I took Debbie for both 60, and 141. I hated math before I came to her class and she helped me understand it. She is a fun teacher to be around too. Try to take her if you can. She is the best math teacher I have ever had.

i dropped another math 141 class before hers. Her class was crystal clear. She even gave you the notes. and everything on the notes was on the test.

Ms. McQueen was the first teacher who made math make sense to me but didn't make me feel stupid. She gives homework and quizzes, but it really helps with your test scores. I got a B in her class. That's the first time I have gotten a good grade in math

Debbie kicks ass. She is funny and makes math class enjoyable. She provides notes for every lecture which makes it easy to focus and follow what she is saying. She grades fair and you can tell she really likes to teach. I highly recomend Debbie

This course is very easy if you have taken algebra courses before. Her lectures are brief, but she does take the time to assist on an individual basis if neccessary. She does try to make the class fun in itself. Quizes are a great way to earn extra points

This is just a hard coures. She tries to make it as clear as possible. Types up notes for you and a formula sheet so you don't have to memorize them. HW, quizes, and activities everyday. Lots of work but she tries hard to make you understand.

she is really really really easy. She doenst really teach, sometimes you have to study yourself, but her test is VERY EASY, they are all basic stuff....take her~~

She is awsome. She is funny and the plus side she hands out the notes everyday. The only thing is I wish we did more problems on the board and maybe had the students participate as well to correct what we did wrong. Study hard for the exams because of that reason.Regardless I would take her again.

I recommend taking her, she knows how to respond to the class. She is helpful one on one and her homework seems easy considering the material it covers. Very kind woman, too.

She's really great! She takes the time to explain every problem you need and has the notes typed out for you. She also let's you work on work sheets instead of lectures and always takes enough time to explain everything. I hate math and she's got me wanted to take it again. I would take her again!

If you cannot be and "adult" then don't take Debbie. She helps you but does not hold your hand. You have to do the work yourself and she is there to teach and help not do the work for you. She really is great!

Debbie is an awesome teacher. I took her in the summer and got an A. She doesnt require lab and plenty of short cuts that make solving problems easier. Dont hesitate to take her. If you're lazy do not take her, but if you're willing to learn, shes a great person to learn from.

she's so good i wished she taught calculus. Very organized. Also lets you out early unlike some teachers thatll keep you till the lst minute.

She was the only reason I was able to relearn Algebra after letting my brain go on a 5 year Mathamatic haitus.

She's a great teacher more then willing to help and a great person all around, if you have her your almost sure to pass unless you don't do the work.

Attendance is vital to get an A. You'll need to come to class to take a daily quiz and turn in homeowrk. She is very clear and explains the matieral well. She never takes in longer than needed. This teacher is great. very easy to understand. If you have trouble in algebra,she's the 1 to make the nightmare end. Quizes are short and sweet...and you work in groups! so sit with the smart ones and you'll do great! very little calculator needed because she's a great teacher, and makes it easy to understand w.out the calc.

Debbie McQueen made me like Math. Prior to this class, I hated math because it was never explained in a way I could understand. Debbie understands how to teach non-math brained people. HW is mandatory, but the tests come from the HW...so pretty easy! She is a wonderful teacher.

Not a good TEACHER, but a cool one. Cracks a lot of jokes, but I did not learn from her. She does not SHOW you how a problem is worked, rather puts it on the board fast, and expects you to know it. I need math to be shown step by step, so it was a bit rough. Kick back class, but again, hard to learn from.

Debbie is an awesome math professor. She teaches the class very casually- and speaks her mind! Very funny, but, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Math is not my strong point, but Debbie's teaching methods made the concepts and problems clear and understanding.

I gave her a low E rating coz she doesn't want to be known as the easy teacher. She provides such a non-threatening and laid back atmosphere in her classes that it almost makes math seem easy. She's reasonable with classwork, helpful and easy going, and the tests are multi-choice. I definately suggest her, especially in the summer

Great teacher, easy to approach and very helpful. Quizes and homework are handed out everyday, so attendance is mandatory if you want to pass. There are four exams but your final replaces your lowest exam score. She hands out note packets and goes over the subjects with extreme clarity. She is also very funn and clearly enjoys teaching. recommend!

Simply put, you get what you give. Go to class! Do your Homework! Study! Ask for help! She is not hard or easy, she is not good or bad, it is Math, and thats it! Math can be enjoyable and satisfying. The pace is quick but it´s College. She´s there if you need her and ask her.

Debbie is a fabulous math teacher, her teaching methods are easy to understand and straightforward. She is always willing to help her students, and really cares. She can be rather intimidating at times, but when it comes down to it she is a real softy. I would recommend her for anyone who struggles with math.

I took Debbie for my Math 15 class. I really liked her method of teaching and I think she made the class very clear. I really enjoyed her class and I am scheduled already to take her for next semester. She is a terrific teacher.

I am the opposite of a math whiz, but was able to get an A in this class. She is strict, but lets you know in beginning what she expects from you. She's amazing at explaining things in ways that anybody can understand. Excellent teacher!

DEBBIE, is fast pace. You got to at least have basic knowledge of math if you want to pass with her. She has her own notes that you need to print out. She doesn't really ask if you understand it. Math Lab is required in her class, everyday you have a quiz, she doesn't go over hw. Basic day is turn in HW, quiz, notes(2 sections). Attendance Mandator

I had her for math 15 and I suck at math and passed with a B. She had a tutor in the class that was able to come to you if you had a question. Most of the class time you are to yourself so it is easy to get the homework done. She was an awesome teacher. One of my favorite classes

Awesome teacher, great class. I struggle with math and Mrs. McQueen totally helped me understand the homework. I'm so glad I took her class. She doesn't require MyMathLab like some instructors and she's extremely helpful if you have questions on the assignments. I'm taking MATH20 with her next semester. I highly recommend Mrs. McQueen.

Great teacher! She is very personable and kind. I love the fact she shares her outside life with her classes it makes you realize she is a human just like us. She is helpful but sometimes insulting just let that pass by. I withdrew due to health issues, but I would recommend her. She is very clear on assignments and does her best to help you pass.

Debbie is the sweetest and the most helpful math teacher I have ever taken throughout my college experience. Math is not my forte and she has helped me into understanding the concepts of intermediate algebra. I highly recommend to take her if you are not strong in math, and if you are strong at math then take her anyways.

Ncrdbly hlpful if you're not too lazy to get off your butt and walk to her desk. Notes are wonderful:precise w/o being tedious. Exams: she'll often take the hardest question in each section and place that type on the exam; get those down and you've got it, easy as cake. I REALLY recommend her; she's a challenging w/o being discouraging.

Really great teacher. She is very clear. Due to her autoimmune disorder she can miss a few days of class but at least when i had her, she missed 2 days. Just do your homework, and pay attention to lecture/ follow notes she has uploaded for the class.

Such an amazing math professor expect math homework that's due every class meeting through mymathlab. Exams are 20-30questions long. Quiz every class meeting about 5 questions. Very helpful i would definitely recommend her.

At first I almost dropped the class before going because she emailed out her syllabus and it sounded so mean and scary!! BUT I went anyways to find her to be HILARIOUS & kind. firsttimetaking alg 2 and I took the class in thesummer. I wasexpecting it to be hard,but honestly it was pretty easy. The only downfall is that there's a lot of homework everyday(4sects),but its summer school what do you expect. Theres a quiz everyday except on exam days and hw in mandatory. 12 of the quizzes are in groups. Awesome study guides

I had Debbie as a sub in my previous class. I loved the way she taught so much that I was disappointed when my teacher (who is a great teacher) came back. I petitioned for her class and got in. I almost considered waiting a semester to take another class because she isn't teaching the class I need this Fall. I highly recommend her! I suck at math!

I absolutely love her! I'd take her again and again if possible she actually really helps out a lot. I was surprised with my improvement in math. Her classes fill quickly! She's so great I'm waiting until next semester to get her again since the class is already full.

Math is a tough subject for many but this instructor made it a pleasant experience. She says about 70% of her students pass her class if you do your homework study you will pass her class. I already registered for her next math class.

Hybrid math 15 was easy and understandable, if you show up and learn or learn online through mymathlab and continuously put in effort you're more than likely to pass with at least a B. Attendance was mandatory because it was a hybrid class so you could only miss 2 classes but other than that shes helpful, kind, thoughtful,and funny at times

I took this math 40 hybrid class, so class was only once a week, best decision ever. Debbie is such a great professor and really cares about her students. You will defiantly pass if you do all the homework and ask questions. She is willing to help so ask. She gave study guides so that was a plus. I would take her class again.

The online course was very well organized. Professor McQueen emails you regularly with updates on the course and what the homework assignments are. There are two on campus tests and Professor McQueen is hilarious. She makes you laugh and relax before the tests so you're not panicking. She goes above and beyond!

Professor is the best professor i have had at this college. She is super likable and down to earth, because of this i find that all the students respect her. You can tell she cares about her students succeeding too! She is always hilarious too which is a bonus.

I took her for 2 classes (pre-algebra in spring and math41 in summer 2016). She has been the greatest influence to me in terms of math. I didn't even know what do with mixed fractions and adding like term polynomials. Now I can do that and more. I love math because of her. She is teaching trigonometry spring 2017 and I'll be attending her class :)

She is very helpful with the material and she is good at responding e-mails. Also, she is solid with clarity level. She drops one of your lowest test scores and drops your lowest quiz scores as well. Debbie is also a funny woman which make the class environment good.

I've taken her class multiple times even though I seem to have problems passing it. She is really funny, caring and wants you to do well. You have to go to class or she will drop you, no joke. There is a lot of homework and this class is very test heavy. If you fail a test you won't pass. Homework will not carry you and the extra credit wont either

I took her for math142 during the spring and she wasn't bad. She's pretty good at teaching, she's way better than most of the professors I had previously taken for math142. She uses print outs for the lecture. She also has a quiz every Monday or Tuesday. All you got to do is the homework and study and you'll pass.

I've taken Professor McQueen before and shes a great teacher, shes really funny and I like her lectures. Since then shes made a few changes in her class, she now uploads the notes on my Gateway which I find really awesome and helpful. Her tests are no longer all multiple choice; which I liked, bummer! You got to do well on the exams/HW to pass.

Debbie is honestly a really good professor and cares about her students. Make sure to show up to class for the most part so you dont miss the helpful lectures. She posts everything on canvas but explains everything more clearly in class. Definitely enjoyed the class.

I had her for Hybrid and I enjoyed it. She was only absent once but it was alright. She goes in detail when we meet for lecture. Her study guides are similar to the tests so thats great. She made math enjoyable.

She's sorta the best! She comes in with a good attitude. She post all notes online. She gives practice exercises which may seem like extra work but you do receive points. Tests are basically the same as study guide. A note care for all exams are recommended. We used Mylab and mastering to take quizzes and complete Hw. Quizzes weren't bad at all.

I love professor mcqueen i took her math 40 class last semester and i took her 141 this semester and if i can i would take her for every math class

loooooove this lady! she takes the time to make sure everyone understands what she is teaching. she does only do one problem per section but if you have any questions, shes more than happy to help. all homework and quizzes are online and the exams she lets you have a cheat sheet. if you do the work, youll pass.

Professor Mcqueen is the best math teacher at fullerton she is always there for her students, she explains and explains till you get it, she is in her office late if students need help she is a awesome professor and is there for her students 100%.
