Overall, this class is pretty easy. The teacher is pretty cool and makes the material as interesting as possible. You are usually given 100+ pages to read each week. The material covered in this class is ancient literature and is VERY BORING. The teacher gives you a chance to rewrite all of your papers, even your final project!

Very easy class. There is obviously a lot of reading material to do, but if you get it done and come to class prepared, then you're good. She does a very good job correcting papers and gives you numerous opportunities to rewrite your papers. She is very funny, and makes the learning fun.

Love her classes. I have taken her twice and would take her anytime. The online classes are very demanding, but she's always there to help. She gives her students enough opportunity to learn from their mistakes through the rewriting process. I have recommended her to all of my friends and to counselors at CCSN. Great Professor!

It seems that her online class can be challenging. However, I have enjoyed her on campus class. With traffic and distance, I drive about 45 min. every week to take her class, but is totally worth it! She helps students understand the text. She is great!

She is very lenient in when assignments are due. Beware procrastinators, you can get yourself into a lot of trouble if you don't stay on top of the work! Overall, one of the funniest and best teachers I have ever had! Highly recommend!

Although it was 5 sem hrs online, the class was very helpful. There were lots of assignments and quizes. Overall, the professor was great, and she took pride in her job.

I learned SO MUCH in this class. It has helped me succeed in every class I have taken since. I highly recommend this teacher if you want to become a better writer. I'm glad I took 100 (which includes grammar), but it is a lot of extra work, so be prepared for it! I think most students could use the review ;). The work was worthwhile!

I really enjoyed taking her class. She made the stories fun and interesting with her point of view. Much take class in class room to benefit from her teaching. I never had so much fun in an English class.

She is a great teacher. She lets you know on the very first day of class what she expects from her studetns. She eliminates the final if you show up for every single class. She will stay after, for questions. Shw is available on her office hours. She loves her subject, and it shows.

I took her class online and it was very easy to follow. She made it an even amount of work, it's up to you how you plan to work though. Only a couple papers and you get peer responses and one research paper, she had you write on a message board to communicate with other students and herself throughout the course, making it feel like you're in a cla

She's an OK professor. She was a bit confusing at times but she does her best to help her students. Does give A LOT of work but very lenient on due dates. A bit funny also. Most of her work is online, but that's what makes it convenient for me. If you can't take a crapload of work due every week, then don't take her. She let's you redo papers =)

The professor is very layed back and easy going. The assignments from week to week are very consistant so you always know what to expect. Overall, I liked the class and reccomend it.

Take this class! You can turn in all your writing at the end of the semester! She lets you write at your own pace. She lets you rewrite your work; you can fix the corrections she made on the work and turn it in again for a better grade! She gives extra credit, jokes during lectures, and with perfect attendance you don't have to take the final exam!

Best Teacher Ever! A lot of assignments, but you get rewrites on everything (AKA you get the grade you want) I took her 4 week summer class, ton of work, but guaranteed A. I highly recommend this class- and I am a mother of 3 small boys and was taking 2 other full time classes. The reviews on here are very accurate!

Professor Berry, in one word, is awesome. I was never really a fan of English class, but i always look forward to going to her class because she's just so entertaining to watch teach. She gives a lot of work but will let you turn anything in whenever you want, and she lets you rewrite essays for better grades.

I took Professor Berry for the Bible as Literature. Very interesting class. I wish this was an on-campus class so there could be face to face interaction. She's very fair on grading. She allows you to do as many rewrites on papers/assignments as you want. There is just a TON of reading, but what do you expect when you read the Bible? GOOD CLASS!

I took the One Month Summer class at CSN and it was scary at first. She gives you all these milestones to accomplish and at first it feels impossible. Once yo start chipping away at it, it gets really easy. Plus, she allows you to make corrections to all your work which really helps out the grade. I recommend her class to anyone.

I am taking this class now. It is not an easy class. The quizzes are tough and the reading can go up to 400 pages per assignment, BUT she gives you a lot of time to finish each assignment. I love reading her lectures. Very funny. I'd rather read her stuff than the books we're required to read. 10 responses; 1 research paper.

Read 100 pages a week with a quiz,+10pages of responses & a 5-7 page final research paper. Allows you to rewrite ALL papers as many times as needed. Quizes can be taken 2x. & you can work at your own pace(NO DUE DATES) except for everything to be completed by the end of class, of course.

I wanted to Withdarwl from this class after I saw the amount of items to do for her class. Lots or work, however she gived you a lot of retries in essays to make your grade better. I thought this was an amazing class and she is a grat teacher. However if you don't want to do a lot of work, I suggest you get a different teacher.

There was alottt of work,but if you can be organized, then its easy. Work isnt hard (its just alot). You can always redo your work, which really improves your grade! So i suggest you do it! Ecspecially if your the type of person to get low grades on your essays. The Prof. always answer your questions in a timely matter.

Class got wrapped into ENG 223 after enrollment, so a lot of papers were required. BUT- she allowed unlimited rewrites and was extremely helpful on feedback. As a result, all of my papers ended up being 100% because of her feedback. She has an excellent sense of humor and makes the class VERY enjoyable. Do papers EARLY!!

This class is crosslisted with ENG 223. She's very helpful with feedback and allows you to do rewrites. This course consists of quizzes, one page responses, discussion posts, and a research paper. Overall I would recommend her since her lectures are interesting and she gives good feedback for improvement.

Don't take this class, especially if you do not have much interest in WMST. You read 100+ pgs a week and are quizzed. You have to write 1 page response every week. This class is very time consuming. I wouldn't recommend if you are full time student and working.

This class is not easy... but it isn't hard either.. you have to keep on track, and do your work. she ieample time and space to complete assignments, reading is heavy, but not impossible especially if you want to earn about king Arthur.I really enjoyed the class.. no final, a bit of writing. again ample time to complete, and unlimited rewrites..

Really love Ms. Berry. She is entertaining, and her silly jokes make me laugh. Due dates are flexible, work is easy if you just DO IT! Do NOT procrastinate. Do the assignments on/near due dates, and you will be fine. Hybrid class. Complaints, lots of double-sided journals. A lot of materials/books to get for this class making it kinda expensive

Seven books to read, some are split between two weeks. Quiz every week. Class discussions required, and 12 one page responses to the books. Then there is a five page research paper. This is not an easy class, it takes many hours a week to keep up. Consider yourself warned.

Professor Berry is very clear about her expectations, and responds to questions and emails. Grades very quickly. There is a lot of reading and writing, and weekly quizzes. If you don't procrastinate, it is not a hard class. I learned a lot.

I have not taken a formal english class in almost 11 years. She, was a great help, and the reason for my success in the class, with studying myself of course. She is so reasonable and understand and is very very helpful. There is a lot of homework at the beginning, but once you understand how to do it its really not much at all. CHOOOOOSE HER!!!!

Professor Berry expected a lot of reading and writing from the ENG 267 class. However, she is very clear about her expectations, when you have a question she will answer promptly, and her feedback on writing is very helpful. In my class there was unlimited rewrites to improve your grade.

This teacher is honestly amazing, her way of going about ENG 102 is not convoluted at all. She is VERY clear on what she expects for each assignment. And, if you do not understand, email her she respond quickly! There is a lot of work but she is not too strict about it. Late workone less opportunity to re-submit assignments out of 100.

This class, while it has a heavy workload, is still enjoyable! There is a LOT of reading and writing, so just make sure you have the time for it. Professor Berry allows rewrites to improve your grade, and her feedback is always clear and helpful. She's also really funny! Remember to participate in discussions. This is a good class for writers.

Best teacher if you need to work on your editing. She allows unlimited rewrites as long as you get your paper in early. She edits everything and tells you where you are missing things. Also, her weekly tests have also the answers posted on Quizlet.

Took this professor on a four week section. This was a lot of work! She makes it a lot easier though, answers emails quickly, and grades even quicker. Rewrites are allowed for better grades as long as the paper is turned in early.

The amount of homework was a little outrageous for the majority of the course. Toward the end, maybe the last four weeks, it was manageable. The good thing about this course is that you can turn in homework as late as you want and can still receive full credit. She gives feedback on essays and allows you to rewrite them to receive a better grade

Professor Berry is awesome and gives great feedback. There is a ton of homework for the course. You have to do the work if you expect to pass. I actually had a good cry(aka breakdown) from shock at the amount of homework. The class is great and the professor works with you on late assignments. Total of 3 papers are assigned for the semester.

Professor Berry gives a lot of work to do! However, she may be the most lenient teacher I have ever met when it comes to deadlines. As long as you have everything in by the last day of school it's okay. I've never finished a textbook before and for her class I did 2!!! Always unlimited rewrites of everything as well!

I took her 4 week, summer, English 102 Course. Yes there is a ton of course work in a short amount of time, but it is doable. I learned more in 4 weeks than I learned in my full semester 101 class. You can tell she truly cares about her students. She gives you so many tools to use. Her feedback was awesome and truly helpful.

Despite the amount of work she gave us, she was truly a great professor and gave helpful feedback. Just be ready to read and manage time wisely and youll do just fine.

Prof. Berry was great. She made a boring topic interesting. She also made sure that while there was a lot of homework, it was useful practice. Also, she personally speaks to you when it comes to responses for your papers, and gives you chances to improve your grade on those papers.

You will read about 100-120 pages each week, and write at least 10 pages of responses + a research paper over the term. BUT you get to choose from a plethora of topics. She allows unlimited rewrites, and her feedback is invaluable. I rewrote at least half my papers and received 100 on the those.

At first, it does seem daunting at how much homework there is, but the Professor makes it easy to follow and keep up each week. There are a few papers to write and a research paper, but it's only as hard as you make it. She offers unlimited rewrites as long as you turn it in before the due date. I wish I had taken her for my other English Classes.

Professor Berry is by far the best professor I have ever had. Sure, there is a lot of work but what do you expect, it's college. Professor Berry allows unlimited re-writes and is always available when you have a question or concern. I was in her class last semester and went out of my way to take another English class because she was teaching it.

In this class, you will have to write four papers. The good thing is, after you turn it in, she gives you good feedback and you have unlimited chances to make it right. If you have a busy schedule, I recommend that you do not take this course since it is a lot of work.

Teacher is actually really caring and wants you to pass. Instructions aren't the best. I was completely confused a lot but she answered any questions and if she didn't classmates did. If you do the work and early you'll pass with an A. Don't wait to the last minute!

A writing & reading heavy class but manageable if you pace yourself well. You get to choose what you want to write about for every writing assignment, get unlimited rewrites, and receive helpful criticism on your papers. Not too harsh on grading as long as you can properly write and back up your claims.

You will have a lot of homework with this class and a lot to write. The instructions aren't the best and it's all reading. She gives good feedback on the each assignment. If you choose this class, be smart, do your work early. You will be stressing yourself out for no reason. You can turn in work late. Very strict on grading but chill professor.

Prof. Berry presents an overwhelming amount of info on Canvas, with weekly sections detailing the necessary details for success. Once I got over the "wall of text" which was intimidating, I did find it enjoyable. She's a funny person and it shows in her writing. Around week 9/10, it becomes more manageable. My advice: to read material carefully.

Professor Berry is the best professor I have had. She gives feedback on every assignment and allows you to correct your work. There is a lot to do, but she is a fair grader. If it wasn't for her flexibility on due dates, I would not have been able to keep up with my other classes. I highly recommend this dedicated Professor.

Great professor, took in summer for 4 weeks, gives you many chances to fix mistakes. Read the directions!! 20 activities (breeze through, just have good memory) start every assignment the 1st week Cerego, 5 papers, one research paper and reply to discussions, and you got an A. Definitely gonna remember this teacher. Changes your mindset in 4 weeks.

Others rate her harshly. I get where their minds are at. They're wrong. Classes are handled like a college class. Show up, do your work, get your grade. It's a lot of reading, and it's hard work. But she also gives you the room you need to make mistakes and not be *punished* for it as long as you are working hard.
