Deb is a great teacher. She will take time with students if they need it and will explain things until everyone understands them. Although the work is tedious and there is a lot, it only beneifts you in the end. She tells you exactly what to study on the tests. She makes Stats actually kind of fun. You'll enjoy her.

Professor Litwinko is a great teacher over all. Statistics is hard and she explains everything in a way that you'll understand. She is so good i'm taking her again for college algebra next semester. Very helpful, and pushes you to pass. Highly recommend her. 5 stars!

I had Deb for statistics fall 2010. What a great teacher. It was an on line class with tests taken at the school. I have only ever been Average in math and with help - Hers and ACE - I did really well! Would highly recomend her.

She is a really good and nice teacher, sometimes it's hard to keep up with the work if you are doing it online. If you are good at math definitely take her, if not then you have to be really dedicated to learning because it won't be an easy A. But she will try her best to get you to pass.

I had a rough time this semester with my mom passing. I missed some assignments. Ms. Litwinko personally called me on the phone to see how I was and when I could make up the missed work. She showed she cared. Its no free ride, you actually have to learn the material, but I will be looking for her again. Thanks for everything!

She is the greatest math teacher I've ever had! She is the kind of professor that loves her job and her students. She is quick to respond to questions and she is online everyday. She is a wonderful professor and extremely down to earth. Her class is a lot of work but you learn a lot You'll get a good grade if you try. I would highly recommend.

She is a really good professor. She knows what she is doing. The best part is she is easy with the grading and stuff as she understands that people have busy schedules. I liked the way she had designed the class schedule over the semester.

I took the intersession Intermediate Algebra, which is synonymous for an entire semester of math in a mere three weeks. That being said, to anyone who needs this pre-req, take it with her! She is patient, friendly, and supportive. She even helped get me into a class for Spring semester purely out of the goodness of her heart.

I've failed Intermediate Algebra 3 times before taking Professor Litwinko's hybrid course. It was a combination of mymathlab help and the professor's patience that helped me to get a solid B in this course. She's very understanding when it comes to a few missed deadlines or if you need extra time to work on a lesson you're struggling with.

I've been out of school for 2 years and I could not have asked for a better teacher to help me get back in the process. She was very understanding when I told her I work full time and was willing to work with me every step of the way as long as I matched her effort.

It was an OCLR math over the winter - It was condensed in four weeks. She helped me get through to take Algebra this spring. I really had to work at getting a C+. I have a 98% in Algebra. She is very understanding but you have to do the work...a lot of it. Do not recommend Math courses over winter break. You will set yourself up for failure.

She is the best teacher I've had. Unfortunately, I fell behind just because it was my first semester and I was already taking 5 classes, so I got stressed, and withdrew. But when I go back, because I need that class, I will take her again.. I never fully understood math and why we do things they way they're done until she explained it.

I absolutely love Professor Litwinko! She is Extremely relate-able to her students and really gets to their level when trying to explain something youre having a difficulty understanding. She is very flexible with answers on written tests and gives alot of partial credits. As far as online courses - she is very easy going about extensions.

Math is scary, but I had the fortune to be instructed by Professor Litwinko. This is why I passed. She will not move on from a topic until the entire class understands the material and is comfortable with it, reopens assignments if you made mistakes, and is an all around amazing professor. I took Professor Litwinko for math 136 after failing math 137 twice with two different professors. I passed her class on the first try. She is absolutely phenomenal. Litwinko's way of explaining things didn't always jive well with how my mind works, but she was an amazing teacher nonetheless. She understands that we all aren't math majors, and her intent is to help us get through it and find the value in problem-solving. She goes above and beyond to give you chances to pass. She was a great professor. Know what she was talking about and help you a lot if was lost.

She prioritizes your understanding and ability to apply concepts over overdue dates and minor mistakes made on tests. She will work with you to help you pass the class if you're struggling. Her sense of humor also makes class time go by quickly. The class is work intensive, but that's the nature of the class itself, regardless of the professor.

MyMathLab is used in this course which is mandatory for ALL NVCC courses. However, the professor is consistently helpful.

There is 2 homeworks and 1 quiz every week. A midterm and a final. I was struggling after the midterm and she helped me stay on track and really worked with me to get a passing grade. Im so grateful that she was my teacher. This class is incredibly hard but if you reach out to her she will help. Show her you care!

for you to pass Math class you HAVE to do a lot of practices aside from the class work. She makes sure you understands, asks if you got it. She is strict with doing weekly Quizzes. several tests(4) before the final which actually helps to understand the chapters.

She puts in 100% effort to make sure that you are successful.

I took math Summer'21, Prof. Litwinko & Mrs. Mari were great to work with. It was tough-LOTS of info to cover in a short amount of time. So, don't expect to pass if you don't do the homework; all of the problems I got on quizzes/test, I remembered from the homework-just different #s- get help in class for exams just by doing homework.

Lectures tend to move quickly, and she can be a little bit intimidating, but she is patient and will answer your questions clearly as long as you ask them. Participation in class gets her to like you but she doesn't give brownie points. Splits midterm and final into smaller exams, and grading is fair but still tough. Overall good.

She is nice but I personally don't like her style of teaching. Lectures go fast. You HAVE to speak up if you have a question. She teaches on a virtual whiteboard which is illegible most of the time. Tests are way harder than quizzes and homework. We had a sub for the first half of the semester (Pettinico) and she was awesome!

Prof Litwinko is well-prepared. She assigns a lot of homework which directly aligns with her in-class lectors. You must attend class to be successful as her lectors have a lot of important information.

Pretty easy course if you just pay attention and do the work.

Prof Litwinko runs a challenging but rewarding STATS course. Lectures are dense but valuable - stay engaged and you'll learn a lot. The workload is heavy, but using unstuckstudy for study prep made a big difference for me. Overall, a tough but worthwhile class.

She was a kind, caring human who always took the time to answer questions. I took it online with her and genuinely looked forward to her stats class. Homework is heavy, but when it comes to stats practice makes perfect. She knew how to teach and get the point across. If you participate and show interest, you will do well.
