Dr.Serani is an amazing person let alone teacher. Her optomistic personality and knowledge of what she teaches makes the class more interesting then simply reading straight from a book. She always interacts with her students and shows that she cares. She is probably the best teacher I have ever had!!

Dr. Serani is an excellent professor. She keeps the class lively and interesting. The emphasis she puts on learning instead of worrying about grading leads to a greater learning experience. Take all of her classes if you can. Hopefully she will teach more then 2 classes in the future so I can take her again.

Dr. Serani is my favorite professor at Adelphi. Her lectures are interesting and classes are fun. I feel that I learned a lot. She focuses on the important concepts and doesn't require you to learn tedious facts. I'm sad that she doesn't teach more classes!

Her Midterms and finals are simple IF YOU TAKE NOTES ON HER POWER POINTS. Overall, this professor deserves the Noble Peace Prize and a winning lotto ticket. Take her class!

Dr. Serani is an asset to the Adelphi School Psychology program. She is so knowledgeable about the topics and she genuinely cares about her students. Doing the readings and good note-taking is definitely required for class, but she also provides excellent feedback on your papers. Overall 10/10 professor! I wish she taught more classes!

Dr. Serani was an amazing professor. I would take any class she teaches blindly. I wish she would teach more courses. I found her teaching to be interesting, useful, memorable, and enlightening. She is a caring professor that managed to not only teach her material but also managed to help her students feel less anxiety among their other courses.

This was the first course I took with her via online/during the pandemic. Her PowerPoints were extremely useful and this course (play therapy) taught me skills I will utilize in my profession. I wish she could have brought some of the lectures to life via zoom/prerecording, but overall I still learned a lot & would take a course with her again!
