great prof. interesting lectures, you can tell she devotes her time to them. quizzes based on attendance, and no surprises about the material.

Best class ever. We watched the Lion King in class, and she gives out candy! ALL tests (including final) are open book, don't need the textbook at all, questions are straight from your notes. all you have to do is show up and speak for an A.

Great professor great class. She uses outside examples to help you understand the material. There is no homework, no text book to buy and the tests are 15 multiple choice/fill-in and you get to write all of your notes in a bluebook and use it for the test.

she can be boring at times, and it takes her an hour and a half to get thru 3 slides but she explains everything in great detail and helps you understand the material. very nice lady.

The only reason this class was easy because you got to use the blue books. The tests are really hard but all the info are in the slides. PCC can help you boost your grade. Overall she was a fair prof.

She's a nice professor but she won't go out of her way to help you. She lets you bring in a blue book for each test (3) so the class is pretty much an easy A. However, it's one of the most boring I've sat through (we go through about 3 powerpoint slides per 1 1/2 hour class). Bring something to keep you busy.

Fill-ins annoying need exact knowledge of the definitions of crap. No HW no use text teaches from blackboard slides only earn up to 12 extra credit points by doing 3 minute talk each unit. easy yet torturous.

Quite possibly one of the nicest and easiest teachers at Hofstra...The class is out of 115 points and since I already have 98...I have an A and am exempt from the final...If you could find a way to fail her class... you should be embarrassed. I mean, there are extra credits that add 20 points to your average, how could you possibly fail??? JEEZ!

Dr. Comer is the best. The class itself is not very hard, but she is so clear and is so interesting to listen to (even for a 9:35 class)! There are three tests and two papers. I got an 18 out out 15 on the second paper (no, that's not a typo). She gives so much extra credit. Ended up with 103 in the class. DEFINITELY TAKE HER IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE

I took her for Distance Learning during summer, and she was very responsible and prompt with answering questions and emails. We had a quiz and homework every day, but we didn't have an exam, which is... awesome? She also gave extra credit assignments in case you needed it. She's an awesome professor, I would definitely recommend her!

Very interesting character but unbelievably kind. While the subject matter isn't the most interesting she presents it is an entertaining and interesting manner. I could not imagine a better instructor for the material.

Took Dr. Comer for 101 and decided to take her Honor's College Seminar "Moral Courage In Organizations." I definitely don't regret it! She is seriously one of the best professors the business school has. Such a kind woman and always willing to go out of her way to help. She helped me so much with some bad real life situations at work, too.

The nicest professor I have taken so far. Plays great/classic music at the beginning and is very energized and engaging during her lectures. Two midterms and a final: multiple choice and fill in. Also, many opportunities for extra credit. Great experience.

Easiest class at Hofstra. She talks about nothing for an hour and a half. She's actually kind of nutty. A monkey could show up only on test day and get a 100. She practically gives you the answers to test questions in class. If you want an easy A, Comer is the way to go.

Dr. Comer is one of the sweetest professors at Hofstra. She can be quiet at times but her intelligence and wit makes up for it ten-fold. Her class is a joy and quite interesting, especially if you are a managment major. Depending on her class she may or may not require attendance. Definitely take !

Class is ridiculously easy. All of the assignments are done online, there is a one question quiz due before each class to make sure you know the material. No final and tons of opportunities for extra credit. Take her if you get the opportunity, do the work and come to class for an easy A.

Comer is a great professor for an intro class like Management 101. She gives her long lectures but doesn't have a textbook or give exams. There are one question quizzes before almost every class and a lot of small outside assignments. Attendance is also a must - show up and do the homework and its an easy A.

Dr. Comer is an amazing professor. Class is super easy. No textbook or tests. Your grade is composed of a bunch of small, but easy assignments that you complete throughout the semester, all are online. Her lectures are a little boring at times, but if you pay attention you could get something out of it. No electronics are allowed in the class.

Easiest A I've ever gotten. Show up. Participate a little. Don't be on your phone because she hates that a lot and will lower your participation. No midterm or final just one quiz. Ff you get 100% you get extra credit and its the easiest quiz on earth. Do all the assignments on time. They take 5- 10 minutes tops and gives you easy grades.

Her lectures are a little boring for non-management majors but it's definitely an easy intro class. Although she doesn't make attendance mandatory, she doesn't post any notes online so if you don't go you get no notes. 3 NON cumulative tests which are pretty simple as long as you study the material.

Attendance is not mandatory but class notes can be used on the test so you need notes from every class which you cannot access if you missed. One video project that is super simple. She gives what you deserve. She will give you so many extra credit opportunities and will facilitate the class for you. Of course, you have to put in the work and be willing to show up, participate, and complete assignments. There are recorded modules and quizzes along with tests that are not cumulative that are easy as long as you study.

I took Professor Comer for MGT 101 online during the summer session and it was definitely easy to get through. She provided notes and a quiz for each module and each of the topics were very interesting. Because of taking this class I switched my major from Undecided Business to a Management major.

Dr. Comer is the best and is a must have for MGT101. The bulk of the course is divided into different modules with online quizzes for each section along with 3 easy tests. The hardest part about this class is the presentation, which even that is pretty straight forward. In case you mess up, she gives lots of extra credit opportunities along the way

I took Professor Comer for MBA 214. She is excellent! In my opinion, an easy A. Just show up. There are no tests or quizzes. However, there was a midterm (read an article and answer a question on Blackboard) and a final exam (watch a documentary and basically writing a paper etc). I love her sense of humor.

I took MGT101 as a summer course. Comer nurtures her students provide excellent feedback, and embraces student participation within her class. She understands that tests are not an accurate reflection of your retention of the course material. She is truly a gem in the ruff within the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

Wonderful professor. very easy class if you do the bare minimum and you can "control f" your notes for tests and quizzes because they're open book and ace everything. Class is so large that she doesn't really count absences. just show up on the vital days.

Professor Comer is a veteran at Hofstra in the most respectful way. MGT 214 is an easy going class, you have 6 hw assignments. You choose 3 articles and write a reflections about them. One midterm assignment, and a final which may change in terms of options every semester. No test or quizzes here but attendance and participation matter!

Easiest A you could ever receive, love Professor Comer! Classes are boring, one project you will need to present to the class, and 1 question quizzes for every unit so if you do the work it's an easy A.

The professor was good and made lectures not boring. there is a lot of reading but the class wasn't hard at all. As long as you do the work you should get a good grade, she is an easy grader. Mid-term and final were both take home and you have multiple days to complete them.

Class is reading heavy - need to complete 5 reading reflections where you read 3 articles and write about them. 1 midterm and final assignments that are both take home (not exams).

The sweetest, most caring professor I ever had. She takes the time to ensure all of her students understand the material. She encourages participation a lot, but will NEVER make anyone feel bad for asking questions even if its unrelated. She wants students to do well. Material is easy, tests and quizzes are open book/take home.

She is an absolute gem of a professor. She makes the lectures very accessible for all students, and as long as you do the HW and the 1 presentation you are almost guaranteed an A in the class. The exams are done online asynchronous and are all taken directly from the class notes. I would highly recommend you take her for management 101.

Professor Comer is a truly sweet person but she does not let her niceness get in the way of the classroom. He expectations are straight from the beginning on what she expects. Do the work and you will do fine. The Presentation counts for a majority of your grade but its light-work. Take if you want an A.

She's so nice and her class is incredibly easy. Attendance is not mandatory but she doesn't post notes and you have a quiz after every finished module. You have two presentations on the AI software Ovation. You have two movie based assignments and that's it. You literally cannot fail this class. Only bad thing is that class is so incredibly boring.

One of the best professors I've had! She is incredibly caring and truly wants her students to succeed. She expects strong effort at all times. Her lectures are informative, and her sweet nature makes the class very enjoyable. Management and organization are important, and she is an excellent professor to introduce these skills.
