She is a really good teacher and makes bio fun. she is really into what she teaches which helps alot. her lab is really good as well.

i loved mrs. feickert. i had her as my lab teacher. her quizzes were fairly easy. if you read the workbook and understood the lab then you should score well on the quizzes. i did better on the lab quizzes than the lecture test, thats the reason for the D. i would recommed mrs. feickert to anyone.

class was extremely hard. tests are hard. know everything on that study guide and start it right away. very nice lady. tries to make the really really really boring lectures fun. she did impersonate our facial expressions which was quite funny at times.

Great professor! Very helpful and she knows her stuff! Do the study guide before the test and you will do fine. One journal(very easy), a few tests and 3 very small 1-1/2 papers. (very easy) She is VERY fair on her grading :)

When it comes to anatomy, Prof. Feickert is the best you can hope for! She is amazingly patient and very clear. You have to do your part because anatomy is not easy, but she makes it as bearable as possible and answers every question thoroughly. Her sense of humor is also a plus, takes the drag out of so much memorizing. Had her for lab and passed!

Are you deathly afraid of human anatomy? I sure was, but Professor Feickert was quick to turn that around. She made the subject fun with her quirky jokes and bouncy energy. While anatomy itself is a bit of a tough class, Professor Feickert makes it as easy as she can. If you need help, she'll make sure you understand. HIGHLY recommended.

Anatomy is a hard class. She is very helpful. Tests are all essay so you really need to know the material. Say goodbye to any free time you have and spend a ton of time studying. Do not show up late, she is very punctual, so if you tend to run late don't take her. Show up early and you will be on time.

OMG...This class was so much fun I could jump over the moon...very straight forward lecture text no tricky stuff...she's super helpful and don't mind how many times u ask the same questions she answers till u get it...definately recommend....I got a B in this class and I aint super smart....lol...just study hard you will b ok...

Mrs. Feickert, is by far the best teacher I've had this sem. I wont lie Bio is a lot of studyin you wont pass if you dont study. She has notes already printed out that can be bought at the student store (worth it). She post study guides for every test. She's always open to help you nd makes learning bio so fun, No book needed grades on a curve :D

I had her for lab and found that she was very helpful. She gave more information than the lecture teacher did. Watch your spelling, she is tough on that. If you have a question, ask. She will go over it as many times as you need to understand it. There is a lot of memorizing but if you study you will do fine in lab.

AWESOME lady, very passionate about the Earth, and garbage. Show up on time or you will be locked out! Her lectures are entertaining, and she gives a break. Articles, tests and a journal make up your grade. Study for the tests, the articles are straight forward, and the journal may change your life!

Caring teacher! Funny! Loves the environment! Note taking=easy. Exam=kind of hard but some stuff is easy, I always got 40/50. Just study your notes IMMEDIATELY! Also, STUDY THE STUDY GUIDE SHE POSTS. All on exam will be covered in that. Use it as study guide. Project, super fun! I recommend doing powerpoint! DONT BE LATE TO CLASS! TRUST ME! :-)

Really interesting class, she always has some kind of story that relates to what she's teaching so it doesn't get boring. Go to class 5 mins early or she WILL lock you out though. Tests are difficult but if you study thoroughly you should be fine. You really can't be lazy in this class! She's also really funny and nice too if you ask her questions.

Amazing teacher! She is extremely organized, and her lecture notes help soooo much, so make sure you buy them. I had her for lab and lecture, and I'm so thankful. She keeps right on top of things, and you can upload her lectures onto itunes. I read the book, though you didn't have to to get an A. Answers any questions you have and is very nice.

Pleasant teacher for a subject that I'm not too fond of. Tests are based on her outlines, which are for sale at the bookstore. Lectures are clear, and straight to the point. Tests may require study time, if what you're hearing in lecture doesn't make and sense to you. I didn't have to study much, but it was needed.

Honestly one of the most funniest and nicest teachers i ever had, anatomy is a tough subject so you definitely will need to study A LOT! but shes a very amazing teacher and super helpful and will make it easier for you to memorize what you need to know! Had her for environmental bio. She is so enthusiastic while giving lectures. You really do learn from her class. Tests are easy, she gives a study guide, just follow it and you'll pass. I ended with an A.

She is compassion about environmental issues all of them. Was scared at first then I starting to get interested in it. She's a great teacher, her test come from her PowerPoint. You must be on time, she will lock you out if late.She will even accommodate your needs when it comes to test taking. Take her she's the best.

This professor is THE BEST... hands down! She is very down to earth and very funny! I had taken Langjahr before and dang I sure wish I would have taken her in the first place! Mrs. Feickert is one of my favorite teachers to date! She is very passionate about biology and the environment and that really translates into her teaching. She is happy all of the time and know what she is talking about. There is no homework or final, so your grade depends entirely on your test scores, but she posts a study guide that really helps

Prefessor Feickert was an extremely helpful teacher. I was in her lecture class and she explained everything preety well. Her test were not that hard if you studied. She was always available if you had any questions. Unlike others professors she was NOT monotoned, but made the classroom environment more enjoyable with her humor.I enjoyed her class.

EXCELLENT professor. Really clear in lecture and lab. Very energetic and involved w/ class. STUDY HARD, then study harder! Studied min 2 hrs day. Got an A. Grades on a curve. OMG! AVC needs more teachers like Mrs. Feickert! She is very kind, fair, organized and exciting. Attendance is mandatory for notes cause lectures are podcast now. 4 reports , 3 test, and study guide for all exams. I hated sciences until I enrolled in her class. Take her you won't regret it!!

Prof is incredible. Enthusiastic is an understatement. Knows everything about the subject and will answer every question you have. Be ready to study and devote a huge amount of time to this course. Tests are straight from her lecture notes. This course is HARD by nature but she gives you everything you need to pass if you work HARD at it.

This class is fun, she is hot too, her voice is a bit squeaky, but one gets used to it. Mesmerize her lecture notes as if you were memorizing the constitution. This class is not a joke, took this and microbiology together and I almost killed myself, but passed both classes with an A.

Love her. I took language first and failed, but she is a better teacher and is more willing to help you. She is very approachable and will help you alot.

This is my first time ever rating a professor but in this case Professor Feickert has this coming. She is AWESOME!!! I never was interested in the environment until her class. Now WOW so much to learn about the environment. Reports are very interesting and her test read the outline booklet over and over and you will do great. Study everything.

Professor Feickert is highly recommended by most. Feickert makes Anatomy fun and interesting. I took way too many units with this course. I would suggest taking this and one other course. Feickert gives you all the tools necessary to pass. Take Feickert if you want to learn about the human anatomy.

Pro. Feickert knows her stuff. You need to attend class and study for the test. I didn't like Biology and I still don't, but I learned a lot.

Debra makes it easy to learn. She's full of energy and makes me want to come to class and she has no problem helping when someone needs it. I didn't study once and still got a C in the class by just going off what was said in class. Anatomy is rather easy with her as a teacher, I would recommend studying if you want a better grade than a C though.

Professor Feickhert is awesome. She's really sweet and you learn a lot about the environment from her. I'm now more conservative when it comes to my water use and my electricity use. Study her notes and you will pass. Simple as that.

Hard subject, good teacher. Lecture notes have the exact info for the lecture tests and during lab she will help you whenever you need it. The class is a point-based system. There are 3 Lab tests (100 points each) and i think 5 lecture tests (50-75 points each). She's a great teacher. I only used the book for pictures. And STUDY! GO TO SI! Get Help

Prof. Feickert is phenomenal. She helped me thru the whole semester and didn't let me give up. The exams were hard(minus the practicals) but her positive attitude and love for anatomy made it worth it. Show up to lablecture, go to SI and STUDY STUDY STUDY, like your life depended on it.

She is amazing! She makes lectures interesting because of her passion for her job. She gives clear study guides and all you have to do is pay attention in class and study and you will pass! She also gives extra credit. Puts her powerpoint and lecture on podcasts in case you are absent but only 3 absences allowed! Also NO TEXTBOOK needed. )

This class itself isn't easy to start with but I definitely learned a lot from this course. She is always there for you and is an excellent teacher.

awesome class, 6 lecture exams, 3 lab practicals. the lab practicals can boost your grade up by 1 letter grade so make sure you get good grades on those. test every 3 weeks. memorize the lecture notes and you pass the exams. tests are short answer, she gives description, you write the name of cell organ bone. lecture 1 exam is hardest

Professor Feikert is a great teacher. Knows how to teach anatomy and is always willing to help in or outside of class. Shes very passionate (which comes off very strongly when you start the class, it does grow on you though) and a teacher i was glad to take. The class is hard though. Start studying right away and consider not taking as many units.

Mrs. Feickert is one of the greatest women I have yet to have for a teacher. She is VERY passionate about Anatomy and has great ORGANIZATION skills. The class is no joke though you are constantly studying so taking very light classes with it. Tests are all fill in the blank and critical thinking. Only take this class if you are motivated to learn!

Professor Feickert is a great- lectures are interesting. There isn't any homework for lecture or lab, your grade rests on your tests. 6 lecture tests and 3 lab practical's. Test are written- even lab practical you must pull the names out of your head so be sure to memorize the names of structures. A LOT is covered on each test so study DAILY.

Very hard class. Make sure you set aside 2 hours a day to study or you won't pass the tests. Your grade is solely from the tests. Amazing teacher! She really cares about her students and is very knowledgeable in her subject. She helps you out as much as possible by giving half points for at least trying on answers you don't know. Go to SI tutor.

Professor Feickert is very dedicated to her field. You can ask her anything related to the human body and she will know it. YOU DONT NEED THE BOOK; it would be wise for you to get her lecture outline, lab book and atlas. Her class is honestly incredibly easy so long as you are able to memorize her OUTLINE. Professor Feickert is the best instructor I've had in AVC. She is so motivating and made me love the human body. A lot of memorization but it is all interesting information to know. She makes the class really fun and organized. Make sure you listen to podcasts and organize yor notes in her outline by highlighting and memorized everything!

Debra Feickert was my anatomy lecture teacher and she was amazing. She is so passionate about what she teaches and she does everything to help her students succeed. She give a ton of 1/2 and even 1/4 points on tests so that she doesnt have to mark it completely wrong. Anatomy is a VERY hard class but I got an A because shes a great teacher!

Take Professor Feickert! She is an amazing professor. You don't need the book... buy and study her outline! And I mean STUDY because the tests are NOT multiple choice, it's all memorization fill in the blanks. Her labs are fun. She posts her lectures online (podcasts) for you to study again with your outline. You will actually LEARN in her class!

It's rare that you get a professor that truely believes in you. Professor Feickert is that rare exception, never once did she let me believe that this class was something I couldn't do, when at times it really felt that way. You have to WORK for your grade, and it's a privalige to be taught by someone as great Professor Feickert. "it's gonna be ok"

It's a demanding course. There are 9 tests: 6 lecture tests and 3 lab practicals. You pretty much need to memorize everything in the outline if you want to pass with an A. Don't take this class with another hard class. She is caring and genuinely cares about her students.

Lovely professor! While the class most definitely relies on lectures and a lot of notes, Professor Feickert makes it interesting. She has a great personality, and explains the material in a way that is easy to understand.

By far my favorite Professor I have taken. To pass her class, you should always be studying often (remember; functions, functions, functions!) She teaches the material in a way that's not only really engaging but also understandable and fun! She cares about her students; so always take that to mind and her any questions. Biology professor Feickert is amazing biology professor she give her biology students in environment biology lecture videos, extra credit, study guide questions to answers the study guides, lecture videos helps to be prepare for the tests and quizzes. She teaches environment biology online class through lecture video podcasts and it very easy.

Failed this class, but that was definitely on me not studying enough outside of class. I still love professor Feickert, she made Anatomy so fun and interesting, this is a professor that loves what she does. My favorite Anat/ Physio professor at AVC, love and respect this woman by studying and making her proud! visit her at office hours!!

I'm enjoying Prof Feickert's class so far! A typical week's work looks like a discussion post, responding to a classmate, 40-minute podcast lecture, 2-3 lesson readings, and then taking a 15-question quiz. The grading is very clear for these assignments as well. There are Lecture tests which are 50 MCQs, but no other assignments on these weeks!

Prof Feickert's class is laid out well with clear expectations. The work includes discussion posts, podcast lectures, and quizzes. Unstuckstudy has been a helpful tool for quiz prep. Overall, an enjoyable and manageable course.
