Very nice lady, she knows what she is teaching and always willing to help. She lets you correct the mistakes you made on the test and gives you 10 bonus points for that.

Dr.Race is very nice. For those that don't understand the material, I would recommend going to her office . She does not want her students to fail, so she offers study groups for exams and gives her students extra points for attending. She breaks down the material with great examples. Her exams are a little tough but by passable. Great teacher.

Iv had Dr. Race for college algebra, math 1324 and 1325. She is great, always willing to help you. Gives 10 bonus points for completing the review before each test. I have made A's on her classes. I might take another one of her classes. I recomend her.

THE BEST ALGEBRA TEACHER EVER! She makes the lesson clear as possible. She gives you the powerpoints for class and spends time in the computer lab to help students with homework. All round a great teacher who wants to teach you and will help in anyway possible!

She is a great teacher. She takes time to explain things if you don't understand. She uses powerpoint presentations every class, so make sure you print them and follow along (saves time) Definately do the HW and the review. She gives you 10 pts. for the review. PreCalculus Online Course (16 day - 4 Credit) - Grading was prompt. Lesson plan, grading, test reviews, and final exams were all in alignment. No anomalies. Communication was prompt. Help and guidance was offered throughout the course.

I took precal online or a Maymester and put everything off until the last 6 days. If it weren't for Dr. Race's incredibly helpful videos I don't think I would have passed. I would absolutely recommend her as a professor, ESPECIALLY if you struggle with math. Her explanations are very clear, her grading his fair, and she's always willing to help.

I took this professor's winter term online self pace course. 32 homework assignments, 4 online quiz reviews and quizzes, 2 online test reviews and 2 tests you have to take at the testing center. I made an F in Schulle's trig course before this and I made a B in this class. I would recommend this class to anyone good at learning on your own.

If you're a science or engineering major starting off at a Dallas Community College, your best bet is to take all of your Calculus, Diff. Eq, and even Linear Algebra with Dr. Race at Eastfield.

Dr. Race is the best math professor I have ever seen. She is the type of professor that I would expect to encounter at MIT or Stanford. I took her class during summer and I think she is an excellent professor. Her lectures are easy to follow and if you just do the homework, the tests/exams are relatively easy.

I took Cal 2 during the summer with her and although the class was hard, it was doable. Her lectures are clear and doing the homework was extremely helpful for learning the material. This is not an easy class and I am not that great at math but I enjoyed taking this class with her very much.

compared to Thomspons course Her hw is easier, she provides videos that remove the need for a textbook. All the homework can be solved based on These videos. Thompsons course has multiple choice quizzes and tests that can be taken at home but dr race has 4 tests PLUS a midterm and final(latter 2 are multiple c +must be at center or with proctorU).

Taking her wintwrmester onljne course and I have to say I've actually enjoyed this class. It's a lot of work for a mini water but doable if you're deligent. She lets you access the mymathlab weeks before the actual start date even if you're not registered so make sure you contact her about that . Homeworks are pretty simple, tests are fair

Absolutely, one of the best professors I've ever had! Very approachable when you need help. The hour drive to her class was worth it. Lectures/Notes are prerecorded in case you miss a class. If you are taking her online try and stay ahead of due dates by a couple of weeks in case you need to focus on another class for whatever reason. She lets you start the classes before the start date. I've taken several online classes throughout my educational career. Normally, I would steer clear of an online math class, especially upper level. But Dr. Race provided the best experience I've ever had in an online class. She responds to email same day, posts videos of all lectures, is encouraging even online & mapped the course out very well!

Dr. Race does something that not a lot of math instructors do, she makes sure you understand the actual concepts not just how to plug and chug. Very helpful and will always stop to explain things in more detail if you are lost. Make sure you have a good grade going into the final because it is much more difficult than the rest of the class.

I took Pre-calculus in 8 weeks with Dr. Race and I am glad I did because I actually learned the material. The 8-week class is fast paced and is a lot of work. 50+ homework assignments but her videos teach you everything you need to know. 2 exams must be taken at school but are super easy if you do the reviews. 4 online tests, 2 at school, and hw's.

Dr. Race is a great professor. Calculus 1 was not as bad as people told me it would be. I would not take the class if you don't plan on watching her videos. The midterm and final reviews are a must as the questions are similar to the exams. If you do the reviews, you get 5 extra points added to your exam grade.

Calculus is a hard course, but Prof. Race will be there for you when you need help. She responds to emails within a few hours and will work with you extensively during her office hours. She was patient and understanding when I fell behind on my work due to outside circumstances. She gives bonus points for completing reviews before tests as well.

Took Calculus III with Dr. Race online during May intersession. Great professor, class is structured well. Easy to pass, but the content itself is complicated but that doesn't change with professors. 2 exams, easy homeworks and 4 quizzes. Well structured, in favor of the student. Responds quickly. I took Dr. Race twice in one summer,cal 3 and diff both online. The material is complex, that will not change by professor. she is the nicest professor I have had, she cares about your grade and responds very fast. extra credit and multiple attempts on hw and quizzes, test are MC but material is hard. Do everything at your own pace, hard to fail.

Professor Race is among my favorite math teachers. She responds with great detail and is good at explaining material. I ended up doing this 5-week course in 3 weeks and still managed to get an "A" and it was all because of her. High-quality class with a high quality teacher. Btw, don't bother reading the textbook. Honestly one of the best math teachers in my opinion, it is already a tough subject to teach but still did such a good job even though I took her online. I took her for calculus one for an 8 WEEK course. Even if you miss the homework deadline, you have until the end of the semester and only loose one point, same for chapter tests but no lost points

Though she was joking when she said this would be one of the toughest math courses I would ever take. Differential equations is one the hardest classes I have ever taken, but I am glad I took it with Dr. Race because she wants the student to succeed. The only to fail is to just not do anything. Midterm and Final are multiple choice and not too hard

Took Dr. Race for cal 3 best decision i've made. Had four test over each sections get to take them twice takes the best score of the two tries. Exams consist of mid term first half of semester lessons final exam last half of semester lessons. Overall, great professor she also rounds final grade too great way to get above the curve.

I took the Fall 2018 online MATH 2414 course, and there was a lot of homework. The mid term and final were not exactly like the reviews, but as long as you understood how to do the homeworks, you should do fine. You can retake module exams and get 10 pts added to your lowest module exam if you used online tutoring. Dr. Race is really caring!

Calc 3 is hard like many have said, but reading every single section of the book, along w/ the practice problems got me an A. I found others who relied only on the HW's for the tests get very low scores. There are 4 modules, each w/ around 8 sections. Midterm is about mod. 1 &2 and Final is 3&4. DO THE TEST REVIEWS FOR 5% FREE POINTS.

It was very tough for me to take Cal3 in 5 weeks, but she has been very helpful. I struggled with low midterm and final grade, but not only she lets me retake the midterm, she also allowed unlimited attempts for me to bring my grade up online made it possible for me to pass. I appreciate her for letting me finish calculus with a great remark!

I took her online classes Calc 1 forst 8-weeks and now taking Calc 3. I had a lot going on at home so I was very greatful she lets you take your time to take midterm and final. Just have to do it before end of class. Lots of homework but not too hard if you watch her videos and take notes. Person also has examples and 5 tries to get right.

I took Calc 3 online for a full term and got an A in the class. I would say the homework is the hardest part (difficulty wise). There were 42 homework assignments averaging about 15 problems each. Between online videos and completing homework, I spent about 15 hours per week on this class. Tests and proctored exams are extremely fair and not bad.

Took Online Linear Algebra. Though I messed up final and got B(which I still can't believe), I understood a lot from her than any other teachers. She even introduced us to colab and python to inspire beyond mathematics. If I had any options to class take with her, I do it in a heartbeat. Lot of homeworks, very worth it. Almost instant email replies

I took diff eq online over the wintermester. I made an A and heres how: decide ahead of time how many hw assignments you plan to get done per day; watch all the video sections corresponding to the hw's you've decided to for that day, BEFORE starting the assignments. My days became much shorter once I began watching ALL the videos before hw.

The class was fully online using My Math Lab over a wintermester. Everything was due at the end of the term but a calendar was provided to estimate reasonable progress. The 'labs' used Python notebooks on Google's colab. It was really good - great way to learn. Highly recommended! Great course. Very reasonable work volume. Nothing tricky on exams

I took MATH 2413 online for the Spring 1, 8 Week session and made and A. You will have at least 2-3 assignments due every other day, but she posts her own videos which are extremely helpful and gives you extra credit if you do the midterm ad final exam reviews before taking the test. She's amazing and caring. Take her class if you have the chance.

I took a 3-week online Calculus III course with Dr. Race. It was a daily grind finishing up all the assignments, but that was because it was crunched into such a short time. She responds to emails quickly, and the homework does a good job on preparing you for the exam. Exams are very similar to the HW and she lets you use formula sheets on them.

I recommend her for any math! She's the queen. All hail the queen of math. So knowledgeable and many degrees to prove it. The best. Real world experience too.

This is not an easy topic and a bad professor would make it impossible. Dr. Race is incredible. Her lectures are clear, concise, and she is responsive to student questions--even if they venture outside the curriculum. Her passion for math is obvious and infectious. I earned my B and feel great about the experience. She gets an A+ from me.

Professor Race is so nice and helpful. I had a hard time understanding the material it was a hard class for me but she was very helpful. If you keep in touch with her she will do anything to help you. I took this class online due to covid which I wish I would have taken in person because math is hard for me.

I was ready to pick up whatever she was laying down! It worked so well for me. Maybe not for everyone. There is work involved because it's math. Also, read the requirements before you sign up! Very simple instructions. I can't thank her enough!! Superb.

I took her class during the the winter short semester, and I can tell you its the easiest class you will take! Do all the work take 4 exams, a midterm, and a final. If you get a 50 in the final and the midterm and an 80 in all the other test you will pass. If you dont get at least a B you didnt try hard enough. She is the best prof!

Took her 16 week course. The most important advice is to study very hard for the midterm and final because she will not let you use your notes on them. That is the only downside of her. However, she gives amazing lectures, responds very quickly to my emails, and is willing to give partial credit on questions you miss. Also, take very good notes.

Dr Race is one of the greatest teacher at Dallas College. Feel free to ask her anything, she is very nice and will answer any question (Solved a few and sent it back). She wants all her students to be successful. The midterm and Final are heavily graded so watch out .Final and Mid-term review is where 50% of question come would give her from11/10

Dr. Race has been the most active and helpful online professor I have had. She gives you a lot of partial credit on exams and constantly sends emails to check up on you throughout the course. Being able to pace yourself in a 5-week internet math course is important so make sure to take advantage of the help she provides.

I took Differential Equations with Dr. Race during the summer, and man, was it the toughest class I've ever taken. She had good lectures and was very responsive with emails, but the homework was grueling. If you take this class, be prepared to spend every hour of your day (even on the weekends) learning the material. I BARELY passed with a C.

Dr. Race is the best professor at Dallas College. Genuine, wickedly smart, and wants you to learn. Yes, Differential Equations is hard and there is no getting around that. But she will take you step-by-step and be next to you for the whole journey. I love her.

Hardest class ever, regardless of what prof u choose. She is super intelligent and knows her stuff. Hws are lengthy and hard. Tests are like reviews. Take MATH 2415 online only if you can learn on your own. Her lectures are not the best, might wanna check out youtube for supplementary. She also tells you how you are doing, and gives advice.

Really easy. I took this for credit.. 4 week class. There's tons of homework but you can redo it a bunch of times. Unit tests are taken at your own time/pace. There's a midterm/final and those you take with ProctorU. Very doable.. I didn't do anything for the first week of the class and finished before the deadline .

Dr Race is one of the best professors I've had in my college career. The only reason I got a C is because I did not put enough effort and Cal 3 is a hard class, but she is very good at explaining. She is one of the few professors I stay in touch with after passing the class. Homeworks will be your best friend. Need more professors like her!

I took class over summer (4 weeks). There were tons of hw in Cengage. 3 exams in total. Test are similar to review. Professor is willing to work with you as long as you communicate. The only thing I didn't like about the course was exams on proctorU. You have to schedule ahead of time. And pay 20-30$ for each exam.

Dr Race is an amazing professor. I took 16 weeks Linear Algebra course of her. There were tons of homework on mymathlab. As long as you do 1 everyday, you will be fine. Seriously!!. She replied to email within 10 hours ( SUPER FAST ). There were 3 unproctored module test, 2 midterm and final ( THESE TWO ARE MAIN THING, MAKE SURE TO STUDY!!! )

Dr. Race is probably one of the best professors at Dallas College. Dr. Race actually takes time to respond to your email, about any questions or concerns you might have about the course material in a timely fashion. Take this professor if you can! Lots of homework but its well worth it. Finish the test reviews before the exams!

Professor Race is amazing, her course outline is very easy to break down and understand. She provides homework and lab assignments which are very relevant to tests, and she responds to emails quickly. She truly cares about your success. Every MML assignment helps you learn the subject.If you are willing to put the effort in, this class is for you.

Dr. Race is an exceptional discrete math instructor. Clear explanations simplify complex topics, and always available for questions, offering prompt and helpful feedback. The tests align well with the textbooks, videos, and homework. She provides partial credits and detailed feedback on assignments. Her focus on understanding over grades.

Took this class Maymester. Every waking moment was linear algebra. You shouldn't expect anything else. Good pre-recorded lectures and accessible via e-mail. Good opportunities for extra credit, but im stupid and messed it up (I would've gotten a B). If you're taking the exams on-campus, email the prof. If taking them online, you have to pay.

best professor ever!!! so much extra credit for exams and overall such a good teacher for math 2305!! any questions you have, you just email her and she will reply in like 3-4 hrs but everything is really nicely laid out and stress free.

She's one of the best math professors I've had. I absolutely loved her class and plan to take Linear Algebra with her as well. She is responsive to emails, genuinely cares about her students, and her video lectures are clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend taking her courses.

5week, online, selfpaced vids, ~50 HWs 10-15 Q. Mid & Fin (20Q) are whenever you schedule. Nothing due til end of semester. Provides slides for each HW, & draws on them in vids. Explanations make amazing sense! Responded to emails on weekends, past 10pm, & her responses were HELPFUL. Gave half credit when I emailed about a Q on the Fin. She CARES!!

Professor Race's class is challenging but worth it. Her lectures are informative, and she's willing to provide extra help. I found Unstuckstudy and the review sessions invaluable for test prep. Overall, a rewarding experience.

Dr. Race is by far the best professor I have ever had ! The only thing to be cautious of is that her reviews don't fully match up to the exams but other than that she is amazing.

Dr. Race provided a lot of extra credits before taking exams! Make sure you look at the chapters and exam reviews before taking tests! It is essential to look at those because she liked to pull out some of the questions from chapter reviews!

The assignments might make you feel uncomfortable sometimes, but her support and approach in helping you to the best is what you would be long for

This class is not for weak. This class consists of 4 hw assignments per week. A test for each module (4 modules) and 2 proctored exams (midterm and final) which you can take at a testing center, or with a live proctor that sometimes tells you to get back on frame and asks to lower your camera down. the test are not multiple choice btw

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! She will give you no deadlines at all, and let you pace yourself accordingly. This is a blessing and a curse, but make sure to use your time wisely, because the content is HARD. Differential equations is not meant to be an easy class and her lectures will make it easier, make sure to review the exam reviews and finish work.

She is one of the best professor from the whole Dallas College. She knows what she is doing. Will explain each and every concept, give you proper time , not much homework load. Focus on problem solving and theory. Well structured course and some extra credit too. I will give her 5/5. She really cares about her students.

The most organized, laid-back, flexible instructor I had so far. Her online class is completely self-paced (there's a lot though. Do NOT slack around.) Materials and assignments are organized to a T; extremely detailed, yet straightforward. Projects and discussions are fun to participate. Test/exam reviews carry you for the actual tests. Take her.

This teacher is very easy to reach about matters on homework, grading, and tests. She provides many extra credit opportunities on the midterm/final and creates in-depth review videos for all tests. Overall, while the classes content may be difficult to grasp, Dr. Race makes it a much more enjoyable, inspiring, and rewarding experience.

Amazing professor! Her lectures are great, and everything was available online. Deadlines were also flexible, and Professor Race is very accessible and easy to communicate with! Even though the class was content-heavy, Professor Race made it in a way that was both easy to learn from and stress-free (lots of extra credits!). Definitely recommend!
