miss degidio is a fair teacher, she uses her power point presentations during class which are accesable on blackboard. for every test she has, she gives out study guides and if u study , you for sure get an A!!! good teacher!

Man, if you don't take her you'll never understand the interest of Psy. I love her to every bit. I can't wait to take 202 with her.

Excellent teacher, she is very helpful and gives study guides for every test. Her lectures are crytal clear, just study and attend class and you will get a good grade.

It's clear this professor is NOT teaching ONLY in order to make a living. She is very involved and experienced in the subject and encourages class discussion. She is descent and well intended, patient and understanding. One of the best teachers I've had - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is my first "rating" as this website. I just wanted to recommend Degidio because she is NORMAL, fair and helpful. All he tests are grounded from the book and her own power points that are always available at blackboard. She gives clear instructions and is always well prepared for class.

She is good...just keep up with the material and you'll b fine...she gives 2 projects and 5 tests...the tests are multiple choice..and you don't even need a book. She gives power points for the material...all you have to do is go over it and u'll pass her class. She gives the class a good vive

I liked her, she was a good teacher, gave you all the information on the test, just study EVERYTHING on the study guide and pay attention and it's easy, the book isn't really needed, but she is a great teacher and just as long as you study what she tells you. Oh and she says she grades harder than she does for both papers, she's an easy grader!

I had the delight of taking Ms. DeGidio's 201 & 202 psy class. Her teaching methods catered to just about any type of learner, clear lectures,visual/media, class exercises/discussions. I think she does more than most!!! As for her tests they where piece of cake if u at least read over the key points and study guide. She is one of the best profs!!!

Professor DeGidio is very knowledgeable about psych. Highly recommd for psych majors. Attendance is mandatory with 1 unexcused & 1 excused (with documentation) allowed per semester. With that said, there's a lot of material in this class. This is definitely not a easy course & a lot of time is req. to excel in class. 3 exams + 1 final + 1 project.

This teacher is good.....She reads from the power point but i find her lectures interesting and not challenging at all. No homework except for "essays" aka 2 paragraphs a chapter to write. This is almost like an online course, most everything is independent work....this teacher is nice and has a lot of knowledge. I'd take her for PSY 2

liked her so much I had her for psy 201 and took her again for psy 202!! nice and a good teacher!!! very organized and knows her stuff. powerpoint and discussion based classes. rarely gets off topic, yet answers and interracts with students really well. she's really friendly and fair. online tests this semester and its going well.

I took Ms. DeGidio's PSY 201 and 202 classes. She is the best! She does take attendance every class, but all of our tests were done online, at home. You could literally sit there with the book and take them. We had 5 quizzes, also online, and two projects. All of them are pretty easy. She is a really nice person, as well. Take her classes!

Ms. DeGidio is very nice and makes teaching fun. Interesting material and very easy to understand. overall easy class! She sometimes takes a while to grade assignments, and can be a little harsh on grading at times. Overall recommended though!

I liked her. She is very clear about expectations, easy to approach. Approx. 6 essays only a few paragraphs each. It was a long class but she tries hard to keep us engaged with videos, activties, discussions, and occassional jokes. Tests are based on lecture and text so be sure to read the book

Other than the fact that she takes FOREVER to grade essays/tests she's a pretty decent teacher. Super nice & easy grader. Essays are simple & tests are all online.

She is very nice and very helpful. She makes everything very clear and understandable. Does not assign alot of homework at all, just one essay/quiz on BB every week which is nice because all of them are open book. She really knows the material and offers some extra credit. Her class is interesting and not boring at all. Such a great teacher!

Prof. Degidio is amazing! Class is very interesting with lots of relevant examples given during lecture. 3 online exams (taken at home), 2 easy papers, and 1 easy group presentation. Buy the textbook to use for the take-home exams. Easy grader and easy class. Very enjoyable, high recommend this course to anyone interested in a psych class!

Great teacher. She lectures using powerpoints, and sometimes has class activities. Encourages discussions & questions. 12 quizzes on BB 18% of grade, 4 tests 70% (no final), participation/attendance 12%, plus some easy extra credit. Tests are multiple choice, very easy if you study and take notes. You can easily get an A if you pay attention.

She is a nice professor, just a little bit awkward when she is explaining something. All her test are online, one per chapter. Also one group project and 2 out of 3 essays. If psychology is not your mayor,she will make you at least like it more. You will step out of her class with more knowledge on the field. Take her.

She is a great teacher. Pay attention, do your reading, study, and you'll do great. I struggled a bit but I still passed with a B :). She's there for you. Make sure you call or email her to let her know you need some accommodations or help. She's so nice and helpful!

I took her for a six-week class in the summer. It was reduced to a five-week class that was seven hours long. We got out early all but two classes, but was very enjoyable. Very easy to understand and easy to talk to. I got a B because I got one C on a test. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

She is a great professor! She's very helpful and her lessons were easy to understand. She puts most of her tests and quizzes online and they're pretty easy. Not much writing assignments. She's very laid back and interesting.

Professor DeGidio is great at teaching Social Psychology. The main thing that annoyed me is that she takes forever to respond to emails and sometimes there is no response. There were online tests every other week six total, and she drops the lowest. One or two essays and a group project. Make sure u read the chapters and take notes from ppt slides!

Very passionate about psychology and gives clear, thoughtful explanations. Always willing to go off on an interesting, related tangent, but keeps order overall and her class was a pleasure to attend! I took a 6-week course so tests every week and 2 quizzes per week but they were easy and appropriate to the content and very fair.

Gives you an exam every other week so be ready to study a lot of vocab words. Would not recommend her if you are not interested in psychology. She expects too much for an intro to psychology class

I only got a C on my behalf because of incomplete assignments. She's a great teacher! Hey at least you can really talk to her she really understands and will listen to you! But if a device goes off while she's teaching theres a rule that you have to bring in treats for the class! XD The students in both the classes i took loved her class :)

She's not the easiest professor, but her lectures are super interesting. She's always helpful when you need her and is pretty lenient about late things for a college professor.

great teacher, easy homework, exams online open book and open notes but there is a 60 min time limit. I wud suggest printing out class ppt from BB. class attendance is taken twice to see who comes and actually stays and she does give points for class attendance. hw and projects-just do them. they werent hard. would def recommend her class

Professor DeGidio is a great! She allows students to really engage into the class during lecture. It is overall an easy class if you show up, listen, and do all the online quizzes. The answers are right in the textbook. She really cares and listens to all her students. Very knowledgeable woman, and I definitely recommend her class.

Overall pretty good. She uses a lot of videos and lectures but too brief to be worth taking notes. You will have to read and study on your own to learn anything and past the tests. The test a deceptively hard but not impossible. Quizzes online once a week and a few easy writing assignments. She is very sweet and would take again.

Professor DeGidio is one of THE nicest professors! If at any point, you're confused with an assignment, all you have to do is ask her and she will quickly clarify. Her topics were so interesting and her feedback on papers was SO helpful! She was an all around great professor, and I would easily take her class again!

Deanna DeGidio is a professor that is at times disorganized, but she is a friendly professor that expects attendance, and loves participation. She clearly knows her stuff, and will throw in interesting tidbits about psychology. Expect tricky questions on the exam, extra credit, and multiple chances to succeed in this class. Oh yeah, buy a stapler!

Mrs. DeGidio is so sweet. Actually I wasn't interested in psychology until I took her class. All what you need to do is take some notes and follow the study guide and you'll be fine! She gives extra credits, and you can drop the lowest score; plus you have an option to skip a test and take it with the final!

Professor Degidio is by far top 3 of the greatest professors I have had so far. She is so sweet and makes psychology fun by incorporating fun activities and is very engaging. She also willing to help if you seek it. She is awesome.

Prof DeGidio is such a sweet professor. She's always eager to answer all questions and responds to all comments in class, and if you're confused, she'll answer and help you to understand to the best of her ability. She's the nicest, but you need to attend class, and do the mandatory 9 quizzes and 4 labs for points!! Tests are short, but detailed.

this teacher is good for your GPA. Her lectures are straight off the PowerPoint slides and she does have at least one homework assignment due each week. She provides study guides for test and does drop the lowest exam score. Out of the four exams one is a cumulative take home exam. Each class there is small in class assignment proves attendance.

Professor Degidio had amazing lectures made people feel engaged in the topic and had an interesting twist of learning style. My favorite thing she would do was pair us up based on trending interest and made the class environment feel friendly.

She is very funy and willing to help you out. Come to class and do well on the tests, she drops your lowest score, so you can skip a test. I didn't have to take the final!

Professor DeGidio is amazing. Lectures are on blackboard, and in class she goes over the slides thoroughly. In- class activities are fun and easy. There are no daily homework assignments. However, weekly quizzes are to be submitted. Exams are straight forward and easy. You get to drop your lowest exam score. She is very sweet and understanding

Pure angel take her, you get 3 credits in just four weeks and she makes it easier than ever. only homeworks are quizzes and "labs" online and they are too easy and you can choose 11 out of the 14. tests are okay all you have to do is pay attention seriously i love her so much i would take again if i could

I've taken this professor for both 201 and 202 and I don't regret it. She really helps you understand the content with real life examples and group work. The test are kinda tough IF YOU DON'T STUDY but they can be the easiest if you do study. There is also a take home test at the end of the semester that replaces your work test score which is good

I think she is a great professor! The grading schedule is very clear. She is very nice and caring. She is more than happy to help if you are confused or need help in anything.

Hardest test completed at home and low grade dropped, clear study guides, grading not too tough, lots of extra credit, classes fun and engaging. A easily achievable with reasonable effort. Must attend class.

Very caring and sweet professor. There is work that comes with this class, so be ready to do weekly assignments. If you do the study guides, it will help you a lot on the tests. Fairly easy class, just study and do the assignments on time and show up to class.

Hands down the best prof. I've taken PSY twice now (this is the third time) and failed miserably. Prof D is super nice, gives great feedback, provides study guides, has a clear layout of the assignments. I never thought I would like Psychology but after taking her class I love it. You do have to read a bit, but the material is easy to understand.

if you are psycho for psychology go for it. she knows the material my class met once a week so it was heavy but what I hated the most was her test she does provides a study guide listing chapter 1-5 every single thing and you end up studying something that wont be on the test. Ridiculous! be more specific and do not waste my time.

As a Psychology major, Professor DeGidio was my first psychology professor. She was a very fun, and caring professor. There was a lot of homework, and the labs were great if you like hands on things. The tests were a little hard but if you study then you will be fine.

If you're looking for a professor that is fair and gives you everything you need to pass your class from the jump, she is the one. Her syllabus was packed, but it helped you with the online classwork and the tests. She even gives you a study guide to prepare you for her exams. I got out better than I put in, I put in C+ work and got a B.

Shes a good teacher , homework is easy . The only thing I didnt like was that homework was too much work for such little points . Study guide was okay but some things werent even on the test . Overall the class was okay not too hard

16 week PSY 200 ONLINE. Weekly Modules, containing a full chapter reading assignment. Online multiple choice practice quizzes essentially open book. 3 Tests, 40 questions each worth 2 points, 2 short essay questions. 3 - 5point extra credit opportunities. Does not accept late work. Work load is very doable. A few writing assignments too.

She's a very good professor. I took her hybrid 12 week class. Textbook was required but I didn't buy it and I still got a B in her class. She assigned a fair bit of homework but it was easy. Definitely take her.

She was a good professor, just do the work and you will pass. I took her for Psy 200, Psy 216 & Psy 230 (all hybrid). There are 4 tests which are easy if you study and she drops the lowest one. She is very helpful if you need any assistance in understanding the material. There are weekly small assignments but it is not too time-consuming.

Professor Degidio is such an amazing professor! She is super responsive, and she gives super detailed and effective feedback on all of your assignments. Her exams are fair, as long as you read the chapter, do the assignment, and read her feedback, you will do just fine. I highly recommend her class!!

Her online course was soo easy! Usually 2-4 assignments due per week, but they didn't take long (I took the 7-week course). Answers were straight out of the book. And she didn't grade assignments toughly. Test questions were based on the homework for the most part (40 MC & 3 short answer. Easy A.

Shes the best professor Ive ever had. Shes so nice, sweet, understanding. The test are easy as long as you look at the study guide and the essay questions she tells you before a week before the exam. BASICALLY AN EASY A. Few assignments and labs.

Take her! Just focus on the exams you do well the the first 3 exams you dont need to take the fourth one. Gives you a study guide before the test basically gives you the test. Week assignments that are easy like discussions. Trust me its easy. At first it seems confusing but its easy.

Very enjoyable and clearly passionate about her work, even when the rest of the class didn't reciprocate. I was glad to take her class.

LOVE LOVE LOVE professor Degidio. Super sweet professor you just need to put in effort and you're sure to pass. I've taken three of her classes. Kind, understanding, you name it. Just make sure to look at your textbook and you'll be fine.

She seems to be a nice person but has a hard time grading assignments and exams on time. Many asked her about their grades because it said 50.2% or 64.7%. A lot of assignments say 0 before it's been graded. Besides that, she is a pretty good professor. She also uses the textbook a lot but posts Slides with recordings I found helpful. (Hybrid class)

Nice professor! Took a hybrid class so you had to do a lot of reading (although I didn't ngl), tests were also online. Group discussions fairly often, but the class was very laid back so don't be nervous. Gives good study guides, I would study only an hour or two before the tests and get a B, do w that info what you will lol. Take her, good luck!!

She was great! Gave very readable feedback and gave extra credit opportunities. The textbook she used was very easy to understand and apply to assignments. Tests were very relevant. Taking her again for PSY215 because she was so good.
