IF you want a terrible teacher this is the one. She has no idea what is going on and doesnt seem to understand the material. She cant grade papers, changes her requirements and is not clear on anything. You could have an A or D depending on her mood.

i thought she was a really great teacher. Not so clear sometimes but in the end you seem to get it. Better class than most. Very nice
Seems very unsure of herself in this particular subject area. I would not recommend her for English Composition, Literature seems to be her strong point. She also flirts a lot with the younger guys.
Mrs.Snowberger is a great teacher, at times she is side tracked, but who doesn't get side tracked from time to time. She covers the material in class if you pay attention. Shes very hot too! :) Sometimes hard to concentrate ...lol
Horrible teacher. Doesn't seem to know what she's doing. Asking her any time where you stand in the class, and you'll just be blown off. So, don't plan on knowing your grade until it gets posted after the semester is over. I would definitely not recommend this class.
Awful! She is always confused and doesn't give clear direction. She is a push over, will ask you if its okay to assign things, will even change the due date if class says to! Her class is easy, but it is chancey w/ her. She lost alot of my work! Awful awful teacher!
Really nice teacher. She's very helpful and gives a lot of one on one attention if it's needed. Sometimes she gets off track and seems air-headed but I learned a lot from her. A little effort gets you an easy A.
This teacher was horrible. Never could give you a straight answer on what she was looking for. Provided wrong information on topics, and always gave quizzes. She was honestly the WORST TEACHER EVER. She seriously had no idea what she was doing, she constantly misspelled words and studdered. She was the worst teacher I ever had and I would NEVER recommend her to anyone!!!!
she is a wonderful professor, very interested in topics she covers will give you all the help you need if you listen when she lectures and study quiz questions they are the same as on the test. she is easy, people that dont pass its because they don't read the stories. READ STORIES GET AND YOU WILL GET AN "A"

Fun instructor! She made valid points and maintained a good class. There were some students that should have been told to leave class but overall a good experience.
She isn't a good English Comp. teacher.She doesnt clearly state what she wants for assignments.She never returns your assignments back on time. She gives assignments on literature WHILE you are trying to finish your research paper & the literature she has you do is not in the curriculum for ENC1102.Do Not Recommend!!!
Great teacher, people who say they didn't like her or said she is hard just didn't do the work. I showed up for every class, did all the work, and got A's. She does get side tracked but we all do...she is really helpful with the research paper, she takes you through it in steps and gives you easy A's good comp 2 teacher
Very Good. She will help you expand your writing skills and is lenient with assignments at times. She can be corny at times but hey you probably are too. I got an A in her class anyways whoot whoot! Take her, you learn.
This was one of the worst semesters I have ever had because of this woman. She goes from nice to evil to nice etc. She doesn't have any of her**** together and loses everything. Ended up with a low grade I did not deserve but there's nothing I'm going to do about it because I don't want to deal with her ever again.
Very unorganized, changes the work schedule often. Forgets to put down your grades. Definately not one of the better teachers I've had. It feels like the students teach the class and not the teacher because of all the presentations and in class readings.
She is a very nice teacher who is easy to talk to. But there are numerous quizzes in this class; not to mention a good amount of speeches that the students have to present. Other than that, read the material, and show up for class and you will do fine.
The Best English Teacher in my opinion and she also give you time to finish your assignments.
Great professor, she teaches you the skills of writing a good paper. If you follow her guideline you will definitely come out of her class with an A, I did.

I would say this class is easy but very fusterating!!! She is always scattered and never has a plan, i dont think she looks at the work sheets she gives us bc when we review she has no idea what were talking about. easy A but you dont learn anything!! i feel like im in middle school the way she teaches..
Good teacher. Easy to get by and pass the class, the tests are simple. Read your material, go to class and listen, do well on your powerpoint and pay attention to quizzes. You need her book. I recommend her she's good.
I had her a couple years ago for English Comp & she is so scatterbrained. She's very professional and really wants to be taken seriously but she randomly trails off into thought and forgets what we're reviewing or what she is lecturing about. Funny at first, annoying and frustrating after awhile.
First off, professor Snowberger is a drop dead gorgeous teacher for her age and an easy class if you communicate with her. I couldn't thank her anymore for all the help she has given me with the readings prior to 1865.The class consists of readings on different time periods, a powerpoint project w/ 6-8pg.research paper MLA style (easy) and quizzes
Always either late or EXACTLY on time (never early), and lessons are kind of scattered with no clear orginization. My class was filled with dual enrolled students and their lack of experience and effort only made things worse. Do the work and get clarification on EVERYTHING and you will do fine.
Best Professor I have had, but be prepared to work. She gives quizzes on the readings and will put you on the spot in class. The class is a lot of work but she makes it fun.

She is so scattered, if you ask a question, she will confuse herself than ask the class to help her answer it. She doesn't know how to grade, and when she grades papers she just guesses a grade out of her head and puts in on your paper. Worst teacher ever, also will give you a migraine every time you walk in.
Very nice person unfortunately just little scattered and unorganized at times. She knows the material she is teaching and you will learn how to become a better writer if you can stay with her. She also demands a lot of work so stay on top of it.
She is very unorganized. Gives you a lot of work that she doesn't even collect for a grade. Students would ask her questions and she wouldn't know the answer. very vague on what she wanted in her papers. you have a final presentation either with a group or by yourself that also has a paper to go with it. i would not recommend taking her at all.

No structure no set grading rubric, off topic, very frustrating goes off teaching something the essays based on other things, only a few grades (essays) do not take this class. No teaching skills whatsoever, doesn't help you, she's all over the place with lectures and the schedule of your class. Changes things all the time

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had! She looks as if she doesnt sleep, and is so unclear about her assignments. Good luck passing! She fails a lot of students from what my class is saying.
Worst teacher I could of possibly ever picked. I honestly don't know how she was certified as a teacher she can not teach. She changes the course outline all the time which conuses the entire class about the homework and assignments due and the agenda for each class. She is overly sensitive and gets offended when we question anything. Bad grader.
UNORGANIZED. If you have the time to dedicate every second outside of class for her, youll make it. Her final exam had so may errors, yet she wants our papers to be perfect. Good luck to those who have no other choice.
I would never take this professor ever again she grades very hard not clear on the assignments. She is rude DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR or you will fail half of the class including me did not pass her class.

Professor Snowberger is wonderful, and fully engages her students. Her explanations and topics of the day are really helpful to everything the course covers - so take notes!When asking a question - just ask her. Excellent emailing students & grading papers on time. Rarely late, and all Prof. change their mind on the syllabus, not just Snowberger!
Not a class to take if you are not fluent in German. There are no tutorials or instructions, examples, video lessons on any of the assignments. This is like walking into a dark room and being expecting to tell you the colors in another room. Very frustrating class to take with out any help online.
the professer seemed very nice and answered mail quickly. For most assignments or explanations, we had a youtube video with someone speaking fluent German or just study the book. There were just two short grammar explanations from the prof and the rest was up to us to figure out.
This has to be the worst professor i have ever taken at PBSC. EXTREMELY unorganized when she tries to teach. Asking for help is terrible because she just makes you more confused after talking to her. She says one thing and then the total opposite confusing herself most of the time. She gives horrible feedback and rarely gives anything over a 70.
She makes you do a lot of work, but you will definitely learn in her class. Class is organized and she has clear guidelines

I failed ENC1101 the first time I took it. Professor Snowberger is so much better than my other prof. she explains the assignments clearly and makes the topics interesting. I learned a lot in her class. She makes you work but that is just what it takes.
Prof. Snowberger is an amazing professor. You learn a lot and she engages you in class so the class goes by quickly. I am going to definitely take her for ENC1102

She's nice, and has good intentions. But she's really confusing, and grades toughly. Uhh i wouldn't take her if you struggle in writing. She's also really disorganized. Buutttt if you want a challenge, then this is the teacher to pick.
Professor Snowberger make the material fun. She is tough but fair. I learned a lot.
Professor Snowberger showed how to write the research paper an d broke in down into steps which made it easy. She gets the class into good discussions. She is really intelligent and makes you think about things differently.
If you participate in class, the grades will follow.
I took Professor Snowberger for German both semesters and she is wonderful. I have learned so much with her and would definitely take her again if I could. German is not an easy language but she does a great job in simplifying the grammar so that it is understandable. If you need a foreign language credit, take German! Got a 98%.
There weren't any additional materials beyond the book. Assignment grades came back in 1.5 weeks. I got 100 on all of my homework -- the issue is that on quizzes, her instructions aren't clear (I would say the same for homework as well) and you won't get a response before those assignments are due. My first withdrawal/drop in my college career.
Professor Snowberger is a nice lady, although some days she can be very rude. She read almost every one of my papers in class while leaving my name on them. She would hand them out to the class and have everyone pick out what was wrong with them. I was very surprised to end up with a B in the class because she didn't have much positive feedback.
PROF Snowberger manages to be venomously passive-aggressive in every interaction. Pay close attention to the weekly assignments, because several of them are unlisted or under the wrong due date. Very disorganized and only a passable lecturer- insists on over-complicating the language because she feels "masculine" and "feminine" words aren't PC.

She is never clear on what she wants but then gets mad when we do not do the assignment right. very unorganized with due dates and what the homework for the next class is. DO NOT TAKE HER.
Wow, she is the best! She really wants the student to enjoy learning German. She was always very accessible for questions and concerns about the course. She was really helpful when I needed to better understand something. Very helpful and nice. I will take her second course in German as well.
As long as you are on top of your deadlines, you'll pass. There are 14 weeks in total with each week having a list of assignments that must be completed by the next Monday at midnight. Quizzes and tests are somewhat difficult so make sure you study the material well. If you are an independent learner and don't procrastinate, you'll pass.
Prof. Snowberger really helped me improve my writing. She taught me how to organize papers. At beginning of semester I didn't think I would pass cus she grades hard but she makes you learn. I got a B. I am glad I took her.
She makes you learn because you have to have rough drafts. She gives a lot of time to revise papers and tell s you what to revise so you learn. If you do not revise then you will fail the paper. She has you use grammarly and gives you a list to use to revise. A pretty straight shooter.

Her instructions are commonly vague so it would be good to ask lots of questions on assignments and to pay attention to details. Be prepared to write a lot, but as long as you pay attention and give 100% she won't go to fast on due dates, some times she'll extend the due dates.
Doesn't care about individual students success. Does not compromise. Don't bother trying to get extra credit or turn in late assignments. She wont let you. Stick to her assingment schedule or fail. Poor speaker and presenter.

She's a great teacher, she tries to keep the discussions as interesting as possible. She's sarcastic at times but it kept the class laughing. Overall not the professor I had chosen to take but I would recommend her! Oh, be sure to read all the stories!
Skeptical at first, Professor Snowberger became my favorite instructor of the spring semester. She took the time out of her day to proofread my rough drafts and was available for help outside of class. She is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor, although I don't think she respected me as a person. Highly recommend her course.
Professor Snowberger loves literature and is very knowledgeable, but she's highly disorganized, forgetful and sometimes a little passive aggressive. I felt sort of bad for her at times because she really tried, but it was an extremely difficult class. I received a B which lowered my GPA. Disappointing.

Adds assignments into blackboard just minutes before you walk in to class expecting you to see them already. I would rather wait an entire semester to take another professor to graduate than take her again.
Accused me of plagiarizing a completely original paper because of one very commonly used phrase and proceeded to make an example of me in an email to the rest of her students. Very rude and never knows what she's talking about. Would not budge on her own grading mistake and had to withdraw. She values rubrics over a good paper and is too headstrong
Professor does not clearly state assignments. Even upon clarification, she adds criteria to assignment while grading, making it impossible to get an A, she does not take responsibility for her poor structure or assignment criteria. Easy F, my GPA was 3.7 before, the first class I've gotten a C in. Do not let your GPA suffer for this.
She is very understanding about issues. The only complaint I have is the structure of it and the fact you have to be self reliant, but once you get over those things you should do alright. If you have trouble she is always more than willing to help you out if you put in effort.
I have always been an excellent writer all throughout high school but when I took her class. She made me feel extremely discouraged about my writing. She is also extremely unclear about what the specific topics she wants and how its supposed to be written per essay. She also believes that you cant revise your own essay. Have to go to SLC!
She gives a lot of work and just using Google translate will not get you the correct answer 9 times out of 10, so you really have to work for it. However, she is a great prof, gives great feedback and gives you an outline of the whole class so you know what to expect.
She expects you to know everything without her teaching you. She doesn't give clear feedback on essay rough drafts most of the time. If you ask for help she will try her best but once you do what she has helped you with and you resubmit she will find a new error that she never told you about before leading you to do it all over again or a bad grade
Not hard if you do the work. Cares about your success. Accessible outside of class. Very interactive so it makes the class fun. All readings are relevant and eye opening. One of the best professors I've had!
Scatterbrained and will assign work and will randomly add on to the assignment without letting the class know. doesn't give clear feedback on papers and lacks on grading assignments on time. Classwork is super vague and unclear most of the time and it is hard to keep up when not clear. not understanding at all either

I've taken AP Lang, Comp, and ENC1101 previous to Prof. Snowberger, and still felt unprepared for her style of teaching. Prepare to not use the words "is, are, be," in ANY of your writing... harder than you think. Outside of her mediocre teaching style, she personally made me very uncomfortable, making inappropriate comments towards other students

Discouraging to students, scattered brained and will confuse you/your class frequently with other people in other classes, feedback is not constructive and helpful just hurtful and disrespectful if you are able to stay clear of this class please do!
The worst english teacher I ever had. First,her grading criteria is tough and complicated, she dosnt explain her assignments thoroughly enough and confuses herself at time. Also near the end, she will fail you if you do not follow her rubric instructions exactly as they are Written.
BUY GRAMMARLY PREMIUM! Condescending attitude. NEVER use "to be" or helping verbs. Tell a story. Revise. Grades using Grammarly-THAT IS YOUR GRADE. Spellcheck. Adds assignments, not on the syllabus. Never grades promptly. Ask her to review your essays. You'll learn how to write, but the class is CHALLENGING. Use the SLC. Then you *may* get an A.
To start, she is very unorganized. She grades very harshly. I would ask for feedback on my essay and how I could improve, but she didn't care. The only thing she would say is to "tell a story to expand your essay". If you want to pass her class, type essays in HER style. Overall, her class was the worst.
Do not take this class. She is all over the place with her teaching. You have to write papers the way SHE writes but won't tell you how to do that until you turn something in and she rips it apart in front of the whole class. I've been in ap english my entire life and I'm failing this class.
worst teacher I've had in my whole life, out of all the classes I'm taking, from having around 30 students the first day, the semester is almost done and 80% dropped and its only 2/3 students max in every class, do not waste your money
Here is the thing - just do things her way. Wrote 4 1000 word papers. Midterm and final were easy again as long as you do it her way. I got an A by following her style. Not the best class or professor, but definitely could be worse. Not too strict on turning in on time as long as you do the work you'll be fine. She was nice to me and my classmates.
