Great teacher! I would never be passing this class if not for her.
She is awesome! A very good teacher.
Very good Teacher. If you study you will definitely pass.
u will fail. trust me
she is a good teacher but if ur not willing to put in the time to pay attention and study u will not do good. really pay attention to what she says in class and on the outline.she puts things different ways so that everyone can understand. at times can be boaring
She is awesome, the only teacher that gives such a comprehensive outline. If you fail you really wanted to, Because I never even had to buy the book to get an A in her class
She is a great teacher, easy to understand and explains well. You really don't have to do much additional work if you pay attention. However, she's very detailed and nit-picky. Tests are mostly taken from her handouts, but beware if you miss a class as quite a few questions are taken from what she says.
Avoid her if you want to pass.
Avoid her please, very hard teacher
If you want to pass even with a C, don't take her class. 75% of students always drop her class. Even if she explains well, the exams are always difficult and different from what you would expect. Take Joy Stewart or Reeder
Don't take her.She is a very hard teacher. She does not care. You will fail.
I took her and got an A both in A&P 1 and 2. She is hard, but once you study her notes, you will definitely pass her class. If you cannot study, please do not take her. But if you really want to learn the concepts and will study, then she is the one.
she is a sure shot for failure. avoid her if you intend to pass A&P. 'trus'
Very bad teacher, worst I taken. She does not help students. She knows her material very well but she does not help students, she is not concern with student learning the material, she does not assist you in the learning or looking for ways to help you on this. Trust me she doesn't help you...
If you do not read the material and study, any class will be hard, but she is a good teacher because she gives you notes, explains everything clearly, and her tests are straighforward and easy. She is nice and an easy grader, she gives you some bonuses on tests also.
horrible teacher just horrible. Doesn't care if you pass or not. she only care about herself.
If you are up to the challenge and are serious about learning about the human body then I suggest you take her class. She is the most straightforward and breaks down the material. The only reason people fail her class is through laziness and lack of preparation.I was dual enrolled when I had her.If a HS student can pass with an A NE one can.
Best teacher ever! She is so meticulous that you learn everything. She makes sure you understand it, great notes and then even PRACTICE quizzes. For those of you who didnt like her, grow up and just stop being lazy! All it takes to pass dibble is a little note taking and studying, what the hell else are you in college for? Highly Recommended!
Don't even think about not trying in this class. But the best thing is how much this prepares you for nursing school. I am in Psyc now, and going through GIGU was hard, but I knew so much of the foundational stuff due to Prof. Dibble. I owe a lot of my success to her. I learned how to study in there. You think its hard now...wait untill NUR!!
I have only just started her class and I have to say from day one she has gone out of her way to make sure everyone in the class understands the material and the practice tests are exactly how the real test works. Memorize your diagrams and definitions. Don't be afraid to ask any question! She's Great!!
She is all for the students understanding all the material. She will go out of her way to have everyone understand everything. She explains the diagrams and pictures really well. The real world examples she uses are really helpful. This is not an easy class so you really have to pay attention and read the book too.
She is a good teacher but if you don't have 15 hours a week to study don't ever take her. She is very meticulous. This class require a lot of studying, if you don't have time stay away otherwise will have a great F in your transcript
Amazing teacher! Anatomy is a difficult class and this teacher breaks it down so that it is soooo easy to understand!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER FOR ANATOMY ONE AND TWO!!!!!!
Great teacher!!Her reviews are basically her tests. She breaks everything down with pictures. She give exra points for silly things like if a substitue has to give us our test on a day she cant make it.If she makes a mistake on the test she'll give extra points for confusing us. She's a very helpful teacher!!
She is a really good teacher. I was terrorised the first day of A&PI coz of the chemistry I didn't take b4, but as the class went, the minimal chemistry we had to do was explained so that everything related to lecture was clear. I definitely recommend her for A&P I and II. Very patient, nice, and considerate. STUDY and u'll do fine.
She is a great professor and really knows her stuff. She gives study guides for every chapter that really helps for the tests. HOWEVER, the class is not easy unless you put in many hours of studying for her class. Other than that she's the sweetest professor and extremely caring. As long as you study study study you'll do fine in her class.
She's a good teacher.I've learned so much in her class. She's not easy. You have to study hard. She explains very well. Her reviews are very helpful. She's meticulous and comprehensive.
She is such a great professor. She explains everything very well and if you don't get to it, she wont put it on the test. In Lab, watch your spelling, I missed several answers by 1 letter being off. I hated that part, but I understand it. In the Med. field, some 1 letter mistakes can be life threatening. She is the best professor (imo) for A&P. :)
very hard teacher, explanations willingly given but still unclear very hard test please do not take if you dont have money or time to waste
This teacher is amazing! The CLASS is challenging but she tries her very best to make it simple and almost fun. She is very understanding that people would also like to keep a social life and does her best to make that possible. She is very clear about what is on the test and gives print out notes PLUS her own on top of that! BEST TEACHER EVER!!!
worst teacher ever extremly hard test please do not take her waste of time and money
She is an awesome teacher. she even gives out her own notes or emails them to you. everything on the tests comes directly from those handouts and the in class notes you take. She does not give surprises. I def recommend her for a and p !
Very Very nice teacher she gave all information but it was not clear when test time came.you must devote your life to this course if you take her. she stated 14 hr of personal study time make it 30 and you will pass
I did well in her class, but I worked really hard; definitely spent way more than 15 hours per week studying. She is a nice person. She has the highest drop-out rate of all of the A&P professors. She uses an overhead projector to teach her class, which I found boring. Only take her if you're prepared to work really hard.
Professor Dibble is very intense but extremely clear and you really learn the material. She sends outlines that are excellent for every section.
She is a very nice person and very educated in anatomy but her class was boring. she puts notes up on the projector and just re-reads them to you with a few blanks to fill in. If you do not mind driving to Davie *TAKE GREG REEDER* he is halarious and just as educated if not more so!
Such a great teacher! Her class is hard but she is so thorough and her notes are exactly what's on the tests. if you are a medical major take her! You will definitely know the material by the time you leave. Emails outlines and very specific notes for ech section. Always responds to emails or phone calls to help in any way she can. Very recommended
Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful all you have to do is study from the outline and use the text as a reference...her class is boring though.
Please do NOT take her.i went by what all these ppl wrote on hear nd it is not true.i ma failing her class.if u want to spend everyday studying den take her if not don waste ur tym she so boring and doesnt even use the book her test are extermly hard and the wording is tricky so even if u noe the information you will not pass the test!DONT TAKE HER
It,damn hard if you dont study!
No clinical staff !!! Take Dr.lahlou... I took him for AP1 way better caliber !!!!!
I have taken dibble for bsc1085 and 1086. All I can say is that I have grown to love her. She is a great teacher. I am not going to sugar coat and say it is a easy a but anatomy and physiology is a hard course regardless who teaches it. if you are looking to be lazy and earn a easy A than she is not the teacher for you. But you will know the materi
I will not tell a lie. She is not difficult, it's anatomy & physiology that's hard. She explains thoroughly. It's up to you to do your part and actually READ the material and not expect it all to be given on a platter. I feel like i could be a doctor after taking her. Her test are challenging. You have to study. I LOVED HER!!
Study hard!!I got a B+ and had to work my butt off. She gives u an outline but you better read the book bc u will see things on the test that she didnt go over! She's also very big on tracing so be ready to memorize!!!
Worst experience since attending BCC and I've completed all my math and chemistry classes. I studied/reviewed every day during my lunch time and on weekends and still failed her class. Showed no interest in helping us learn. She's ridiculous! Don't know why she's still teaching. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!
Anatomy 1. She knows the material through and through, and expects the same of you. Tests are tricky and she doesn't make it easy for you to pass. you have to study hard, and practically make it your life.
Excellent professor she really prepares you for the medical field you will not regret taking her class if you want to learn take her class and if you want to pass study really hard. I took her class for both bsc1085 and bsc1086 trust me always show up for class on time and follow up on your class notes she is always open for discussion .
Do not be fooled by the soft an paused voice. Niceness will not get you the grade. She is very hard to understand, does not like to answer questions and does not limit test questions from the textbook, she goes to mars to get them. Do not take her, if u want to pass AP II.
Hard, Noot only do you need to study but if you don't have a grasp on the subject mater it will reflect on her tests. She is fair by school standards and you will learn but as far as getting a good grade u'll work!
she is a very easy to understand teacher, but she doesnt make it easy for you to pass. u pretty much need to dedicate 100% of your time ONLY to a&p in order to pass. i had to drop out. i think professors should be there to help, not make the course harder.
Anatomy and Physiology is not a cake walk... you definately have to study. However, Prof Dibble makes it all the more a pleasant experience... In fact, from what I am accustom to, I think she spoon feeds her students. She is very knowledgable, caring and willing to help. Dont take her class if you want a free A. You have to work for it.
Absolutely excellent professor. She isn't easy, as said, but she gives the students EVERY resource, and beyond, to succeed and get an A. Had her for AP 1 and 2, A's in both, and not only is she an excellent professor but a wonderful and understanding person. If you want to know the material, and how it applies to your life, take her!
She cares about her students, but if you are not prepared and study 15 plus hours, you will not pass. also, she does outlines, but she finds information in the book to put in her tests that she does not go over in class. trust me, take Dr Asad or Amin instead!
A&P is a challenging, subject. If you really want to be prepared for a health science program, take Prof. Dibble as she will teach you the basics plus the critical thinking you'll need. She is thorough, gives great notes/lect, avail to help. Take seriously her rec. on how/how much to study. Add'l books/software she suggests are very helpful.
She is very good at teaching a very difficult course, AP2. I learned a lot, and will need it as I move on into healthcare. I strongly recommend her lectures if you can get in. She does not give grades away, she expects you to earn it and challenges you. Probably the best professor I have come across at Broward College.
She is very fair. Dibble is a very precise teacher, everything is organized and she explains things thoroughly. She alwaysss asks if there are any questions. Its a bit comical after a while. She gives handouts, know all of that material for the test. She gives reading assignments which probably represents 5 of the 55 questions on the test. There ar
Love her!! Had her for A&P, She is so helpful and explains concepts so well so that you can understand them. Goes out of her way for her students!! Take her if you can!
Great teacher! Explains until we all understand. Always prepared, knows her stuff, always dresses professionally.
Great teacher! Very helpful. Always prepared, knows her stuff. Hard course, but we need to know this stuff for nursing.
I had her for Lecture. She is very knowledgeable, but for me her tests were very hard. I studied my butt off & ended up with a C. Not good for applying for the RN program. She knows her stuff, just some info did not coincide with the book. Use a tape recorder!! Must devote 15 hours to studying & print lots of handouts!!
Professor Dibble, is an excellent professor, crystal clear and very hard! I enjoyed her class and stayed all the way to the end even thought I got an F. She know everything! She is a great professor for the advance student that get it right away she will not waste your time. She is a very stylish lady like a Ralph Lauren model and great hair too :)
Professor Dibble was AWESOME!!! Loved her class she did a great job at teaching the material. The class is a challenge but if you come to class, study, and do your work you'll get a good grade. She knows alot about the body and is great at explaining stuff.
Does not stay on track with the syllabus, knows her stuff but in class she explains how to get from point A to B, then on the exam the questions are "So we're at point B, pit stop at C, jump over D, how do we get to A?" Exam questions are unreasonable and you can study your butt off and still barely make a C.
This professor is very hard! I am an "A" student and I could barely pass her class. She explains things in class so you can understand them and then when the tests come it is nothing like what she explained. If you have a chance to take another teacher for AP then do so, this one is ridiculous.
she is an outstanding teacher if you want to learn the materal well, especially being this is important for nursing school that you know your anatomy, but as far as tests go, it's way harder than you think. quizes are straightforward, but it's impossible to get a A on the midterm or final. So you better make sure you get A's on quizzes ONLY!
Took her for A&P Lecture. She's a very good professor. She wants you to learn, and the material is hard. There is a ton of studying. You need to print out her handouts and buy a book on Amazon, its an older version. Her midterm/final are not cumulative. theres a quiz every class. she drops the lowest 8 quiz score. YOU HAVE TO STUDY!!
Dibble is what you hope for in a college professor. She teaches like youre in grade school, breaking things down and ensuring your understanding. She is knowledgeable, approachable and always willing to help you! Im not the best student and still pulled a B! I wish I had her for AP1. You will need to purchase a clicker for her class.
She expect you to fail. Unlike other good teachers I had whom have shown patient and understanding, she is nothing like that. She will not help you to succeed and she can be very negative.
She is the best teacher for this subject (and 1086). She creates hand-outs that correlate with quizzes and exams, and goes through EVERYTHING with you. If you have a problem or don't understand something, she has no problem helping you during or after class. Just a great teacher.
her quizzes are tricky!
Professor Dibble was an excellent professor. She was always there to help the students, and really cared for her students. I highly recommend her.
I just finished her A&PI course with an A on the final and an A in the course. It is possible, but you WILL have to study and make sure you understand the material. Simple memorization will not help. Quizzes can be tricky, which is where the studying comes in. If you don't get it, tell her! She will help you! If you don't pass, it is all on you.
I don't understand why there are so many smiley faces here. She makes the course harder than it has to be, do your gpa a favor, take someone else.
This is college people!! GROW UP and take responsiblity. You HAVE to study, Professor Dibble is excellent. She's willing to help you in every way possible. She's not here to give out free A's you need to study study study. I recommend attending every class, it helps! I love her class and I'll be taking her again for A&P2.
Hard subject, great Professor, and a wonderful person. She will explain until you get it. You have to study and read the book. Her lecture handouts are very helpful, tests are fair and clearly worded. She is very thourough, you will thank her when you're in nursing school or any other health care program. She is one of my favorite teachers by far.
Professor dibble definitely knows her materials, she is a sweet lady and she does help anyone that ask her for help but she does make anatomy harder than what it is. What you study for , most of the time its not on the quiz or test.
Uses a lecture guide, you fill in while she lectures.Studyguide is useful for weekly quizzes(give you plenty of opportunity to raise your grade, the midterm/final gade can replace missed quizzes too).Tough material, but she's always in her office hours& very nice and in depth to explain things, good teacher, clear, passionate.I am re-taking her for A&P2!
She is actually not a bad professor, this is just a class that requires a lot of studying. She uses a clicker, so buy one. Print the notes and study. Quizzes are done at the beginning of class; so be on time.
how can i put this in plain words, ok she's the best teacher you will ever have in teaching you anatomy, but the worst teacher when it comes to her exams. quizzes may be easy but her exams...expect a,b,c,d,e choices, while some answers maybe a and b, but not c, or a, and c only, or none of the above, so expect it to be tricky as hell! i got A tho
She's not a bad teacher, just that her tests are hard. Yes try to take someone else if you can. She should be a "last resort" kind of teacher
I had Ms. Dibble WAY back in 1991. I still think about her. Shes the best damn teacher I ever had. Not surprised that she's still rated so high. Wonderful person, and teacher. Helpful in class, and her office. GREAT. A++++
She is a good teacher and extremely knowledgeable. You have to understand the concepts because she will test you on those things!!You can't just memorize and expect to get a good grade. I got an A in her class, but let me tell you something, I had to earn it. Some people say she is tricky. Well, she is only tricky if you don't know the material.
Professor Dibble is a very kind woman and extremely knowledgeable. The quizzes/tests are very challenging so know your material. If you have questions she is accessible for extra help and wants her students to succeed. Be prepared to study around the clock!
I wouldn't recommend anyone to take dibble unless you were in her Anatomy1 class. Anatomy2 with her was very challenging. She speaks slow and tries to make sure you understand in class, but when she gives quizzes she words the questions so differently thats its as though she wants you to fail. Pick someone else !!
Unless you recently completely high school stay away from Dibble. Not easy. Her exam are nothing like you study for. Take another teacher. She is brutal to your grades. She is wickedly nice. DO NOT TAKE HER.
Extremely knowledgeable. I wish I would have taken her for A&P 1. She is by far the best professor I've had.
This Professor is very nice and very helpful. She cares for her students and encourages you to come see her if you have any questions, during her office hours. She speaks slow and makes sure you understand the material. Her quizzes are hard, so make sure you know your material. Very demanding class.
Prof Dibble is one of the best! The interest she has in her students to succeed superseded my expectation. She always encourages us to come to her office during office hours if there is something we are struggling with and we should not hesitate to do so. Wish there were more professors like her. Cannot wait to start A & P 2 next semester!
Easily the most difficult class I've ever taken. She teaches on a middle school level, but the tests are so difficult a doctor would be scratching his head at the "riddles" passed off as questions. Unless you have the entire semester devoted to studying for her, RUN!
Prof Dibble is the most patient, most helpful professor I know. She takes a personal interest in making sure students enjoy her class. If you are very serious about learning the subject and want to have a good grade, she is the professor to take. You have to be willing to learn and be ready to put in the time.
Professor Dibble was so great I'd take her again for other classes if I could. She was very helpful and actually taught. She does not make you feel dumb for not knowing stuff so I was able to ask any question I needed to without feeling embarrassed. The class requires a lot of studying but really what class of this type doesn't.
The good thing is she doesn't make you feel dumb when asking a question and gives 2 extra credit questions at the end of each quiz. She talks really slow which makes class super boring. So I barely understood anything in class. She explains well but quiz/test are hard and tricky. Take someone else!
Prof Dibble will be missed. I had her for A&P1 and 11 and I have really enjoyed coming to her classes. She ensures that you know your material. It's up to you to do your part. Nothing in life comes easy. Her style of teaching is preparing you for the future Take her!
Nice teacher but I would not recommend her. Take someone else if you can.
OK, Mrs.Dibble is very knowledgeable in the subject. It is a very hard class, study her notes and read the book she assigns and you will pass!
Prof. Dibble is nice. Her test on based off the lecture guides that she makes up. Sometimes she offers bonus questions on test. 5 tests in total are 70% of your grade while the other 30% is mastering a&p assignments. She does not drop test grades, however she does drop 3 of your lowest grades from mastering a&p.
She's super polite and easy to talk to. Make sure you study for her tests because they are tricky.
AMAZING! MUST TAKE!!! She knows what she's talking about, I'm taking her again for BSC2086 next semester.
I took Professor Dibble for BSC2085 and took her again for BSC2086. She is a great teacher and thoroughly goes through each lecture guide to ensure that you understand the material. BSC2086 is a hard class but if you do the mastering a&p assignments and read, you will pass.
Do yourself a favor and RECORD HER LECTURES! I cannot stress this enough. I played it over and over again, thats what helped me pass. She is excellent. Seriously. Take her.
Mrs. Dibble is so far the best professor ever. Before I had two different professors for anatomy . and definitively she is the BEST. Every test is critical thinking but she do really prepare you for that . Extremely helpful. If you go to her office she will help u to understand everything and will explain the material very polite. I ended with "A"
I've heard great things about Prof. Dibble and that is why I took her. Unfortunately, she is not what I would expect. It is nearly the end of the semester and she's already missed 4 classes (no sub assigned either), is so super behind (have not learned more than half the material we're supposed to learn in the semester)... please don't take her!!
7/10 times what's on the lecture isn't what's on the test. She makes you read these ridiculously long chapters in the book and swears that the "Did You Get It" questions are on the test. FALSE. Also you have to do the homework. That alone is like 120-140 questions. Only plus I can say is that she suffers from migraines so she cancels classes a lot.
Know's how to relate the information but is very unorganized. Good teacher otherwise though.
Mrs. Dibble is kind, but very unorganized. She answers your question with more questions and puts questions on the test that were not covered in the text nor in her class. Honestly, going to class is pretty much useless because she doesn't teach much, however, attendance is required. Try to take someone else if you can.
