She's lots of fun, and very sweet. I wouldn't mind having her as my second mom!

She's really nice and helpful and interesting/realistic! Take her for health and pass with a good grade! She takes attendace sometimes....gives the easiest quizs, you watch videos, and she reviews for every test! :)

It's a very easy class and she makes it fun. It is pretty much an easy A if you come to class.

Great teacher. A very relaxed classroom atmosphere. Unlike other health classes in that you do learn. Mrs. Tavasso knows her material, and you should enjoy the class. Tests are easy, and the class is an overall easy A.

Her class is very easy, lots of easy extra credit. I took it over the summer and she didnt make us do the big project which her class does during a normal semester. Her test were really easy, she tells you what is going to be on the test the day before. I got an A in the class and barely studied

Definitely a great professor... she makes the class as easy as it could be but still gets the message across. Her tests arent too rough and she makes sure to explain everything clearly. Shes a great lady

This is a very easy class. She lets you know everything you need to focus on for the test instaed of giving random info. You learn a lot at the same time.

I loved this class! It was my easiest class all semester. Finding time to do the volunteer work was difficult at times, but it felt so rewarding after it was all done. I would definitely recommend taking her over any other health teacher. Easy A if you just do the work. Very little studying involved.

This was definitely my favorite and easiest class this semester. Fitting in time for my volunteer work was hard, but very enjoyable. The tests were harder than I expected but she curves and gives extra credit. No excuse not to make an A. Tavasso is one of the best people I have met at ECU thusfar.

Honors section. Dr. T is soooo nice. She's very lenient and easy, too. This was my easiest class. She genuinely enjoys her subject (especially the sexual health part). She's so nice, she invited any student who was stuck at school over the Thanksgiving holiday to come eat with her family. You will love her, and it's an easy class.

Go to class..take notes (all powerpoints). Do online assignments & quizzes. Study for test & you will pass. Shes very nice bt can be boring id take her again tho. There is NO WAY you could possibly fail her class unless you just dont go.

Great teacher. Really easy class, I took it as an elective. There are two project, but they are both easy. One is a group project and the other is by yourself.

She is a great teacher and it shows that she loves what she does. Class breakdown: 2 projects.. 1 a group presentation (easy)and a written one (moderate... There are 4 exams all fairly easy class avg. A's and B's on all exams. She does take attendance but it wont affect you unless you constantly have missed a significant amount of days

She is a great teacher! She is really nice. I had her for health 1000. She gives study guides for all three tests. As long as you keep up with the online quizzes, discussion boards (2) and bring your workbook completed the ONE day a week she asks you to come to class, you will be fine. She allows extra credit! Take her!

You are only allowed to miss 3 day but this class is very easy. There are only three test which she curves them all. She bleeds purple and gold. She is very helpfull and a great teacher! Take her if you can.

Very sweet lady. Nice as she could be. Extremely knowledgable of material. She wants you to be aware of current diseases and cares about her students. Go to class and you will be suprised at what you didn't know. Require some work. Do your workbook and listen to what she says and you will earn an A. Give her respect and she will do the same!

She is soo nice. Tests are straight from the study guides, and all homework is online. Its impossible to get a bad grade in this class. Mrs. Tavasso is extremely smart in her field, and she really cares about her students. Def recommend taking her. just do your workbook and go to class the one day a week she has class, and you'll be fine.

Mrs. Tavasso is THE BEST. 3 tests, 2 projects, all graded SO easy and you can miss up to three classes. Sweetest woman ever, grades quickly, responds to emails quickly too. Just wish she taught more upper-level health classes. LOVED her!

I personal thought that she was way too excited (not necessarily a bad thing, but not a good thing either). She knows a lot. I just did not like her personality, but I know a lot of other students think shes great. If you forget to do an assignment, she extends the time. She helps everyone as much as she can. Her tests are super easy.

Dr. Debra is one of the most easiest and lenient professors I had so far through my freshmen year. She knows what she is talking about and uses powerpoint to help the students learn. Her tests are easy -- long but easy. They're mostly common sense questions. I would definitely recommend taking her class considering health is mandatory

I strongly suggest taking Mrs. Tavasso. She has experience in the field, so she is very passionate about what she's teaching. Her assignments aren't hard, as long as you go to class and put forth a little effort, you are pretty much guaranteed an A. She wants to see her students succeed, and she gets grades back very quickly.

Super easy and such a sweet woman, I'm taking her again for my health 2000 class and have no doubt that she'll be great. Lots of extra credit opportunities study guides, and resources to take advantage of, i literally got a 100 in this class.

Amazing professor! She is the sweetest one I have had yet. She looks for the best in you work to give you the best possible grades. At first attendance was mandatory, but I didn't go all the time towards the end. It was an easy A, but most importantly I loved working with her.

Mrs. Tavasso is GREAT. All you have to do buy the health workbook do all of the assignments in it. She gives you study guides for the tests which help A LOT. She also offers extra credit if you donate blood, do volunteer work. You also have to go to passport events which is not hard. If you can GET HER!!! So worth taking it with her!!!!

Mrs. Tavasso is AMAZING!! She is the sweetest lady ever, and is SO lenient regarding when things are due. Material is easy, studying for the exams is hardly required to pass. I usually skimmed over the study guides, which are exactly like the test, and passed with a 98 in the class. Would definitely take her again!!

She is sooo sweet. She explains the content really well and makes it interesting. The tests are really easy and so are the assignments. I enjoyed the class.

Tavasso was my favorite professor of my first semester. We met once a week (depending on last name). Lectures were easy to follow. As long as you do your workbook and go to your passport events you should have no problem passing. Also many extra credit opportunities. I recommend taking her if possible.

Very easy class, it helps if you take the class with the basic understanding of public health. When I started taking it I was majoring in Public Health so I was very knowledgeable about the field. Many extra credit opportunities so it is not hard to make an A. As long as you go to class she basically tells you the answers for the tests.

Professor Tavasso really enjoy her field of study. She is a beautiful soul inside and out. I really looked forward to coming to this class each day. This class is a huge stepping stone to the next level courses, in that it prepares you. I loved her and even though I graduated, I still keep in contact with her. God bless!

TAKE MRS. TAVASSO!!! She was easily my favorite professor this semester. Her class was SO EASY! Her class is once a week she divides it up by last name. There's an online lesson along with a quiz (5 questions each) once a week and she gives study guides for the test and that is it! She gives so many extra credit opportunities and she is so sweet.

Very easy class. She split the two days so one was in class and the other online. Gives out a ton of extra credit so there is no reason why anyone should not get an A. You have to attend two passport events, which are really fun. No cumulative final. Do not need the textbook.

She is super nice and really enjoys teaching the class! You only have to go one day a week the other is online. If you do all the assignments the tests are common sense and she offers a lot of extra credit. Easy A.

Mrs. Tavasso is the best professor for HLTH 1000, definitely take her if you can. The textbook is not required in class, yet it will help when doing the study guides. If you go to class, do the online work, and the study guides you'll definitely get an A.

SWEETEST MOST CARING PROFESSOR EVER. I took Health 1000 with her and made sure I signed up for Health 2000 with her as well because she is such an amazing professor. She really enjoys what she does. Love love love her.

Didn't even bother to buy the online access code and made an A without it. Tests are common sense except the second one (do the study guide)!!!! Do your workbook and online quizzes and you'll be fine. Also offers SO much extra credit such as surveys by ECU, getting blood drawn, etc. Her GA was also really good and funny. I enjoyed him a bunch.

She is so funny and lights the room up. Honestly, she makes the semester go by much nicer. Supportive and wants you to actually pass her course; very informative. Should be an easy A in this course. Make sure to just do your work and you'll make an A. Don't underestimate the course though, seriously, make sure to do your work and you'll get an A!
