He's a great professor and guides you in the right direction. Quiz's, midterm, and final are multiple choice and lab with him is a blast. He's made me change my view of biology.

He's a gd prof, very clear about the material that he is teaching, all the quiz, midterm, n final r multiple choice, everything he said came out from text book, so just read ur textbook n listen to his lecture u will be fine, i think im getting A- cuz of the lab prof, i had diff one, if u want to pass 204 during six week with a good grade take him.

He's nice, explain well, but tests r a lil bit hard especially when u take him in 6 weeks u can get material overload, but he is very helpful so u can always come to him n ask him questions, just study hard n u will do just fine.

Very cool, nice, and younger than most of my previous professors. Fun and makes material interesting and applicable to real life situations. Recommnend it with him in 12 weeks since you'll really learn things with him. He seems to enjoy teaching is a plus.

Dr. Aguirre is an excellent professor, that means that his class is interest, and he is very explicit. Professor Agruirre was excellent, SCB203 is not easy regardless who you chose, but the good thing about this professor is that he is very straight forward. Study his notes and you will do well on all his exams. I've never used the book or the study hall and I got an A just by memorizing his notes only before the exams.

His exam is not easy but the thing is that you'll lear alot from him abt biology. He is the great teacher indeed.

Prof. Aguirre is VERY easy. Too easy actually. If you want an A. Take him. It is impossible to fail his class. His lecture is all from the text book so you can always predict what he is going to say. I feel like his exams are way too easy as well. My lowest grade for his exams was a 96. He will always take time to explain thigs over and over.

Anatomy is a hard class but he made it so easy and clear to understand everything and that made me able to remember things very easily. He is always clear with exams and explanations. You just study his notes then you will have no problem. I learned a lot from his class.

He is not an easy grader but he is extremely helpful and that's why his students do so good in his class. He knows how to teach and doesn't forget that he was a student once. Loved having Professor Aguirre for lab. His lectures are straightforward and takes the time to answer questions/help students out for exams. He honestly does make the material quite easy, in my opinion. We in turn, just need to put in the effort afterwards and study hard. This is A&P, repetition is key! I had the pleasure of taking SCB-204 LAB. with professor Aguirre. He loves teaching and it shows, crystal clear explanations and very respectful with the students. SCB203 one of the Hardest classes any way. with professor Aguirre it will become doable and kind of easy if you do what you suppose to do (STUDY). You won't need any other martial beside the notes you take in his class, and if you like you may record it too. He really explains everything you need for the quizzes and testes. Excellent professor!! SCB203 is one of the hardest classes and Dr. Aguirre makes it easier and simpler. His lectures are amazing!! He is accessible outside the class as well. He explains everything in the class that you need to know for the the quizzes and tes but you also have to put effort in order to get good grades.

He's truly great: knowledgeable about his subject (Anatomy & Physiology) and truly wants you to do well. A good grade won't be easy to come by, though. Even if you go to all of his lectures, listen, and take notes, you'd have to study, study, and study some more, simply because of the nature of this course. Would definitely take his class again.

BEST A&P professor in LAGCC!! You get to learn a lot from his class. He gives amazing lectures. Just take notes to every detail he mentions, go through it before the exam and you are good. BEST professor! Took him for A&P I and then had to take him for A&P II because he's so great. Explains everything really well, breaks down the info for you. All the tests come directly from what he's taught during lecture, so you have to show up and take notes. I think I took 5+ pages of notes per class. So friendly, funny and passionate. A gem.

If u want go to pre med/ nurse practitioner, he is the best prof ever. His lecture is heavy and u need to take a note make sure write down everything he says. Quizz is hard and heavy. Not an easy A for sure. Again, if u want to learn then take him. He is very organized and clear grading criteria.

Overall a good professor. Passionate. However, I never used his PowerPoints for tests because not much that he said during lectures were in the powerpoint. Dennis is very good with lectures and explains everything in detail, and makes sure you understand which helps you a lot to get a good grade. My professor, has always provided a quality learning environment. Helped students improve their listening, speaking and writing skills through individual and group sessions. He always checked and evaluated our work. He sent materials to encourage and learn extracurricular activities, learning techniques and social issues.

Professor Aguirre is much friendlier than he may look, but his is a tough class to excel in. Lectures take up the entire class, although he does make a lot of jokes. His exams tend to have trick questions. The textbook is free online, and you must read it and study hard or else you will be lost during the test.

Professor Aguirre is the best Anatomy instructor at LGCC , and really needs to be the head of the dept . if you are lucky to get him , understand you have a Gem esp for lecture . I just took him for spring 1 he was so clear during lectures and very smart I love this subject and he made it so much fun and not boring theres alot of information in anatomy but with this professor things will be very clear and if you work hard and study it will be okay I wish i could take him for 204 his teaching style is the best ive hadso far

I had Prof Aguirre for SCB 203 and 204, for both Lec and lab and I can confidently say he's one of the best professors I've had. Everything he says during the Lec comes up on the tests, so if you pay attention and take good notes, you're set. I never felt bored even with 3 hours of his morning class and he gives us breaks in btw. Highly recommend!

He is a good person, teaching styles are amazing, punctual and always on the top. His teachings has lots of note taking. On the last day, he organized a small treat for the students, so nice. For students, English in not a primary language, his style of questions are tricky. Lectures, class sessions are amazing, exams are tough.

I am glad I took him for my SCB 204 this winter. He is efficient, thorough and very organized. His lectures are interesting and he teaches well. If you listen well to his lectures, you will do well.
