Easy-going. Four 5-pg essays and nine 2-pg response essays. You have to read 5-6 books: William Gibson's "The Neuromancer," Jean Toomer's "Cane," Flannery O'Connor short stories, William Carlos Williams poems, David Mamet's play "Glengarry Glen Ross." One test, which is the final & it encompasses all the books you read. Have to have read the book.

Lectures were always interesting with Professor Taciuch. This class was one of my more stress-free classes. There are 3 essays, weekly discussions, and a final presentation, but they were not difficult to complete. Definitely a solid choice for an honors college professor!

Taciuch is a relaxed and amiable professor. His class has almost no content; most days are casual discussions on what's going on in the current book. There are several reading quizzes and two short papers on the books. The midterm and final are trivial; a single-sided piece of paper with short answer and matching questions. He is a lenient grader.

The online version of this course includes weekly discussion board posts. There is one big massive term paper that is due at the end but the weekly assignments contribute to it. I found it very easy to write 10 pages once all the previous assignments were completed

I took the 8-week summer class online and I'm glad I did. He is the best professor to teach this class if you are a business major. All assignments lead to a 6-10 pages assignment. No tests or quizzes. No extra credit. No grammar is graded. Class is based on teaching how to research. He is quick to answer emails. Dr. T is THE BEST AT GMU. TAKE HIM

This guy is hyper critical of even the most trivial of assignments to the point where I have no idea what he's going to give me for a grade regardless of the level of effort I put into properly doing an assignment. He just reads over the slides and doesn't add much else. Just an absolute time sink of a course for no pay off. Just take someone else.

Dr. T was the chillest and easy lit prof ever. We had weekly 2 point quizzes based off the every few chapters we were reading. He offers extra credit. There are two papers as well as a midterm and final. If you read you will surely be fine. He offers chances to revise and re-submit papers if you dont get the grade you want.

The course sounded useless but it was an easy A and a great time. I learned the basics of coding and learned to write better for interative media which was lucky because the Next job I applied for required using the program (Twine) he taught us. Hardly a class to take seriously, but surprisingly useful and fun.

Grandpa Dean is the best. Kind, open, friendly, and facilitates wonderful class discussions. There were two major papers at the end of class and weekly discussion board posts, but at no point did the work feel out of proportion and he grades kindly. He also likes The Lighthousee (2019), which is cool.
