I took this class online and it was great. Everything is open book, including the final. When there was a problem with answers on her test key being incorrect, she corrected them and adjusted your grade. She took the time to explain things. I highly recommend her.

Mrs. Boyd is a very nice lady. Her class could be an easy A if you do all of your assignments. All the test are open book including the final.The way that she taught the class made you want to participate. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Not a great deal of "teaching" pre se. The text book which was suggested to buy did not ultimately reflect the units of sudy...most of those are in Course Compass. The final is exactly what Dr Boyd Tells you..no hidden adenga. You need to write quite a bit to get full points for discussions and your research paper. Good Luck!

I never had a class where i wanted to take again. what i dont like when we get stupid students who very stupid questions. that makes her job more difficult and our assignments

I took her online lifespan class and it was very easy. A lot of chapter exams but you get to use ur book so its cool. Her textbook was very useful to me. I couldnt pass her tests or exams without it. She's also a nice person because she was very understanding about something i didnt understand. Great teacher, Easy A if you dont all her work.

Her class was an experience. It was very helpful. You were able to view all your quizes at one time, by printing them and then working on them. They are all open at one time, so you had no excuse. Overall she was a very good teacher.

I took this class in the summer of 2007, it was 5 weeks long. You do everything online, it consisted of a online poster, and four tests(which you can use your book for help. It was so incredibly easy, and informative. Definitely take this class in the 5 week summer session, easy easy easy.

Mrs Boyd is an easy going professor. She issues her share of the work but doesnt make it extremely difficult for you to pass her course. If you have any questions, she never hesistates to clarify anything for you. I learned alot because she does require that you read your text & I know that she is smart-she wrote my text book

I took Lifespan in the summer and it consist of 5 test, 8 discussions, and a very time consuming video outline I feel that her test is pretty tricky and that there are more than one answer.She responds quick to emails.Made three B's on the exam and still manage to get a A. As long as you do the discussion, you will get full credit for it.

Got an A. The tests are tricky. The discussions were fun. For a 3 credit 5 1/2 online summer course the 12 required videos(6 were 30 minutes/ 6 were 1 hour long) were ridiculous because outlines with 5 major topics were required for each videos(Amounted to 30+ pages). Writing about the videos would have been a better format.

You must read the book to be able to answer the quizzes and the quizzes are not easy, they make you think! You have to complete a video journal which consists of watching 12 videos and writing an outline on each, start this early its very time consuming,mine was 25 pages. Keep in mind SHE wrote the book you will be using but I ended up w/ an A.

what can i say, she grades very fairly, i made an 89 and asked her about extra credit to make a 90 or an "A". i just checked my transcript, she gave me an "A". i was really surprised. the only thing is that the video journal is time consuming, but she does warn you to get a head start in order to produce a very good outline. i did mine last minute

Took class online. Very easy. Only two tests; 100 questions each but you can print the test out and answer as you read. Discussion due every week but very easy. 2 video journals due but also easy. Just don't miss deadlines.

I took two of Dr. Boyd classes. She is very fair and she will answer all e-mails and quickly. The tests are tricky, but fair. I love her. I wish my major was psychology, I would take all her classes.

This online class is great!! Keep up with your reading and discussion post and you will be fine. The video journal is long, but watch one a week so it won't be so time consuming. I made a A, so it was all worth it.

This was a very interesting class. Great teacher. easy discussions, easy video journals. Some questions are a little off but you can discuss it with her prior to turning it in. This is one of those classes that you learn a lot with little work. I highly reccomend this teacher. She is very helpful and willing to help you out. Ended up with a 95.

This class was very clear in the syllabus of what we had to do and everything is posted since the class starts so you can work at your own pace. Read required chapters and do exams and discussion. There was no time for the test n were able to print them out. Video Journal was long but if you work on it with time you'll do fine. Easy prof! TAKE HER!

This Prof is not as amazing as all the students? sounds. Took two classes with her, she is quite ok but the class isn't a breeze as some said. Am a psychology student myself and my other classes I made all A's but only her class I had a C and B. Trust me, I worked so hard for the classes, never missed a dead line, all my quizzes were high marks A+

She is the author of the book that she uses which means she is an EXCELLENT resource. The online class is set up so that you can skip ahead if you need to. I recommend the e-book as this was much cheaper and easier with extra resources. She is certainly prompt when asking questions.

only take if u have LOTS of time to devote. I took 8 wk DE class. I have 2 jobs, so DE is only option for me - however, I have never spent more time on 1 class in my life. Test & 2 discussions due every Sun. Tests are hard & tricky. u literally have to read every word of her notes and text to get 100. Very info intensive! Tests would take 2-4 hours to finish. Video notes took over 12 hrs ( 5 videos; an hr long each). Final took 7 hrs to find the answers. It was ok- but lots of time required.

I took a 5 week online class and it was pretty easy. I made a B only because I didn't study for one of the tests and blew it off. There were 5 video notes - those take FOREVER so start early. There were also 5 discussions that were easy. Overall, interesting, easy class. FYI: you can print all exams and find the answers! No timers!

She is an awesome teacher! You need to stay on top of your work and you will get an A. It's time consuming, but fairly easy. She's very sweet, smart and funny. I really enjoyed taking her class and recommend her to everyone.

Super hot. Just read your book, answer the exam which by the way she rigged it to be the easiest one. She kept the exam open until you are ready to submit it. She requires to watch 2 videos, read 2 Psych news clip, post it on video notes, and make comments on classmates posts. If my major is Psych I will be taking all of the classes with her.

Ms. Byod does respond quickly to the email and very pleasant on her response. Two test and four discussions that's all. Test and discussion are easy. Just do it early for guaranteed A on your total grade. Take her class you won't regret at the end. She is very clear on her syllabus. Great professor and she seems very nice person.

Professor Boyd is Great, took her for a second start mini and I got an A. (Oct 2013 - End of semester) You have to watch 6 videos that are about 1 hour long and take notes, along with 2 tests and 2 article discussions. Very easy, just do all of the work!

I took this class online, its very easy and Professor Boyd responds quickly to emails. There is enough work to keep you busy but its extremely easy. all you gotta do is DO IT. I didn't study for the final so I was worried I was gonna fail, but got a B considering I did all of my work all semester. :) Take her! She's great!

She is the EASIEST teacher i have EVER taken. Took her for a 8 wk course thinking it was going to be difficult with a lot of work but that wasn't the case. We had two video notes, three exams, and she lets you open the exam to find the answers to the question prior to actually having to sit down and take it. I WOULD TAKE HER FOR SURE!

This class was so easy. I just finished the first weeks session for Fall 2014. All you have to do is 2 video notes, 2 unit exams, and a final exam. I finished my videos notes and the unit exams in a week. The videos were very interesting to watch. The unit exams doesn't have a timer. The only thing is timed is final exam. Take her.

Professor Boyd is great teacher, if you follow the Syllabus you will do fine. You will have a Pre-Test and Post-Test on each chapter. I recommend that read each chapter or listen to the text as it reads to you. Questions are very tricky but if you read you will definitely pass. 2 video to watch and take notes on, read Syllabus and follow directions

Lifespan Psychology, 8 week online class. Only assignments were 2 video notes (PBS specials, bullet pointed notes, got 100% without a ton of effort), 2 multiple choice tests (un-timed, more like homework), and 1 Final (also multiple choice, but this one was timed. Very easy, but still enjoyable. Feel free to buy an older edition of the textbook.

Professor Boyd was amazing, read the chapters in the book, watch the videos, pass the test and quizzes. Responds quick to your emails! If you study for the final you will pass. I procrastinated and studied all the material in 2 days and made a 75 on the final. You can open the test before having to submit. &she will boost your grade up! TAKE HER!

I took Psychology 2308 with her in the fall semester and it was super easy. You have an entire month to complete 2 video notes and an exam (75 questions but super easy though) . There are 4 video notes assigned but 2 each month and 2 exams 1 each month. The final is a combination of exam 1 and exam 2 questions. The book I hardly touched it.

AWESOME class I took the 8 week course and there were 3 tiny assignments to do in the very beginning, 2 online exams with 75 questions that you're able to print out and work on whenever you want up until the due date (it's not like you have to finish it in one sitting) and one final. She's easy to get a hold of and clear about EVERYTHING. Take her!

You will need the book w/the access code. She gives videos to enhance learning. Light workload for an online class. Does not respond quickly to emails, but overall, easy A.

I took Dr. Boyd for PSYC 2308 (Summer). This class is extremely easy! 2 test 1 final and a 2 page paper. Test are not timed, both test are available day 1, you copy paste questions, and answer on your own time.

For me, I think she is good, just do your work and do them on time, she replies to emails, and try as much as she could to explain to you faster if you get confused

Taking Professor Boyd is like hitting the lottery. She is truly amazing. Great way to bring up your G.P.A. She is awesome

A bit of reading but easy. 13 quizzes ("Learning Checks") w/15 questions each through Canvas, each sub-chapter through Pearson has a quiz with 5 questions, a short writing assignment (500 words) and a final. A lot of extra credit if you need it too. Almost everything is open to complete from day 1

She is an amazing teacher. She motivates students to do their best and makes sure you follow trough with her expectations. midtap assignment's you have 3 tries and exams you can retry if you get the questions wrong .In the research paper she expects you too know the material for full credit. Class was fun not stressful. Accepts late work

Do the work you will pass just that simple, I took her Fall 2nd start and breezed right through, you do NEED to read course materials however it is very easy to understand and complete! Will be taking her again!

There are two major exams with 100 questions each. 4 quizzes 50 question unlimited attempts , and one video essay if you fail this essay with a 50/88 you are are guaranteed to receive a B, or a C.

She is a good professor, stress less class. I strongly recommend her in online class. You will never get failed if you do the works on correct time, before submission.

Amazing Professor, I recommend her!

She wants all of us to succeed and gives us many extra credit opportunities. If you read the textbook and study, you'll pass the exam. There are questions from the textbook that are short. Do the discussions on time 100 words each paragraph. Not as hard as I thought it would be. The assignments were due every Sunday. One term paper. Easy grader.

Dr. Boyd was great. Her course wasn't bad at all. It's definitely a lot of reading and discussions. And as long as you read the required chapters you should be ok once the quizzes and exams come around. The final was pretty tough but if you know your materials then you should be able to pass.

I thought this class was going to be very difficult but it was not so bad. She is a tough grader with lots of reading. Gives extra credit. Lots of assignment but just be on top of the work and an easy A. Exams were a lot of work but again open book!

Just finished fall semester with Professor Boyd, and she is amazing. You get extra credit by responding to her announcements in Canvas. She also allows you to submit your work late, but for -10pts. Her syllabus and grading is very clear. There is even a grading formula posted. Assignments are done through Cengage/Mindtap, and are fairly easy.

She is an amazing professor and I would highly recommend her! She gives you extra credits if you reply to her announcements! The only issue is, there will be two Data Analysis Projects and her instructions will not be very clear and you need to message her to clarify about it.She gives you a second chance even if its wrong. Its an easy class!

Overall a class where you complete all the assignment and you should easily get an A. She give out alot of extra credit ! Take her for an essay A but also you have to do all the assignments.

This was a very straightforward 8-week course. Online Anytime with due dates but all doable. Grade was composed of one written assignment project which was very easy and clear to do and exams based of the chapters in the book (open book and open notes) with two tries each. So glad I took this class!!!

Honestly an easy A, i took online anytime for this class, it was one of the easiest class i will probably every have to take!
