She is a interesting teacher if you like to read and write american literature. She had an assignment due in every class meeting and allows you to revision some papers once. I really did not enjoy her teaching but overall okay.

I loved her class! She is definitely not an easy A. She has an essay due every class, but allows you to revise most of the assignments, that she corrects b.t.w., so that you can at least get a C. I payed $12 dollars in total for her books, which were notebooks only. She really knows how to prepare you for a college level class.

Just go with the flow. She will help you if you ask for it. Really helps you prepare for a University.

A heck of a teacher who is also VERY cognizant of what is going on out there in the real world. Anyways, I got an A in her Winter session class and it wasn't easy. She will challenge you and will not baby you which is what I like. All you high school kids who got over in high school English, don't even try to think Hall will be that easy.

We got her when our prof J. Magwood stopped showing up for the class. Debi Hall is a great prof and an easy grader, although at first she seemed very intimidating. However, her instructions were crystal clear, she did put effort into helping those who were failing, and she helped me to structure my essays flawlessly so I will recommend her.

After I took Prof. Hall for 28 and 101, I got to take her 103 class. By the end of the semester I could not believe that I could actually write excellent papers. I had no idea what an argument essay is two years ago. Now, I use those skills she taught me in every university class I take.

I have learned more than I ever thought I would. Prof. Hall gives honest comments. At first I freaked out because this class is hard. If you just follow her directions, you will learn.

I took Eng 101 a year ago and I still miss Ms. Hall's class. She gave you outlines, all you had to do was write what she wanted. Really fun papers IMO. She cares more about her students than any other teacher I've had. She wants good quality work but she offers to help you through it. Lots of papers but consider the class you're taking.

Hall is a teacher to end all teachers. If you respect the work, she respects you. She does not waste your time or hers, and when she says she'll cover a topic in 5 minutes, she'll cover a topic in 5 minutes. She is responisble for me becoming a published author. Word to the wise: Be on time and listen to her, that's two of her biggest expectations.

I am taking her online class for English 102 and it is a cool online class. She makes her assignments interesting enough to keep you engaged. Although, I would say sometimes her instructions can be confusing. I suggest messaging her often if you are taking her online if you are confused.

English was always my least favorite subject, but in some crazy way she managed to make it enjoyable. You get to write about your favorite music, your favorite movie, your favorite book, etc. Course is very back-heavy so don't fall behind.

Prof. Hall was an easy class because everything is explained in video tutorials and while at times she over explains something- the lesson is there and easy to complete. It was an enjoyable course, it was not hard and as long as you do the work- you will get an A.

I took Professor Hall's online class and it wasn't extremely difficult but at times I did need to be on top of every assignment and make sure it was exactly how she wanted it to be done. Make sure to read all her modules and watch all her videos!

Professor Hall's class is an easy A- just make sure you read all the modules and watch her videos. She's very into deadlines so do not submit anything late. The only issue I had with her was that whenever I had questions on the instructions, she refused to answer me. Overall, I learnt a lot and definitely recommend.

She is awesome and really cares. Follow the rules and you will probably do well. She lets us pick topics that mean something to us instead of making everybody read the same thing. Tons of freedom to explore. I'm so used to doing chapter work that this course was AMAZING because I learn everything.

Professor Hall approaches the class with a lot of creativity and enthusiasm. It does not feel like a typical English class which may bother some students. ONLINE CLASS - Professor Hall is amazing! I would definitely take her again and again and again. I was quite intimidated at first with the curriculum in general but she has the semester organized and full of information. If you don't understand anything, set up a zoom or just email, she's positive and inspiring and only wants to see you succeed.

Prof Hall is a great teacher and was very understanding. She made us confident in our writing skills. If you are somebody who likes following EXACT directions this is definitely a class for you. The work assigned was pretty average so it isn't too overwhelming. The hardest part is keeping up with dates since a few module assignments skip around.

Be sure to keep up with due dates. Amazing teacher. Really cares and tries to help everyone.

It's an online class, so you have to pay attention to what's due. She goes out of her way to help. I had zoom meetings with her to help me write an essay and she was amazing. People complain because they don't do the work, never log in the course and then complain that they didn't get the grade they wanted. You have to work for this class!

I love English in general but I enjoyed Professor Hall's course when I took 101 that I made sure I signed up for her 102 English course. she makes everything so organized and her modules are flawless .I like that no text book is required, it makes the course enjoyable.

I took the English 103 class during fall. I absolutely hated online classes before, but after taking this class. I overcame my fears and I enjoyed this class. She gives constructive feedback and grading is fair in my opinion. As long as you read the modules and do your assignments and submit on time. It's an easy A. Her online class is easy!!

The difficulty level of the class is really not that bad, but there are two big essays. She provides a video for each assignment. As long as you put in the work and READ carefully of what you need to do you should be good. She is an amazing professor.

Took her over the summer and it was generally a good experience definitely a solid choice to get your credits in. Some of her modules are a bit confusing so don't leave assignments till the last hour. Teaches you how to write essays the correct way just make sure to listen to the corrections she gives you.

Every single negative review for Professor Hall is from people who do not want to learn, just want the credit for doing absoutely nothing and then compain because they fail and their lame excuses didn't work. I've taken Professor Hall for 3 classes. Her assignments are so much fun, but you do have to rqed the instructions and learn something.

My first class at C Sun literally everything she taught. I was the only one who knew what to do. Because of her class.

She knows what is coming at the university and prepares you for that. I am at USC this semester and I'm already ahead of my class because of the things she taught in this course. This isn't easy, but if you follow prompts and tutorials, you'll be fine.

Class isn't easy, but if you put the work in and stay on top of her assignments you will be successful. If you have any questions or clarifications be sure you visit her office hours. She provides feedback on essays and tells you what you did wrong or right.

This class is not your standard run-of-the-mill easy CC GE class, you have to put effort into getting the grade you want. That said, its not as difficult as a STEM class either. Her instructions are very clear, and she makes her own examples for almost all assignments which were super helpful. Going through the module gives you good expectations.

Now that I'm at the university I realize that everything she said was right. Every direction for writing of essays was exactly what I needed to do to get ready for university essays. Thanks to her, I know exactly how to organize papers. Best prof ever.

The course was fantastic—learned to write compelling research essays. However, working alongside unprepared high school peers was challenging. A more mature group would have been ideal.

This is a great professor. I am in high school, and I can't believe how immature some of the people in this class were. We have these cyber cafe groups, and I got so sick of how these kids were. I loved the class, did my work and did my best and she helped me with everything.

I have to say that this is the best prof at valley. I went to office hours and she helped me. If you take the class do the other members of a class a break and actually post like a real person. Just do the work and you'll do great. Nobody gets special treatment which I really liked.

I never had a professor grade everything so fast. You turn in work on Sunday and she has it graded and back to you by Monday around noon. Every week she keeps up with grading. That helped me so much. If I had a question about the grade, she answered within a couple of hours. Feedback was always great. Too many profs don't grade for weeks.

I learned so much. If I'm honest, I complained that she is nitpicky, but it was the bet thing that ever happened to me. I needed that kind of help since this is my second language. So msny profs just pass you on so you never know if you are doing it right. She has great assignments and helps in office hours. Its not hard if you take your time.

This was a special class. She lets you pick the lit you want to read and also has a film study unit and you get to write your own lit. Everything is graded the next day so you get immediate feedback. Best teacher at valley.
