Her exams are EXACTLY her lecture notes (posts on Webct). Don't need the book at all. If you can memorize pages and pages of lecture notes then this class will be an easy A.

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!! Dr. Armstrong is a really easy professor!!! I didn't read the book all semester she posts all her notes on WebCT. Her tests are all 100 multiple choice questions, and it's common sense type stuff!! EASY A!!!!

Don't bother buying the book. Tests (3 of them worth 1/3 each) are straight from her WEBCT notes. Memorize those and you are good to go. Even though I got an A, I wouldn't say it's a guarantee easy A because there is a good deal of memorization. Overall nice lady.

HIGHLY RECOMENDED!! Her lectures come straight from the notes. only used my book for reference. she posted her notes and a video of her lecture on webct. if you have questions (even about drugs that you wouldn't ask any one else) she will answer with her knowledge and experiance. tests are only hard if you dont study the notes!!!

I reccommend this professor because she treats you like the adult you are. She is straight forward. She makes sure you have access to the notes and lectures on WebCT in case you have to miss a class for whatever reason. As long as you keep up with what she is lecturing about and you study, you should do well in her class.

shes a gd and easy teacher but i mean its not really really easy to make a A u have to do a lot of work and reading in order to make that grade but nice proff and its a pretty fun class if you go all the time...tests seem to get harder towards the end though(drugs and society)

I have really enjoyed her class this semester. She makes the class interesting and always tells us about personal stories. She is very open and fun.

Her class is not mandatory since she records her lectures and puts them on WebCT. She has all the notes you need, all you have to do is print them out. Just go to class and highlight what she underlines in the notes. The test are over notes and specific dates and percentages. Just MEMORIZE and your good to go. Intresting & easy! good prof. :)

Easiest class ever. went to class less than 10 times. all you really have to do is show up to the review the class before the test and then read over the notes the night before and you can totally make an A

Mrs. Armstrong is so awesome! she's a very iinteresting lady and knows what she is talking about. She wants to make class fun and enjoyable, even though most students stop going after the first week. This class is so easy. I went to class once a week and studied the day before the test and still made A's. The only thing that you need to do is study the notes she posts online. If you can't make an A in her class you're either really stupid or really lazy.

This is probably the easiest course at UTSA and she makes it fun. She posts all of the notes online along with her lecture videos. You don't have to go to class, but you'll learn a lot about the lives of drug addicts if you do decide to attend, which is pretty interesting. Don't buy the book; tests come directly from the notes. Very easy A.

She is a funny teacher explaining her life. She gives funny examples of people and drug usage. She makes a joke here and there and her exams are not as hard! all you have to do is study the notes word by word. The notes are posted on webct so you really do not have to attend class.

Drugs and Society was an easy class. Just study the notes very well as there is alot of memorization. There are 3 tests, so just make sure you can balance out your grades if you don't do as well on one. I would definitely recommend Dr. A. She's very student-friendly and willing to help you out.

She is really cool. You will like this class. You might think that you don't need to really do anything but it's smart to read the notes well so u understand. You don't need to go to class but I would most of the time just so you get a full understanding of whats going to be on the test. AWSOME professor!!

She was an amazing teacher. I deffinately suggest first year freshmen, because she will give you a good feel and help you with your first year of college. her tests are very predictable, but I still learned things (and yes, studied) that will help me with my psychology major. Her class was so much fun and I really enjoyed it! take her!!!

Decent teacher, unreliable, difficult to contact. Went to class 4 times all semester- first day and exams, posts lectures and notes online. MEMORIZE notes for exam. I got an A. We got through ch. 6 in 16 weeks. Don?t buy the book. Take with her if you have to take the class. OH, she reminds me of Jane Lynch from Role Models. You'll see!

Easy A, notes online don't buy book. If your going to do drugs you should learn about them first this should be a mandatory freshmen class and maybe there wouldnt be so many freshmen dropouts. Take this class.

Great Professor! Her class is simple and fun. Didn't really use the book. Everything that's on the test she puts on her powerpoints and in the reviews. Attendance is not necessary, but I loved going regardless because it was a very interesting class. Definitely recommend her.

Dr. Armstrong is one of the most interesting and professional teachers in the business. Her D&S class is not difficult and you will learn more than you expected to. She actually convinced a writer of our textbook, William E. Cohen (look him up), to give a guest lecture! Every American should be required to take Drugs and Society with her!

This class was very interesting. Although I wouldn't go weeks at a time, the times I did, were very interesting. You can tell she loves what she's doing. If you study the outline notes you'll get an A on the exams.Exam grades are the only grades. I got a 68 on two exams and a 92 on the last one and got a B in the class, so she curves. Awesome class

This class is pretty easy since if you miss class, she posts that day's lecture online. Also, the book is not used much unless you want a better understanding of what was talked about in class. The notes are also posted online, sometimes even one or two weeks in advanced and in class she reads over those posted notes. Pretty easy class if you care.

She is a very awesome professor. She speaks the truth about all the drugs (good and bad). She shares her own life experiences which makes class interesting. We rarely use the textbook. It's not mandatory to attend. Only 3 test and all are over the notes. Very easy grading system. TAKE HER!

This is a very easy class. We only take three test (directly from the notes) and she drops the lowest test grade. If you are satisfied with your grade on the first two test, then you do not have to take the final. And she offers extra credit.

Awesome! She is crazy, but it keeps class interesting. She drops your lowest test grade and you have 3 tests total and no outside work. No one really goes to class but it is always interesting when you do. The more experience you have in this field the easier the class will be for you. ;)

Prossor Armostrong is the best shes crazy yet gives you a in depth learning experience. 3 test drops lowest one, if you make the grade you want on the first 2 no final, class attendance isnt necessary she puts everything on bb and records lectures. Nice lady, took drugs and society with her and she seems very interested in the subject, told us most of her lectures come from personal experience. She knows her stuff its cool at first but attendance dropped from 400 to 80 after the first test. Didn't buy the book getting an 'A' without taking a final.

Print out the notes. Look them over the night before each of the three tests, and get an A. I went to three classes. She is very nice and knows what she is talking about, i watched some of her video lectures that she posts.

Pretty interesting class if you show up, and Armstrong is fun. The tests come directly from the notes, so if you can memorize about 10-15 pages or notes then you can get A's on the tests. Take it from me, do well on the first two exams. If you get A's on both then you don't have to take the final which is well with it.

If you're going to take an 8am class, make it this one. She is a great professor. Just go to class and listen to her lectures (they are interesting). You don't really need to take notes because they come straight from her lecture notes. If you study thoroughly it is an easy A.

This was one of my favorite classes this semester! Dr. Armstrong keeps the lectures interesting, and her tests are really easy if you print out the notes she provides and just go along with her in class. Honestly, don't buy the book. Tests are based solely on the notes she goes over in lecture, and the notes are online as well as her recorded lectures. There's almost no point in going to class except before tests to give you a stronger outline of what's on it. She's a very quirky professor, so even if you do go to lecture, you're in for a treat.

Professor Armstrong is a very laid-back and easy-going instructor. Class is not difficult, and with such a large amount of students, attendance is not mandatory. However, she does take advantage of iClickers, so in order to receive points, you have to go. She drops one exam grade out of three, and the final isn't cumulative. Interesting and easy.

Super easy class! She uses the iclickers a lot more now so make sure you have all the points you need. Dont buy the textbook all her test for straight from her notes. Only time the textbook was used was for online quiz even then you could just google the answer. Take her if you can

She is very interesting and lively easy A go to class for !Clicker questions 30 in total if you miss a few you can still make them up at the end of the semester. 3 Exams and one gets dropped so if your first two are good you do not need to take the final. Probably one of the easiest classes I've ever taken in college. All you have to do is show up to class for I-Clicker points. Has 2 tests and a final. Drops the lowest test. Gives out a review sheet for each test and HIGHLIGHTS EXACTLY what you need to know. Her tests are exactly like her review sheets. Easy A if you have a good memory.

I loved her class. She posts EVERYTHING on black board, including power point, class notes, and highlighted notes for studying. It is hard to fail this class. She gives SO many chances for points, not many tests, online quizzes that give you multiple chances which are easy grade boosters! I only used the book once and her lectures are hilarious!!!

Armstrong is so funny which makes her lectures and the entire class interesting. Uses ickickers as attendance, multiple answer quizzes with three tries for each, and 3 tests and she drops your lowest one which means you can skip the final if your other tests are good. Best professor I've taken :-)

Armstrong is a genuinely sweet woman. Her class is not hard as long as you do her work and study her notes. 2 test, a final, about 12-15 online quizzes, and in-class questions via-clicker. Loved Her.
