Avoid this Teacher!!! She only logs on to the classroom (WebCT) twice a week ~ takes 4ever to answer questions, and not very nice about it either! I can't quit kicking myself for taking a class with this "professor". I have made a personal pledge to check this website before ever signing up for another college course. I have read the other ratings on Ms. Bradford and I fully agree with them. Do not take her courses. She is AWFUL! I take FULL responsibility for what I have written here!

Three words: worst class ever. I have never taken a worse class in my life. 15 minute quizzes and the answers are often irrelevant to the chapters, essays are not even graded by her and crazy responses that contradict. Exams are impossible to pass. She is one of those teachers who think her class should be harder than it should. PLEASE, DO NOT TAKE

Do not take! Each of the 14 timed quizzes have 20+ pages of handouts PLUS the chapters in the book to study! And when you are done... she won't tell you what you missed. There are 3 midterm/final tests that have NO STUDY GUIDES. You just have to study the 20+ pages of handouts and 20 book pages for each of the 6 chapters on the test! DO NOT TAKE

This woman will make your life miserable.The quick quizzes will be the least of your worries. The ESSAYS are insane.I gave her what she asked for and got an F! Do NOT take this class. SO STRESSFUL. Quick Quizzes ask some of the most detailed questions, BUT if you type the chapter title in search, quick quiz answers can be found. She grades papers so awful, I e-mail her after every one to prove my 'mistakes' or 'errors' were not mistakes at all. She takes forever to respond and isn't clear about hardly anything. DON'T TAKE!!!!

I am currently taking this course and just recieved my first ever F on any paper. I take school pretty seriously, so for her to put me in tears because she feels with her degree that she can belittle students is a problem. She is unclear on what she wants on her essays, and gives F's even when you give her what she asked for. I despise this prof.

Very Horrible Instructor. Not clear on how she wants some assignments although she thinks she is. She does not respond to questions in a timely matter either. Very left leaning instructor and material. A lot of her quiz questions are incoherent. Would not recommend taking her online class at all.

This is one of the most confusing classes I have ever taken! She takes a topic that is not at all difficult and stresses you out until you are confused as heck. She thinks she is giving you detailed instructions on assignments, but she doesn't. If you are not a professional writer, don't even bother taking this class. I received my first F ever!

Hardest teacher I have ever taken. Gives no study guides to any of her tests and grades her essay's very strictly. I advise NO ONE to take her. When leaving comments on my essay's she was very rude about them and made me feel/sound stupid. If this professor is your last resort I advise you to go to a different campus!

On several of my papers she didn't pay attention and gave me a grade after reevaluating she would change my grade; a WHOLE letter! She is very unclear on her WA's, telling you she wants something when she actually wants something else. She insists that you know APA when she doesn't know it. I have received an A on every paper,until this class.

WORST INSTRUCTOR EVER! The lack of clarity is mind boggling, and makes one wonder if she even understands what she says. Questions submitted via email and open discussion board concerning class go unanswered for weeks. While the opportunity for WA rewrites is an option, it has been over a week since we turned in the last one(no feedback). AVOID HER

Her papers are impossible. Her directions are unspecific and random. She cares more about format than content. Her quizzes are unclear and timed too closely. Even with a book you are scrambling. WORST class I've EVER taken. 010 recommendation.

Terrible teacher. For WA assignments, you cannot include commentary after using an outside source because she will say it is opinion. Quizzes, WA's, and DBs are hard. Do not recommend the class for anyone who has their own opinion and needs feedback. I don't recommend taking her is you're use to A's and B's. Only gave 1's because couldn't give 0.

The writing assignments are very difficult and hard to follow. She is also an extremely harsh grader. If you put as much as a trigger word for an opinion she will deduct points. The weekly tests are difficult too. You must read the chapter and be able to answer 10 fill in the blank questions within a 15 minute time frame.

Weekly work isn't bad, but she grades the papers so harshly. I've never gotten lower than an A on a paper until this class. She considers everything to be "opinion", even when it is facts. If you say something that is just common sense, she considers it opinion cause you don't cite it. Does NOT grade on content. Worst professor ever! Don't take her.

Timed weekly quizzes that are fill in the blank. You get 15 minutes for 10 questions. Five writing assignments, although I received a 100 on three out of five of the assignments, she is very belittling in her comments and comes across snarky and rude. There are 4 tests, all of which are proctored. Stricter grading than writing classes.

Quizzes and tests are fine, but writing assignments are the worst. She is an insanely strict grader and anything factual you put in the paper, and I mean *anything* factual, must be backed up by a source. You will need a citation basically every other sentence in order to get an A. Even then it is hard to tell what needs to have a source.

She is a HORRIBLE and I mean DREADFUL teacher. She has ruined my academic spirit. Not only has she ruined my grades, she has ruined my motivation and my confidence. I know how to write and use APA. She doesn't use APA correctly. She makes you as a student feel stupid and as a teacher that goes against the whole philosophy behind teaching.

Avoid this teacher! She takes forever to response to emails and when she does, I was told read syllabus because "she doesn't want to give away the answer." Requires papers to have facts (with sources). No source, she says it's opinion and takes points off. Every test is proctored. Weekly fill in the blank quizzes, 15 min time limits (not enough).

Neglects class and doesn't submit grades in a timely manner. I would definitely never take this teacher again. Expects citations at end of every sentence rather than at end of material used from that source. Unclear about how she wants things to be even though she writes it all up herself and creates "outlines" then says paper is an F if followed.

Not a very good teacher at all. Very rude and belittling in her feedback and she knows NOTHING about APA format even though she requires it for all three papers. Tests are incredibly difficult and have zero relation to the study material. I would not take this teacher even if it was a last resort. Wait to take it with a different teacher.

Writing papers for this course was terrible. Papers are step by step with future turn-ins locked. You can't move forward until she has examined what you've turned in, which takes too long and likely leads to you having to redo it. Never in my life have I heard of revising draft 1 and resubmitting as draft 1 instead of draft 2. Too much time wasted.

This class is ridiculous. I can study this class every single night and still can not get more than a 60 on a test! She doesn't include the answers after quizzes so that you can learn the correct content- I an unsure if she truly follows APA format. She gives you 15 minutes to take a 10 question fill in the blank. Waste of time! I wanted to learn!!

My problem is when you take quizzes, you're shown what you missed but not told the correct answer. Even after rereading and using Google,if you don't know, tough luck. Quizzes are only 15mins vs some other classes where I have an hour. Fill in the blank. Not multiple choice. I hate this class. My first course my first time in college.

There's a quiz every week, three proctored exams AND a research paper. I have never worked so hard in an Am. Gov. class. She made it difficult, more difficult than it needed to be. I ended up having to take the class again for grade forgiveness. RUN FAST AND RUN FAR!! spare yourself.

I read the negative reviews, but still wanted to give the prof a chance. Had to withdrawal in order to save my grade. I am a straight A student, and she gave me a D in the class. Listen to the other reviews and DO NOT take this prof. Tests very hard. Quizzes all on quizlet. Grades discussion boards wayyyy too hard even if theyre good.

She was my online professor and she took almost 3 days to respond to anything I sent her. She didn't give constructive feedback, she usually just said it wasn't what she was looking for and thats it. Also, all of her exams are proctored so be prepared to study really hard, but she never said what to study, so get ready.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS !!!! Tests are 60% of your grade, research paper 25% (grades harder than a COM teacher), quizzes 10%, discussions 5%. You have 3 proctored 50 question tests, 14 quizzes, 7 Discussions (they're hard). She's a tough grader and I suggest you run now. I'm normally a straight-A student but I have a D in this class!

HARDEST CLASS ON EARTH!!! I have an F in this class and it is taking me forever to bring it up. I wouldn't recommend taking this class. It's hard work and it is hard to bring up that grade. ALL of the exams are proctored! Just don't put yourself through unnecessary stress, choose someone else. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE!

By far the worst professor I have ever had, and I really do not complain about professors. Graded so harshly and erratic that I knew I had to withdraw. Gave her a heads up and she ended up kicking me from the class instead to get back at me, which would have ended my financial aid. Had to get provost involved. Did not end well for her. DO NOT TAKE!

Please do yourself a favor and read the MAJORITY of the reviews and make up your own mind. I have an almost 4.0 GPA and zero history of dropping classes....I did this one. MAJORITY of the reviews will tell you all you need to know. If I could rate 0, I would.

This professor is setting your self up for failure. You don’t know what to expect on the quiz or the proctored tests. Assigns videos to watch. Power points are taken directly from the text book website. No feedback on quizzes or test. Points deducted on discussion with no or minimum feed back. Very lazy professor not interactive at all.

Please, Please, Please. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I am very good at history and have always done great at these sort of subjects, but this class is something that you do not want to take with her. She says none of her students get anything right. She also does not care about any of your grades, and she adds stuff after an assignment has been posted.

I'm a really hard worker but I dropped this class within two weeks of starting. Her weekly tests are proctored and give you 45 mins for 45 questions. Expects you to know material from memory. Discussion posts are 100 or 0 and she expects you to know APA. Was kind enough to let me withdraw without a fight but she sets you up to fail. Don't take her.

It's just no. I dropped the class. This class which gives only 15 minutes for 10 questions or 45 minutes for 45 proctored questions was a no for me. I felt unbearable stress. I will be graduating with a 4.0 GPA and felt like this class was a setup for the student's intentional failure. If you value your GPA, sanity and happiness just say no.

if you need to take this class register with a different professor. do not recommend anyone else wasting their time. if there is no other option at the time wait to take this course.

Was horrible oh my god- I love the topic but this class has made me grow so much hate for it it's insane. She doesnt teach, just post 3 minute youtube videos for us to watch, no notes for tests, nothin. We never even used the textbook that we HAD to buy. Waste of time, money, and horrible for your mental health.

Dont take this course.If you want a teacher that actually teaches, this professor is not for u. If you have the time every week to write 800-1500 word papers and receive rude criticism, then this class is for you! She literally just posts a link to an article and makes you write a review. She doesn't post videos/lectures, nor does she post lessons

Professor deemed that the first assignment regarding questions about the syllabus was far too unoriginal due to quoting the syllabus itself. The assignment was five questions about how grading and assignments were to be done according to sections of the syllabus but were not allowed to have information from syllabus and required intro/conclusion.

I would NOT recommend this class whatsoever. The professor was extremely harsh on grading and assignments were vague in instruction. The only form of learning material was YouTube videos and articles. It was not enjoyable in any aspect and felt like a chore to complete assignments.

Huge workload that teaches very little on the subject. Harsh grader, will take off points for things not in the rubric. She was extremely strict, class has 1 research paper, but each assignment feels like a research paper.

If you want to do so much work while taking 4 other classes this class, want to have papers on top of papers to do, and have the strictest grader then this class is for you. She gives you the teeniest tiniest feedback and will never give you points off of every assignment. Her class barely prepared me for my civic literacy exam.

This professor is absolutely horrible. Every week, you will read an article and write a paper on it. Her discussions are essentially another research paper. She will ALWAYS find a way to take points off. There is no teaching. The class is just "here's an article, write a paper" every single week. The instructions are always vague and misleading.

Her syllabus is a maze and is unclear. She grades harshly, for example, in her syllabus she mentions a to be a strong advocate on college level writing yet she makes you use hyper links within the text instead of siting your sources. Took 10 of 50 points off my 950 word paper because “It didn't meet the 400 word minimum requirement”.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I would have rather not received any credits this semester than take this course. Worst class and worst teacher I've ever had. Discussion each week is a weekly research paper that has misleading guidelines. Nothing will get you full points on any assignment. There is absolutely no way to learn anything from this teacher.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Professor does not care if you succeed. Standards change for each assignment despite having same rubric.Will tell you what you did wrong on paper instead of how to correct it.also goes back into assignments to deduct points after it already being graded.If you take this course expect to never get full credit on any assignment.
