HORRIBLE TEACHER, gives no partial credit, and has trouble with his english

he ishorrible, i fell bad for him though he really stinks at speaking english, but in the end he gives you a great gift, so if you do take his course stick it through and it will pay off!!

this guy sucks. has no grading system except that everything must be perfect. boring. and i swear if he says the word agree one more time i WILL SNAP HIM IN HALF!

DO NOT take this professor for math. very bad teacher and is unclear in teaching material. even though he lets you use notes and book for his tests, it doesnt help because he doesn't go over things in class clearly. dont take him, hes not worth it

RUN SAVE YOURSELF! Stay away, very far away. He is horrible. It is 3 weeks before the end of the semester and we are still on chapter 2. Never ever take him. He can't speak english at all and he told us his native language is english. He hates helping

This guy doesn't know how to teach. Spends an entire class explaining concepts of basic Algebra and Arithmetic (e.g. - A 15 minute lecture on how FACTORING works.) Good for 4th graders, not Computer Science majors.

Whatever you do...do not ever take this guy. He is the most unclear prof ever! This is the only class I have ever dropped in my college career! What a waste!

Maybe if I ever had understood a word he was saying he might have been helpful. He was impossible to deal with. His tests were ridiculous. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

he is the WORST teacher. he babbles on about stupid stuff. he can barely speak english and even though our tests r open book we all seem to fail anyway. he is so unclear and makes things more confusing than they are. i dread that class. sooo boring. get out of the class as soon as u can. it sucks!

No NO NO!! Why didn't I drop this class!!!

VERY HARD! DONT TAKE HIM! He acts like its going to be easy and then you fail all the open-book/note tests! Very hard to understand and confusing. Work is very hard and he doesn't teach it very well! Dont take him!

Prof is horrible. Does not know how to teach let alone spell. He is not willing to talk test grades or even help out the student. He can take the whole 50 minute class just to do 1 problem, which is still confusing in the end. Have to show every step to every problem on tests. No calcs or you fail

This guy should not be teaching college level classes. I am a CIS major, I don't need a 20 minute lecture on factoring. I understood this concept in 4th grade. The guy also flips out randomly . . . "Do you agree?" and when the class says yes "WELL YOU SHOULD NOT AGREE." Take Vasko instead.

Worst teacher ever. Took in summer school. DO NOT RECOMMEND. He is annoying and can't teach. He'll spend the two hours trying to prove he's right before finally admitting the textbook was correct the whole time.

awful class. only take this class if you know exactly what you are doing.. otherwise, you'll never learn how to... hes very unclear, and not very nice. if you have any questions, dont. he will make big deal out of it front of everyone.. and he wont help you out.

Seemed really nice at first, but does not know how to teach correctly. He knows what he's doing, but he should not be teaching. Likes to lecture if you don't talk to him in class and he doesn't make his own tests which end up being almost impossible to take. Do NOT take him if you want an A or even a C

He's sucks as a teacher. He also is very irresponsible. He never teaches things clearly and tells you one way to do something and puts the other way on his test. He also is very irritable and snaps at other classmates.

Worst teacher I have taken in college. He was irritable and difficult to understand. He scheduled an appointment with each student for a project and missed mine twice, only to berate me for not seeing him. I did well in his class, but he is not worth taking.

Professor Khanna is a not a good teacher. He only knows one way to explain problems and gets frustrated when students can't seem to understand him. He states the class disappoints him many times and is very insulting in general!

I hate this man with a passion. He is rude, irritable, and cannot teach to save his life. He needs to retire NOW, or go back to india... he explains one subject 4 different ways and confuses people.. can take a whole class period on one math problem... DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

If you value your college experience do not take any classes taught by this man. He is irritable, very rude and cannot teach worth a damn. In half a semester we went over 3/4 of a chapter.

He only taught 3 of the 6 chapters how are we suppose to go into our program not knowing what we need. I will never have him as a teacher again. I already told another classmate to not take his class

Extremely horrible! Wouldn't allow us to talk to our peers for help, couldn't even be caught looking at someone else b/c you might be "disrupting the class". The tests are unfair and he lost my final! His teaching method is horrible and you're self teaching! DO NOT TAKE WHATSOEVER!!!

AVOID him if you can. He is rude to his students, does not address student questions, and grades none of the homework. On top of that, his accent makes him difficult to understand at times. Overall, he's NOT helpful, extremely boring, and annoying.

After a few classes, you'll be hearing "Do you agree?" in your sleep. If you're a whiz at math, he probably won't be so bad but if its a major handicap, you're in for a ROUGH ride!!

Khanna is a TERRIBLE teacher. He is rude, disrespectful, and acts like a dictator when teaching. He does not explain things, has no order to his class, and has terrible communication skills. Also, his tests are very hard due to his lack of teaching. AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS. I've never hated a teacher, but I do hate him.

I can only tell you I wish I would of saw these reviews before I took the class.Try to get help, declines, try to get extra work he declines. Won't help and you cant understand a word he says.

Do not take this professor under any circumstance! He is the worst teacher I've ever had, he's got a heavy accent which makes him difficult to understand and be talks to the whiteboard instead of the class. He asked us how he should teach and when I gave an example he didn't use it. Worst experience by far

i would say do not take this class unless you are good at dealing with heavy accents, and working on your own.

I personally felt that DR. Khanna was not the right prof for me, I needed someone that was helpful and that I could understand.

If you struggled with Math in the past its not the course for you, so STAY AWAY! I asked him for help and feedback several times ,always gave excuses for not having the time to help. HARDLY gives partial credit for answers. VERY FEW people pass his tests,gets angry if you don't write name in capital letters. generally nice person, but cannot teach

I guess KU does not mind that the entire class fails. Ruins everyone's GPA...

I try not to be mean, but he was one of the worst teachers I ever had! I didn't understand his class and he made math hard for me. I was always in his class but that didn't even help. I didn't understand what he was teaching to the class. I had to drop the class before it effected my GPA.

I have nothing against him as a person but he's a terrible professor. I'm usually good at math but I had to drop his course. He doesn't know how to teach and assumes everyone is on his level. He's also scatterbrained and gets off topic. Please avoid at all costs. Even if you're good at math, you're in for a challenge.

I know everyone has said this but it's worth repeating... DO NOT TAKE HIM! He's no good at teaching. Even if you're good at math you'll probably struggle, unless you go into this class literally knowing anything prior. He makes math nearly impossible to understand and doesn't know how to handle a class. If you have him, good luck.

He makes no sense and pulls numbers out of thin air then just asks if we agree. There is no explanation to anything he does and i would hardly even call it real math, not to mention we only had 2 out of the 5 tests we were supposed to have all semester. Plus no homework and no other chances to improve our grade. Many people failed the class.

I'm not bad at math, but he makes me feel like I am by the way he teaches and grades his exams. This man needs to retire. He makes no sense in the way he explains things. I should have dropped his class when I had the chance! "Do you agree?" will be the worst phrase of your life.

Could barely make sense of what he was trying to teach us. was not clear, and assumed everyone just understood what he was explaining. then got mad when students wouldn't participate. no effort to make the class enjoyable. Don't take this professor.

Very mean prof. Don't even think about voicing your opinion, he will kick you out of class. Even though test are open note, don't expect what he tells you to write down in your notes won't be on the test.

I'm very strong in mathematics and even got an A in calculus, but could barely get a B- in this class. He makes the material for this class WAY more confusing than it really is. One time he gave us an exam on material we never even learned, ADMITTED to his mistake after and still made everyone keep their grades! (class avg was a 30). AVOID.

Steer clear of this professor. He's unclear with his expectations, very rude to his students, explains simple topics the hardest way possible, yells at the class to ask questions but makes you feel stupid after asking a question, will kick you out of class for quietly talking, gives impossible tests, had made students cry before. Horrible prof.

He never knows where you are in the material, never remembers what homework he gave doesn't follow the syllabus and just doesn't care if you do well First exam he says everyone always fails, but gives it anyway. Don't be fooled by open note promise as the questions on tests don't look like ones in class claiming this helps you think critically. 0/0

He never will fully explain the concepts to you in class and expects you to just know the information. There is no logic behind his lectures and asking him a question is pointless because he can't give you an answer half the time. He's a smart man but just has no clue how to teach. We barely take any tests and that's the only thing he grades. Tests are open book and note but doesn't help when the notes you take aren't on the test. He's very unclear with his teaching, goes off on little tangents about different things and accent is very hard to understand. TAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

easily the worst professor/teacher ive had in my life. his class was beyond boring because he barely taught anything. attendance was mandatory but he missed more class than any student did. there would be matieral that we never learned on our tests & he was extremely disorganized when it came to announcing assignments. do not take his classes!!!

I'm already a quiet student and didn't talk much in his class but when I would go to him for help or to ask questions he would make me feel very stupid. In which I stopped asking for help and failed his class. He wasn't helpful whatsoever and I never understood the course materials.
