Professor Henrikson is an amazing teacher. During High School I never made above a C in math, so to have an instructor who was not only able, but willing to make the material understandable to all students was great. I would recomend anyone who needs to take prep math courses hunt down professor Henrikson and take her course. She also really cute.

Mrs. H is such a wonderful teacher! She will take her time and answer any question-she perfers when people ask questions, She even goes over the peoblems you got wrong on the midterm so you would understand on the final! i love this class! she is a very good teacher! take this class if u really need the help in math!

Deanna truly loves to teach and it's evident in the time she spends with her students. If you have a desire to learn she will bend over backwards to help! A great example of her dedication occurred early in the fall semester when she realized her office hours didn't fit her students' schedule, she reworked her free time to better accommodate us.

I highly recommend taking her class. She will go out of her way to make sure you have the knowledge to pass the class. You get extra credit for coming to class. Unlike most professors she is available after class to help you succeed. If you are lucky like me you will get to see her tell people what?s up for using a cell phone in class.

I recommend taking Mrs.H! She is very proud of what she does and helping her students learn and pass! She is very tough but its a good thing! I took her class for MAT0024. She is such a good professor that I almost didn?t have to study for MAT1033; which I passed with an A. I only wish the other teachers were as good as her. They seem to think that writing the example from the book is teaching. Be prepared to do homework.

I cannot thank her enough!!! I managed to pull my grade from a F to a B in a week due to the fact that she wanted us to pass. I had to work my @$$ off for it, but it was worth it. Very hard quizzes and test that make the common final seem like a cakewalk. She does a lot of homework and a few projects that are VERY similar to the problems on the final.

2hrs a week in class for lecture the rest in the Math Lab. So if you cant teach yourself math or go by notes and help buttons you probably should not take this class. however if you get your work done and study hard for tests its an easy A.

AWESOME teacher she breaks it down and helps you and if you don't get it in class you can go to her after and she will see that you understand it. If you get a bad grade in her class it is your own fault because she gives you all you need to pass. TAKE HER CLASS!!

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD. Mrs. Henricksen is the most helpful teacher I have ever had. She is also very understanding. Come to class and I can assure you you will pass. Mrs Deanna is very kind very devoted to her students, doesnt like disrespect but isnt mean if it occurs she just makes everyone laugh. She is very helpful and gives you a chance to do make up work to bring up your grade at the end of the semester.

Best professor I have ever had. I failed this course in the fall with a different professor and then got an A when I took it with Mrs.Deanna! She makes sure you understand what you need to do and shows you what you did wrong on any questions you missed on the test. She gives you two days to do a homework assignment and goes over any questions.Best!

Like the previous raters, I failed this course with another professor who I hope is long gone by now. Mrs. Henriksen is AMAZINGGGGG. She helped me so much and is really funny and sweet and I really wish I could take her for my future math classes. Will miss her!

It is very simple to succeed in her class; study, do your work on time (MML shows due dates) and ask questions when you're lost. I highly suggest purchasing the book/MML package at the SF bookstore because it's cheaper and you can use the book to study. She is very helpful and makes sure you understand in class, in the lab, and even by home email.

This woman finally helped me pass MAT1033. I had a D last semester and had to drop my class and this semester with Deanna's help, I received a B. She really communicates with you and tries to help her students do the best they can. She made her material easy to understand and if you needed help she was always there. Best math professor I've had in the three colleges I've been too. She is so helpful and will never make you feel dumb for asking a question. If everyone isn't on the same page in the lecture she will stop and go over it 6 times just to make sure. Shes constantly stopping and asking if everyone gets the material. Prepare to do a lot of homework because this is an online class after all. She's a tough grader but at the same time her test are not really hard because she prepares you for whats on the test. If you're not good at math don't take an online class. She gives you clear criteria on what's needed for this class. She opens up missing HW if you ask.

Took her for trig online and helped me with any questions I had. Tests aren't difficult and she prepares you before with similar questions so you get a feel of what's on it. Class was great which is why I'm taking her again for MAC1140 online.

I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Henriksen.... she is one of the best teachers! She does a great job explaining everything and going over the material, and making sure everyone in the class is up to speed. She is so accommodating and you can tell she cares about her students actually learning. She is honestly just the best.

I'm surprised seeing the two comments before me. It' wasn't horrible for me but everyone learns differently. Took her for MAC1140. she has notes for every section and yeah sometimes I was lost but then she helped me through problems. If you understand everything on homework's,worksheets, and quizzes then you will do fine on Tests.

Dr. Henriksen was a great trig teacher. I am horrible at math but I feel like her lectures were very clear and helpful, this is the only time I've ever been confident in a math course and actually enjoyed it. Homework was based on lectures. I enjoyed the fact that tests weren't handwritten b/c you can probably get partial credit. Would recommend.

Professor Henriksen was very attentive. Has online lectures and she explains her math very well. She is very thorough and helps you out as much as possible. She's lenient and will extend work when needed. The tests were not difficult, but you are required to show your work. Great teacher overall!

If you are a self-motivated person, you should be able to pass this class, but it requires a lot of time and effort. Professor Henriksen is a good teacher but sometimes if you ask for her to send you something she forgets. We were allowed a notecard as a cheat sheet on the final, but on the other 3 tests all you have is a calculator & your brain.

I took her class online for trig, and it is a VERY hard class. She is such a great prof, very kind and always willing to help, she is also very understanding and will likely give you extensions if you ask for one. The prof alone is amazing, but this class was the hardest I've ever taken and is my second C in college (with two degrees.)

Professor Henriksen was pretty average. Her lectures are set up on a program called Livescribe that is very problematic. I had to teach myself many lessons because her lectures would fail. You can turn in any of the homeworks and projects late with no penalty, and you can do the homework until you get a 100. Easiest math class available.

Ms. Henriksen is an amazing professor and my absolute favorite so far. She is extremely caring and understanding and only wants to see you to do a good job. Her homeworks are easy 100's if you put in the time and her tests are pretty reasonable. There is no reason you can't succeed in this class as long as you put forth the effort.

She is very thorough and does a good job of covering the material. She makes sure that all questions are answered and explains the lesson very well. She is patient and gives lots of extra credit opportunities. Honestly one of the best math classes I've taken and isn't difficult if you pay attention.

Her homework assignments and quizzes do not have strict due dates, but my biggest piece of advice is to stay on top of them because it's easy to get behind! 10/10

Best professor I've ever had. She cares ALOT. The homework/quizzes can be overwhelming, it's in WebAssign which sucks but is what it is. Can't use calculator on 1st exam (dont need). Was able to use 1 helpful notecard on 2nd/3rd exams to put formulas/additional help. SUPER responsive, and actually cares about the student. Easily best professor ever

Professor Henriksen is very nice and very helpful during her lectures. The homework is not hard, there is just a lot of questions in each assignment. Quizzes are easy as are the in-class activities. She is very thorough in reviewing before tests and the final exam.

The workload of this class was easy to manage as long as you stay on top of assignments. Professor Henriksen is very approachable and responds quickly if you need to reach her outside of class. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities and extra practice assignments to help with tests. She also holds class outside sometimes which is fun.

She is flexible with her office hours and is dedicated to answering questions thoroughly. One of my favorite things about her is that she has such a bubbly personality that makes students excited to learn at 11:00 AM in the morning. She is very understanding when it comes to deadlines, and will work with you to make sure that you pass her class.

Deanna is such a sweet lady and is very good at communicating. Her class is not too difficult, but there's a lot of assignments. The exams are short (which leaves little room for error) & weighted heavily. A lot of times, the things covered in the lectures don't match the hw so you will probably have to do some searching online for help.

Easily one of my all-time favorite math professors! When necessary, she reopens assignments. All of the math lessons are included in a very helpful workbook. She reviews every chapter's content in detail and assigns homework with a fair deadline. All you need to do to pass the 3 tests and the final is study the workbook and review the HW.

Professor Henriksen was awesome, especially if you're someone who struggles with math like myself. She was very quick with responses and had wonderful materials to help with the current subjects. Tests are weighed very heavily, so be prepared to study.

Henrisken is a good professor. The late passes were a life saver many times. I only had an issue with the review playlist provided, it seemed very old and different from what we were taught.

Ms. Deanna was very nice throughout the semester to all students and answered any and all questions. Her teaching style is quite fast so we covered material quickly. For the average student who doesn't enjoy math, wouldn't recommend. To anyone who likes math, 100% take this class.

This class was SO hard with lots of homework, but Professor Henriksen teaches the material very well. All of her tests are free response so you must know the material but she does give partial credit. The bad reviews of hers were probably from students who did not try. You should show her that you care about your grade and actually want to learn.

I would take Deanna for all future math courses if possible.

Such a good teacher and so caring! Prepared notes for each lecture and sent them out ahead of schedule and was always willing to help you out. Loved her!!

She was truly one of the best math teachers I've ever had! She cares about every student and wants you to succeed. She also gives you all the help you need to be successful!

Test can be very specific, 3 worth 16% of grade and final worth 20%. Test killed my grade but other than that the workload is very manageable. Professor is also very understanding and supportive, will give extensions when needed.

Could not have had a better professor for this course. I was really surprised to see such low ratings, but Deanna was great. She was passionate, helpful, and very patient. She was thorough and almost moved a little slow at times, but I feel like it benefitted everyone at the end of the day. I definitely recommend her to anyone.

Professor Henriksen is genuinely a caring and competent teacher. There is a decent amount of homework (2-3 assignments per week) but its manageable. Also gives great lectures and good feedback, would recommend taking her.
