Excellent instruction - did a great job explaining all concepts necessary to understand concepts covered in Math 1010 (the equivalent of Algebra II in high school). Funny, witty, and was able to relate concepts to real life situations. Highly Recommended - just wish she taught Math 1050.

She is so nice, and easy to understand. Her teaching concepts are very helpful and easy to remember.

Debi is great! She knows how to teach and understands math. Unlike a lot of the math department which only knows math. She only assigns homework problems that she has gone and picked to prepare her students most for the test. She tells you fun, or they could be considered crazy stories to help you remember the concepts. Take her class!

Debbie is one of the BEST! teachers that I have ever had. Math 1010 at Weber is hard and she helped me finally understand the concepts so I could pass with a B+. I took her the second time around and begged her to teach 1050. Without her I would probably still be in 1010. Thanks a million, you ROCK!!

Debbi is the perfect example of what a teacher should be. If you have math anxiety you need to take a class from Debbi...you will be cured! She definitely goes the extra mile to insure that you do well and understand.

This was my 2nd time around,I hate math!Debi made sense to me,and everyone else.She will explain the same problem 5 different ways without putting you down.She does not belittle anyone,she knows how hard math is for some of us. If you have a fear of math, take Debi. She understands we don't all learn the same way. Her teaching methods are close to flawless. If the other prof at WSU watched her,the pass rate would improve dramatically!If you want to pass the first time with someone who knows what she is doing take her. Wish there were more of her like her in the math dept!

EXCELLENT teacher!!! I wish I had her in 950 & 960. I don't have anything negative to say about her. She loves what she teachers, has fun with it, makes students laugh and doesn't make Math scary. Tells stories that relate to Math and has funny/cute terms to help students remember rules and formulas. If only ALL Math "teachers" were like Debi :)

Show up for class, don't miss class all of her notes are helpful/valuable. Very interactive teacher, class is never dull. Do yourself a favor and TAKE HER take her take her. Do the review tests and homework. She is a great teacher and I promise you won't regret it. Info isn't easy, but she makes it less scary and always willing to help students.

I have never understood math but with Debi I got it! She is so fun and so clear. She actually TEACHES you the concepts in funny and different ways to help you learn it. I highly recommend her. You will have fun and feel confidentwhen you are done.

Deb is a great teacher. She teaches in a way that is easy for anyone to get. Not condescending, and handled any complaints of concerns with care. I am going to take her for 1010 next semester. Debi McKee is the best college professor I've had so far. She's extremely helpful and funny. She always responded to my emails. If I had questions or concerns, when we would have class she came and asked about it. After I finished taking the Final she emailed me and told me Congratulations!!! I hope to get her next semester for 1050!!!

I have had Deborah Mckee for 2 classes and I love her. She is funny and outgoing. VERY helpful! Her work is challenging but she walks you through it. She responds to questions and emails very fast. She is always willing to work with you and help in anyway possible. She makes the concepts easy to understand, and walks you through the steps brilliant

Prof McKee is the best math teacher I have had yet. Yes we all hate math, and I have had my share of crap for math teachers, but Debi I found has been the best one so far! She stays with you until you fully understand the problem and she trys to connect to her classes at a personal level by telling jokes and having fun.

Debi has a great sense of humor she understands that math is tough for people. She never made me feel like an idiot even though I felt like my brain was mush in her class. 1050 is rough, I had to drop cause I was failing. But Debi is cool. You'll like her a lot. I wish I could have finished the class. But I sucked at math. I'd recommend Debi!

Even though I only had Debi for 0955, I would still go to her for my other math courses. She has a way of simplifying math to a point where it is easy to understand it. Loved her class and appreciate her help even long after taking her class.

Awesome teacher, terrible course. Math1010 is the hardest, most time consuming class I've ever taken. Prof. McKee tries to make it easier, is awesome with responding to emails. Funny, understanding, really cares about progress in course. Class is ridiculously hard. I guess that's what we get for procrastinating in high school. Good luck.

The class itself is not dependent on the teacher. Debbie still made an effort to help students as much as possible. She is great at responding to email quickly and won't make you do extra homework problems if you need a test opened up again as long as you have consistently been working through the course.

Prof Mckee was amazing! She really cares if you succeed! I took her for 0990 and 1010 and she was the only reason I even passed! She will sit down with you and make sure you understand.

I had her for 1010 too and 1050 and she rocks. She always emailed me back the same day and helped out all her students. She will explain anything you don't get. The material is hard to learn but Debi is the best possible person to learn it from. Take it from her, you won't regret it.

Professor Mckee is amazing. She was super helpful and clear. Just be prepared for a lot of homework that you will do by yourself. If you need help, Debi is always there to help you out. Great professor! I am going to take her for MATH 1050!

Professor Mckee is awesome! She usually takes about 15mins to go over the material and makes sure you understand whats going on, she reply to her emails fast and tells hilarious stories to relate the math equations into daily routines.

Math is the worrrrrst. But after i went through a semester with Professor McKee, it's not so bad anymore! She's is so kind and considerate as well as very helpful. I REALLY struggle with math and she was there with me every step of the way. She made me feel confident and i learned so many helpful things. I highly recommend her!

Debi was very helpful. She teaches it different ways so that everyone understands. I would recommend getting a study group for this class. The class is pretty tough but with a study group you'll do much better. I would recommend Debi to anyone taking math.

Debi makes math incredibly fascinating and I love how she makes everything make sense. She is very funny and incredibly patient, but she shows that she has high standards as well. I love her as a Ph.D in Math she inspired me to want to minor in math!!

There is a lot of homework, both online and hand-in, however she is very helpful and also helps you with the work in class. She is also very easy to get ahold of, and truly genuine and helpful and kind. Get ready to love your math class next semester because she is fantastic!

I LOVE this teacher. for it being math she makes it as easy as possible for you! only gives homework for your practice rather than busy work. will grade test very fair if make a simple mistake but were on the right track you'll get some points. I recommed this teacher for ANY math class. ( ive had her since 950) She is the best.

Deborah might be the best professor/ teacher I have ever had. She has energy unmatched by anyone I know, and must be channeling the energy of the sun. Gives partial credit for work shown in tests, and weekly written homework. Very sarcastic, and willing to accommodate students who have lives outside this one class.

Debi is incredible. She really does care and wants you to do your best. She sends encouraging emails about once a week, I met with her to talk about my anxiety and she was very responsive and caring. I hate math and struggle with it a lot, but Debi makes it a little more bearable

Professor Mckee is the best. Never before have I experience such a great time, while being in a math class! Not only is she willing to work with you, but she generally cares for each student and wants them to pass. If you struggle with math, or need a professor that is amazing, she's your gal.

I took her class M-Th and if you miss class you will miss out on a whole chapter. She makes math fun, super great at giving lecture and has good ways of explaining it. Tests aren't bad if you study the material. would recommend highlighters!

Deb is awesome! I got married that semester and she really worked with me outside of class to help with the material I missed. She also has her own lecture notes and that really helps you save money. She is hilarious and really wants to see every student succeed. I highly recommend her, especially if math is not your strong point.

The class is almost entirely weighted on your tests. Missing out on a day of class won't set you too far behind as long as you communicate with Debi beforehand, but a chapter is covered every day. The tests are easy if you study and grading is very fair. One downfall is she is scatterbrained and makes mistakes often while lecturing. Great overall!

Professor McKee is on the the better professors at Weber State. I would love to take every single math class with her. She is hilarious and knows exactly what shes talking about. She is never in a bad mood. She always uplifts students and pushes them to try their hardest. I cant say enough good things about her.

She genuinely cares about the students, and will help when she can. Fun way of teaching too. The class itself can be challenging; there are both online homework and textbook homework per section she lectures. The assignments must be turned in on time! Fast teaching, you go through at least one section a day! Great professor, hard class.

Debi is a great Professor, one of the real gem's I've found at Weber. You need to show up to class and work, as long as you do that she'll help you out as best as she can. She does a great job of teaching and gives helpful insight/feedback. Definitely will try to take her again for one of my future math classes. Very laid back, don't hesitate.

Norton Software is provided for all testing, homework, and quizzes. She requires notes to be taken by hand, section by section, and turned in weekly-ish as per the modules. Gives breaks around tests, and tests are all content youd see in the lessons. Finally feel comfortable doing math for the first time since Jr High with her class.

Debbie is awesome!! Shes funny, super nice, and always willing to help you out. The only thing I didnt like about her class was her reviews. Half the time her reviews were made of questions that we sent in, sometimes those questions were on the test soemtimes they werent. She does say you need the book, but I never used it. Shes great though!

Debbie is a great teacher and is always there when you need her. The quizzes in her class are all just the hw questions, so make sure to do your hw. I feel like the tests are over-all pretty easy if you know how to do them, the test affects the grade more than the quizzes, and with the quizzes, she does drop two of the lowest so that's nice :)

Debbie is an amazing professor, she takes a difficult subject and breaks it down so it is manageable. The class is test heavy but she has review days before each test that are very helpful. If you print out the guided notes before class and study those problems and the language she uses, you will do fine on the test.

Professor Deb is awesome and you can tell she loves her job and cares about her students. She wants you to succeed and if you put in the work and ask her for help when you need it then you will.

Professor Mckee is super willing to help and easy to get in contact with. Her syllabus is crystal clear on her expectations. All the math is through a canvas link, the book is online as well and is used for taking notes. Everything is laid out really nicely, I highly recommend her!

Professor Deb is a great professor with a great personality. The material is hard, but she gives it her all in trying to help you find ways to understand and master it. There is a lot of homework, quizzes, and tests, so be prepared for that. Overall my experience in this class was good, just a little stressful.

Do NOT listen to anyone who gives Debbie less than a 5 star review. She carried me through math 1010. She makes lectures really fun, makes the material stick in your head, and makes it applicable. She is willing to help if you dont agree with a grade on a test or have questions with homework 10/10 recommend. She really cares. TAKE HER CLASS ALREADY

Professor Deb was a great professor. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She is so understanding about things that most professors that I've had would just give me a zero. She is such an amazing math teacher. Helped me learn so much better and she is lenient when she needs to be. I would 100% recomend taking her classes!

Deb is a great professor and I have done a lot better than expected with her. Her lectures always help understand the material. She doesn't require attendance but it's the best way that you'll learn the content, so don't skip class. The software used for homework is also very helpful and easy to use. Her rules on test/quiz are the hardest things.

She's an excellent teacher who likes student participation. She had no mandatory homework, but that does mean the grades come almost purely from tests.

Didn't make the homework required which seemed like a good thing at first. Honestly, she should probably emphasize doing the homework more because I didn't do any of it since it was optional and totally bombed my first test.

She does a very good job at ensuring her students understand what is being taught. She also does a great job communicating in emails and will usually respond promptly if you have a question or concern. Overall, if you have to take Math 1010 then this is the class to do so.

I had never had anyone explain math to me as well as she did! She actually got me interested in it which is new for me. Not everyone learns math the same way but she was awesome for me, and is so friendly.

I'm not super great at math, but prof McKee made it so easy! I rarely felt frustrated with the material and got good scores. She is very good at explaining the material and she is really funny and caring. Homework is optional but I would highly suggest doing it!! A lot of the test questions are from the homework, plus it gives you extra practice.

Despite the large amount of work, Professor Deb is amazing. She truly cares about her students and her job. This class is a homework heavy class, and the online lectures are a little dated, but with math 950 it's easy to find other lectures online that are sometimes more beneficial. She is fast at responding to questions and will help you always.

She's a very sweet and understanding professor, though, she does assign a lot of homework I'd say on average about 10 assignments a week, which isn't a lot, but when you have 3 other classes, it definitely piles up.
