What can I say? He is just plain awesome. He makes calculus look like a piece of cake. Take from him for any math courses you can.

Great professor. Laid back and humorous. Doesn't try to trick you like some math teachers. If he doesn't teach you how to do something, it won't be on a test.

Absolutely the best Math teacher at GPC. I've really enjoyed Calc 1 and 2. He also teaches High School, so he'll break it down really simple for his students. He'll show you shortcuts and is very laid back. My highest recommendations.

I was worried about this class but it turned out to be pretty easy. He explains things from the ground up, so it's good if you haven't had math for a while. He has a slight accent (from the sky) but he's pretty easy to understand.

A really good professor. He's always in a good mood and enthusiastic about class. He eplains things well and has fun while doing so. He has a small accent but is pretty easy to understand. As long as you pay attention and come to class, he'll help you in any way.

THIS GUY IS AS CRAZY AS HELL. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST MATH TEACHER OUT THERE. AND I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE HIM FOR PRE-CAL NEXT SEMESTER. I HIGHLY RECOMEND FOR EVERY STUDENT TO TAKE THIS GUY. HE ALWAYS MAKES MY DAY WITH HIS FUNNY JOKES!!!!!!

This is a great teacher! He has a great sense of humor and is very fair on his tests. He presents the material to his class in a clear and understanding way. He does not try to confuse his students on the test. He is Wonderful, and nice eye candy too!

Pretty good teacher, doesn't waste your time having to memorize definitions. You learn the defs by doing the problems. I know he reads RMP.com daily, so thanks for an interesting class. I will see if he is as good in Calculus.

this is a pretty easy class..however, he does not let you make up quizzes or tests if you miss them. he has teachers pets..he favors those who suck up to him and his jokes get lame after a while.

Class was pretty easy, sometimes he is annoying,does not admit it when he make mistakes. Tests and quizzes are easy. It is an easy A.

I had this man as a teacher my senior year in high school as well for precal, statistics, and now caluculus 1 (these 3 at GPC). His class is really easy. Still as an easy teacher, he gets the point across of what you should learn and get out of the course. Four thumbs up if I had four hands.

he teaches what you need to know in calc instead of all the other stuff that comes with it. he has these easy ways that helps you understand it better. he has a great humor so he makes the class fun. just come to class and do what he does and you got yourself a good grade. i highly recommend him.

The material is hard and I hate math, however, Doc made everything easy to understand. Come to class and you will do fine. Make sure you pay attention to the things he said will probably be on the test, because they definily will. Very funny and you can joke with him in calss.

This guy is great. He explains the material in different ways so you understand it better. To all those ppl who complain about his english-get over it. I'm sure your fluency in a foreign language leaves much to be desired.

Doscol is a very good and math teacher. He goes straight to the point when explaining necessary math concepts and helps the class understand how to approach problem solving. Go to class, pay attention,and study and you will pass this class with a good grade. Doscol is fair. He is a good guy and he is funny too!

Docsol is one of my favorite math teachers. I hate math classes, but I found his class to be easy to follow because he only teaches you what you need to know. He's funny and entertaining and I enjoyed his class very much.

DUDE, i love docsol. I had him for AP Stat in HS, then was surprised to have him for alg in college. He is funny and a great teacher. knows the subject well and is helpfull if you need it.

Great teacher!! For the hard chapters he gives two quizes before the test instead of one, spliting the sections, to bring your grade up. He's not very available b/c he's a high school teacher. Great with examples & is all about them, ask a question and you will know how to do by end of class. Funny, relates to you, and doesn't collect homework.

This teacher is an excellent teacher. He makes hard math easy; he makes learning math fun. I recommend this teacher for all who have been out of college for a while; or having a difficult time with math; this is the TEACHER to take!

Mr. Docsol is the best math teacher in the world! He shows you different paths to derive the correct answer. I've had a horrible time in the past with this class, but with Docsol I made an A on the first attempt. If you have the choice take him you won't regret it. Beware his classes fill up fast, better get in early.

Professor Docsol is the man. He also has a cool african accent. He's very chill and funny and show a lot of simple and convenient shortcuts for solving problems. He gives great review sheets for quizzes and goes over them in class, then the quizzes and tests are just like the review sheets. Do well on the reviews and it will be breeze in his class.

Test and quiz material is easy. He flies through this class without really teaching the concepts just teaching how to solve certain problems.

Everyone should take this teacher. He makes it so easy to learn. He assigns problems at the end of the chapter, not for homework, for your own benefit. Working these problems will guarantee you pass his class or even get an A.

He is the best teacher for Maths. He knows how to give it to his students and he is very interesting and very helpful. If you do not have basic back ground in Maths, he is the best teacher for you. He is a great teacher. Some teachers at GPC try to complicate this subject ( LU ). But not this guy, he is quick, simple, and to the point. I love this teacher and you will too.

Those that said he was hard should be taking arts courses! Docsol is a GREAT teacher, he teaches you what you need to know and if you do the homework/his problems in class you should get high B at least no problem. A little hard to understand at first, but you get used to it,and he has funny jokes. I would take him again!

I luv Mr.D. b/c is THE BEST teacher in GPC...when it cums to teachin, he gets to the point and makes the material so easy unlike other teachers (LU). I had him for Algebra, precal, and Calc..n he made it so EASY for me to understand. I wished every teacher was like him.

EXCELLENT teacher. Knows his subject matter very well and makes it understandable even for the mathematically challenged. Attendance not mandatory but how can you learn math if you are not inclass? Very dedicated and fair.

I just took CalcI with him in a half summer semester and still got an A. He finds alternate ways to explain problems and keeps you laughing as he teaches. He's an excellent teacher who explains problems rather than just mechanically throwing concepts at you and hoping some of it sticks. I'd take him for every class if I could.

He is a GOOD teacher I took him for Calc 2431, couldn't have been better for a strong foundation. Teaches you what you need to know w/o the math mumbo jumbo

He is the sweetest teacher i have ever had. Been out of school so long he is very patient ,loving, and kind . He feels disappointed when his students fails an exam, b/c he makes it so easy. He calls his older students senior citizen which i think is so hilarious. In case he is extra patient with them.

I would highly recommend him. Yes, he is lazy but he does a great job of teaching the material to students and gives you so many chances to make up stuff there is no reason you should not pass. He makes the class fun because he has a sense of humor.

Awesome! I've taken Calculus 1, 2, and Statistics with this professor. He teaches you how to do everything in class - so just take good notes and you'll be able to do all the homework on your own. His pretests are just like the real tests. He is a great teacher and actually makes the class fun if you're willing to pay attention and practice.
