Very knowledgeable in finance. If you had a question about stocks, she could definitely answer it. The 4 exams are hard but the curve makes up for it. Thick Eastern European accent but doesn't impair her teaching skills. No mandatory homework.

I would have to agree HOT !! for a teacher. Teaches class usinf power point slides. No required Homework. Test multiple choice. Final grade wieghted according to the rest of the class. So i didn't study for final, failed misserably and still got a 'B'

she is very smart and very nice. it's a great class. i don't know what the previous reviewers are talking about. the material is definitely challenging but in the exams she asks only what she covers in class. take this professor, you'll learn!

Not an easy A, but if you do the HW problems and read her slides, you'll do very well. Also, she is very approachable. Recommended if you want to understand finance. Good-looking as well :)

Deniz Ozenbas is a very professional lecturer. Comes to class well-prepared, is friendly, easy-going and clear. Knows finance well and explains difficult concepts well. All students should appreciate her teaching efforts, her courses are highly recommended!

This is a intro to Finance class. This has a lot of material. The teacher is pretty nice and she is a good grader and curves in the end. Do take her if you have to take this class.

Im a girl, so Im not telling you take her because she is hot. But seriously she teachs you in a way that u can understand, she goes through all the homework problems which is really helpfull. She is not that kind of teacher who interact and wants to know her students but she is excellent. Take her!

THE BEST PROFESSOR AT MSU! She explains everything perfectly and thoroughly. Homework is extremely relevant and it helps a lot! Tests are very reasonable. She is an good grader and curves the tests. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! BTW she is gorgeous by teacher standards ;) Her accent is amazing, too! TAKE HER, PLEASE. YOU WILL AGREE! I got an A!

She is a good professor and knows her stuff. Even though the material was challenging at times, do your homework problems before you go to class and it will help with her lessons. She's fair with the grades but she is aloof. Catch her before she leaves class and she'll help answer short questions. I'd take her again.

She is a very nice lady. Her test are really easy, and so are her lectures. Definitely take her. Grade based on 20% Homework, 50% on two test (there are three, she drops the lowest one), and 30% on the final.

Dr. Ozenbas is a great professor; she is very detailed and covers everything you need to pass the exams. Some online HW, 3 exams (drops lowest) 1 final Does not take attendance but if you want to do well, attend. She is available and very understanding. Grad assistant that she set up is very helpful. Highly recommended, lazy ppl stay away!

This class was not terrible. You don't NEED to buy the book but i recommend it, just so you can do the practice problems at the end of the chapters. She's extremely clear and as long as you do the problems she gives you in the study guide and understand them, you should have no problem pullin a high B or A...

Prof Ozenbas was the best professor I had at MSU. She is very clear, knowledgable both about the material and the markets and a really pleasant person. Material is not easy but she makes it very intersting and you learn a lot.

Prof has a funny accent but you can understand her. I suggest to listen to her lectures in class and she explaines everything crystal clear. She is a good prof but she is sort of unorganized. Class started at 1:00pm and she came at 1:05-1:10pm. Also posts practice problems prior to exam rather late. Aside from that its an easy course.

She's really nice & explains the material very well. Attendance is not mandatory but would still recommend to go to class. Homework for every chapter but they're not that hard. She gives a week to do it anyway and they're helpful for the test. 2 midterms but drops the lowest and a final.

She is the best finance professor in the whole finance department. All of the other ones are absolutely terrible. Take her if you have a chance. Exams are cumulative, MC but not too difficult. Likes that if someone asks questions. Do the homework because that helps a lot. She knows her stuff too. Take her if you can!!!!

Everything is straight forward the homework and tests are based off her notes in class.

Easy class if you've taken accounting and calculus, not so much if you haven't. Expected it to be much harder. Provides all formulas for tests so you can focus on calculating and analyzing rather than rote memorization of a ton of formulas. I found her to be easy, but I like math and accounting so keep that in mind.

She understands her material and is pretty easy. gives you a midterm and final and then you have an optional second midterm. case study group project was easy and the homework was easy. got an A- and would definitely take her for other classes

Tough material, financial derivatives, but she does do her best to make it easy to understand. 2 quizzes, 2 exams, 2 homeworks, and she does not take attendance.

You need to study hard for this class. But it was worth it because I learned a lot and I am a Finance major. She is very knowledgable and fair, one of the best teachers at MSU. There is a group presentation, an individual paper and HW sets for each cahpter. 2 midterm (drops lowest) and a final. Take her if you don't mind hard work to really learn.

Its was a very huge class 60+ people. You have to do a case study for all 300 courses this was annoying but not that difficult. Graduate assistants are available to help the students. Online Homework

Such an easy class, you don't even have to show up in order to pass. However, if u suck at math, I suggest you go because you will flunk those exams. Gives 2 tries on midterm exam, drops lower grade, a final, and offers 4 extra credit points for doing the BMC certification. Really understanding lady and definitely learned during class. Take her!

As long as you go to her lectures and take notes there is no reason you should not get 100%. Connect assignments with unlimited attempts, 2 midterms (lower grade of the 2 is dropped), integrated core paper, and cumulative final exam. Exams are on lockdown. If you do your bloomberg certification - 4 extra points are added to your final grade.

This is the professor you want to take for FINC300! She explains the material really well and makes it approachable and understandable for even non-finance majors (like me). Provides great reviews before exams and also extra credit. Very understanding of her students. This was my favorite class out of the core four. You will learn a lot. TAKE HER!!

An above average class! All courses took place on zoom with attendance not being recorded. Few connect assignments which weren't too bad. 3 Midterms which were all pretty straight forward as long as you followed her reviews. There is also a Bloomberg Marketing Concepts course to complete which is fairly. simple as well. I would recommend her!

She is a good professor. Most of your grade comes from tests or homework. The tests may have curve balls, but the lectures will give some insight on how to solve them so take notes. Her grading is straightforward but fair. I would recommend her if you wanted to learn something about Finance. She responds to emails within a day if you have issues.

Graded by the connect hw assignments, two midterms (the second is optional if ur happy with the grade on the first one), core paper, and final test. Wasn't bad, tests weren't on lockdown browser (they were given through the connect/mcgraw hill site). Easy if you stay on top of your work.

Great professor. Knows the material and can teach very well. Responds to emails. I'm not a finance major but really learned a lot.
