He's ok, he likes to talk alot about things that can upset some students and some might seem to agree. He just needs to think before he speaks, beacuse students dont want hes opinon. they just want to learn about the class subject.

Today is the 20th, grades are not posted, how could anyone receive an A yet, I took the on-line course and have not received a grade yet. I do not believe the person before me. Hes a good storyteller, and cusses, making his stories that much more interesting. He cancelled class like 5 times this semester, so we were quite behind. one in-class exam, one take-home exam, and the final is also take-home. He might seem intimidating at first ;) but he's a really chill teacher

He is a pretty laid back guy. All the homework is online and its pretty much read the online book and answer the questions. Has "colorful" language but will understand if you don't like it. Love this teacher by far my easiest class of the semester. He does everything to try to make you learn and pass the class. I would recommend taking him and attending class regularly all the work needed to pass is done during class he's only left one homework and it was stuff that was directly on the test. Easy class to pass all you need to do is memorize vocabulary words and read. You will never be bored in that class he makes jokes that relate to the lesson and his students,he will also help you pass the class if you are in trouble by the end of the semester.

Professor Falcon is straight forward, and real. He does have a sense of humor that takes some getting used to, but he is quite funny. Professor Falcon makes Political Science interesting and applicable to everyday life. He tries to make us more knowledgeable citizens in general, by the way he gives his lecture material. This is a typical college class in which most of your grade depends on tests. But don't freak out! Falcon is the offspring George Lopez and George Carling, he's crude, cynical, and quite funny. Some students get quickly turned off by this, but hes trying to teach students the reality of life. If you could imagine a rather quirky reincarnated version of Richard Feynman, some would consider this professor so. The lectures are a harmonic balance between anecdotes and empirical evidence (given its Poli Sci), thus challenging the class to investigate for themselves. Cumulative grading is used, but if one studies the given, they'll be okay.

He is soooo funny and his lectures are easy to follow. He even gives you Quizlet sets for the test to study and if you study them, you're guarenteed an A on the test. Just participate because he likes seeing that and do the assignments and it shouldn't be too hard. I honestly loved his class.

You only need a 70% on the tests to get full credit. First test is the most challenging(but not really), next tests are the easiest things ever. Participate in class, don't be afraid to give your opinion, he encourages it. Ask for study guides and he'll give one. He posts note cards on Quizlet too. Sometimes goes to events too.

Dennis Falcon is a cool teacher. It was my first year of College and my dad actually recommended him for me. He said he was funny and a super easy teacher. When I took him everything my dad said was absolutely right. Love how easy he is. You literally just take quizzes online and the exam questions are similar to the quizzes. I recommend him!

He's intimidating at first to be honest, but after the first week you'll definitely get more comfortable. Hilarious and always makes classes interesting. Very passionate about political science and also very entertaining. We didn't use a textbook, and almost everything was a lecture or note taking. SLO tests are very easy if you do the practice quizzes online. He gives out a lot of extra credit, but make sure to still pass every test no matter how much extra credit you have.

Beware of his last minute class cancellations had his class at 9:30 and he would send a message at 9. Other than than make sure to work on your notebook and youll be fine.

NO TEXTBOOK! Took him over other POL101 classes cuz they required a $100 TB while he REQUIRED a $6 WB he made and can sometimes be used on exams. Knows a lot of students take POL101 for the GE so he makes it fun and interesting. He's generally really funny too! Grades based on online quizzes & 4 exams. Offers extra credit through in-class games!

Prof. Falcon is funny and insightful, his lectures are more anecdotal but usually relate back to whatever the topic is for the day. A lot of the work is done in his workbooks ($6 @ bookstore) and you can even use it on in-class exams, so it's incentive to fill them out as much as possible. Super easy class and very interesting professor.

Pretty easy professor all you have to do is to make sure you pass the quizzes and do a couple of the discussions he puts up. The tests are high on points but theyre really easy and based on material he provides.

AMAZING AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! I choose him as a professor because one of my friends recommended me to take his class she had him a few years back. I never really understood politics until now. For the summer class, it was frustrating at first because there was no textbook so we all had to google search all the answers and information for the quizzes and for the worksheet book (which you are to collab w/other students) but if you have Quizlet you are guaranteed an A+. VERY easy class. No HW, just tests and Participation only.

The professor does not bs on his lectures. He's very straightforward on how federal and state governments are different and the flaws if both aren't able to compromise. He also provides a study guide that becomes useful for quizzes and exams, and it's open book.

This is a very easy class. The grading criteria are simple to understand. He appears to be very passionate about teaching political science. His teaching method is good, although I think it depends entirely on the student. Overall, he's a good and funny professor.

The class was okay, nothing too hard. You make 3 annotations per chapter and then take a quiz for every 3-ish chapters. The annotations count as attendance and you get up to 3 tries for each quiz. I recommend hitting up Quizlet though as it was such a big help before taking a quiz.

Professor Falcon is definitely one of a kind and I would take his class again in a heartbeat. He is straight up about politics so be ready to hear things that might catch you off guard (in the best way possible lol) overall great lectures, easy grader as long as you participate and do the quizzes, activities and respond to the discussion posts.

One of the most chill and fun professors I've ever taken, almost all assignments are done online and all quizzes are open notes, including the mid-term. Lectures are mainly him talking about interesting stuff like politics and real-life things. He's also very lenient on grading and is straightforward on what you need to do.
