The class is pretty hard, but she makes it to understand when you actually asks some questions. The notes on the board and her anecdotes are really helpful in doing the homework problems. I got an A in the class by listening well and taking careful notes.

She's very nice and helpful. She doesn;t take many points off if you get something wrong on her tests. She explains all the topics clearly. Assigns a lot of homework and reading but then she goes over it so your not lost. Just know the problems she assigns and you'll do fine.

Fantastic teacher. Reading obviously is necessary for business law class but she makes it very easy because she goes over the most important parts. She really tries to make a boring subject interesting. Not an easy A but a really hard class to do bad in. If you want to learn and do good take her.

Great professor! Had no problems with her lectures (it's very clear+ she explains it well), I didn't even read the book. Got an A. Do the h/w problems, pay attention in calls and you will be fine! Also, if you participate (answer the h/w questions in class) you get an extra credit. :)

Best Teacher Ever!! You don't have to read the book at all b/c she posts slides that are very helpful & easy to understand. Her tests are multiple choice and essays,which come straight from the HW problems. Explains everything clearly.Go to class, participate, do HW & you'll get an easy A!!

Take notes, do the homework and you should do fine. Very clear and is helpful in explaining if you don't understand. Tests are similar to HW problems. Your loss if you choose not to do them. Would definately take her again for other courses.

Guys she will make Law seem real EASY. All u hav to do is dedicate urself. ALways take notes n do da hw. problems (very helpful)..reading the book is not really necessary b/c her notes would cover the things u need to know. However, u can briefly read the chapters so u can participate. She gives x-tra credit if u know da answer!!

Her slides are very helpful, but you need the textbook for homework even she never collects them. Midterms similar to homework, and the departmental final is not sky-rocket hard even though it is cumulative. Study her slides, do the homework - the A is definitely a lock.

Homework problems given are a big help and she goes over all of them. Make sure her students understand everything. Lots of information, but she makes it easier to understand.

Prof.Kamniner is awesome...She makes the subject so interesting...I'm one of the lazy one's who nevr did the homework...but went to every class n paid attention when she went over Hm...that's the key n I aced her exams...def. gettin an A. She's inspired me to do a law minor...DEFINTELY RECOMMEND..She's one of the few good prof at Baruch.

I can definitely say that this professor is one of the best at Baruch. She explains everything so clearly and she makes sure a topic is understood before moving on. There are a lot of materials to cover in each chapter and she explains it so clearly. Take good notes because her exams are long (but not too hard), the exam is open book.

Very clear and straightfoward. We had some dumb students in the class but she managed to teach them too (at least that's what I think). Previous ratings are accurate. Very fair in grading. Absolutely no curve. I got an A. You deserve exactly what you earn. The test are not as easy as people make them sound. You need to go to class!

This professor was wonderful and very helpful. She taught the material in a way any one who was paying attention would have learned. She's very funny, although she doesn't try to be. She can be a bit nasty to late students, but can you blame her? Three exams, including the dept final. I would take her again, in fact, I might..

At first I wasn't anticipating a great class, but give her a chance, she makes the material really clear and I actually enjoyed her class. She's a fair grader, no curve, a quiz, midterm and final. She tries to freak lazy students out in the very beginning. But if you want to study, you will learn a lot! She explains topic very well in interesting form. Understand HW problems and you will do well. Not too much of work, but do whatever she tells you.

She explains material clear but very fast. Don't be late, she will freak out. She doesn't like students to bring laptops and if you do, she'll randomly pick on you to check if you are pay attention. If you do the homework and know the materials on the slides, you will do fine.

She is so organized, brings exams on time, and clear! I honestly learned from her slides. If your read her slides and study and understand them as well as review hw problems before exams, there is no reason you should not get an A or A-. Make sure you participate as well so she doesnt think you are absent. i wish all my teachers were like her.

Very good professor. She's very organized, clear, and interesting. The slides are very helpful, and knowing the material on it should be enough to do well. Don't be late or talk in class with other students though because she can't stand slackers. Overall the class was good, and the tests were not difficult.

She's great! She teaches chapter by chapter, explains thoroughly any questions. But must do the hw to be prepared for class which takes only about 20 minutes to do. 2 Exams open book and one group presentation. Expensive book but totally worth it.

If you take this class, make sure you're on time and do the homework - otherwise you get a 30 minute lecture about doing it. She seams to be going through menapause

Overall, clear and well organized. It's not always an easy class to follow, but the prof helps to digest all the info. Preparing through doing the hw and asking questions really helps! 3 exams (2 + final); don't be late or be challenging, bc she will all you out on it! Not a bad class..

I'm taking her again for LAW 3102 after taking her for LAW 1101. Class is taught in the same format, her explanations are still excellent, some more reading required (but not really that much at all.) TAKE HER SHE'S EXCELLENT.

Thought I'd for sure receive a higher grade, but she truncated it. Gets kind of annoyed at kids a lot for asking questions, but she is okay.

Not a bad class. I found it fairly easy, but I know many didn't. The final paper is a chore, but you can get through it. Debbie will definitely call you out for not paying attention, so if you're gonna zone out on your laptop, make sure you understand what's happening first.

Great professor! She teaches to encourage learning the information. You MUST read the textbook and not be on your electronics in class. 1 mid term, 1 5-minute debate, 1 2-page paper, and 1 10-page paper based on a law case.

Great Class! she is crystal clear. Everything you need to do in order to get an A, she gives during the class. Just listen to what she wants from you; she tells how she wants the paper to be written, she gives you clear instruction for the midterm. No surprises, and that's what I like about her! And very interesting topics during the debates!

She is a great professor. I learned a lot from this class. She is not a strict grader, so if you work hard, you do not need to worry about the grade.

Open book midterm and final. The textbook is super clear, her lectures are just as easy. Literally the best class ever its a cake walk if you prepare your notes right. Just dont use your phone in class or come in late, she will tear you a new one

Probably the best professor I've had so far at Baruch. Yes, she's strict. However, she has all the qualities it takes to be a great professor. She's only strict because she wants you to learn. The exams are definitely tough, and you NEED to study. Also, do the homework because it will only benefit you.

She takes attendance. Overall I loved the class. There is a group project which can be annoying but not impossible. She usually sticks to her PPT material for her tests so if you don't have book money you can still get a good grade.

Takes attendance and factors in class participation. Had 1 midterm (she cancelled the final exam), 1 individual paper, and 1 group presentation. Easy grader.

SHE IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST YOU CAN TAKE. So knowledgeable, hilarious, smart and helpful. It made a lot of people in my class thinking of continuing studying law. She's very serious and cold with students but if you show you're working she'll help you! I will definitely try to take her again!

Prof Kaminer is one of the best in the Law dept. She teaches in a manner for her students to really learn the material, not just memorize. For employment law 1 midterm and final (both open book). Participation and homework is 15% of your grade so do it. She hates lateness and phones so act accordingly. Easy group project also. Must take.

Professor Kaminer is my favorite professor at Baruch so far. She is very clear and concise in her explanations of the law and uses very interesting examples that I still remember and discuss with others. I am so sad this was only a half semester course.

AMAZING! She has the rare ability to make PowerPoint presentations and lectures engaging, and so clearly describes just how certain law concepts and theories impact business. Excellent at explaining to non-lawyers. Not enough space to adequately explain her - just take her class. I hate it's only a 1.5 credit course! Want more Kaminer!

Never missed class and took notes on almost everything she said. By the end of the semester, I had a 32 page booklet compiled of all the notes I ever made, after editing them. Final was cumulative. Read it over a few times and I was good. Got a 100 on both midterms. No surprises, everything from class is on the exam. Don't come in late, trust me.

Great powerpoint lectures. Tests are fairly easy if you take notes and paid attention in class. She explains everything thoroughly and there are no case studies in this class. 2 Midterms, 1 Departmental Final. Lots of homework but it helps with exams. Don't come in late, especially don't come in with headphones. She's funny and entertains herself.

Funny and makes difficult topics easy to understand, 25 min video group project about an area of employment law, both midterm and final are online. 30pt timed quiz and 70pts for essays and short response. Calls on people to answer homework questions, really easy if you do the homework and read the chapters. Discussion Board post every Wednesday

The material is difficult but she makes it easy to understand by providing examples in class. She goes over what receives full credit for exam responses. She is one of the only professors in law department that gives multiple choice exams. You have to study hard for the exams because they are 85% of your grade.

She was truly a great professor! I really enjoyed this class and I even considered changing my major to business law. She makes everything very easy to understand and provides great notes and reviews so you are set for the exams and the final. If you want to do well in business law, take her class!

She is hands down the best choice for the LAW 9201 and any 1.5 cr MBA course. Engaging and funny class conversations, but more importantly understands that we are MBA students who only need the basics of law. She sets you nicely in the slides and doesn't blindside you: Attendance, 1 midterm, 1 final (30 Qs ea., mix of TF, MC,blanks.) No surprises!

Exams are straightforward and from the lectures, so there are no surprises. Textbook is helpful but not required. She relates her lectures to current events, which makes it engaging. Attendance is required!! As long as you attend and pay attention in class, you will do fine overall.

While quite quirky, Professor Kaminer always came to class extremely prepared. She was very specific with her requirements and was clear about what would be on the exams. While this course does cram a lot into a short period of time, if you do the readings, pay attention in class and study for the exams, you will do well.

she uses polls on zoom which counts as your attendance. The exams are straightforward and are exactly from her lectures + powerpoints- so pay attention. if you ever need a prof. recommendations, then turn on your camera in zoom. she's funny and keeps u engaging. I remember her talking about TikTok lol and some random stuff.

Professor Kaminer is clearly very educated in, and passionate about, her field. Her lectures are easy to follow and the assignments are fairly simple and straightforward. I highly recommend her for LAW 1101 and would take her again.

I appreciate Prof Kaminer's teaching style- easy to follow lectures based on PPTs and assigned readings. Not difficult at all if you make it class on a regular basis. Do the assignments and the tests will be a breeze, not a difficult grader and very accessible. I wish there was an option for me to take her again next semester. Quality Professor.

I tool Professor Kaminer in Spring 2021, I can she is definitely one of the best teachers I've had in my life. She's a very fair grader and very coherent when explaining concepts and issues. She helps birth a love for Law within you if you try to participate in the class.

Professor Kaminer is amazing! Very clear guidelines of what is expected, and she understands that this is a 1.5 credit course but also teaches in a way where you learn the basics of business law. I got more out of this 1.5 credit course than some of my intense and heavy material 3 credit courses. I wish Prof Kaminer taught more grad classes.

Professor Kaminer was great. The class was Hybrid Asynch, attendance wasn't mandatory. A homework assignment a week, which was relatively easy. She goes over them in class. Midterms were online; they were easy as they were open book.The final was harder because it was in person, but if you take notes from the slides you will be all right. Take her!

Professor Kaminer is a great professor, highly recommend! Despite being hybrid asynch, does a really great job with course materials and delivering online content. The class does require some effort because after all you need to have working knowledge, but nothing to worry about. Quizzes / exams were online, and in-person final allows cheat sheet.
