Fun lectures with a lot of Marvel and pop culture references. He was accessible outside of class and encouraged us to work through our questions using the tools he equipped us with. That being said, I wouldn't take his class again because of the numerous issues with his tests and his general grading system.

PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. I took him for CHE2C in SQ2021 online. It was absolutely horrible. He uses ADAPT (No OWL, Canvas, Gradescope). Exams crashed & there were many problems with the hw, labs, & midterms. Also not clear grading scale or even how to determine grade. Not good at teaching -- too many Marvel references & no examples.

His lectures are mostly straightforward but he doesn't use very many real examples, just pop culture references. His tests and hw are through adapt and it always crashes and is unreliable. OK Larsen is caring and responsive; however, I question whether he made an effort to adjust his teaching curriculum for distance learning. Lots of issues with the ADAPT system so he waived the HW, WS, and one of the labs. Hard work: gone. WS and lectures: not in sync. Averages were high and cheating seemed ubiquitous...
