Prof. Senna is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, but her teaching style doesn't work well with quite a few students. Often the tests are rather difficult also.

When I was in school, she made this class soo interesting and is the best teacher I have ever had.

She was so tough in this class, but helped us all through it. She didn't put up with any bull, and really made us understand the subject. On a personal note, she helped me through a major crisis with my son while I was there. I will be forever grateful to her for that. I've taken her for other classes as well but this class by far has been the hardest class with her. Ethics in its self is not easy, but this class really make you take a look at your self! I did walk away from this class with greater knowledge and understanding though. Very helpful.

Intelligent, organized professor. Attendance is required for this one! Sticks to the syllabus and tells you exactly what to do to get a good grade. If you just follow the reading in the textbook and take notes on the lectures, you'll be fine. She is nice, no-nonsense, has a sense of humor. I recommend her classes, I've taken at least 3 of hers.

Perhaps because this particular class was an 'Introduction to...' orientated class, there was a already a limit to the amount of depth and diffaculty. It is possible to cheat yourself of one of an 'easy As' too. Her guidelines are fair/flexible. Just do the reading, COMPLETE the study guide(used on exams) no Final and u get an 'A'.

If you do not have ethics or know what boundaries are I would not advise taking this teacher. She knows how to keep student - teacher boundaries. I have taken her for many classes. Her internship class is not easy, but you will walk away with a great deal of knowledge. She loves for students to ask questions and meet her at her office hours.

What a kick! Senna is engaging and uses humor and interesting real life situations in her lectures. She makes learning fun. A little bit of double talk, but perhaps that's because she doesn't believe some of the material she is required to teach. Overall, she's a fabulous professor. I highly recommend taking her classes.

Ethics and Client Rights is not your typical class. Prof Senna makes this topic engaging and fun. There is a group project that is 50% of your grade, so man up and do it and you'll pass. She is very adamant about being in class on time, NO cellphones, and be respectful. She respects her students and is their "number one fan". Awesome lady!

I loved Prof Senna. She inspired me. Her class is interesting and she is smart and funny. Wish I could take her classes again, but I had to transfer. If you are a psych major, definitely come to her office hours if you have any questions. She has 30+ yrs of experience in the field.

There has never been a better, more caring and ethical professor on all of the ARC campus. Truly a "personprofessional" in every sense. Leaves her own opinions, politics and profanity OUT of it and teaches relevant topics from the heart. She lives what she teaches with no hypocrisy. I will truly miss her classes when I leave ARC.

Not only is Senna an incredible professor, her clinical experience is informative, and can help students clarify where they want to go with human services. She is compassionate, while still having a no-nonsense approach. Ask her about what it takes to work as a clinician if that's a possible path for you. If you can take a class with her, do it!

I completed her class in 2008. I often uses her quotes. Because of her I went on to get my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services. Also became a alcohol and drug abuse counselor; CADC II. Thanks Professor Senna

I took a course with Professor Senna back in 1990 and later realized she would later impact the direction I took both in education and in my career. I went in to graduate from San Jose State with a B.S. in Administration of Justice. I was then hired by the 10th largest police agency in the county, retiring after 20+ years.

I had Professor Senna in the 2008 and 2013. Professor Senna amazing Professor. I am not at a University at GCU and will graduate Bachelor of science behavior health. No words can describe how knowledgeable she is and shared her knowledge. Thank you Professor Senna Now I am entering the Masters Program! LCSW!!!!
