Dr. Ahmad is the BEST professor I have ever taken! She inspired me to follow my dream of one day becoming a doctor, and since she is one, she knows all the do's and don'ts of how to ACE this class and build a solid foundation for the rest of your science studies. And if you ever need help, she is ALWAYS there to help you. Take this class!!!!

Honestly, if you have a love for Biology or any other science courses, YOU WOULD LOVE Professor Ahmad!! She really knows what shes teachings, and really cares about how you do in this class. She will go out of her way to help you understand the topic. If she taught other science courses, I would DEFINITELY take them. Best science professor ever!!

Taking Bio your first semester of college is daunting, but Dr. Ahmad made that task possible. I cannot thank her enough for her help on concepts, assignments and the labs! Take this class if you are serious about school and learning, (pre-Med people) and if so, you will do will pass with flying colors! Plenty of EC and opportunities to get that A!!

Dr. Ahmad is there for you if you don't understand, she will explain the subject for you. I took her class fall of 2014 and I got a B in the class.

Dr. Ahmad's class was by far the most rewarding class I have taken in college. She will make you work and LEARN the material, unlike other science teachers. This makes all the difference when applying it to upper level classes, if you are a Bio or Pre-Med major. I cannot thank her enough for the help, and support. Wish she taught MORE classes!!!

4 tests, and their easy if you READ! This course-with any professor, will require you to take time (a lot of time) to study. Really read the textbook, and learn from mastering, and labs. Shes funny, and smart. She boosted my grade up, she's really kind. Not really any hw. some EC. has an accent. She's not that great, but she aint bad. STUDY!

This teacher is amazing! She is inspirational, nice, and wants her students to be successful. Four tests, she drops the lower scores, and gives lots of extra credit!

This class would seem intimidating at first with the 3 difficult tests and final, but soon you will get with the flow. Lowest score is dropped. If you want to pass with a high grade, I suggest you do a lot of READING and UNDERSTANDING of the materials. Bonus points saved my skin, so look forward into that! Masteringbio and labs is a must!

She is a good professor but I hate how it is 3 test and she does not give a study guide, you have homework to do online and on Thursday you have labs to do in class. If she gave more test and study guides I would've got an A+. Her idea of a study guide is running through little things you learned ;(

Simply said, if it was not for Dr. Ahmad I would not have passed Bio 1. My dream of becoming a doctor, and my career path are forever altered because of the amazing experience in this class. Professor Ahmad is very caring and genuinely wants all her students to pass. She does a lot of powerpoints in class which can be boring at times but if you don't understand something she is willing to spend the whole class period to explain it. Do your readings and actually do Mastering Biology (not just google answers) and you will earn an A.

Biology is a tough subject, but Dr. Ahmad helps her students learn the material for her exams. She has three tests, all from her powerpoints. Make sure you read. She is there for her students, and I cannot thank her enough for the help and support she showed to our class that helped me ace the class! Dr. Ahmad, you are the best!

To begin with, the professor has an accent. Her class is very lecture heavy and you won't understand much if you don't read the textbook. Not a lot of homework, just mainly reading your textbook. Tests are 60% of your grade so you NEED to study if you want a B or higher. Stay away from this professor unless your okay with a C for minimal effort.

I took this course over the summer which made it a bit more difficult, but even with the shortened time frame in Dr. Ahmad's class we were able to go over everything necessary to understand the course. If you are going pre-med or any health science route I recommend her for sure. Very helpful and insightful once you talk to her and she knows you.

There is no Professor who is more kind, respectful, and caring than Ahmad. She answers any questions I had, and made biology (a very tedious subject) understandable. I really learned the value of education in a very short period of time. Ended up acing the class :) Thank you so much!

Her accent is not something that will be in the way. I had her for Summer 2017. She has powerpoints already made and she spends the time going over the lecture. She grades the test fairly quickly and even goes over them after it's done. I seriously loved this teacher. She is super sweet and gives extra time and patience to all her students.

Check the reviews for all of the General Bio classes professors. They are mostly terrible. Which is typical for hard classes. This isn't a humanity course. It's a science course. It's supposed to be hard. But this professor will spend plenty of time explaining everything to you and go above and beyond to help in any way she can. A super nice woman.

Dr. Ahmad is great. She was a cardiologist in her home country and she really knows her stuff especially in Anatomy. Unlike most professors she cares and is EXTREMELY NICE. Takes it slow to go over things that other professors expect us to know. Not much time for labs though. Will need to read as with any science class. Wish she used Blackboard.

Amazing professor! A lot of people were always complaining, but they didn't put enough effort into the class. She is not a hard professor at all, but you need to be prepared to learn because we don't want to be a terrible nurse/doctor when we graduate. Break down the chapters and don't leave everything for the last weekend. Love her class!

She is very personable and cares for her students. She is willing to help her students in any way possible when they seek it. She LOVES participation! Dont be late or skip her class; its important. Study the PowerPoints and highlight the textbooks with the key points and you should do fine! She is a wonderful professor and I enjoyed each class!

Professor Deeba is Awesome! She cares about her students and makes the material easy, but if you don't study well, you won't pass and it won't be professor's fault. We, as health students, should be prepare for everything and work hard to get what we deserve based on our OWN effort.

This was my second time taking Professor Ahmad since I took her as well for BSC1010C and she is honestly the best professor I have had in Valencia. Super caring and always wants her students to get a good grade but also learn the material. I would definitely recommend taking Professor Ahmad, study hard for all the tests and read your textbook.

She made the contents of the class so much easier through her lectures. She is very caring and when students felt overwhelmed she quickly reminded us of how far we had come. There is some hands on. She gives, Lab tests, tests, homework, and a few quizzes. Your grade reflects what you know. She is awesome, I would take her class again.

Professor Ahmad is wonderful, I highly recommend her for anyone interested in the medical field. She provides great feedback and her lectures are easy to comprehend. Also, she is very caring with her students and wants to see them succeed.

I just love this professor. You learn so much from her but of course if you put your heart into the class. It is not as easy as getting an exam review where they give you basically the free grade; you will need to earn it studying. I recommended to anybody who is interested in learning.

She is a wonderful teacher. She loves to teach and really cares about her students. She uses a material in the power point that follows the points in the book making it easier to study for the tests. The class is challenging, but very inspiring, and if you want a good grade you will have to work hard.

Honestly, her lectures are good and she tries to interact with us. She is test heavy but some tests are easier than others. She makes her own test and the final is not accumulative of the entire course. She seems to care for her students and will answer the questions you ask. She consistently checks for understanding. Not easy, but a solid choice.

Professor Ahmad was an amazing professor. She was very clear on her lectures and the exams were based off of the book. I definitely recommend her if you want to learn and have a good grade in Anatomy. She also gives extra credit and lets makes her students feel free to ask questions. Dr. Ahmad is a fantastic professor. She wants her student to truly understand. If you're not strong in science, you might struggle like I did, but at the end of the day, I learned a lot. If you're going into nursing or majoring in science, this is what matters most, that you leave with a greater understanding of the human body not just an "A".

Great professor that does a good job at explaining. Must read text in order to do well but she does go over the main points in lecture. Weekly homework due online which is a grade boost but test are the main part of your grade. Few extra credit opportunities do help. Lecture and lab exams are tough but fair.

Dr. Ahmad gives thorough lectures. It's particularly helpful when she draws things out and explains in-depth. Her tests are HARD, but she lets you know what topics to study. Really understanding and gives a little extra credit. A&P is hard!! Your teacher can't memorize material for you. Ask questions and re-read the Powerpoints/textbook.

She is a GREAT professor. A&P is a hard class in general. Do not expect an A. You have to EARN your grade. She give EXTRA CREDIT!! She REOPENS LATE HOMEWORK!! There is NO ACCUMULATIVE FINAL!!She explains to you what you have to study for the exam. She can be fast during lectures and she gives weekly quizzes. But, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING HER!!

It was very challenging class but you learn a lot. She is very smart. Her tests are hard and it counts for 60% of your grade. My advice to you is never miss class & write a lot of notes from her lectures, & STUDY YOUR BUTT OFF. Get the textbook and highlight what she goes over. Dedicate yourself. She gives a lot extra credit and will help you out.

Highly recommend professor Ahmad. She loves teaching and it reflects. Take notes, all tests are off power points. She is great at verbally informing you of what to expect on your tests. Professor Ahmad was a great professor! Anatomy II is a challenging course but Deeba explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions. There are no dumb questions so just ask! Pay attention to lectures and highlight key points. (will help on exams) Very helpful professor who cares about her students!

I took Dr. Ahmad last semester for AP1. I had to put a lot of hard work and studying, and made a study partner in class to help learn the material. Any questions we had were answered, and most of all Dr. Ahmad was there outside of class to help us out. She even offered to meet with us privately to discuss the material. Tons of extra credit also.

Dr. Deeba is an amazing professor who cares for her students and makes sure they come out of every class knowing atleast one thing they didn't before they came in. She is a great teacher. When you don't understand something ask her she loves getting questions. Read the text before class and there isn't too much homework. This class tests percentage heavy so study hard. She is very understanding of personal life problems speak to her if you need anything.

Great professor, she really wants all of her students to pass. She has short pop quizzes but she tells you what materials to study and they help for test. Study power points and review the textbook and you'll pass. Homework assignments are easy just a little long. Take notes about what she talks about in lectures, they'll help you for test!

Professor Ahmad is a wonderful professor, she respects and cares for her all of her students' success and well-being. Participation matters in her class, she loves it when her students participate and ask questions. Do not skip class and beware of pop quizzes. I thought since this class is half hands on (Lab), it was going to be impossible. But, professor Deeba is well aware and thats what makes her classes great! Make sure you read the chapters, attend the zoom for farthing teaching, and do the exploratory questions, and youll be on your way to success!! Ill never forget this class or professor!!

Online class is different due to the school shutting down. But the class is very detailed and have all the lectures on demand. No reason not to do well if you study for it. Many of these reviews are students who just didn't do the work or get lazy because they want the class given to them due to the online format. Great professor

Professor/Dr. Ahmad goes out of her way to facilitate a structured learning environment that is conducive to a successful class. She truly cares about he students and gives fantastic feedback after each test. Invest in the homework within the modules, study hard and you will successfully pass this challenging class.

excellent professor, her lectures are great. Anatomy 2 itself is not an easy class, but the professor makes sure all of her students understand the topics. You can send her emails anytime and she'll reply to you without problems. To study you can use her powerpoints along with the book and the study guide questions she provides. Take her class!!!

Homework is easy and not alot giving you time to study. The tests are hard it's Anatomy it's always hard. I suggest you do all Homework. The tests for lab study the diagrams and you will be fine. The questions on exams some are multiple choice some you need to know the correct spelling of the Anatomy words to type in. The tests are 55% of grade.

Professor Ahmad teaches a difficult class. In reality, any A&P class you take (I or II) will take a lot of work. However, she is extremely caring and easy to learn from--albeit you put in effort. You don't have to attend her zoom sessions, if you're taking her online class. Absolutely DO watch the recordings, though! She wants to see you succeed.

It's crazy how people can rate Professor Ahmad so negatively when she gives students every resource and material they need to succeed in A&P. Don't let other reviews discourage you, she is an amazing professor and cares about you learning the material. 10/10 class, lectures are in-depth but easy to follow, don't procrastinate and read the slides :)

Dr Deeba takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and does her best to ensure the students understand and got their answers. She pays close attention to the students noticing when a topic needs to be reviewed and has no problem doing so. Her lectures were clear and concise allowing me to leave the class feeling good if not confident!
