She is great for product development courses, she uses real life experiences within her past jobs at Coty , revlon, sally Hansen. She creates time to bring in speakers from the beauty industry and tries to get the class to cooperate with her lectures. She cares about her students and gives excellent advise.

I loved Professor Horvath! She is such a sweet woman who really wants you to succeed. She has lots of advice to offer about the industry and genuinely is there to help you. I am looking forward to having her again next semester! If you are a CFM major you are destined to have her!

Charming person. Great background & puts a lot of effort into lectures & class discussions. Seems genuinely interested in students' opinions. While open to opposing views, on rare occasions seems slightly defensive. Although there is a detailed rubric for the grp projects, it can be difficult to know exactly what she wants. Get feedback in advance.

Delphine is incredibly passionate and knowledgable of the beauty industry with years of experience under her belt. Her lectures were interesting and detailed. There are two major projects that you work with in the same group (with an option to switch later on). She is big on participation though and notices EVERYTHING. Stay engaged.

I loved this class! As an intro to CM it was great. Although most of the marketing was repetitive from AMC it was great to see it relate specifically to the beauty industry. There are group projects however she gives specific details on how to execute it. I learned a lot and enjoyed Professor Delphine very much.

Gave amazing real-world insight into the industry. She's a tough grader with a critical eye, but because of that my presentation making skills have improved tremendously. Be prepared to speak every class, and if you're shy, this class has an open environment! At times it seems an A is impossible, but you CAN work for it! She rewards hard work!

Very tough grader. She wants things done a certain way, and if you dont do it her way you will not succeed in this class. Its not a difficult class, but she really makes you work for it. Participation matters in class, for guest speakers, and trips so make sure you speak up! Shes always nice, but it can seem a little fake at times.

She is such a nice and great professor, and respect her students. But there is way too much homework for a 2 credit class. She gets so picky about Journals and team presentations. There are too many different things to do and complicated instruction every week which made me confused during the whole semester.

This class was new for prospective CFM students. She is nice and relatable to students! She is somewhat of a tough grader and takes off points for late assignments. Workload isn't too bad. Planned a really great semester with field trips and guest speakers, too bad covid19 ruined it. She has the cutest french accent (doesn't impact understanding)

Professor Horvath is by far my favorite professor at FIT. She really cares about students and is so inspiring. I love her!

A really caring, knowledgable professor. She even cracks some cute jokes here and there. Her powerpoints are very clear and simple but sometimes directions on work can be confusing but is very approachable so she's willing to answer all questions. I have had Professor Horvath for 3 semesters and both her lectures and feedback have helped me to improve my work and gain a stronger understanding of the beauty industry. She made lectures engaging and shared anecdotes about her career in beauty, which provided helpful insights about what to expect when starting internships and after graduation.

Professor Horvath was a very engaging professor! Her lectures were interesting and really interactive. Participation was expected, but it made the class a lot more fun. The group projects weren't difficult, but had a lot of different requirements. You could be creative, and you were encouraged to think outside of the box.

The final project was pretty intense and required a lot of work, but I did really appreciate how she blocked out class time specifically for group work.

Professor Horvath has been in the cosmetic industry for a long time. She is very professional, caring, and her lecture is super helpful. She really prepares students to do well in the industry. Her grading criteria is super precise, so if you try your best throughout the course, you will get good grades! I would 200% recommend her courses!!

As an intro to CFM, I loved this class! You get out of it what you put in. If you participate and work hard, it's an easy A, but it won't be handed to you. Delphine did a great job engaging the class & bringing relevant industry experience into the lectures as well as utilizing guest speakers. Group projects were challenging but creative & fun!

This class was a bit repetitive to other marketing courses but still engaging & relevant to beauty. Delphine was extremely encouraging & supportive in feedback for projects by making you want to perform your best. This class was split up between lectures, discussions, and group projects so it didn't feel 3 hours long, I really enjoyed this class!!

Delphine did a phenomenal job transitioning this capstone class from in-person to online absolutely seamlessly! The capstone was the main focus of this course and she pushed you to do your best which I really appreciated! This was my favorite class in CFM & couldn't imagine it being led by a different professor. Delphine is the best!!

Delphine is great professor and cares about her students. Her weekly presentations are thorough and provide great material for the lessons. This class, like many of hers is group project heavy where youll work with one team on your final capstone project for new innovation in the beauty industry.

She is a great professor and has tons of industry experience. She brings in many outside speakers who specialize in different areas of the industry to bring a new perspective to the class (these days are the best). This course has a group project done in two parts throughout the semester, so make sure to choose strong group members to succeed.

She is very passionate about the beauty industry and shares so much great information. She makes you work for your grade, but you will feel so prepared when you're done!

Professor Horvath is amazing! She always made sure directions were clear for us and offered an online forum to ask any questions about our assignments. The inclusion of rubrics for these assignments gave us a clear-cut outline of what our objectives were. I would take this course with Professor Horvath again in a heartbeat!

Professor Horvath is the best professor I have ever had! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to make sure students are comfortable and understand all that she is teaching. She was always on top of everything, always open to suggestions and responsive to emails. 

Professor Horvath made study abroad an experience to remember for a life time. She was very knowledgeable about each company we visited and also took out the time to show us around Paris (her hometown) and take us to places we wouldnt have known about otherwise. She was not only our professor but also a friend for these 2 weeks.

HANDS DOWN one of the best professors I have ever had! Professor Horvath made this class so fun and even though our physical class time was cut short she still has made the online platform seem normal and has made it very easy for students to adjust. I have still learned so much during this course and I cant wait to be a student of hers once again

Professor Horvath did a great job explaining and walking us throughout our capstone project. We had a smooth and seamless transition into our online environment. She encouraged students to communicate and collaborate with each other by providing feedback on each checkpoint. I feel as if I learned a lot and was excited to see my peers projects.

Professor Horvath was the most perfect fit for the leader of this trip. She was excited, informative, and really made sure we had the best experience. The real world perspective that was given to us on this trip is invaluable and I believe we are all at such an advantage because of what we learned.

Amazing Professor! A few things I truly have enjoyed is how much Professor Horvath has pushed me out of my comfort zone, ask questions during class and to not be afraid to express our opinions, and also taking us on a field trip to speak with other industry professionals and learn how to network. 

This was an overall wonderful course. Delphine is an amazing professor who is clearly very passionate and knowledgable about the beauty industry. I learned a lot in this class specifically that is very relevant with my current job after graduation. She is very specific in details and grading because that is exactly what the industry is looking for.

Professor Horvath is an excellent professor. I have had her for a previous class and this semester as well. She is always positive and encourages students to learn as much as they can and ask questions when unsure of a topic. I loved having her as a professor and would recommend her to following students.

She was a good professor, but the class can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. Theres a lot of assignments, and you have to go out of your way to complete some of them, like going to trade show events. 2 tests, midterm and final based on lectures, 2 group projects. But there were guest speakers from different parts of the industry, which was nice.

The instructor did a fabulous job staying engaged with the students. Learned a lot in this class, you could tell the instructor was knowledgeable about the subject. Great class and professor Horvath is an excellent professor! I almost wish I could retake it. FIT needs more professors like her. Truly caring but also knowledgeable. She explains things so well and gives real life, industry examples that are valuable insight to students wanting to go into the beauty industry.

Delphine is a very nice and kind person - however this class can feel very redundant depending on what major you are coming from with long lectures. Relevant examples and good field trips, but the curriculum was boring. Two major group porjects through the course, but make sure to ask her questions multiple times since instructions can be unclear.

Capstone is a lot and very stressful but she keeps us really on track and spaces the project out so well! Her feedback is so helpful and I love the guest speakers she brings to class!

Professor Horvath is an industry expert who makes the course engaging and rewarding. The lectures are informative, and she encourages us to step out of our comfort zones. unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the course materials.

Professor Horvath's class is easy to follow and paced nicely. There are clear guidelines of what is expected and ample time to complete discussions, projects, and quizzes/exams. As a FBM student, I took this class as an elective and found it interesting. Course work feels relevant and is not as time consuming as other classes. Take her class!!

Delphine is always a pleasure to have as a professor. I have been her student for almost 2 years and I have learned many amazing things from her, both in and out of the classroom. She is truly so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable.
