Dennis is an exceptional Instructor!
Dennis is a fantastic instructor and very knowledgable in medical law and ethics. He is patient and appreciates questions. His presentations are clear and interesting. He encourages civil debate on subjects that tend to be controversial so both sides are heard. I would highly recommend him as an instructor!
Dennis is great! He's thorough in his lectures and really encourages you to think about law and ethical issues. What I like about him in particular is that if he doesn't know the answer to your question off hand, he'll make sure to find the answer and get back to you!
Very knowledgeable instructor. Vey helpful and patient. Great at communicating with students. I think overall is an excellent instructor and strongly recommend him.
Dennis is a great teacher. He makes the class interesting and is a very fair instructor. His lectures are clear and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.
Dennis is a great teacher. He really wants to see his students succeed and makes himself available if you need extra help. He's very good about incorporating different learning styles into class. Really like that he brings in current events for every class. The only thing I would change about the class is the book.
Dennis is an excellent teacher. He always makes himself available to answer any questions. He really wants to see his students succeed. I highly recommend this teacher!
cool cat
Dennis was an excellent teacher because he is passionate about this topic and enjoys teaching. Along with the basics he included current events and topics specific to Oregon. Every class was interesting and exciting. Loved this class!
Great teacher
This professor is easy to learn from. He has a wealth of knowlege in this field and is more than willing to spend time answering any and all questions.
Not since my days at an east coast university have I had a prof who acts, dresses and teaches in a very New England-y way. I appreciated the clarity, directness and sincere interest in the subject matter, as well as the thoughtfulness with which he handled often controversial subject matter. This class was especially relevant!
Dennis appears to be very passionate about what he lectures, though I believe it is induced by his background in Law that gets his enthusiasm going instead of medicine. Overall, he made class enjoyable and was very generous in his grading. I had a fantastic term! Cheers!
Dennis is passionate in teaching law & ethics - specially topics that regard the Law part. He strongly encourage students to respect each others point of views when it comes to ethical issues/dilemmas. He gives good examples, including some personal experiences, related to topic being discussed, which I find it very sincere.
Passionate in teaching "Law & Ethics" specially about the "Laws". He brings additional & relavant news/laws to class & give examples ralated to the subject being discussed, including his own personal experiences which I find it sincere. He is helpful & he strongly encourage his students to respect each others point of views. He is good & fair.
Nice, approachable and friendly, but vague on test questions, and doesn't make subject matter sound very interesting
Dennis is very helpful, knowledgeable in law, brings interesting articles and shares his personal stories with the class which are very interesting. You have to really study hard for his exams since your grade is based on 1 exam, a final and a PowerPoint presentation. No homework involved. Helpful to attend every class.
Always willing to restate an issue or to repeat
Great teacher. Very helpful, and always willing to answer questions. Sometimes the lectures can run a bit long but obviously very knowledgable in the subject. If he doesn't know the answer to something he will look it up and let you know the next day.
He is a great Teacher. This class covers a variety of issues and he is clear on each of the topics. As long as you review the powerpoint presentations and read all handouts, you should be able to get a good grade on the tests.Lots of information is covered so it is important to stay on top of what is currently being covered He is very approachable
Good teacher, really knows his subject and is interested in the field. Could jazz up the class a bit with more organized group activities every other class.
Modifies the content so that it is appropriate for the Medical Assisting students taking this required course.
Good teacher, very approachable and helpful when you don't understand something. Covers a lot of information but he posts all of the lecture slides so easier to stay on top of things. Final exam is very long so make sure you keep all of your handouts and study.
Dennis is very nice and helpful. The class was definately hard for me!
He's a very sweet, nice teacher, but can get a little boring at times. Everything he covers is relevant. Useful info if you're into law. This class is needed for the MA program. Also, his class is pretty overwhelming for only a 2 credit course. So hopefully he'll turn a notch or 2 down with ALL the info he gives you. Overall, he's a cool teacher.
This class was mandatory for the MA program. While it's very dry material, Dennis does his best to make it interesting for us. He's a nice guy who really cares that we do well. There's a lot of information, and it can be overwhelming at times though.
Dennis did the best he could with a very dry subject. He always took the time to listen and try and help out in any way.
Boring class but Dennis and Sharon tried their best to keep our interest. Certainly supported an open platform for discussion.
This is class was great. He was able to take the boring legal issues and make them more interesting while letting everyone have their own opinion on the very controversial ethical issues. He knows his stuff!
Interesting topics brought up for dscussion and class was taught thoroughly.
He certainly knows his subject, and really likes what he is teaching. He allows people to state their views and listens. He wants to be very fair about everything. He has a great smile and is very funny.
Dennis was a great teacher who was always willing to let us express our opinions.
Dennis genuinely cares about each student and wants to make sure that everything in class is fair for the students.
He was a great instructor. He was open to change if the whole class was in agreement.
Tried very hard to make everything even... perhaps too hard. Unclear exactly what was expected.
Dennis was great!
Dennis is very thorough, and knows his information well. He is also a very fair instructor. I highly recommend him as an instructor.
Very fair instructor. Difficult tests but an overall easy class.
Dennis exhibits good values and a great sense of humor. He is genuinely interested in making the class fair and approachable to all students.
Dennis is very willing to work with the class and explain things if they need to be. His tests are very very hard but gave extra credit to make up for any shortfall!
Great instructor. Very clear during lectures. Exams were hard and not what I expected. He is understanding, flexible and willing to work with you.
Tests were very hard, not what was expected. Dennis was very helpful and nice.
He was alright teacher. I feel that he knew the information, but didn't always keep the class on topic. Also his tests questions were on things he said didn't need to be known or studied, making the test harder than expected.
Like most other college courses, if you come to class regularly, read the required material, and participate in discussion, you will get an A in this class. Attendance is not mandatory, but all test questions come from readings and class material so showing up makes a big difference. Dennis is very approachable if you are having any issues.
Tests were harder than expected, but Dennis is open to feedback. Fair instructor who really wants to help students learn the material.
Nice guy, but unclear about information that is important, and changes his mind about the direction of course too much.
Very approachable, very open and respectful to listening to feed back, very knowledgeable, and classes can be interesting. With that even if you attend all classes, participate and study that dose not at all guarantee you an A!!!!So much information you don't know were to focus your studies and tests are harder then need be,we are not in law school.
I really appreciate that there was no text book required. The exams were a bit harder than expected-Many grey areas in this subject matter, hard to pick one grey answer. Dennis has alot of compassion for his students, and puts his heart and soul into teaching this class.
Test was very hard, but found the class interesting. I could see that Dennis and Sharon put alot of thought into the course.
Dennis is very approachable and will answer any questions you have. The subject matter discussed in class was very interesting and current. I did find his exams difficult even though he posted a study guide.
Overall he is a very nice teacher. Very Unorganized as to how to teach the class or assign homework. the exams are extremely difficult and far from easy to study for. He doesnt seem to have a grip on how to prepare for exams at all and there is way too much material that he expects us to memorize and is never clear as to what points to study.
VERY difficult tests, NOTHING like the study guide or test questions. Very nice guy but way to much information was presented. Appreciate that there was no text, but made it more difficult to focus.
I found this class very interesting. Dennis teaches using a variety of tools and layman terms so that you can understand the law. I would highly recommend this teacher.
Good teacher and nice guy but study guide and review do not reflect actual test questions. We did not have a text book which was nice but he supplemented with a ton of news articles to read.
Dennis is very approachable and always willing to help you. I feel pretty confident and ask him questions. Also he always find current issues to discuss in class, which makes the subject matter more understandable, his exam was difficult even though he posted a study guide.
Great teacher.
Thank you for teaching the class!
All lectures were good
"Eye Opener" is this class to me after experiencing lecture materials, and reading all the interesting news.
A lot of reading. Quizzes are hard. Many times I feel I have the right answer but then after I submit the quiz it doesn't show the answers so you can't even tell ityou went wrong.
I have not receive or seen anything from him. I don't think he's very involved in the class
Dennis gave good feedback. Grades were posted timely, and the class expectations were clear. I liked how they did the short videos in each module, kind of helped me feel as though I was in the classroom.
Great teacher!
They are not forgiving if you miss a deadline for discussion or quiz submissions.
Nice guy, good communication and feedback. Reading lectures and articles is a must. Also group discussions and quizzes is a main part of the grade.
Good instructor. Make sure to do quizzes and weekly discussion posts. Also read lectures! You'll do fine.
Dennis is a great instructor. He is very knowledgable and responds to questions or emails promptly. He also offers extra credit, which is really nice.
Mr. Chapman has created a creative and enlightening class.
He is great at getting back to you when you ask a question. The course is a pretty easy A if you do the work required. All in all its an interesting class and everyone should know the information it provides. I would take it again if i could.
Cool teacher. Online, so I didn't really get to know him.
this professor is a great man who gives good feedback
I took his class online and found that he was a great teacher who was helpful and easygoing
He always give good feedback.
Discussion posts once a week, quizzes every other week. Pretty easy class if you just follow deadlines and do the work!
Swapping instructors on day of midterm was not a good idea. A study guide for tests will be helpful rather than just depending on memory from lectures. Very personable/courteous.
Dennis is a great teacher. He explains the articles we read each week with great detail and the concepts of each article.
This class was super easy to follow and well organized. All the content was online and sorted by week. I found it all easy to digest and informative. Dennis was engaging and responsive.
I have been taking classes with disability accommodations for many years, and this is the first that I have had a teacher have the double time for exams have it set up before I even asked! Besides this, Instructor Chapman showed more compassion than I have had from a teacher, ever. Thank you for the hope that people do care about others!!
Dennis is a great teacher. He responds to your question quickly and clearly. If you read lectures, articles and come to class for discussion, then you will be OK
Hard to judge professor based on online class structure. Lectures were detailed.
Clear, concise content with video lectures made the weeks work clearer
The quizzes were tough to study for because you have to remember material from two weeks.
Mid-term, Final, and a presentation are the only assignments given in this class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but many of the test questions are over material that was presented in class. Tests are 30-40 questions. Questions are tricky. Presentation is with a partner.
he is one of best instroctors I had in pcc.
Dennis is very interested and knowledgeable on subject matter. He was also funny. There is not much work outside of class so attendance is important to learn information that will be on midterm and final. Material was over-explained for me, I like things simple and to the point. Tests cover a lot of lecture material and require a lot of preparation
Dennis gave great feedback to the class in weekly e-mails which summarized how the class discussions went. Be careful to read between the lines and respond to the appropriate amount of posts. All in all, the class was great and the readings/assignments given were thought-provoking and interesting. Great class!
Easy class.
Dennis is a great teacher. He is very helpful. This class is also taught by Sharon Brill. Theres no book required for this class. There are PowerPoint slides and articles for each topic every week. There are Midterm and Final Exam. Presentation with a partner. There are a lot of opportunities for extra credit. I liked this class.
Graded only on tests and presentation. Test is not difficult but you have to understand the powerpoint slides in the class and study hard to get good grade.
he is a very nice teacher, and he is very helpful.
Very friendly class
This class has no text book so going to class is necessary. The information is available outside of class to study however. Over all it was a interesting class.
Dennis is a stellar lecturer who requires you read current cases in the news, form an opinion on the ethical issues about the case, then be prepared to voice your opinion while still maintaining civility and respect for your fellow classmates. Very insightful for learning about the nuances of law in medicine.
Dennis was very detailed for his section and made sure to cover everything for each topic. His Law appearance made him a little intimidating, but some how the jokes he told in class made him a pretty nice guy. He also was a medical assistant which I am applying for fall 2018. Awesome information.
Learned a lot!
I enjoyed taking this class and learning more about law ethics and how they interact within the medical field. I would have liked to have more quizzes throughout the term to study and have a better idea of what would be expected to know on the midterm and final exams.
Teach good and are interesting during lectures.
Dennis gave a clear lectures that we should know about Health care law policies, he also gave a good feedback. I learned a lot from this class, and I hope will used it in the near future. I'll recommend to other students. Thanks
I love to take their class and I enjoy her class, however, i recommend whoever took this class should take note, download all of the lectures so at least when you take final. you can use them
The articles provided and he really made us able to put our material in to real life situations
The professor clearly explained each weeks work and provide prompt feedback on the assignments.
He is a great teacher and really cares about his students and if you aren't doing good in the class on a couple of things he comes to you and asks whats going on and really cares and wants you to pass
If you are on the fence on deciding whether or not to take the class, then my advice to you is to just take it. You will have no regrets. It's extremely engaging.
Professor Chapman was great. Just the right amount of work. If you do the required reading, take the quizzes, there is no reason not to get an A
Dennis Chapmen is a great teacher to take a class with. He provides clear instructions and the work is manageable as long as you do it you will get an A. Also if you encounter any problems with the module he is quick to respond to your emails.
I honestly think anyone that is planning on taking MP 140 should take Mr. Chapman. He is the best teacher I have had by fair. Very clear on instructions, answers your questions every times, and likes to crack jokes! He gives extra credit which is such a life saver thing to do. Awesome teacher and learned a lot from his class!
Clear and fair. He is thoughtful and you can tell that he cares about your success as a student.
Dennis is a teacher I recommend to anyone. His class was very thought provoking and interesting. He has great outlines for each week and is available for email if you have any questions. The work load is not too heavy but not too light and seems to be a perfect balance for that class. Would take this class again if I could!
I really enjoyed the course and I could tell Dennis is very passionate about the issues that were taught in this class.
This class was okay. I wouldve liked it more based on the specifics of law and ethics and less discussion/opinion based.
The workload for this class felt pretty heavy, but that might just come with the territory with Law and Ethics. Lots of reading! The student powerpoint projects are incorporated into the final exam, which seems a little odd to me, but overall it was a good class and Dennis is very helpful!
Dennis is very friendly and approachable, respects students' works, grading fairly and give good feedback.
This is a professor that really knows how to let you know what your working for. Gives little short videos at the beginning of every week so you get familiarized with who he is. Gives amazing feedback on weekly discussions and what his thoughts are and is always respectful of everyone's opinions. A class really worth taking!
I really enjoyed this class. Very interesting lectures and also a very organized course. The weekly objectives were clear. Discussions due every Friday and quizzes are due on Sundays. Good communication with Mr. Chapman. Just read the lectures, breaking news topics and also participate in the class and you will do well. Trust me!
Dennis was clear about his criteria and expectations, however not unreasonable. He is willing to listen to complications and possible challenges and problem solve with the student.
He make A video of him self to tell us a brief about the lecture, that makes it he is their for us even if it's online classes.
Dennis is such a great professor, he's understandable and availabe any time that you email him. He's fair abotu grading and make sure that you are doing fine and have good grade at the end, he's supportive
An interesting class that really gets the wheels turning.
He just seems like a nice person, easy to relate to, approachable.
He's awesome
I really was able to enjoy the course, there was alot of new and intresting information given out and it was not too much to read. The material they gave was also very intrestingm, they did add some back to date stuff, but none of it made me hit the snooze button!
very quick at replying to email and giving detail when asking a question. Explains all assignments and project well.
Great class with highly relevant material! Loved the discussions
Great class, one of my favorites so far at PCC. Professor is awesome! I would definitely recommend this professor and class!
Interesting and informative. As long as you do the work you will pass the class. All opinions are respected and valued and it is okay to not agree with topics. You will not be treated poorly if you do not agree with any or all of the topics talked about. The work was not to difficult and the testing was easy as long as you read the materials.
the instructor so great but the only issue i have is the quizzes no study guide
Overall good well organized class. Very informative when it came to topics and since there were no books, there are lots of articles to read (which are very interesting, way better than textbooks). Kept in good contact with the class.
The topics and lectures are useful and interesting. There are clear contents for each topic.
Very easy class. I was worry to take this class online because English is my second language but it was very easy to understand and interesting class. Good taking it online.
Awesome course with thought provoking and interesting outside reading that helps one gain a deeper understanding of medical law and ethics.
Fun and easy class.
Really enjoyed the current articles and discussions he lead for Law and Ethics.
I found the course in Health Law & Ethics very interesting. Test-wise, it's important to read and understand both the lecture materials and the required readings that are provided from week to week. You'll learn a lot from participating in class discussions, too!
paired up with another instructor, but the other instructor did most of the lecturing/grading. dennis does a great job with the video presentations, though!
They were a good instructor to an online class. They were nice enough to alert us to projects a great time in advance.
This professor has clear grading criteria.
Good Instructor.
You do learn a lot in this class but not too much work!
Dennis is a great instructor for the MP 140 Health and Ethics class online. The grading criteria is clear cut, he quickly responds, he grades fairly and makes the class relevant and interesting. His brief video introductions to some of the subjects really helped add a personal touch and build rapport. Highly recommend!
He wasn't really super prevalent in the online class. So maybe it's different in the actual class. He seems like a good prof!
I was nervous about taking this class until week one when I realized how clear the grading is, and how straight forward the discussions are! If you keep up with the lecture reading modules, discussions, and weekly quizzes you should be perfect in this class!
I loved taking this online class with Dennis Chapman he is a very nice person and very understandable.
Dennis Chapman is a personable teacher who doesn't give out weekly quizzes, but still need to participate. Most of the grading on the online class comes with being involved with the online discussions which are very interesting.
Very good communication through out the course, gave opportunities for extra credit, and had interesting material to understand the course.
Great communication!
Very straightforward. Lectures were clear and understandable. A lot of reading but most readings are short and simple.
I enjoyed this class so much and all of the material provided was very useful not only for class but to use for work as well. I felt that I understood more of the laws behind the medical field and when I seen some documents at work I would know what it was and go back to the material to refer too. Was available when I needed him.
Make sure you remember to take your quiz's
He guided very enthusiastic
Great professor! His lectures are really informative and makes learning the material easier.
He was my second (less involved) professor for the class, he was fine.
Great class. You must participate.
Too much reading articles and lectures. There should be a mid-term in order to break up term and help prepare for final exam. Too much memorization only available at the last minute, which the information was needed for the final exam.
really good instructor, good and interesting lectures that are good to know for life. instructions are clear of what to do and homework to turn in.
This class was very informative and interesting. There was two instructors one for the first half one for the second half. Even with this the organization was great and the class was easy to follow. Both instructors graded fairly and they both expected the same thing. I would definitely take more with these instructors.
awesome
It was my first online class and I actually found it very easy to keep up with the required readings and the quizzes and discussions. It was very structured which I really appreciated.
It's pretty straight forwards. As long as you do the readings, take the tests, study and do everything within the time period you will do fine.
Really good teaching plan, instructors have weekly wrap-ups, weekly discussions and quizzes aren't that bad as long as you do the reading.
Mr. Chapman did a very good job of making sure his students knew the assignments and due dates for each week. He always informed students of how they would be graded. He also replies to emails quickly.
Enjoyed this class but the learning modules were a little confusing but that was the schools system and Chapman clearly stated the system hang ups.
Dennis provides clear objectives to the learning modules. Weekly wrap-ups provide useful summaries of materials covered. A study guide is provided for the final exam, plus an opportunity for extra credit.
I took an online class with Dennis and really enjoyed the topics discussed. They were controversial and I found myself getting lost in research with some of the topics. He's very objective and seems like a stand up guy.
He was very informative and straight forward, as long as you did all the readings and discussions posts you will be fine. A lot of readings were posted, to me personally it was a little excessive but they were informative to read and interesting.
Very good at leading online courses. I love that this class did not require us to purchase anything other than the course itself. He responds to emails quickly, accommodates extra needs easily, communicates clearly. The class has one group project, the instructions were very clear. Discussion posts are important, but not difficult.
I took Intro to Health Law and Ethics with Dennis online. If you read the short lectures and reading modules that he posts youll do great. He offers extra credit opportunities and is very kind. He is accesable through email and respoonds quicly.
This was an online course so there wasn't any in person meetings, but this teacher was always very clear on assignments and grading criteria. There would be various lectures each week, and you could tell that he put in the time and effort to make each one easy to understand and thorough. There was one project but again very clear instructions.
His expecations of the class are very clear and therefore the objective to do well is easy to obtain if you do the work and stay up on the class participation discussions. There is lots of reading but honestly they articles and lectures are very interesting. would highly recommend this class.
The Professor was clear, and class was straight forward, I had no issues.
The class was made very clear from the beginning on what to expect from the online class. The course includes a weekly discussion and response with a lecture and a couple of required articles to read. Usually a quiz every other week covering previous materials. Happy we did not have to purchase anything for this class.
Took the MP140 course with him. He is one of the professors that really exemplify the phrase, "There are no stupid questions when learning." Whenever I asked something I always got a clear answer and never had to follow up. While there IS a lot to read, it's always pertaining to the class's topic that week so it's actually intresting.
This was a great class, that had lots of interesting topics to learn from! There are 4 quizzes, no midterm, and of course a final! There are weekly discussions and required readings but they aren't that long! I really enjoyed this class very much!
Chapman is very clear and concise about his expectations for this class. There's no text book needed, however there's still a lot of reading and material to learn about. There's almost a discussion every week, so participation matters! However the discussions are helpful with concepts. 1 group project, and a quiz every two weeks. I recommend him!
I especially appreciated that some of the content was relative to our current COVID pandemic experience, with helpful resources and links to build upon our learning experience.
I found Professor Chapman's class to be very interesting. I enjoyed law in high school so I was excited to take another law class. The articles he choice for us to read were engaging. Professor Chapman was also very helpful when it came to answering questions and explaining concepts. This class was required for the Medical Assisting program.
Great professor and great class! Should be mandatory for every program, as its content relates and affects everyone. If you participate and do your work (which is clearly outlined), you will learn and earn a good grade.
Dennis was a great instructor. Lectures are simple and easy to understand. One group project that is submitted at the end of the term. Hes a quick grader and quick to respond to any questions you may have. Overall, Id take his class again.
Hello, I took this class online and it was very enjoyable. The pace of this class is nicely planned and the teacher is helpful.
Because it was an online class with another provider, I think I only had videos to go off that he delivered.
I took this class online and it was very enjoyable. The topics are very interesting and as long as you study youll do good. I would recommend Dennis to anybody who wants to take MP 140
There is a lot of reading, but as long as you read the lectures and read the articles you will make it through the class just fine!
Good class, a lot of information. Stay on top of lectures and reading material and you'll do fine. Take advantage of the extra credit opportunities.
Professor Chapman comes across as kind, caring, and genuinely passionate about the subject matter, which is motivating. He makes himself available to help when needed.
Give good feedbacks and reply to email the same day. Not a lot of homework but lots of reading. Just do your work and you'll get easy A. Would recommend this class to other students.
Professor Chapman is fair. If you do the reading and the discussions you will receive full credit. The quizzes are straightforward.
This class taught me many things about the law and ethics in the medical profession.
Good professor, there was two professors for this class, I was surprised. One group project that is a major part of grade. Lots of reading, not a lot of graded assignments to earn extra points. Some test are misworded and some answers do not match material provided to us. Do your work and review material before test and you should be fine.
Offers introduction videos prior to that week's lesson, to give a brief view into what to expect for that week.
Shares a class with another professor and trades off every other week. I do not care for that teaching module as I have found it to be confusing.
Dennis was straightforward with what he was asking for in the class. The class was easy to navigate and very organized. As long as you stay on top of the reading, you will do fine in the class. Definitely recommend taking this class with Dennis!
This was a great class.
The class was an online format and was pretty easy. The professor was clear about instructions.
His health and law class was really interesting. It wasn't a heavy load of work each week and everything you needed to do was straight to the point. There were about 4 quizzes and a final, not too hard if you study the required readings and lectures. Would definitely take this class again.
Overall it was a great class, you learn a lot!
Great class to be a part of
I wish I could've gotten the chance to take this class with him in real life, but from the videos I saw of his topic explanations, he seems to be a sweetheart who really cares about the material and your involvement in it. This guy really wants you to do well, and he's very clear about what it takes, so don't disappoint him, man. A great class.
Responded my emails right away. I was concerned about passing the class. He told me I could still pass my class if I did the upcoming stuff . He is very nice. I like this class ! It was easy. The problem is that I have being so busy with work and other classes too that is why I got behind. Thank you professor.
Dr. Chapman is a gem! He wants to make sure that you pass and still retain the information. I did not have to buy any textbooks for the class, he provided all reading materials. Participation and doing your readings for the quizzes is what is going to carry you through the class! Easy peasy... as long as you do your part!
I took Sharon Brill for Into to Health Law and Ethics but Dennis Chapman was Sharon's co-teacher. His videos were helpful because he explained very clear and it was easy understand it.
This class was so fun! The information is thought-provoking and the weekly discussions are great!
great teacher! Loved taking this class and everything we learned was super fun and interesting.
You will learn a lot from MP140 and Dennis Chapman. Materials are well organized. Instructor had very creative way to have classmates work together and know each other which I think to be very important for online classes. It was not difficult for me because I am a returned students, but if you are new to college, might be a 3 level.
I very well enjoyed this class because I can see that my professor cared. He was always very helpful and Ive learned a lot from taking this class. The lectures was very interesting to read and it was an easy class. As long as you do your homework and turn it in on time.
Dennis was very supportive and made the class interesting and enjoyable, really was an easy class and he made it great.
Every week, there was a discussion post and two required readings, and lecture notes to read over. There were quizzes every few weeks. Readings were fun to discuss. As long as you complete the work and put in effort, you'll do well. There was also a partner presentation due near the end of the term. Professor was nice and had clear guidelines
He clearly states what is expected during class. Extra credit is offered and there are also group projects in this class.
I enjoyed this professor. He was passionate about the subject and expectations were clearly communicated. His lectures, quiz questions, breaking news articles, and teaching style was relevant and engaging. I would take a class with him again.
I took this class with Dennis and Sharon Brill. I learned to be mindful of ethics and law when in comes to healthcare in particular during death and life. Would take again.
Take again
Very communicative.
Fun class to take! The workload is fixed around the same schedule is the same every week. A lot of content is around your own beliefs.
We studied both historical as well as recent studies. It was an interesting class that was easy to manage. Sometimes quiz questions could be misleading but it's easy to make up the points in other areas. I'd take a class with Professor Chapman again
I enjoyed this class. There were discussions, posts, and reading articles every week, 4 quizzes, and 1 group project at the end. The lecture was informative. If you read the lecture and articles every week, you will get a good grade.
This class is informative and has a manageable work load. Great information for the AAMA and working in healthcare in general.
