Prof. Springer is awesome. I honestly have nothing negative to say about her.

funny but hard tests.

PROFESSOR SPRINGER IS AWESOME. SHE GIVES GREAT NOTES AND MAKES SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL. HER TESTS ARE A BIT HARD BUT IF YOU ATTEND CLASS YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM.

I had her for ss-510, and ss-520. She's a wonderful professor. But you better know your material otherwise you'll fail. Her test gets a little tricky sometimes.

Her lectures are very well presented, everything is clear and to the point. Granted, she is strict and her tests are hard. Putting that aside, I'd recommend her if you want the material delivered in a straightforward fashion.

i think that she is the best teacher she explains everything clearly and easy to understand she writes good notes on the board and her tests are not so bad if u study.

She's a great lecturer. Spoon feeds you the material at first, and gradually speed things up through the semester.Her exams will gradually become harder with more critical thinking skills involved. (You'll walk out of the final with a headache!) If you do well in her class, A&P will be a breeze.

I took her for both 510 & 520 and she is by far the best professor I've had. She doesn't tolerate crap from anyone and I respect her for that. Don't expect to pass her tests if you're going to just memorize the material. If you fail, blame no one but yourself.

She puts you to work. Don't beleive you're gonna chill in her class you have to be on the alert.Knows her stuff.

She very clear on what she said at times. She makes you read the textbook for NO REASON. Her exam became much easier than they were before..

Very strict teacher, she is good at what she does, explains things well but she is tough, You got to pay attention and come to class. She makes the class very interesting and her tests are not that difficult if you pay attention in class.

First of all, most of you don't like her b/c she doesent baby people. Most of you who did bad did so because you still belong in highschool. Grow up people we are in college, Cardoza is across the street.

She is a good professor, but she has a bad attitude. She needs to be more nicer, and respectful to her students we are all adults here. We don't act like babies she is not nice most of the time.

A lot of data to learn during the lecture. But 90% of it is in the text. So if you can't take good notes, learn how to read. She curves her exams. What more can you ask for?? QCC students are pretty dumb. I wonder how most of my classmates even graduated HS.

She is a very intelligent lady.. She doesn't take any crap... Meaning she doesnt answer stupid questions that people didnt put thought into be4 asking.. the tests are tough but if you studied your notes and read the assigned pages you will be fine....The multiple choice questions are a little tough but read carefully...Be quiet and respectful

She is the best professor I took at QCC. I'll admit her tests are not the easiest, but her notes are extremely helpful and she is always willing to answer any questions. It is true that she does not want to know your names, but that is simply because she does not want her grading to be biased. This is the most interesing class I took in this school

if ur a good note taker then take her!! she's good but her test are hard..a lot of memorizing.. and she gives 3 test.. test #2 is the hardest so be ware!! don't take her if u want an easy A

Her test are curved and fairly easy. Most her questions comes from her lecture. As long as you pay attention in class, you'll do fine. I tool her twice- intro to psych and human growth and development. I ot an A in both class... all without much studying. All I did was go to class and actually listened and take notes.

She is a great teacher. Her tests are hard, but they come directly from your notes. The only people that are complaining about her are people who are bitter that they did bad in her class, yet they should be blaming themselves b/c if they studied their notes like she tells everybody to do, they would have earned an A. Its not rocket science people.

She is a very good proffesor, but Unfortunetley she try to showoff her power in the class. tests are xtremly hard. Ratin s@#$s. You learn alot from her class. but you will not get a good grade. Tough teacher, her tests are extremely hard, and tricky, with a 21 point curve the class average was 75. She explains everything clearly and gives examples, but she is tough, it?s a rough, i dont recommend it if you want to maintain a high GPA

I took all of Dr. Springer's classes. Yes, she's hard but that's because she has respect for the discipline she's teaching. She was one the most influential teachers I've ever had. She teaches you how to THINK critically. Take her class if you want a true understanding of psych. If you take good notes and study off of that, you should be fine.

She doesn't coddle her students and wants them to think for themselves. im a psych major now, and i still remember the lessons she taught. Wasn't that difficult to get an A either...Would recommend if you are interested in psychology and have half a brain :)

I've encountered "tough-love" professors like her in other 4-year schools [Barnard, Columbia U,CCNY].That means she has high expectations of students and grades with a critical eye.However, it does not mean you can't do well in the class. I read a lot baseless complain about her ,but if you are ready to work you will get a justifiable grade. She gives handouts that you can use to take notes and 98% of the test are taken from lecture and notes. She also gives a retest to improve your grade, and extra points in class if you excercise some critical thinking. If you cannot understand why she tries to be unbias by not knowing names, maybe you shouldn't be in college

Prof. Springer is an excellent teacher, probably the best teacher that I have ever had. She explains everything in great detail! She makes sure that the students understand the material before moving on.I really don't get the negative comments!! Maybe instead of complaining you should have spend some time reading and you could have gotten an A !!!

She's crazy. BUT a REALLY GOOD Professor. She makes sure that everyone understands before she moves on. She's passionate about teaching, and appears to be anxious for her students to grasp the material that is beig taught. However, she's unapproachable and grouchy! I like her in a weird way.

She really knows her stuff and teaches from a couple notes & from memory. She lectures for the full time and makes the concepts easy to understand. Take good notes BY HAND and read the book. Her exams are mainly her notes, the book just clarifies & expands. Her exams are straight forward and exactly what she said in class.

Everybody saying this prof will bring your GPA down: Don't take this prof's class if you can't read and don't understand abstract concepts. This is an interesting prof who will teach you a lot if you impress her. If you don't feel right about it, drop early: it won't get any better. She can be abrasive, but worth it for what she can teach.

Basically add 5 points to your final average and that should have been your grade. She goes by her archaic notes and sometimes book contradicts it. Not too clear but major concepts are well taught. The downside is that u will be taking a lot of f'in notes because she doesn't allow recording nor laptop. On avg I took 4 pgs front and back. If u care.

Prof Springer really knows her stuff. She explains in a motivated way. take good notes and you can do ok. tests are hard but she grades fair. she is tough but fair.
