I loved this class!! I hate politics, but he made it enjoyable, and I actually learned things! The class is very entertaining. I recommend it to anyone who dreads taking a polisci class.

Dr. Morrione lectures the entire time class meets. He starts exactly when class is supposed to, and ends exactly when class is supposed to end. If you are not a Political Science major then do not take this class. He is also a very subjective grader on essays and exams, while he might say he is not. An extremely hard class.

Great teacher really knows his stuff.very opinionated. Doesn't ask too much of his students, just takes good notes and you will do fine. He does lecture the entire time, however you will learn alot.

He is a great teacher, that loves the sound of his own voice. He tries to get you thinking about poitics. Will make you question what you know. Do your own research, try to prove him wrong, he loves that! He does NOT let class out early, ever!

Morrione is a hard teacher, but he is by far one of the best I have ever seen. He is hilarious and will go above and beyond for his students. He is highly opinionated so do yourself a favor.. if you think you know it all don't even try to take his class. His intellect with rip you to shreds. I've seen it done. Take him if you want to learn.

He is a very passionate and hilarious teacher. VERY bias and opinionated, and WILL shut you down if you try to debate with him. But that made it much more fun and engaging. He is very liberal (and gay?) and always talks about crazy republicans. Overall, he is an EXTRAORDINARY professor, and i absolutely loved the class.

Greatest professor at COC. Great sense of humor, and his lectures are fascinating. 3 papers, and go to class. He really loves what he teaches and has the best stories. Excellent taste in clothing as well.

If you are sensitive to your political beliefs and didnt think youre thinking could possibly be wrong, i would suggest not taking this class. he is outspoken and hilarious. 3 easy hw assignments, two tests (both open note so take REALLY good notes), and a paper that you should be creative with. coming to class and taking notes should be enough.

This class in particular seemed to have even more of a bias but that was important in his teaching style. I wouldn't even say he believes everything he says, sometimes his attitudes on topics would change with the theoretical timeline and it seemed like his opinionated teaching was a tool for understanding the material.

Thee best professor at COC. He is hilarious and will keep you interested the entire class period. Book use is rare, his lectures are what truly help on exams so I suggest coming to class and taking very thorough notes. Not a hard grader even though he may seem to be. His exams are written but as long as you show basic understanding,its an easy A.

Amazing, fun, energetic teacher. He is very passionate and brilliant so be fore warned he is very liberal and very outspoken, and will not even blink an eye before shutting down right wing propaganda...Be active in the class and he will be very kind to you and your grade...

An A is quite doable, assuming that you attend the lectures. Energetic, passionate, and (yes) very fashionable. I ended up enjoying his class immensely.

Incredible teacher, by far my favorite so far at C.O.C.. He does pace in front of his class and lecture from start to finish with almost no chance of getting out early, but no doubt he gets you thinking about vital issues. Great class to take whether or not you are interested in politics. Does, however require a lot of effort on your part.

His class was funny, informational, and very useful. He has a way of delivering the message in his own way so that you can get a better understanding of it. When you can relate the class to your life or even have an almost perfect understanding of a concept it makes going to class so much more effective.

He is an awesome teacher! It was like a SNL episode every class. Really funny and knows what he's talking about. If you're gonna speak up make sure you know where you're political beliefs stand (conservatives) because you can get teared down real quick. Come to class and be prepared to take notes!

He is a great professor. I remember coming to his class and laughing so hard to the point of crying. He is very liberal (which is not wrong at all) but for the conservatives be prepared to know your stuff if you are going to debate. He is hard on the tests. TIP: take really good notes some of the stuff is not in the book but it will be on the test.

The single best professor I've ever had. Very liberal both in politics and behavior, be prepared. If you take notes on every lecture you don't even need the book with the exception of 3 hw assignments. The whole class is based on 100 points, 35 for research paper, 15 for hw (5 each), 50 for tests (2). Not an easy "A", but worth it in quality.

This guy is awesome! highly enjoyed his winter class. He teaches you how to think for yourself, he's halarious, and very smart. He is a tough grader though, be sure to add lots of details in tests and papers. That's how you get an A in his class. He LOVES details. Definitely one of the best professors at COC.

VERY LIBERAL. if your a conservative, be forewarned. He's funny, but sometimes his jokes can be a little offensive. Don't talk unless you know what your going to say is right, because he will call you out in front of the whole class.

Dr Morrione is an EXTRODINARY professor. Very informative, beams of intelligence, so understanding/fair and he's wonderful to look at, as well. <3 I highly recommend everyone to take his class, especially if you want a clear understanding of how politics (really) work.

Dr. Morrione is one of the best teachers i've had. VERY intelligent man on every topic. Take good notes b/c he gives take home test. He gives 3 EASY hw assignments. Not only is he so intelligent he is also hot, he makes me have doubts about my sexuality, lol, I want him to be my erastes, LOL!

VERY funny teacher! He knows how to make the material easy to understand. He's very straight-forward with what he expects. He's a bit of a harsh grader, but will NOT give you a grade you didn't earn.

Completely lecture-driven with hardly any class participation necessary. I recommend it for people who don't like interaction. The work was a little tedious and time-consuming but there were only three assignments throughout the semester so it was overall a very easy class.

One of those professors that will change you forever and you're always going to look back fondly on his classes :) Maybe not the easiest to some, but I found his straightforwardness and genuine intellect and teaching ability to make the class easy. Plus, if you're a poli sci major, he is the advisor for the club, so its useful to take his class.

Fantastic teacher! I took poli-sci 150 with him in the summer and I loved it so much that I took his political theory class the following semester. Then, I loved that so much that I decided to change my major to political science! He is very smart. However he is tough. His grading style is also very interesting! Would recommend him to anyone!!

Def one of the hardest Professors I've had! Class consists of his lectures mainly, there are 3 assignments. Make sure to THOROUGHLY study for his tests! He really knows what he is talking about & enjoys the subject. He goes off on tangents but they're funny, he bashes on President Bush a lot haha good class to gain knowledge from BUT hard! Goodluck

LOVED professor Morrione's class. He is hilarious & very straight to the point. He is very outspoken so if you're sensitive I would not recommend his class. Also, he can be a little blunt which could be interpreted as rude. But overall, he made the topic so fun. He is one of the best professors I have had in a while. What you see is what you get.

Dr. Morrione is one of the few gems that College of the Canyons has. He has incredibly insightful with the amount of knowledge he has. If you're majoring in Poli Sci, I suggest you take Morrione for 150, 230, and 290. He is truly an exceptional teacher!!

I took PS150 with him in Fall '15, and am taking PS230 this Spring. Dr. Morrione is a great teacher, and attracts your attention with his passion for politics and (relatively) objectively-neutral critique of politicians (he's a political theorist), and has inspired me to gear towards becoming a Political Science teacher. I can't recommend him more.

Even if you don't like polisci, coming to class will be the highlight of your day because Dr. Morrione is just so darn funny. He has a caustic wit that makes the whole class laugh aloud, while ensuring that they actually remember the content. His engaging teaching style is incredibly effective in a class whose content can sometimes get dry.

I had Dr. Morrione in my first semester in 2016 and I could easily say I learned a lot more here than I did in my AP class. Just read, show up for lectures and have your paper planned out and you'll be solid. His brand of humor always made me remember what would be a typically bland subject and was clarify the topics we had discussed.

I took PoliSci 150 with Dr. M and he is honestly the best teacher I have ever had. I was so excite dto take another class with him. He is so funny and makes class interesting and something you want to attend. I 100% recommend taking from him.

I never thought I'd enjoy this class but Dr. Morrione made Political Science very interesting! I never got bored in his class because he gave great lectures. Nice guy, really funny, and super understanding. Class work load is not too much, you're assigned about four written assignments. Overall great instructor. I without a doubt learned a lot!

I thought poli sci was going to be boring but he made it really interesting. I took the class over winter so it was almost 3.5 hours and he made it feel way less. Just pay attention to his lectures, take good notes, and you will do well. Tests are also open note.

He is funny, witty and flamboyant. He does know his field so don't try to give him any BS during lecture because he will clap back with actual facts and intellectual insight. Lecture was informative, homework and papers pretty straight forward. He is a tough grader so make sure you actually put in the work. Notes are key to pass!

Absolute legend. Your whole grade depends on your two essay tests and your term paper, so you can pretty much ignore everything except the core ideas of Machiavelli and Nietzsche and get an A in 230 if you write your papers well. He's funny and gives interesting lectures and is lenient on extensions despite what he says. Grades strict but fair

His class was the very first one I took at COC and I really enjoyed it. I took it throughout the summer, met 3 days out of the week, each time for 3.5 hours. I was dreading having to sit for all that time in the beginning but he's really funny in his lectures and engages his students so the time goes by really fast. 10/10 recommend

super funny & makes class really enjoyable. i always looked forward to lecture because he's just so entertaining, and really knows what he's talking about. your grade is based off of 2 exams (they're just 2 take home papers - gives you a week to do them), and the term paper. he's a tough grader, but he's a fair grader. would 100% recommend

Dr. Morrione is a hilarious guy, and he makes the class go by very quickly. He's super knowledgeable on politics, so don't argue with him unless you want to get destroyed. There is a lot of reading in his classes. Your grade is dependent on your 2 take-home essays and a term paper. TAKE NOTES!! Pretty hard class, but I would do it again. Take him!

Professor Morrione is great. He gives incredible, engaging lectures. Though the class is lecture heavy, it is never boring. Everything he teaches is applicable in our lives and he goes above and beyond to motivate students to incorporate this knowledge into their everyday lives. I would absolutely take his class again.

This was the first class i looked forward to attending and never missed. He is very animated and his lectures were engaging. Made reading the material very enjoyable. I would recommend him to anyone! As long as you are able to make solid points and relate them back to the material you should be fine. He offers extra credit!

Professor Morrione does an excellent job of communicating very difficult material. There is much to be learned from a class like this and he makes it less painstaking than one might expect. Overally, a solid class to build a foundation upon whether you're interested in theory, philosophy, econ, or politics.

I really enjoyed Professor Morriones class. He gives amazing lectures. If you take good notes, youll do fine in the class, especially since tests are open note. He is a very hard grader though, and you have to work hard for a good grade.

Really enjoyed both of the classes I have taken with him. I received Bs in both. One of the best lecturers I have had. Sometimes goes off on rants but he always talks about everything that he had planned on. He does not cut you off from important info. The answers to his essay prompts are always in his lectures so pay attention and take notes!

I've never laughed harder in a class. I truly learned so much about our current government, every class was so interesting. The tests were so easy, but that's because you actually learned the information in class without much work outside of it. I honestly loved this class. Take this class, you won't be let down.

He does always give more than enough information during his lectures so make sure you jot it all down because it will help you a lot when it comes to test time! You will take two exams, but if you attend class and take good notes you will pass!

Probably the funniest Professor I have ever had. Dr. Morrione is one of the most interesting and intelligent people I have ever met. You have to work to do well, but ask questions and reach out, you will be fine.

The class was fun, and you are motivated to attend it with his witty humor and knowledge of politics. Fair warning, his grading criteria is unclear to me, and I tried my absolute best but could not earn an A. It is still a mystery to me, but in the end, he is an exceptional professor. His lectures were always very engaging, he gave a schedule ahead of time and didnt give out too many assignments. When it came to his grading, didnt understand how it worked at all but as long as you try your best, you will be fine. The class only has a handful of assignments and the majority of your grade is a midterm and final. Take good notes!

Great professor. His 150 class was much easier than his 290. Grading criteria was not clear but tried my hardest and communicated when I didn't understand something and he was extremely understanding/helpful. He is really knowledgable and his classes are very interesting and engaging. I have taken multiple of his classes and loved them all.

Take Morrione if you want to be challenged! His passion manifests into a class that will stretch your brain and reframe your worldview. The readings can be difficult, but manageable if you apply yourself. Do not expect to succeed by procrastinating or BSing assignments. I struggled at first, but I have never learned and grown so much from a class!

Dr. Morrione is definitely passionate about political science. The readings were not that difficult if you're used to reading, but I suggest taking notes to help you follow his lectures and integrate what you learn into the few assignments (2 short-answer critical analysis assignments, 2 3-5 page essays.) It helps that he's super hilarious!

Only 6 assignments from the semester, based off the readings. No tests just two papers, he gives good feedback on assignments and tells you what you need to do to get a better grade. His lectures are long but entertaining and he explains the readings. I learned a lot in this class, put effort in your work and you'll be fine.

Go to lecture and take good notes and you can get A's on his midterm and finals. He also gives assignments on current events that tie back to the subjects we have covered in class but I never understood how he graded those. He is a tough grader. I had the book but never read it.
