I hated this class so much at first because it seemed harder than other WRTG150 classes. By the end, I was so grateful I took her. She is caring and wants us to succeed. She regularly will meet outside of class to help with papers. Its not the easiest choice, but even as a lazy student Im glad I took it!

Professor Harrisons enthusiasm for her subject is contagious; the energy she brought to class had a mirror effect on us students. We were engaged, we were present, we were interested! Not only does she explain usage thoroughly and succinctly, she gives students the tools to find answers for themselves. The hands-on style of her class made me much

I think this was one of the most useful and practical classes I have taken in the editing program so far. Professor Harrison was always positive and helpful, and she explained concepts and assignments clearly. I loved the funny stories she told about different usage mistakes too. GradeExercises due each class, an oral report project, and 5 exams.

Professor Harrison is SO knowledgable and does a fantastic job explaining tough concepts. Her expectations are clear for the class, just be sure to put in the work when studying for tests. She doesn't make you feel dumb for asking questions and respects students from all backgrounds. If you do the work, you will get a great grade! 10/10

She is an angel. Super kind, lenient, willing to help. The more questions you ask, the better you will do in the course. Listen when she says to study for exam 2. It has the potential to tank your grade. Besides that, the class is fairly easy if you keep on top of it. She will do anything to see you succeed.
