I thought this class was very easy! There is quite a bit of writing. Dont take this class if you are lazy, tardy all the time, and plan on being absent more than 4 times!

Her class was very simple, as long as you do your work on time, and go to class. I got an A, and there is not much work you have to do to earn that A.

Shes a pretty good teacher, she likes to go off on tangenets but she breaks your papers down and it really helps. She likes to be about 10-15 min late but whos complaining? More sleep time!

VERY BORING.

easy class if you can keep up with the work...shes also super nice and will do everything to help you pass...she also lets you redo one of your papers for a better grade...only problem is that her lectures are boring...otherwise, great professor...

She is a sweet woman and although her classes can at time seem unnessisary, she means good. The work is easy and she really helps you out you can tell she cares. The only thing is that you can't be absent more then 4 times, but other then that this class is very simple.

i think she was great. she tells you exactly what she wants and grades you fairly...even gives you a second chance. she is very sweet and knows her stuff

U do like 5 reaction papers (1 1/2pg each) and a 10 pg research paper but as long as u do the work and the changes she ask u to do u will be just fine. Class is never cancelled and u never leave early but the class is an easy A if u just show up and do the work

She is a great teacher, she tells you exactly what she wants you to do, and she only gives a few papers which she corrects the drafts and you can have a better final. She is great, you really start writing as you should after her class.

Vey good profesor, boring at times but she brings out the best in every student. Fairly easy assignments and if u do all she askes for u will do just fine and get at least a B on her class.

if you like doing high school work, take her... she likes everything done her way, but it is always easy, just very tedious. got an A in the class, not hard.

Great teacher! She is tough, she doesn't just assign you a paper and expect that you turn it in, no, she makes sure you are working on it by requiring you to bring it in what you have 4 times before the due date. I didn't like that about the class, however she motivates students better than other professors I have had. I recommend her for those students who like to write.

I would recomend her class to anyone. She is very nice and makes the most effort of all the professors I have had to try and get to know her students. She can grade a little hard at times but at the end of the semester she allows you to re-do one of your papers for a better grade.

Great teacher had her for 1101 and now 1102. She is very helpful, caring, and understanding. If you do what she asks you will have no problem passing this class.=)

She is picky with her essays but not all that hard. Just do your work and you'll be fine. She corrects your paper 499494 times until it gets perfect so theres no reason not 2 get a good grade on it. Old lady so she does get boring at times but nice.

She's a very sweet lady who's very understanding. If you do all of her work, then you should be fine. I definitely recommend her.

Great professor. I really recommend it. Just do all the work and be careful with the grammar. If you do what she says, exactly the way she says it, you will do fine.

I'd recommend this professor. I'm taking her again for 1102. This is a good class to take if you strive to really improve your writing. She's not the easiest, however if you dedicate time, you should have no problem. She's pretty funny and lets the class work in groups a lot

I REALLY RECOMMEND HER. SHE IS REALLY GOOD, HELPFUL AND EASY WITH STUDENTS, YOU CAN GET AN EASY A ON THIS CLASS, SHE IS REALLY NICE, IF YOU FOLLOW HER INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL.

SHE IS ADORABLE, THE NICEST TEACHER THAT I HAVE EVER MET, JUST COME TO CLASS AND DO YOUR WORK AND YOU WILL EASILY GET AN A... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

shes nice, BUT U HAVE TO DO A LOTTTTTTTTT OF WORK. she makes u turn in a folder for every essay that consists of 1000 things. if you have no other choice, then take her bc shes nice, but u have to do a lot of work

Class is ok. It's like being in middle school again. She gives a lot of tedious bookwork, essays (length has to be 3-4 pages each), and reading assignments. Definitely has her favorite students. Harsh grader. Goes off topic. Has New Jersey accent. She's nice, pretty caring, and understanding. Both two textbooks will be used.

she's so cute/crazy/funny. lots of tedious assignments. she pushes you to do your best. she's kind of repetitive. you work in groups and do several drafts of each paper. tedious, but not difficult. nice lady, grades fairly, recommended if you like to write. lots of papers, so dont take her if you want to get by with as little work as possible.

I had her for two semesters & I love her! She is a nice lady & hilarious!! She gives students a very CLEAR unit plan with a daily class agenda. The folders that must be turned in have a lot of assignments which are time consuming but they are easy. I would reccomend her to anyone.

Very sweet (sometimes senile) old lady. She does give a lot of work but it isn't difficult at all. Don't take this class if you don't want to do work. Many drafts for one paper and a lot of working in peer groups (but nothing that will effect your grade if you get stuck in a bad group). Easy class if you are willing to do your part. :)

She's easy..kinda crazy sometimes. She's really weird but funny. her assignments are stupid and long. Nothing you couldn't handle in high school. Her lectures are pretty boring but w.e. She's not bad at all so take her with no worries

I took this class with Mrs. G in Fall 07. She was the best teacher I had in the 1st semester of this 1st year. She is very nice and VERY fair. Yes, there is a lot of work, but it is not hard at all and if you are interested in doing well then you should pass this class with an A. I HIGHLY recommend her for Enc 1101.

i love her! i recommend her to anyone! i have taken her for 3 semesters and would take her for more if she taught any other classes i needed! take her, yeah a lot of small no-brainer assignments but she is a genuine and fair person who loves and cares for her students! plus, she is funny and likes talking about sex...she is amazing, take her!

She's such a nice teacher..and a fair grader. There are some assigned readings and assignments...she makes you do brainstorming, drafts, final drafts...etc but isn't really that difficult. She does arrive late...don't try to run away like we once did ;] Overall nice professor and lady.

I had Ms. G for ENC 1101 and 1102. She is a great professor who really cares about her students. She only assigns 4 essays but breaks it down so that you avoid writing the papers at the last minute. She's very sweet and she talks a lot... mostly about sex. Attendance is important! Oh, and it's true... don't run away from her like we did...

Easily one of the worst English teachers at FIU. If you have no interest in English at all, then take her. Otherwise, all she'll do is waste your time with idiotic stories about sex, her naked nephew, or how great of a teacher she believes she is. An easy A, but she does nothing to help her students grow.

Took her for 1101 and 1102. She's amazing when you're fresh out of high school and are dreading college courses. She's not too demanding, it's not that much work, its a normal load; the peer groups sometimes are amazing and give you best friends! Get on her good side and she will make life paradise. It's an easy class to transition to from high school. Her work isn't that demanding but you need to do it to pass the class. All we had were about 4 essays which are broken down over the semester. She's nice and not too demanding. Attendance IS mandatory. She does help you out along the way and doesn't demand too much of you.

Best ENC professor period. Easy class if you do all the work and don't miss. Shes very generous when grading papers. She has a great character and is a wonderful person. She provides a lot of feedback, has generous office hours and is always a great person to talk to and get to know.

Mrs. G is a fantastic teacher. She does assign a lot of work but most of it is easy and it's the same work that any other ENC teacher will assign. She likes to joke around with her students but don't get on her bad side or she'll pick on you for the rest of the semester.

She is an alright teacher, she's really nice, she treats her students well and fairly. I recommend you to take her class if you are a good student looking for a good learning experience.

She is a very nice lady, but can develop a temper quickly. Make sure to do all the work and come to class prepared. Her lectures are extremely boring, but attendance is mandatory :/. Easy class but I am sure there are more fun teachers than her.

Hands down, the nicest teacher/professor I have ever had. She really feels for her students and will let you revise your papers for a better grade. Trust me, you cant fail this class unless you do absolutely nothing.

Ms. G is a great teachert. She loves to talk and joke around and often goes off topic. If you need help with writing TAKE THIS CLASS! She is very flexible with turning in your work and oftern gives you extra days to do it. I actually learned quite a bit from her. The only bad thing is you can only miss 5 days of her class :(

Ms. G is a great professor. English is not my first laguage and to have her as professor for ENC1101 and ENC1102 was a blessing! I learn a lot from her classes, good theory that you really need to know if you want A essays. You have to read out loud the A&B book during class. She is always willing to help and flexible when you deserve it. Take it!

Everyone in the class loved her she is extremely good professor!! She is flexible with papers, 5 missing classes allowed, knows her staff, funny and helpful! Take this class you will write a lot but you will get an A easily.

She was a great teacher, just hated the fact that we had to read the textbook aloud in class. She gives multiple opportunities if you're nice to her. Just make sure you keep up with her work daily so it doesn't pile up.

Class was pretty easy. I waited untill the last minute to do my work every time but it was still easy. Makes you sign in for attendance, and will make you read aloud in class. Honestly the easiest A I think Ill get in college.

She is very nice and helpful. The textbook questions you have to do with the essay take forever so get them done asap. No midterm or finals. Only essays and a lot of textbook questions. The worst thing about her is that she never returns any of your essays so you never know how you did on them until your final grade. Try and get her to change that.

As long as you get on her good side, individually and as a class, this class is a breeze with her. Just do all the work she assigns and you'll pass with flying colors.

She's funny & nice, also very flexible. She wants her students to get a good grade so if you don't bring work on the due date, she'll let you bring the work another day. She does take forever to grade, theres 2 days left of class & I havent received one grade..

Super sweet teacher, can be strict at times but only if you don't follow her directions. Very clear about what she wants, work load isn't too heavy. Getting on her good side is a plus!

She is an older lady but down to earth. She lets you know exactly what she wants and is a easy grader. She is super sweet and will make you laugh. I enjoyed her class. Just be sure you are on her good side because that is important. She is small but she will give big attitude. Essays were easy. She is helpful and flexible. Loved her.

This professor is amazing. Yes you will have copy and paste homework that is tedious and read aloud like you are in elementary, but she is very nice and down to earth. She knows what she's teaching so you are set for 1101.

I loved this professor. She is super sweet! I took her for 1101, and followed her to 1102. She truly cares about her students and is funny! 3 papers for the semester, and with every paper you have to turn in other assignments, they are long and tedious but super easy, just do them! Make sure to proofread your paper! she's always willing to help!

G is a true sweetheart! Yes the copy and paste questions everyone talks about are tedious but its such an easy grade! Following her into ENC1102 just because of how easy she is! Make sure to get on her good side and shell definitely take care of you. seriously take her she's the best

Honestly this professor is great. She gives three essays due at the end of the semester and three quizzes. SUPER EASY! If you do the work and she sees you trying there's no reason for failing. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS! she explains what she wants clearly there. Lets you revise your essays to get a better grade. GREAT LADY

This teacher is amazing honestly, if you go to class and listen to how you are suppose to write things you will easily get a 100 in the class. Professor Gyenizse honestly cares for her students. She always has stories to tell to help ease our stress. Her grading is very clear. I recommend this teacher 100%!!!

Miss G is the absolute best! followed her from enc1101 into 1102 and not much has changed... great professor super funny and really wakes you up in the mornings not much more to say she's awesome take her

Professor G is hilarious and very witty. I love her class because she is really clear about what she wants you to do, she gives a reasonable amount of time to write essays. She will move the due date when the class needs an extra day. She also gives good feedback on the essay. Allows up to 7-8 absences, tardy is consider a half-absent.

Professor Gyenizse is awesome professor. She is a really good teacher. You will know what you need to do in class her in order to get an A. She is clear as can be on with instructions and what you need write on the essays. She grades fairly and is always ready to help you outside of class. I wasn't the best writer but came out a better one.

I thought this class would be a little challenging considering the other reviews, but she is easy! Yes, she does act like a high school teacher but its so easy! She gives you chances and helps you out with your grade.

Easy A.

This class is definitely an easy A. There is 3 main projects and Professor G. is not hard on the due dates. However, she is a little messy. She might confuse you sometimes as she doesn't know a lot of things.

Shes a very good professor! Although, she grades a little heavy on work, you just have to make the corrections she asks if you. The majority of class was reading and answering questions, which she makes everyone participate. She also tells a lot of stories but overall shes good. Theres also 3 major papers for her class that are not too hard.

Professor G. can be a tough grader, but if you stay on top of the assignments and participate in class, you'll do well. The workload is manageable, and Unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for my essay prep. Overall, a solid professor.
