she is very easy..appears to be hard at first but as time goes by she gets easier. i strongly recomend her class.

Hey guys I had her for English 112 and it was my best semester ever, this was a year ago, and I still keep in touch with her. She might seem tough and hard but no, don't let that fool you she is so sweet and means well. If she knows u'r a hard worker she'll award you in some way.

LOVED Dr. Lagos! It was an honor to attend her 101 class. She was very clear on all of her instructions and on what she wanted from you. She always had a helpful ear. Very down to earth. Just make sure you show up to her class, do the assignment the way she requests it to be done and you will be fine in her class.

She's an amazing teacher. She really explains work thoroughly so you know exactly what you're going. She tells a lot of stories. We didn't have any tests just papers but they were fun. She loves what she does-that's what makes her a great teacher.

Honestly, my first impression I thought I was in trouble. She gives you an impression that she is hard, like military camp. However after the first two weeks you can really see the passion she has in her teaching. She actually taught me how to write a composition. I loved her. Wish I had her in Eng-102. Alot of work, its worth it!

First day I thought I was going to hate the class by the end of the semester I loved it. She was very eager to help and gave crystal clear directions on everything she asked you to do. An excellent teacher she really cares if you learn. I got an A but I worked hard for it.

I had her once a week. The instructions were easy and clear and most of the class was easy. Two outlines and two stories. But then we had to do two huge projects and it got stressful. But if you take her advice and don't procrastinate you'll do fine. She is super helpful and always available. You NEED the books she's strict with that.

Fun and informational. Start the career research ahead of time. Tip? Give her the interview recording on the last due day, so she can't ask you to do it again :D! At first she may seem blunt and rude but once you get used to her you'll realize she is the way she is because she is trying to let the students know what to expect from her and from the class. Be in class to know what to do for your assignments, communicate with her if something comes up, and expect a lot of work that will be worth it at the end.

She comes off super strong but she is actually super nice, if you do your job and do what your supposed to. She plays no games, but I found that she's not super critical and is just trying to help her students. She seems strict but shes pretty easygoing in the ways of required work, JUST DO IT. Her papers are short, but you need her book for sure.
