VERY VERY EASY CLASS, although lots of work. Class may be boring to people who arent much into art/history, otherwise interesting. Nicest teacher.

She is a nice person and i thought a great teacher. There is a lot of work in the class and lots of papers. The tests are difficult. Overall the class is definitely challenging. You definitely get your money's worth! But it's fun if you like the arts.

She made this class very interesting, it became my favorite one. I thought the tests were very easy, because as long as you went to class there was no way you could do badly. I rate her very high, she was one of the nicest I've ever had

She's a great and energetic teacher. Ann is a wonderful person, too, and wants each student to succeed personally and not just get one of her As (which are really easy). Don't take if you don't like lecture, or you can't shoot up quick papers (also easy)

This lady is awesome!!! She is always happy to help you and has great availablity. Her class is very interesting if you are open to learning. You do have to put some effort in, but you will be rewarded! She is a GREAT teacher!

She is an awesome teacher and seems like she loves to teach...But make sure you go to class...In class quizzes can kill your grade if you miss too many...Not too much work, overall the class is pretty good.

Mz. M is always willing to help. before the tests she answers any questions you might have. nicest teacher i've had at ucf so far. the subject can get boring, but she's very passionate about humanities.

Mz. M is wonderful! She loves her job and cares about her students. If you make an honest effort you will have an A easily. Always there to help. Grades very loosely on papers. She even dyes her hair pink and purple! You'll love her. She's so sweet.

Tests are easy but unlike most classes you actually learn something from them. She takes a personal interest in you if you do a good job in the class-she gave tests back and attached to mine was a review of a book she thought I'd like based on my writing.

Mz. M Is awesome! She is always trying to improve herself as a teacher by taking class poles. She is always available for out of class help and she's so gosh darn sweet! :) Make sure you go to class and read to book though.

Awesome teacher. Takes an interest in students, but don't expect her to coddle you if you can't be bothered to come to class or attempt to learn anything. Very, very cool lady.

She is honestly the best teacher I have had here at UCF. I really wasn't that interested in art, but she made it interesting. She really cares about her students and wants them to do well. Look at the study guides online before a test and you will getan A

Best Teacher Ever!! Requires allot of work in the begining, but it's worth it. You'll learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing it. In class dicussions are great if you don't want to talk you don't have to. Just read the chapters and do the study guides.

One of the nicest teachers I've ever had...very welcomming in her office and she wants her students to do well. Her test are a bit of work to study for but her class is very interesting, and she loves what she's doing.

Really enjoyed her as a teacher...but she expects you to read BEFORE you get to class and doesn't like her students writing down word for word from her powerpoint notes

Mz. M. is awsome and extremely helpful. She's always got a smile on her face and is enthusiastic. Class info is very interesting. Read the chaps for the test and def. take notes-she likes to quiz on random facts that she gives in class.Overall, awsome class and prof.

I'm waiting a semester just so I can have her again! She loves what she does and will go out of her way to help you with papers or anything else. It's not a hard class and she makes it so interesting. Get her if you can!

she is the most amazing teacher i have had!her class is tough;you must read and do outlines and actually study, but if you read when she tells you to,you will pass with flying colors.she is kooky and fun, and she makes you happy to be in class. i cant wait to take another class with her!

This class was easy. Her workload is almost a joke. The inclass essays were simply answering a couple of questions with one or two sentences. I didn't really like her lectures much, but she makes really simple tests. I just wasn't very challenged by the class. Bit boring...

She is the best teacher i have ever had!!! She is sort of funny and makes class interesting. The workload isn't too bad as long as you keep up with it! and tests are a breeze if you pay attention in class!

master m is wonderful, i love her! her tests are simple, questions usually come from the powerpoint slides and of course, the book. the workload can seem to be a lot at first..but once you get the hang of the format then you'll be okay. there are ALWAYS extra credit opportunities too!

the sweetest person ever! she makes going to class fun; she dresses up, plays music, brings in stuff. the tests are straightforward, if you read the book you will do super well. ended up with a 104 avg. Easy papers, and she is just the sweetest most caring teacher!

Takes a REAL interest in who you are, I liked that. She is always smiling, great teacher, EASY class, I didn't even study for the tests, we go over it so much in class you can't help but remember things. Really fun and caring. Whatever you decide to do, do NOT take a class with Coverston.

not a bad class, cannot miss lectures because half of ur grade comes from in class work and quizzes. tests arent that bad just read the book, and the artists and their works. nice lady, very helpful. review sessions for tests are helpful too.

She is sooo awesome. I loved her personality and intrest in every single person. The tests were not too difficult. I recommend her.

she's great.her assignments are pretty easy. Not too much reading, she gives you the stuff you need for the exam. She gives you copies of every test, as well as the answers once they are graded. The projects are fun and creative, and only one is required, the rest are extra credit. She gives plenty of opportunity to earn an A.

oh and I just wanted to say something to the "teacher's pet comment guy" I'm pretty sure she doesn't know my name, and if she does it's because I added a pic to one of my papers, I am hardly a teacher's pet and I still think she's awesome

Ya, i thought this class would be an easy A, but it's not. I'm not a history person maybe that's why, but it just seems like there's so much information to learn for each test. There are a few papers, not bad though. The papers aren't too bad, but I went in to her office hours, she told me exactly how to fix my paper, and I got an A.

She's a weird woman. This was not an easy A. Go to class and take notes. Plus she does random quizes. Read the chapters and do the study guides. If you're not good at writing, go to her office and have her read your paper, guaranteed an A on them if you do. 3 papers, 4 tests, final. Have fun.

Her favorites get the As. There is one particular assignment where you have to write a long essay andvif youre not a suckup, you wont be graded easily. Tests are easy. I got >>>Bs on all of the tests and got a C in the class because of the ESSAY which she gave me a D on. Just be a favorite and youll get a good grade on the ESSAY. I wish I was.

Master M is amazing!!! She's so passionate about her teaching. I loved her. Going to class was no chore cause she makes class interesting even though she does lecture the whole time. She has a unique style of teaching and an aberrant beauty to her way of expressing herself. I want to take another one of her classes if i can. Highly recommended duh

Apparantly Humanities has gotten hard, but when I took it she was the easiest teacher I had at UCF. Granted, I was one of her favorites, but even then I barely even tried and got an A on everything. She is crazy, but in the end she was one of my favorite profs.

A little disorganized and repetitive but one of the rare teachers that cares about teaching. The material is easy, her grading is easy, and the tests are easy. Very interactive in and out of class. Will form a personal relationship w/ students which is nice for ppl seeking that kind of experience. I recommend for an easy A and a little inspiration

Master M is extremely enthusiastic about Humanities. She shows a great interest in her student's learning. Her tests are not too difficult (HINT: Go with All of the above & u'll be good...lol). I don't really believe she has favorites; she just likes when people show an interest in the subject and can have an educated conversation with her. TAKE IT

She was a good teacher, who can get boring at times. You have to always go to class, because she gives pop quizzes that are worth as much as tests, so dont miss those, but the tests are really easy, and so are the quizzes you just have to be there.

She is a nice teacher and her class is very easy. She reads off her powerpoint in class and her tests are right from them. This class is an easy grade and the material is very interesting. She definetely makes it easy to understand.

Master M is a great teacher. She loves what she does and always has high energy. If you wanna do well I suggest you sit in the front and attend class most of the time. Class gets extremely boring but it goes by quickly. Make sure to keep up on your journal's. Interesting class.

Amazing! I loved her. Everything is pretty much from her power points. SIT UP FRONT, and TAKE PART IN DISCUSSIONS! Tests were very easy if you study your notes. I had fun with my project, that's what she likes to see, that you took an interest in it and applied it. Papers are a little bit tougher, but do something you are interested in. It'll help.

Master M, as she will want to be referred to, is one of the coolest teachers I've had. She's obviously very into the subject matter, and you get to talk about your opinion in the quiz essays. She reads everything and tries to find the value in almost anything you say. A great teacher!

She's a bit cooky but really sweet and very passionate about her subject :) I liked her and the class was pretty easy...a little boring tho. The blue book journal assignments r tedious and shes a bit precise during the 1-on-1 meeting to review them but when u turn them in later she eases up. Overall it really wasnt bad

She's sweet and has a sense of humor, but BORING. Her tests are, for the most part, easy - as long as you read the book. If you have to take an art class, I suggest you take HUM 2210 and ARH 2050 at the same time because they're both very similar and will make it easier on you!

She is the best professor ever. I love how she is so passionate about humanities and she does teach you a lot. Her slides were disorganized and her tests were easy, but I learned a lot and that is what college is all about. If you have to miss a test or turn in an assignment late, she does allow you to. She made me want to major in humanities.

She is the sweetest, weirdest professor I have ever had. And I love that she's so passionate about what she teaches. Every class, she always had us laughing about something. The 3 written assignments are pretty long but just study, go to class, and you'll do fine.

Master M, as you will call her, is a fantastic person. You will learn a lot from her. The book basically backs up her lectures. Attendance is not mandatory but the tests and quizzes come straight from her powerpoints.

She is very sweet, yet very odd. She is passionate about what she teaches and truly has your best interests in mind. I took her class for World Lit I & II. I did excellent in the first class, and although I slacked a little in the 2nd class-she knew my quality of work and I still ended up with an A + in the class. She's awkward but worth taking.

Passionate, energetic, helpful, cares about students' success, helps you learn how to learn, yes, it's lecture and attendance is mandatory--duh! Yes, you have to read the text--duh! loves the subject, and makes it interesting with personal stories so that students can relate to real human experience! This is what college is all about!

Really nice, but her lack of organization makes the class harder than it needs to be. If you're looking for an easy Gen Ed history, look elsewhere, sporadic projects and tests you have to know too much about art for make this class easy C, a decent amount of work for a B, but overall just too much stress compared to say AMH 2020 for an A.

If you want A go to class, record lectures and take notes. If only you attend lectures you will recognize 80% of test. Notes and recordings are valuable for written assignments. Then you will know 90-95%. Many questions can only be found by yours truly. You cannot pass by reading book alone. Also, if you skip class you lose points if she calls you.

She is a easy professor!! Take her, all you have to do is attend class and take notes. Her tests and quizzes are easy because she tells you all the answers in the Notes/Powerpoints! 1 Quiz/2 Tests... Easy Grades!! The questions are like duhhh and doesnt require much thinking. I got a A++ (with extracredit)

Master M is one of the best professors out there. She really cares about the subject she is teaching, and she makes you want to care also. She is quirky, and unique. She says attendence is mandatory, but she never officially took attendence. I stopped going towards the end and still made a solid B. Definite must take!

I would recommend getting the online book, because of the search feature that you can type in a word and it will automatically highlight everywhere it appears in the text. This is very helpful for all of the assignments when you search for the key word.Professor is very nice and willing to help students, and puts them as a priority.

Professor Maukonen (or Master M, as you will call her) is an adorable, small woman who is truly passionate about her subject. She seems honored to share what she knows with the class, and she speaks clearly, but her powerpoints are kind of a mess. Just go to class, copy the notes, and you'll get an A, no problem.

Honestly, at the beginning of the semester, I found Master M (you'll end up calling her that) somewhat odd. But by the end of the year, I LOVED her. She's willing to help if you ask for it. And though she may seem air-headed, if you actually LISTEN you'll realize she's a storehouse of information. She's funny, and the tests aren't too difficult

Master M is great! I learned so much in her class and it even inspired me to change my major to Humanities. Tests are easy, you don't really need the textbook and I have never used the online component I had to purchase. I would recommend her to anyone.

If you like art then this is a class for you. It is kind of an unorganized class but she gives assignments and group projects that count as quiz grades! Make sure to check her website because she might surprise you with study sheets.
