People need to realize that Ms. Bush is teaching freakin' english! I think if anything, it should be one of the most difficult courses in school. Who wants to be illiterate! She is one of the best teachers on campus! Take her!

You should take her...she is very nice and helpful...yes she does grade hard on grammer....but that's life...I'm terrible at grammer and still made decent grades.

Ms.Bush is a good teacher, but i find the class times pointless because we talk about the same subject for the entire class time for two and three days

She is a great teacher! She will help you with your papers and the discussions in class help you with ideas. She does grade a little hard but what do you expect in an english class. She is doing it to help.

I really liked her personality, but she is a very hard grader on papers. I made easy A's in 131 but only pulled out a C in her class. But fix your next paper and your grade will improve. She's nice and open-minded, which always helps.

we brain storm every time we meet for our paper which helps alot. she is understanding and real she never goes around the subject shes always sraight forward about EVERYTHING. just to worn you, she gives everyone no higher than a C on papers.

She is a great teacher. I am not a very good writer, but I still pull out a b on my papers that I write. You write papers back to back. Once you turn in a paper, that same day, she gives you the next topic for the paper. Definitly take her even if you suck at writing.

I had a hard time writing papers in high school and even struggled with them to this day, but came out with a b average in this class. she curses in class,so if you don't like that than don't take her but she is very helpful and loves english. u watch movies.

VERY HARD, STAY AWAY, SHE PLAYS FAVORITES IN CLASS AND GRADES IMPOSSIBLY HARD. My mother is an English professor in San Antonio and she edited every one of my papers with me and never got higher than a C, my mother had a PHD in English, Ms. Bush certainly does not!

Easy class, didnt really learn anything though! Wrote a lot of papers but very open on topic and she grades fair! I liked her a lot as a prof and she is nice and funny! Just don't take her if you want to really learn anything other than writting papers

She doesn't give A's. She's so incredibly nice, but I wouldn't recommend her. If you are somehow in her class, check your grammer on your papers all the time. Comma splices will kill you. My strategy was not to use compound or complex sentences. I pulled off a C.

This class is hard, but if you take her critiques and go to her office for help she will help you improve your grade each paper. Unlike some people say, she does get As, as I recieved an A for my final grade.

Ms. Bush is a great teacher. I learned a lot about my own writing style in her class. She grades off of your ability or what she thinks your ability should be based of your first paper. She only wants you to inprove.

This class was not hard, but it did require a lot of time. She is very helpful when you do not know what to write about. She is a fair grader. You will have daily assignments; as long as you do your daily work, you will get a 100. I would recommend taking her class.

Class was great. READ THE BOOK!! The tests are based off of lecture, which covers the material in the book. She tells you the questions that are on the written exam so you can practice before the exam. Daily quizzes and 4 tests...not bad.

This professor has been a bit tough, but she wants her students to do well in her class to the best of their ability. Mrs. Bush has been my professor for English since I been at SFA. She's tough, but you will know how to write a paper when you leave her class!

This teacher is pretty easy! Just write a half page response to homework sometimes that is easy to BS. She dosnt teach much but tells stories in class. They are intresting if you listen or if you wanna sleep you wont miss much at all. I recomend her...

Really awesome lady. Makes myth funny and usually entertaining. Hard grader and hard tests. You basically write 6 essays in 2 hrs. You will NOT do good on the first exam- you have to figure how your writing style meshes with her grading. Only 1 essay, 3 exams, and many quizzes. Quizzes are easy(usually 120pts).BUY THE BOOKS,unless you like failing.

This is not a hard class. Go to class, listen, and read the assigned material. You don't necessarily need the textbook if you have internet access for reading assignments. You CANNOT make an A on her papers, does not think there is a perfect paper, but does grade fairly. Enjoyed the class; gave great insight into the reading assignments.

Ms. Bush was extremely helpful and will to explain any confusing material- especially poetry. The class itself wasn't all that difficult. 3 major papers, a midterm, a final, and weekly quizzes that you can make up to 120 out of 100 points on. And if you have perfect attendance/ no tardies, you get 2 points added to your final grade!

Very hard teacher. English is not my subject at all. I don't know if I'd recommend her or not. She's just hard and talks the whole time in class. Very boring!

She is a great, down to earth teacher! Her class felt like a book club! You read the story and in class, we would discuss the story. The quizzes and test are straight from the stories and most people in the class made a B on all of her papers. She does not mind helping and explaining. I enjoyed her class.

This teacher is the best I have ever had in SFA! She is extremely helpful and made the class very easy and more important interesting for all. She would work with you if you had questions or concerns. The books we read, were super fun and easy to read. I promise you, you will love this class with her and fall in love with Mythology! It pretty much impossible to receive a grade higher than a B in her class she is a good teacher and she is willing to help you, attendance is mandatory, she takes role every day, but she give you alot of chances to gain extra credit points through the semester

This class is hard. She expects you to read every day. The quizzes are directly from the reading but can still be confusing. But she wiil work with you.

She is a great teacher! Had her for Summer II, and she understands that there wasn't enough time to get into more detail, but she knows what she's doing! She relates to the students as much as she can, due to her being some what older, but she makes the class fun! Highly recommend her!

She is super funny and she enjoys talking to her students. She loves what she does and is very good at it.

There are daily assignments practically every class. She's obviously an East Texan, but she has an open mind about every subject.

I had Bush for mythology and I really enjoyed her class. You can tell she knows the subject. You have a midterm and a final exam. She also has you write response papers like twice a week to make sure your reading. She grades them easily. Write down the prompts she gives you in class because they will be on your exam. Gotta work for the grade!

This Professor is a really sweet lady, who honestly knows ALOT about MYthology. The first couple of weeks can be rough because she teaches about creation, and since there are so many theories, be prepared to write in different colors, otherwise your notes will look pitiful. As she moves deeper into the class semester, read the book to stay on topic

Professor Bush was definitely the best professor I could have my first semester of being a college student. She truly cares about students and their grades. If you participate and get to know her grading process, life will be so much easier for you. I would 10/10 take her class again. I would take her again if she had a 132 class.

She is great and very helpful if you go to her office hours. There is a lot of reading but if you like myth then you should be fine. She give extra cerdit for coming to class but it is only 2 points. There are only two test but she give all the information in class to pass them. Take good notes and any one can do good in this class.

Very hard professor, but she's also really good. There are essays almost every night on top of our major essays we have to work on. She piles the work on you and grades very tough. It's almost impossible to make an A. But, I learned a lot in her class. She's also very nice and interesting.

very interesting course. lots of reading but youtube videos help. she will pass you if she sees that you are trying and participating in class discussion. can be intimidating but shes very sweet and wants to help. she wants the class to succeed so ask questions!! do not wait until the last second to study. there are a lot of names to memorize

She's funny and puts modern spin on the stories when she goes over them in class. However, she makes you get FOUR BOOKS and assigns readings from them every class. Lots of mini essays. Not too bad overall.

Professor Bush is a straightforward professor. At the beginning of they year she basically tells you how the final and semester exam are gonna be. On top of that most of her daily grades come from quizzes and short answer responses that come from readings so read! Lectures tend to be hard to keep track of occasionally, grades returned Mondays.

She is great when it comes to Mythology! She does require you to read a lot but its all interesting; if you don't read then you'll be lost the whole class. Classes are a requirement, don't come to class and she'll start counting off. She does give out somewhat tough exams but just read. QUIZLET and SparkNotes are lifesavers for this class.

Dr. Bush's mythology course isn't easy. You have a few papers, daily reading and a quiz every week to make sure you're reading. Her lectures are VITAL to understanding the class and passing so make sure you don't skip/ aren't tardy and she'll add 2 points to your final grade. There was a lot of reading and writing but nothing really hard. By far the BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD. (and im a science major)She creates a safe & inviting space for students to have an interactive lecture, wont move on from a subject until everyone understands. There was a project but it wasn't hard and she grades easy. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

I LOVED this class. This was a mythology class that was fully online. Dr. Bush made the class interesting and also graded with lots of feedback. We had daily work and a few essays which she made the topics very clear. I would definitely recommend taking this class.

Prof Bush was amazing as an English teacher. I took her for mythology and she is super passionate about her class and the readings, which makes it easier to pick up on the lessons. As long as you read you will be fine! Shes a super sweet lady, take her if you can.
