Wow this class is pointless. All we did was got into groups and talked (supposedly) about health topics, then watched movies. The exams are take-home and she is really nice. She was really unclear about assignments in the beginning, so I don't think she really cares that much. Strict with attendence

If you are a teacher and want updated information about the health field- take this class! You will get a lot of useful info. including free stuff! We all love that!

this is a good class with useful general info. get cpr certified and she is sooo nice. wants you to do good in class. tests are a little sketchy and she shows slides from the 70s. info is really old but shes sweet! good class cancels class allll the time

She takes roll every day, but misses classes often (not that I minded). She's an easy grader, but the material is so boring.

pointless to go to class. Your entire grade for the class is work done outside of class. An easy project, 2 easy papers, a takehome midterm and final. Easy teacher. Dont expect to learn much tho.

Dr. wengert is now my fav. person at Towson University. Take advantage of life experience, you can learn so much! Do what she says and ull be fine. I would take any class she teaches.

Ms.Wengert is a great teacher! I really enjoyed Emergency Medical Care this semester, because there are so many hands on activites! I learned sooo much and was able to get my CPR and First Aid card! If you take this class there is work to do, but its easy if you come to class and do it! Didn't use the book, cuz she explains everything! I got an A!

She is flexible with the assignments. If the syllabus says 8-10 page paper, she will accept a quality written 7 page paper which makes it easier on you. You don't have to bull-crap your paper just to make the length of the assignment.

Really nice lady. I was sick 2 classes in a row and there was assignment due one of the days, and she let me drop it off at her office with no problem. I had to wear a pedometer for a month and record my steps, and do a 10 page paper on something that was fairly interesting, got an A. Apply yourself and you'll get an A.

Very caring lady. Really cares about what she is teaching. It's a pretty easy class. She gives you a list of things in the beginning of the semester like papers and attendance and if you do them without cheating, you get an A.

Cares about what happens to students. Always starts late, passes around attendance sheet and lax on lateness. No txt but have to join a professional organization and they are expensive 60-120$. The syllabus looks intimidating but really the class is too easy. You watch a lot of movies. Wont learn much but worth the A

Easy class! There's a very easy take home midterm, easy long term project, and easy final. The only real work involved writing an 8-10 page research paper at the end of the semester. Attendance is required, but easygoing about lateness. Besides all that, she is the most caring professor. She really enjoys her job and her students.

Dr. Wengert is really a great lady and useful to have as a mentor when learning to become a health educator. This class however is poorly organized and only sometimes seems relevant to learning about being a health teacher. Projects are random and there is a lot of video watching. Gets you to discuss a lot but doesn't always tie back to health ed

She means well, even though she goes off on random rants and tells random stories you do learn something. There are no quizzes, or tests. Your grade is developed through class assingments and the end of the semester powerpoint.

Good teacher but does not use blackboard which can be annoying. Emails all the power points from class and if you have questions, she emails you back on a timely manner. Overall ok class

Professor Wengert cares about her students but she never follows the syllabus so I never knew what was to be discussed the following class. Unclear grading criteria and she can be a bit dull. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. 1 Behavior Project, a couple take home quizzes, 1 Health Paper and 1 Powerpoint Presentation as the final.

Nicest and one of the most caring professors you could take. She does not really use her syllabus, no midterm and had a presentation for final. Study for the tests and you will be fine, but beware her tests are targeted on the textbook and not what we learn in lecture. A very nice lady, and gave multiple options for extra credit!

PROS: Overall Dr. Wengert is a sweet lady who genuinely cares about her students! THIS IS AN EASY A! All of our tests but one were take home. Easy subject. Always sends the class PPTs. CONS: 1. Usually shows up late 2. Not clear about her assignments/doesn't follow the syllabus 3. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! Find it online for free. 4. Rambles a lot

Such a caring lady. All the work is pretty easy. If you struggle with tests she usually lets you retake. Syllabus isn't very clear but she reminds you via email about all assignments.

One of the nicest ladies you will ever meet. Except her class seems to be a little disorganized she doesn't give rubrics for projects and does not follow the syllabus. All the work is very easy and if you show up you should get an A.

She is so nice and funny and this is a pretty easy class. Not much homework and a couple projects throughout the semester. Very understanding.

My class changed a lot once the semester became online. There were only four grades but the assignments were not difficult to do. If you follow the rubrics of the assignments you will be fine

one of the nicest, caring professors i've ever met. only con is the syllabus is a little confusing and some of the dates and work didn't coordinate. she always emails back quick and is ready to help. goes above and beyond! makes sure that you know what you are doing. not that much work, a couple of quizzes and power points

I had Dr. Wengert online because of covid. We did not meet on zoom very often but if you have any questions she will respond to you very quickly. The exams are open note with no time restraint and the syllabus lists everything you need for the projects that are completed during the semester. She wants the best for her students.

She is such a caring prof literally just wants the best for her students. She goes over the powerpoints that are posted on blackboard online. She has lots of great stories to tell and gives feedback to all assignments that you turn in. There are tests which are take home open note, put answers on scantron, same as the midterm. Dr. Wengert is one of my favorite professors. I recommend her to anybody I meet. She is very caring and knowledgable on the subjects she teaches. The class is not difficult if you pay attention. There are a few quizzes and a final project.

She is an amazing, kind professor. She gets to know her students and is very knowledgable about the subject. Tests are take home - filling out a scantron. The final is a powerpoint, which she likes to do as it eases some of your stress around finals - 1 less paper final to take. Such an amazing class, I recommend to everyone. She is the best!

Professor Wengert is caring and very responsive to emails. She always goes into detail if you need clarification for an assignment. The class is easy and the textbook is not necessary. All quizzes are taken home and filled out on a scantron. She is understanding especially if you are an athlete and have to miss class for sports related events.

Wengert is very sweet and cares for her students. Her class is very easy as well and does not require a lot of effort. If you dont submit an assignment on time its okay as shell let you turn it in until the final exam. A few easy assignments throughout the course, a few online exams, and an easy final project that counts as your final exam.

The professor was so kind and understanding students had lives outside the classroom. She consistently was welcoming, and the assignments are not hard. Tests are take home, and the final exam is a presentation done in class. The class is easy to succeed in as long as you do the work, and if you need anything email the professor. 100% recommend!!

Very easy class. She is very kind and enthusiastic about the class and your well-being. Attendance isn't mandatory but sometimes we have graded in-class assignments (still very easy). 2 big assignments that will take the most time- and one of them is the final. Not really that hard, just a little time-consuming. But you'll still get an A overall!

Dr. Wengert is an amazing professor! She always gave detailed feedback on assignments, proving she genuinely cares about her students work. All assignments were easy and straightforward.
