he is always available to help out.he makes sure evrybody is understanding the material and if your not understanding he makes it his business to make you understand it.one of the best math teachers i have had.

Professor S is the man i never understood math i took his class and i understand more than i ever had.. and if you need help he will be there, all you have to do is your work and participate and he will take care of you

he uses your intuition then shows you how you are right by a method. you have to do your work our you are wasting your time.

easiest teacher ever but if your 30 secounds late its the worst thing in the world to him...HE will want to drop you from the course...but other than that hes easy and nice

stramiello is great. I took his class and he is extremely helpful. We had to pass a test like every week which i thought was great b/c it makes you keep on top of your work and not slack off like some teachers allow. He was one of my best teachers

Great Teacher! Well organized and prompt. Doesn't miss a class unless told ahead of time. Learn inverse functions in advance, they're tricky.

This course was a very different type of class. You don't need to be a strong "math" student...just a student. If you do your work, come on time, and pay attention even if you got a D or F in your last math class you can get a B or even an A. Some of the stuff is very diferent and very interesting. He teaches you to think.

well i just began summer school and this guy seems very cool though its just the first week i think hes nice and very helpful a little fast paced but thats summer school he explains things alot til you get it makes math pleasant which is impossible for me great guy will take more classes taught by him if possible definetly recommend to everyone

kind of a boring teacher. wants u do well but hard. i took precalc in hs and took it in college just bc i thought i would do well bc it wud be the 2nd time around but it was nothing like wat i had taken. it was hard and totally different. i got a C for the semester and was LUCKY bc i was close to getting a D. just participate, do homework!

great prof....i took him ova da summer....i enjoyed it....as long as u do hw u will be straight....i pulled an A in his class....and his tests are fair not tryn to trick us or anything

good real world examples and life lessons. you better come on time and be sure to do the hw. it's the same stuff as h.s. but now you really get to understand it

THE COURSE IS A BORING TOPIC. HE IS VERY ORGANIZED, PREPARED, HAS NOTES ON OVERHEAD, IS HAPPY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND DOES GO OVER THE HW EVERYDAY. I AM IN THE HALF OF THE CLASS THAT DOES SOME WORK SO I KNOW HE FINDS IT DIFFICULT TO TEACH STUDENTS WHO JUST SIT THERE AND DO NOTHING. I THINK I WILL GET AN A. HE IS VERY FAIR.

He is a very nice teacher. Will help you if asked, can be sarcastic at times but does everything in your own favor and will not be rude. He is very fair!

Prof. is very involved in his work. His attempts to get the students involved... fall flat (typical NCC students). All you have to do is : your homework, get to class on time, and ask ALOT of questions (HE GIVES YOU 5 EXTRA POINTS AT END OF CLASS IF YOU ARE INVOLVED!!!). I will never go to NCC again, but enjoyed his class.

LOVE HIM! He really knows his stuff and makes nerdy ways to remember numbers. Really shows you all the different ways to approach different math problems. Do the homework if you dont understand he'll go over everything you dont understand. Study the quiz that you take its just like his tests just easier.

Excellent professor. Very kind and helpful. He is very fond of mathematics and has the credentials to back up this viewpoint; he can be cutting with his remarks at times, simply show him respect (come to class on time, don't speak in class) and he will treat you the same. Very fair and direct professor, would take him again if I could.

HE GIVES YOU EVERY CHANCE TO DO WELL. HE EXPLAINS, CHALLENGES YOU, AND APPROACHES PROBLEMS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. IT IS AMAZING THAT ALL WAYS WORK!! GOOD REAL WORLD EXAMPLES. HE PREPARES YOU FOR CALCULUS BUT UNDERSTANDS THAT NOT ALL PRECALC STUDENTS GO ON.

Truly is a genuine good person. Wants students to succeed and holds his patience but unfortunately, typical NCC students,lazy don't listen and have a lack of ambition. I see he then focuses on students who want to learn. Which is not a bad thing because, what else can you do for the students who just don't want to be in school in general. Thankyou.

Explains everything throughly and answers all questions. Always looking to help. You MUST show up for class he only wants people in his class who want to be there and learn. If your not going to show up he will give you a W.

He's a good professor as far as teaching but his little side comments are extreamly rude. You just have to brush him off but he's dealable. They're a few kids in my class that are a little slow and he's rude to them. He comes off very condesending but he's dealable.

Professor Stramiello was by far the best math teacher I've had in years!!! Very caring and understanding, hardly gives too much work just the necessary, will explain as many times until you understand what's going on, attendance is a must as well as bringing a calculator and textbook to class, perhaps only bad thing is he is NEVER absent!

Very good professor. So crystal clear. Really wants students to understand. Funny guy, good guy but doesnt take kindly to sleepers and texters. HW not mandatory but it REALLY helps for the tests. Easy class and wound up being pretty interesting. Would def take him again.. he helped me to enjoy math!

Test are very easy, anything over the top and he also makes curve to them. I didn't use the textbook at all cause he has it on a projector, but you need it for the hw anyways. I love his class, he is such a good math teacher :)

Prof. Stramiello is a great math teacher. Always do the homework before going to class. All of the tests and quizzes are mostly based on the assignments.

I learned a lot from his tests. They are more about seeing connections than just getting an answer to a random problem. Come on time, do the HW, and ask questions and you WILL learn much.

really good teacher, if you pay attention and do the hw (optional) you will do fine. all you have to do is try a little. dont miss classes it will affect your grade. i thought it was a very easy class, explained the material a lot! need textbook. study pg 15 and 73.

God, he is such a great teacher. I went into his class hoping for a C just so i can have a grade to get me into another college. I just finished his course and i came out with an A!! This is the first time ive ever gotten an A in math in my life he made me like math for once, hes clear, his test are completely fair just do the HW!!

One of the best teachers I have ever had. I took him in the summer and it was exactly what I expected. I would take him again and again if I could. Not an easy A, but that's how it should be. You will learn a lot, just don't waste the class's time because you won't last very long. Doesn't check HW, but make sure you do it. You get what you put in.

Really Good

Easy A but you have to work for it. Takes attendance everyday and takes points off average if you miss class regularly. Calls on you without you raising your hand. VERY sarcastic, I walk out of class everyday saying why is he such a.... Quizzes every other class (helpful) and 3 exams plus a final. Overall pretty good class

Great professor... if you have an interest in the subject. Seriously, he does a great job covering all corners and loves to help his students. If you aren't great at math it's still a fun class to be in and he will try his best to see you with a good grade. would take again.

Stramiello is an awesome professor I really enjoyed his class so much He calls on students and if you dont know the answer or understand it he will help you step by step through the problem He can be sarcastic and speaks his mind so If youre super sensitive you might get offended lol but hes only speaking the truth but hes really great

He gives out a packet as he starts each new topic. They are 50-60 multiple choice questions which helped me focus on the topics. Some are done in class, some are assigned for homework with the answers posted. Almost all of these questions appear on his exams. He set a limit of 10 lates/absences. Over the limit, your grade gets lowered.

I'm just finishing his course. Took final yesterday. Very fair and it was what we studied. No surprises. I don't understand other students saying he takes off points for absences. After many absences or later your grade will be reduced. I had no pop quizzes. They are all announced on his schedule which is given to us. He drops lowest test & quizzes

Professor Stamiello is very fair. There are 3 tests which he well prepares you for. You could be absent like 10 times till it actually effects your grade, try to come as much as you can because he does go over a lot of information each class. The homework is optional but it will help you in the long run. I would take him again.

The course was fair. I just had to study. Yeah he takes off points when your answer is wrong!!! If you come to class and do your work it should be an easy A or B. He called on students in class and would help them not pick on them. Just my say.

He was my favorite math teacher. He covers the class stuff very well... Sometime it feels like too much! (Better too mch than too little). You must keep up or you will fall behind. I am taking him again for Math 100!!

Prof. S was a great guy. He gives a quiz every week, very helpful and drops 3-4 of them at the end of the semester. I averaged a 98 at the end of the semester and barely broke a sweat. listen to what he says, and what he says to study and you'll be fine. He doesn't take points off for no reason.. You have to basically WORK to get points taken off.

He is very organized, grades exactly as he says in course outline. He can be interpreted as sarcastic but he says it like it is and means well trying to help. He comes to each class early and expects us to be on time. His tests are fair but you have to do some work.

If you are absent too many times, he will subtract 5 pts from your final grade. Yes, he is sarcastic but, it's the obvious way of you not paying attention or trying. He wants you to pass, but you have to put forth the effort.

If you are a person who does not show up in class all the time, this class is not for you.

Prof Stram is a great professor. He gives extra credit quizzes that only add to the next test. Funny if you have a dark sense of humor. Doesn't collect or even check HW. TAKE STRAM

He was such a great professor. i Definetly think the textbook is necessary to pass, im horrible at math and its what helped me pass with a B+. His quizzes help so much its basically a pre-test and he will drop the lowest 2. The homework never gets checked but if you do some questions it help for the tests. Super nice!

It was summer so the pace was fast. He worked very hard to cover the material and he answers questions. I liked how he made connections between topics.

Prof Stramiello was the best math teacher i have taken at NCC and I have taken 4 maths. He relates the topics he is teaching to real life situations which is helpful in understanding it. Very clear grading criteria and genuinely cares and wants his students to do well. Has a great Sense of humor. Simply do what's required and you will pass.

I thought the Aleks on-line work boosted my grade. I had unlimited time before the weekly deadlines. Also, there were multiple attempts with no penalty and I could get help from the software. I think the last few ratings were all from one student. I am taking him again this fall for Math 101!

He isn't a bad professor, he's quite clear and straight forward what he expects. His teaching is easy going and you can understand it pretty clear but if you're struggling, he will gladly help you. His grading is fair and quizzes were easy as long as you did the homework. Overall, I'd probably get him as a professor again if I take a math again.
