Debbie is extremely helpful when you're absolutely lost,and you WILL get lost in 71. She offers extra credit. ADVICE: do the HW (she won't collect them),take good notes,do the mark hours and youll do good in class. Exams based on homework.

I loved this teacher. She is the department head, and she teaches like she has 40 years of experience doing so! I think she has a double-Ph.D, because she can teach just as well as she knows the subject. I felt like I was going to never pass Math, but when I took her class, things became more clear!

Ms. Williams was a very helpful teacher and she earnestly strives to help you succeed. Ask questions, she doesn't make you feel dumb. Her philosophy is something like, if you fail, I fail as a teacher. Extra credit is also good!

A MATH GODDESS!!! She must have dropped from heaven or something, because for the first time in my life I've gotten an "A" in Math!!! I recommend anyone that stuggles with math to take professor willams. She is nice and very clear on the sections she is teaching. She goes step by step so you can follow for your homework. If you do homework you can use it to take your quizzes and 15 hours in the marc is 15 points extra credit.

she is a great teacher. if you have questions, she wont bite you if you ask unlike lots of other teachers. if you still do not understand what she is explaining, she will take her time showing you other ways or going step by step all over again for you. she is also nice. i did not get the best grades caused my lazyness, but shes still AWSOME.

This is my third time taking this class and she has explained things in a way that other professors could not. Im finally going to pass, and understand how to do the math so im prepared for my next math class. She is a very nice and down to earth teacher. I would def recommend her. Good professor,class is a lil tough. No hw, its a study tool. Take home quizes. She explains problems pretty well, can be a hard grader on tests. If your struggling go to tutoring, thats how I passed! Beware of final, its a packet size one. Just make sure grade is around a high B or A before taking it, because its worth a lot of points. Debbie is such a great teacher i hate math but when i took her class wow i was able to understand math really well. She gives hw but doesnt collect it gives you reviews which are great help for exams and she gives extra credit in most of the reviews if you do lab hours you also get some extra credit. Great teacher... REALLY EASY CLASs.

Ms. Williams' lessons are clear, and she definitely makes it clear of what she expects of you. Chapter reviews are given to keep you on your toes but not difficult. Drops lowest test score and review! She's one of the head honchos of the math dept. So you know you are getting the best of MSAC's math dept. Try to add her if you get a chance!!

I enrolled in her 8 week class, it's fast, it's clear, and you learn. She assigned, but didn't collect hw. Exam study guides are structured exactly like the exam. She's very helpful, go to class and you'll get a good grade.

Miss willaims is a good teacher but her exams are hard. She expects you to know alot and memorize all of those darn formulas. sometimes things can seem crystal clean until you get the exam and your like " what the hell". There is always about 6 pages to the exam and only about a good hr to finsh it with long word problems as well. Exams will kill!

I've had Ms. Williams for 3 classes. Math 51, 71, and 130. She is, by far, the best math instructor I've ever had. She gives the best lecture notes. She is extremely clear in her teaching methods , expectations, and grading. Take her!! :)

I took Mrs. Williams for 71 and I hated math, however, she is very clear about what she teaches. I like her because she is well Organizes, clear, willing to help you and never absent. She doesn't grade HW but she gives pre-exams that I felt are exactly like the test, she also gives Reviews that are extremely helpful, she doesn't try to trick you.

My interest in math is ZERO I only take it because I have too. Thank god for Mrs. Williams she is an excellent instructor who made an (F) student into an (A) student. What help me was the Chapter reviews and the pre-test reviews that were like the test. An amazing instructor who is extremely helpful. If your bad at math (I highly recommend her!)

This is my fav math professor by far. I just adore her!! She is like a mother when teaching. She is very clear when explaining out the reasoning behind math. She is always willing to answer any questions when needed. She hands out study guides to prepare her students for the test. The study guides are VERY similar to the ch. tests.

Mrs Williams is a great instructor she does go over the HW from the night before. The only time I have seen her get frustrated is when student don't ask questions. She really wants all her students to understand and get the Material. She will never get mad if you ask a question or if you ask her to back up and explain something. Take her she rules.

Professor Williams has a loud, clear voice, which helps a lot if you're like me, working third shift and wanting to sleep in class. She's approachable and helpful, as she's more than willing to go over things again if something isn't understood, and offers help during breaks. Study guides are given for exams, which help tremendously with test prep.

I took her math 71 class in the winter to refresh my algebra skill!, Wow!, I can't believe that I am now confident with algebra. She made algebra so easy, I use to hate math in HS(specially algebra), but because of her Algebra seems so easy for me now!, Definitely recommended if you want to have a strong foundation in algebra!!!

I had her 4 Math 71, Winter 2013. SHE WAS GREAT! Explains simple and clear. Gives homework but does not chck 2C if u did it, only 2C if u had questions from it. Gives Extra Credit, and partial credit on test if u got half right. Not tricky on test. Gives a study guide 4 Tests & Final Exam. She is perfect 4 the student that is intimidated by Math.

This class can be difficult and tedious. Paying attention, attending every class session, and doing the homework is crucial to your success. That being said, Williams is the best math professor! I loved her clarity and teaching style. She truly has everyone's best interests at heart. Take her! :D Math is my worst subject, but I did well here.

Very clear. Don't get behind in this class or you'll fail. Don't miss a day unless you're on your deathbed because she covers AS much as she can in one class session. Only extra credit is MARC hours and doing extra good on tests. Does not grade HW, test based. Does sound a bit patronizing when answering questions but overall good teacher.

Honestly, I loved the professor and the class. I would take this class all over again even though math isn't my strong suit. She's a great professor and lecturer. With anything, you have to work hard so I wouldn't say the class is easy. It's easy if you put in effort.

Professor Williams is an amazing math teacher. She speaks extremely clear, answers all your questions, and makes herself available for extra help. It is important to attend class and take good notes. Not an easy course but if you pay attention, take notes, and study you should at least get a B. An A in this class requires the extra effort.

She's a good instructor who gives you all the tools necessary to pass the course. Explains concepts thoroughly and makes sure you understand what's going on rather than memorizing formulas. She does not grade homework but be sure to do it so you don't fall behind in class. Attendance is mandatory because you'll miss a lot if you're not there.

Great teacher. She's is very thorough in explaining so if you have trouble in Math I highly recommend you take her. If Math is easy for you, then class might be highly monotonous. Love this woman!!! I had a terrible experience with math in high school, so when I took the 6-week course in the summer right out of HS I thought I was gonna suffer. But this professor is fabulous! Teaches step-by-step and is not afraid to answer any question. I wish she taught a higher math class! Definitely recommend!! :)

Professor Rivers is really great! I really wish she taught higher then 71 more often, but unfortunately she does not. Just make sure you do your reviews, which helps you reflect on what you need to go over before test. You cant fail unless youre really not trying or not doing your reviews. And, trust the reviews are easy because its current.

She goes over things repeatedly so her students know how to do the problems. There are 3 tests and many review worksheets. Everything she does in this class is directed towards helping each student pass.
