If you need speech of some kind as a pre-req, you have GOT to take her class. Do the homework, do the outlines for speeches, do practice every night before you give it. She is totally awesome in making you feel at ease in presenting your speeches, I've never felt more comfortable than after taking her class! You'll love it and her!!

Nicest teacher I've ever had, she makes is easy for anyone to give a speech, even those who are terrified (like myself). The tests are easy and she lets you use the book, lots of writing assignments, but none are hard. All in all the class is not very time consuming, you can have a life and take this class.

Great teacher!! I took an 8 week online class and it was fairly easy!! She was always very willing to help with any questions you had and she always gave individual feedback on assignments. There were 3 speeches that you could either go on campus for of submit online by uploading to youtube. Loved her and would definetly recomend her to anyone!

Online course/Approachable. There'll be quizzes (easy), as long as you've skimmed the book (you'll need the book). Practice your speeches, and if you're submitting online, give yourself at least a day ahead of time to record it. Something will ALWAYS go wrong recording it. Be professional (ex: not in the bathroom, lighting). She's lovely in person.

There's three speeches you have to make, quizzes, and a couple assignments. I forgot about an assignment, turned one in late and still ended up with an A in her class.

This is a wonderful class!!!! The expectation for this class was clear from the start and it was easy to get the work done. There are only 3 speeches and they are alot of fun. Taking this class actually helped me decide that I want to minor in Communications. You have the option of uploading a speech online or going in class. I suggest that you go in class.

If you fail this class you should be embarrassed. Easiest A I ever got, first time in college. All you need to do is participate and give your speeches. My first college professor and I loved her! She loves to tell stories about her life and they're funny. She offers extra credit, up to 20 points, you'd be silly not to take the offer. She takes grades in class most days based on the lecture so you need to show up. For the first part of the class you watch and write about short TED talks, there are only 2 speeches and you can choose your topic!

READ! You will have to record 2 speeches and post a link so your peers can critique it. Only 1 chance for each quiz. About 20Q each with 1 hr time limit.

Took in the summer session, only two speeches both are due the last two weeks of the course. Weekly tests which are 15-20 questions long. All questions are from the textbook. She grades easy and gives feedback on the speeches. No drafts or outlines of speeches required.
