LOVE HER! She is the retake queen! as in, she lets you retake any assignments as many times as you need to get the grade you want. She was beyond helpful and has all of the course work and power points online so you can look back at the notes. Best math teacher I have ever had!

Was scared to take this online bc I'm not the best in math, but I ended up with an A! The book made no sense, but the mathlab examples are life savers, she also posts youtube videos to help you out & she posts samples of the midterm and final. Pay attention and put the time in and you will get an A. I would take her again in a heartbeat. She cares!

She is amazing!! You can retake her midterm. You get all the time you need for homework. Honestly she is on your side trying to help in any way. Also the midterm is the only test, also the final. I would def take her again!! You would honestly have to not try at all to fail her class.

Great but hard class. If you put in the time you will make an A. She gives you a practice mid term and final that mirrors the actual exams. You can take all the homework & quizzes as many times as you want to get the grade you want. I ended up with a 100 on both the midterm and final, but I spent hours preparing. This class was definitely not a walk in the park for me, but This teacher is awesome. She cares and she works with you so much. She knows the subject is hard so if you ask for help she will break it down for you. she will also allow you to Make up work. She is simply amazing and I'm not lying. Would take her anytime.

Be prepared to challenge yourself with various math exercises. Keep up each week with the many assignments and quizzes, you will be fine. Listen, I'm NOT good in math at all and got an A. There's a lot of homework to do, especially if you take the class in the summer like me, but she's willing to work with you. She fast-responds to emails even during weekends. Definitely one of the most understanding professors I've had. Don't get me wrong, you gotta work hard for your grade.

Professor Munoz is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is very organized, responds to emails very quick, and is always willing to help. There was the usual homework assignments in MyMathLab, a few quizzes, and two exams (midterm & final). She gives you a practice midterm and final to study with and its almost identical to the test.

You have 2 required exams for the course, but the first one is more heavily weighted before the material gets super tough. She was always posting updates and asking for feedback if we needed any help. She made study guides for the exams to help!

This is statistics, it isn't a cake walk buuut Professor Munoz is very helpful, passionate and encouraging throughout the course. Everything is on mymathlab, and she gives you multiple attempts on quizzes and homework. Really if you don't do well it is because you didn't try.

I took Professor Munoz for college algebra and Statistics. Practice tests for midterm and final, great at responding questions. I took statistics online and I made 100 on midterm and 100 on final! Just learn how to correctly use the Ti calculator and there is no way you can fail! Too bad I am done with my math classes!

Prof. Munoz is awesome! Only 2 tests in the class. First half of the class is easy stuff, and the midterm is half of your grade for the class, but it's easy to get 100% on it. Half of the questions on the final are from the midterm. The practice tests are identical to the real tests. Youtube and the Ti-84 are all you need, no need to buy the book.

I would first describe Professor Munoz as caring. She really wants each of her students to succeed. I took her online and it was a lot of HW but worth it because it paid off with an A. So if you work hard you will understand the material. You can take quizes and HW multiple times. Studyguides before exams. Exams are majority of grade. Mathlab.

Ive taken Munoz for 3 classes- shes that great. Wants her students to succeed. She will do her part to help you succeed if you show her you try. Study guides are the same as the test, isn't a tough grader and will work you through problems you don't understand. Definitely recommend her.

Honestly I owe my future AA degree to this professor, she lays everything out for you so it's easy to follow along and she provides amazing practice exams, if you do them you will pass the exam! Pretty much impossible to fail as long as you do the work. If you can't take her strongly suggest Eddy Stringer as well, both amazing professors!

Took this class in the summer as a 7 week course. Professor M is sweet, just show up for the first class and the rest isnt mandatory because the work is all online. Exams are like the practice exams and she lets you retake them as many times as you need. Professor M is always there to help with a question. Youd be crazy not to take her!

I owe my degree to this woman! Ive taken this class 5 times and failed every time until I took this class with her. I did the class online & the exams. she allows 1 pg front & back of notes on the midterm and final. she also gives you 10 late passes for the whole year so if you forget to turn something in you have an extension w/ 20% penalty

Great professor! Very helpful and encouraging. I would take her for any math she offers. Statistics was a breeze. Do the practice assignments and homework more than once and you will ace it.

She is very great at responding and is very open to helping students whether its with the math itself or with technical difficulties you are having. I've had for Statistics fall of 2020 and I highly recommend that you take this teacher.

What can I say about Professor Munoz? She is the most caring and understanding professor Ive ever had. Clear grading criteria. I made a B and Im horrible at math. If you do the review tests numerous times and take good notes, you are golden. Do yourself a favor and take her!

I gotta say there was a lot of work, but she gave us everything even included online calculators that did pretty much all the work. All you have to do is follow the course map to do the work and practice exams are very similar to actual exams. She responded super fast as well and even went back into exams and gave points that the system wouldnt.

I was nervous going into this class, but the course is laid out well. Do the work and there is no reason you can't get an A. She is very responsive and available for anything you need throughout the course. Homework and quiz for every chapter. A Mid-term and Final. You won't regret taking her!

Online class. Very easy, all test were unproctored and not timed so you had all the time you needed to work on the math. I never had to reach out to the professor but I would take her again.

I don't have enough good words about prof. Munoz. She is the sweetest professor I have ever had at FSCJ. She responded to my emails very quickly and answered all of my questions. The work is on the ALEKS website. There are lots of homework, but I managed to do all of them. There are knowledge checks, and the final one you should record.

Not much communication with the teacher when it is online. You use Aleks for the entire class. There was no due date and you build your grade up to whatever you want it to be. One final at the end that is proctored with two attempts. Relatively easy class if you put the work in.

The work is fully done on Aleks and is self paced. You pretty much learn on your own, but Professor Munoz is very responsive and helpful if you need any assistance. The workload is relatively easy but does take a lot of time so I recommend staying on pace. Easy A as long as you put the time and effort in.

What a gem of a professor. I loved that she made herself available whenever you needed her. All the assignments were on Aleks and you work at your own paste but I would like to say you half to be committed. It's definitely a lot of work. I would suggest you take her for this class.

Prof. Munoz was great! We used the program ALEKS so meeting up for class was not mandatory. There is only one proctored exam at the end and you can use notes, she allows you two tries to take it!! Very easy going, if you need help she will email you back quickly. I suggest you take her for stats and to take notes!! This class is very easy.

She is a great professor and always available. All of the work was done in ALEKS. There was a lot of assignments and there was no easy way around it other than learning the material and doing the work. Take your time and do your best on the initial "knowledge check" as this will determine how much of the PIE you will have to complete.

This is the easiest math class you will take if you put in the time. Even though it is an in-person class I only went to the first class as it is all online on ALEKS which is better than Mymathlab in my opinion. You can go to the class if you need help. She also responds to emails very quickly. I would 100% recommend anyone to take her class.

I took her online for the 7 week session, all you have to do is complete the weekly ALEKS. She is very kind and give you extra time if you missed a deadline just COMMUNICATE obviously. Looks like if you finish the ALEKS a week early and put the hour in you can get exempt from the final- thank GOD!

Usually stats is hard. However, Professor Munoz made it so easy. I did the 7-wk course and it was all done through a program named aleks. No tests or quizzes just scheduled knowledge checks to go over what you know. There was one final and you recorded yourself taking it and you can use all the notes you took throughout the semester. I loved her as my professor. She was so understanding and actually cared for her students. TAKE NOTES THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER. She uses ALEKS as the teaching system which is great. Highly recommend! The goal is to finish the Aleks Pie (or as much as possible) by the end of class. No quizzes, just random knowledges checks (not graded, just used to track your progress) & one proctored final knowledge check but you are allowed two attempts&unlimited notes so take thorough notes!! She says that they use an ALEXS program and that this is not a lecture class but more so a move at your own pace class. It was my first semester at FSCJ and she made it as easy as possible. No homework assignments required, all lessons are dependent on pretest scores. Aleks is simple to navigate through...it is kind of like the Edgenuity browser that some duval schools use. I hope I get Dr. Munoz again for MAC and and STA!

Do not second guess picking this professor. Very flexible work schedule and user friendly platform. I barely needed to reach out to her, but when I did she was responsive, kind, and helpful. Take notes throughout the homework! You're able to use those on your knowledge checks which make up your grade.

This is the first time I was truly able to grasp some of the concepts with statistics. It uses the ALEKS training modules and knowledge checks, your grade builds as you progress. I would suggest taking the full class and not the accelerated class if you struggle with math. It was completely do-able while still working a full time job.

Excellent professor! This class was a work at your own pace program. Extremely intuitive it gave you example problems to work out yourself and would tell you when you mastered a subject based on how many you got wrong. It was the best experience learning statistics, a subject that can typically make someone want to stick forks in their eyes.

She can see struggle areas and provides videos and additional resources to help. You have a pie progress goal you have to meet by the end of the semester and objectives along the way. Deborah Munoz is one of the best math professors at FSCJ which has office hours if you need to go in to ask math questions or simply just to work on Aleks for class. Another math professor I'd suggest you to reach out to is John Samons he also has office hours but you'd need permission if you aren't in his class. Lots of resources use them :)
