She's a little nuts, but overall a great professor. She may seem nasty in class, but she is great 1-on-1. Lectures are kind of useless, but she literally gives you EVERYTHING you need to succeed on Canvas. Also gives blueprints for every exam. TAKE HER.

Let me start by stating how exceptionally designed this online course was. Dr. Kantor's online research class is concise and easy to follow. Each module flows into the next and there is clear grading criteria. Weekly discussion posts and a weekly assignment. Just follow the directions, stay on track and you will do well! Must take!!!

Class consists of 4 exams, a final, a group presentation, and a few PrepUs & ATIs. Provides a blueprint of important topics for each exam to focus on but then questions/answers sometimes are very random on the topic & not in notes/textbook. Guess she knows this b/c she drops multiple questions each exam. Can be very rude & condescending in lecture.

Class consists of weekly discussion posts where you must also reply to 2 classmates & a weekly module assignment. One quiz and 2 longer assignments- 1 is 10%, 1 is 25% of grade. Can be kinda picky w/ assignments so I recommend comparing w/ friends. Gives clear expectations and templates for longer assignments so easy A as long as you follow them.

Prof Kantor is TOUGH. It's so much info. She's a bit of an oddball but certainly has a good heart. She does give outlines before tests but they are kind of vague, though it's better than nothing. If I had the choice, I don't think I would take her again.

By far the best online class I've taken in my academic journey. Dr. Kantor is what every online professor should be because she understands how it works. She won't give you the warm and fuzzies, but if you follow her instructions it's an easy A. NO TESTS, two big writing assignments, and weekly discussions + assignments. Take her if you can.

Dr. Kantor seems to be very knowledgeable in the field, but lacks how to teach properly. Be prepared to get lost in class and teach the material on your own. She's okay if you're able to teach independently, but if you're not.. then I'd rethink taking NUR 2900 with her.

Dr. Kantor can't be described in a simple review. She's very complex, but so is med surg. You learn A LOT from this woman, but she is EXTREMELY difficult. You might not like it at first, but later you'll realize what an amazing professor she is and how much she taught you. Deep down, she cares a lot about her students. Study hard and good luck.

While Dr. Kantor knows what she is talking about and is a nice person, the material you learn in class and the material on the exams are very different. No matter how much you prepare, it is difficult to do well without a curve. She gives outlines for each exam but you have to find material from google and the textbook on top of lecture material.

For some reason she is a very polarizing professor. I loved her. I had her for clinical and lecture. She taught me a lot. Her exams are hard but she is willing to admit if the question is bad. She is a fair grader.

Tests do not reflect material discussed in class. Lecture is a waste of time. Basically have to go home and teach yourself everything or "look it up". Makes inappropriate comments and rude. All of her exams were similar except for the final. Huge curves on test and nothing on final. Do not recommend.

Honestly, she's an awesome professor. You need to work hard, but if you do; you will get a good grade. It can seem like she gets side tracked when she tells her stories but they have relevance and do stick with you when you get up to the exams. She is always willing to meet with you. She's a little wacky but she's great! I highly recommend her.

THE WORST! She expects students to learn everything on their own, and her exams are a nightmare. Molloy needs to take action against this professor because the entire class is struggling. Expects students to think like her and do well on the exam but it is impossible. WORST experience till now and I have two previous degrees.

a LOT of stories & she just reads off notes she posts. You have to fill-in the blueprints/teach yourself most the content. The exams are difficult because she has her own logic of answering questions and doesn't take responsibility in being a poor teacher. She's good to meet with for exam review, but otherwise GOOD LUCK and PRAY.

Dr. Kantor is a good person a little corky with dark and at times offensive humor but you learn so much in her class. Not everything on the exam can be found in her notes but she makes you really think. For her test, you have to know the basics, patho, and the priority problem then think through the question. YOU CAN'T JUST REGURGITATE INFO.

Dr. Kantor truly gets a bad rep. She is extremely knowledgeable and obviously wants her students to do well. Medsurg is difficult because it requires a new way of thinking, and that is what she is teaching you in this class, which is why students say her class is hard. Know patho & priorty and you'll be fine.

If you're in the ABSN program, she's the only professor for 2900. Lectures are completely useless and disorganized, yet she makes them mandatory. Most of the test questions have nothing to do with your notes or what you learn. You will have to teach yourself most of the material, and hope you get lucky with your guesses. At least she's friendly.

Professor Kantor is a nice woman but a horrible professor. She gives you a vague blueprint that has little to do with the exam. Her notes are like 25 pages long but she barely reads off them nor powerpoints. She just goes off whatever pops up in her head. She loves to tell stories that she claims are connected to the lecture but they aren't.

This is the best option for 389 because she is considerate of what u need to do. There's weekly assignments and discussions but they take like 5-10 minutes each. U HAVE to follow her grading criteria and it's an easy A+. If u just do ur own thing she does end up taking points off.
