The class is easy and informative. At the end of the classes I took with him (1301 and 1302) he told everyone if they ever needed a letter of recommendation, he would be happy to provide it.

This is the easiest class anybody could ever take... he tells everyone what the test is basically if you dont makeand a in his class you are not going to make it in life

This class is very easy..he has sloppy handwriting for his essays he loves to write out up on the board..but other than that and his boring videos and corny jokes i recommend this class!

i took both 1301/1302. i love mr.gray! he is so funny, dorky and cool! Everyone should make an A. Super easy!! Lectures/videos can be boring sometimes. You need your textbook but you dont have to read. Just do your homework and memorize essays you will do fine! After summer he will only be teaching HIST 2321. ill be takin that class for sure!

Professor Gray is GREAT! Very easy. Go to class, write down what he says and you'll guaranteed to pass the class. If you fail his class, it's only because you did NOT try. Tests are very easy. Need more teachers like Prof Gray, a really straight-forward instructor who is very helpful and not overly difficult. I took him for a Maymester, worked a job full time and got an A+ (99%). His lectures are fun an interesting too!

Im taking his class right now. His class is really easy. You go to class, doing group works, watching movies, taking some notes down... and in the end he will give you all answers for those questions which will be on the tests. 1 presentation, 1 paper. Yup, that's all.

He can come off as a bit spazzy, and the class does cover a wide range of events in a small amount of time, but the class itself is cake. He does whatever it takes to help you out and gives the answers to the tests. If you need an A - this would be a great class for you!

Awesome Prof. He makes class easy and knows alot abt history. He's very helpful and understanding. Tests are MCs and short answers which he also goes over. if you study you'll make A's. He also makes you do a source discussion paper which he'll help you with. then every other day we watch a documentaries. Great Prof!

Professor gray is awesome and this class is EASY. Hold on to the fill in the blank sheets and essay question answers everyday as they are the same questions as the test. If you're missing one make sure to get it from a classmate you won't get it from him. One project that only requires skimming through a history book for an hour. Take him.

Professor Gray Dennis will be highly recommended any day anytime, if you fail this class you are a complete DUMMY and a ZOMBIE. For sure pass class. As long as you try then he will not allow you to fail. Test are ridiculously easy, about 20 questions and only three total. Book is needed but overall great guy and loves what he does!

Took him both 1301 and 1302 because of his easy class. He is very kind to all the students and his grading helps everyone to pass the course. You will never regret if you take him, I guarantee you that. Thank you professor Gray.

well! i can think of only two reasons why one may fail his class. first reason, that one must be really lazy. second reason, they deliberately want to fail his class.

You can't ask for an easier class! Mr. Gray provides sheets with questions and you must fill in the blank. You need the book in order to do this. The questions in the tests are exactly the same questions on the sheets that he provided in class. He makes the class interesting. Easy A.

I think everybody else just said what I want to say. I got A+ in HIST 1301 and just got another A+ for my HIST 1302. TLDR: this class is easy, take it, and get an easy A+++++++++.

I drop 2 times History 1 and History 2 BUT, I took History 1301 lecture with Professor Dennis Gray. First, I learned the History of America very well. Second, He is very knowledgeable, respectful and patience, Third, Very Good exams . Just do what he asks and learn it easily. You learn and get an "A".

He is very easy going and nice! He only based grades on test and one project. His class is really easy and questions on the test comes straight from the study guides. He also tells you what will be on the test. Test is really easy and short.

This guy is awesome. The assignments were mostly group work, and every now and then we would watch a movie based on the chapter. Before each test, he goes over what you should study. It is hard to imagine someone failing his class. Attendance doesn't really effect your grade but he does award those who do always show up.

I took both history classes from Mr. Dennis Gray. I so enjoyed 1301 with him, that me, along with SO many of the other classmates took 1302 with him. Hes so awesome, genuine, cares for his students and wants to see you succeed!! Attendance isnt mandatory, but I would strongly suggest you go to class. GREAT professor.

I would recommend Professor Gray for ANY history class. It might seem like his class is easy, but the easiness comes from him being a good teacher. Rather than having you memorize stuff, he tells the story and facts behind dates and names. That makes things easy to remember. He's a good guy. In my experience, he's in the top 5 professors I've had.

he really cares about his students. the class is really easy, the tests focus on definitions and the fill-in-blank notes you take in class. there are 2 papers you have to write, the first one is easy, the second one you have to read in front of the class. I have terrible anxiety but it wasn't that bad. if you have any problem, just talk to him. :)

The easiest class I've taken. The 3 exams are exactly like the fill in the blank notes. You need the textbook for the notes but you don't really need to read it. There's 2 biographies and you can write about anyone. 1st biography is a page at the most and 2nd one is a continuation of the 1st one. Prof Gray is nice and responds to emails quickly.

He deserves a GOLD metal. I highly recommend any of his courses. This class requires you to read a whole lot so make time. He is a kind and patient professor. He is courteous and responds to emails in a timely manner. This was my last class with him, and I will miss him dearly.

Professor gray was truly such a good teacher! He has a passion for teaching as well as has extremely easy tests and assignments. All of his tests are open note and online and he also gives you almost two weeks to complete any assignment/test. He was amazing I would take him again!

I really enjoy this teacher. I had him for dual credit and not only was he a great teacher, but he also was a very caring one. He always makes my day and as long as you respect him, hell pour your heart into your growth. He constantly cares for me and is making sure Im doing them best that I can. I took this class as a fast-paced online course. He was a very understanding professor when students wouldn't turn assignments in on time. There were three exams, one writing assignment, and one discussion board post with replies. I got some points off on certain assignments and I didn't know why because he didn't communicate that with me.

Prof Gray is HANDS DOWN the best professor i've ever had. He is sweet caring and quirky. Come to class, do the work and be respectful and you will pass. If you take his summer course he has 3 quizzes, 1 discussion board a final paper and a final exam. All easy to pass if you read your textbook and listen to his lectures. Such an awesome guy!

Easy class as long as you show up. Usually gets out earlier than given time because he talks through notes quickly and then lets you out. Most tests are open note and he gives you lists of terms you can define directly out of the book for a perfect answer.

Dennis Gray is the best historian I have ever seen. He uses the American yawp book for the lectures and the tests are composed of definitions and questions from this book, really simple. If you take the online class, the tests are done by the Inquisitive platform due every weekend. He is the best history professor!
