Really cares about her students. Everything graded really fast.

She has tutorials all over the class. Real helpful. She is a great teacher.

Professor Hall is a fun and adventurous teacher who really provokes your mind. Everything is clear and there are no complains about her class. She cares about her students and knows that the submission links dont work at times, so she gives you time to re-turn in the assignment!

Professor Hall is a wonderful teacher, and she really wants you to succeed. She is also understanding, and I really like that. If you put effort in all your work, and you turn it all in, you should pass with an A.

Great Professor! She truly cares & is very inspirational. She gives bonus points and offers great feedback. Very fast grading and pretty easy assignments. Few discussion board ?'s, a few writing assignments and a ton of tutorials to help you along the way. I got confused with all the pages I had to read in the modules and what she expected. Loved!!

Professor Hall will be the sweetest professor you'll ever have, and her kindness also bleeds into her grading; This is a VERY easy course if you love to write. As long as you put the correct heading at the top of your paper, you should get full credit along with the papers you write. One of the easiest online classes I've ever taken

She is a great professor and gives good deed back. Her education plan is chronologically mapped out and done with precision. She is amazing.

Professor Hall is good. Most of the information is in the modules on canvas and she expects you to read it, not email her for a quick answer. I found some inconsistencies in terms of word count requirements for the essays, maybe double check with her.

Reasonably easy class, only 4 essay papers, first 2 papers are very short. 7 assignments in total. She does grade on participation so make sure you reply to the discussion posts on time. Really nice lady, give feedback after each paper.

Professor Hall is such an amazing professor, one of the best Ive had. Her class is easy but requires work and time! She wants you to excel in this class so she puts so much time and effort in her modules. They are what really helped me in this class. She cares so much for her students! I wish I can take her again!

I just find essays to be difficult sometimes because I do not understand the concept of them.

Professor Hall, is by far the most understanding professor that I have had. She makes her assignments really fun, and she allows the student to pick their own topics which I thought was nice, because it makes writing essay easier and a lot more personal. She makes these videos and does an amazing job at explaining the assignments. 100% recommend

This is probably the easiest English course. There aren't a lot of assignments, but the grades for each is worth a lot. If you complete every part of the rubric, you get an A easily. Some of her material is a bit difficult to understand, but if you base your work off of the examples she gives, you'll be fine.

I took Professor Hall's English 103 online class. She is an absolutely amazing teacher. I have gotten so much better with preparing for essays because of her class. Would definitely take again.

THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! She totally cares about her students and their success. She is very involved and makes videos explaining all her expectations and requirments. She walks you through step by step. I hated English before taking her class, I took 101 in the summer and had to take her 103 class this fall! TAKE HER, you won't regret it!

Really nice lady. For this class, make sure to respond to the announcements as they are graded and most of your assignments are papers you choose and get to pick your topic through her options. You pick these at the very beginning so make sure you respond quick to get the one you needed!

The class offers a numerous amount of modules to read and study but as long as you do the work you will pass.

It gives you the opportunity to research and write about your own content. She does not give you intel on submitted work. Just a grade with no further comments. Overall the course was easy and the content was fun!

Shes an awesome English 103 professor. She gives you enough feedback and answers any questions. I am currently taking her online class and she gives us enough information for us to get going with our work. Shes great... I would recommend her as an English 103 prof.

Professor Hall is AMAZING! Her lectures are very informative and give you clear insight into what you need to do for your assignments. Her essay prompts are much better than typical essays that I have grown up writing, she allows you to choose what you want to write about and be creative with it. Overall, a very easy class if you participate.

Professor Hall was the best English professor I have ever taken. There are not many assignments at all, but each is worth 100 points, and you have a very long time to complete them. She actually allows you to choose your topics based on certain situations, which makes it so much easier to write since you will have genuine interest in your topic.

This is a really nice professor. She is so accommodating and friendly if you need to take engl. 103, take her class! A lot of reading, but that is expected when taking an English course.

Straight to the point type of teacher who gives you everything you'll need before you ask for it.

She is firm in her syllabus but otherwise easy going. The course covers a time period and, within that limitation, the world is your oyster. Few assignments and you literally get credit for simply turning in 100% of assignments. Plus, she leaves helpful comments on each assignment so you always know where you stand.

Professor Hall is really great! Her English 103 is very foundational and you learn a lot. She gets right to the point in her lecture videos.

I never had a teacher care so much. She is so available. All you have to do is study the modules and you'll do fine. She is understanding and during all this covid she was always there to check on us. Her class is amazing and she makes writing fun and you still learn so much.

i don't usually post on these sites, but I just got a scholarship for my grad school and it is all because of Professor Hall. I wish I had taken her class for 101 and would love to take any other class with her. I had no idea really how to write a paper, and Professor Hall makes it fun to learn and I wrote the essay I used for my admissio advisor

Hall is a great teacher, and she takes the time to make videos that go over everything, so you know how to do everything and how to set up an essay and how to cite the right way. She is a fantastic teacher. I have taken her for two different classes. I love her

I have never had a professor like her. She is really talented and makes English interesting. She has videos, and the modules are full of information that is needed to be successful. Do not forget to CITE everything, and don't forget to add a word count.

Professor Hall is straight to the point and clearly explains to you what is required in her online videos with step by step instructions. She's forgiving on the first assignment and will give you a second chance to correct as she truly wants you to understand the rubric. Her overall class, for an online course, is very engaging. She is amazing.

Prof Hall is the best. Both of the negative comments are from people who were in my group. They always asked the group because they would not study. Instead of doing the work, they just complained. Prof. Hall did everything for them and they demanded more. I finally got into another group to get away from them. Hall is classy and a great teacher.

There were 7 of us and we didn't have to do projects, but we did have to post in the cafe, They were both so much trouble. We shared our email addresses and OMG they sent like a hundred emails. She seems eager to help, but when I was struggling to understand concepts for my essays, she just told me to scratch all my previous work and start over. For all our essays, some requirements on one page contradict requirements on another one, so it is complicated to know what exactly she wants to be turned in.

She's a great professor, very caring about her students. She is very particular in her directions on assignments. However, gives a lot of great feedback.

Professor Hall was very respectful to students and gave clear instructions to all of her assignments. She had many video tutorials for every step of the course which were very helpful. I greatly recommend taking one of her classes.

Of course as every other English class there is a lot of reading and writing. She gives ex, clear rubrics and explains in detail the assignment. She gives you good feedbacks all the time and tries to help you so you can do better. She doesn't take late work, plan on doing your work on time. She has her modules open so you can work ahead of time

I'm so glad I couldn't get AI to write my papers. The assignments are creative and easy if you just follow the directions. She will make you feel brilliant if you just study.

If you're going on to a university, this class is a must have. The directions are detailed b/c you will need all those to write papers correctly. She is funny and cares which is rare.

Professor Hall's class was a game-changer. Her funny lectures and picky feedback prepared me for university-level work. I am so far ahead of my peers at UCLA. Some of them don't even know how to create Works Cited. I am so grateful for ALL those picky notes about format.

This class is amazing if you just do the work and follow the rules. My only complaint was that I had to be in a discussion group with a bunch of high school kids who expected everything to be done for them. This class will prepare you for any university.

Fantastic class. Everything is laid out logically and by weeks. Very fair and quick grading the ONLY problem is all the high school children that are allowed to take the class. Not her fault. I'm an adult learner going to UCLA next semester and needed this credit. Listening to these spoiled high school people was ridiculous.

Amazing class. I'm a serious student who is transferring to UCSF. I wish I had been in a small group with students like me. I was stuck with high school students who expected everything to be done for them. She stayed fair and consistent.

Just do the work and you'll be fine. They will put people in the class that are a spoiled pain. Find the people in the discussion board that actually want to learn and ignore the others. It's a great class.
