He is a great teacher. It was an easy class if you take advantage of study guides. I would highly recommend.

Great Teacher! it was a fun class he always made the class laugh.very interesting class. very open teacher. The only thing that ruins this class is the grading system, if you fail the mid-term or the final or if u fail just one u fail the course even if you have all good grades :( which doesn't make any sense. it is unfair to students!

Most awesome teacher! He gives the best examples and stories to go along with the subjects. He connects with his students not only on a academic level, but a social level as well. My sister and I saw him at a Taco Bell about a year later and he still remembered us. I got a 98 in this class at the end of he semester. PICK HIM.

This guy is AWESOME. He made the class extremely enjoyable and he is SO funny. We laughed so much. We didnt need to use our book, he said just take decent notes and you'll do well. And its true, Ive got a 95 in his class right now and I never study. He is probably the best teacher I've ever had. We didnt have to pass the midterm to pass the class.

This guy is an awesome teacher, probably the best one you'll ever get at Gwinnett Tech. Hell he's the most entertaining teacher I have ever had. Kudos to you Mr. Maltais!!

Wow! He is a very fun teacher, I reccomend paying attention when he talks about his home life and pets names...he uses things like that as fluff questions on the test sometimes..if your all good students..if you just pay attention and take good notes..you will pass

He is an awesome professor and I recommend anyone who has to take psyh 191 to take his class. His lectures are interesting and he has a GREAT sense of humor. You do have to be in class to pass and PLUS he lets class out an hr early. Listen and take good notes and you will not fail.

He is an awesome teacher. but if ur not gud in test takin den i wuld not recommend his class. you only have 6 grades in his class. 4 quizzes, a midterm and a final. there are no other grades but dat. so i jus pray dat i pass dis class. gus luck if u take him. PS...make sure u listen to him wen he talks bout his dogs and his family.

He is a great teacher. Made me laugh every class. I didn't buy a book and it did not affect me whatsoever, but if you are the type who uses a book frequently then you might want to get one. Also, I would recommend attending class as he goes everything that you need to know for the test in class, and he will probably give extra credit in class.

His psy lectures are very intresting I actually wnet to every one of his optional lectures.

Mr. Maltais has so far been my favorite professor through high school and both colleges that I have attended! You have to attend and take notes to do well in the class. He explains everything very clearly and in a very fun way. He relates all topics to everyday life! I wish some of my other teachers would pick up on his teaching abilities!!

Mr. Maltais is one of the best teachers you could ask for I had an A until the chapter 6 test. If you study then it should be an easy A. He is a lot of fun and will keep you awake and interested. Taking his class has made me consider changing my major.

An easy A if you attend class and study. He is an odd guy and I think his lectures are more made up than real life stories about his family which is his claim.

He keeps everyone awake with his lectures! Take good notes (including of his dogs) lol, I loved this class, it makes me wanna major in psychology!

Tricky tests

Loved this class! He made it fun and intersting. Didn't use the book at all. All the notes are online and he teaches straigh from them. Need to study for the quizes!

Maltais is a really great professor and wants his students to do good in his class. The book is of course optional...personally I never even opened it once and made an A in the class but if you are the type of person who needs a book then get it. You will do good if you study his lecture notes from ANGEL....THAT IS A MUST! Easy A...take his class!!

Great Instructor...Take good notes in class or bring a mini recorder. The class is fun. Study all notes & u will earn an A. He wants you to do well in the class.

Professor Maltais is by far the best college professor I have ever had. If you attend his classes and elaborate on his notes (write down ALL examples he gives you!), you will be a success in his class. I did not once use my book in his class. I studied quite a bit and it paid off, I got a 100 in his class!! Take his class if you can! FLUFF!

He is the best teacher I have ever had. All you have to do is study your notes and you will have no problem passing his test with an A! You get your results within a hour after taking the test. Make sure you sit in the front row, in the middle seat. He will make sure you don't fall asleep because if you do he will be staring dead in your face! LOL!

Great teacher. Every test is straight from the notes and extra things he says in class. He actually makes school fun and intresting.

Professor Maltais was absolutely the most interesting professor I have ever had. I enjoyed his class. Print off the notes he gives you and write down the extra "fluff" he says in class and you will make an A on every quiz.

All I can say is WOW !!! VERY interesting professor. print the notes AND DO THE EXTRA CREDIT !!!! He can sometimes be boring with strange stories but GO TO HIS OFFICE FOR HELP OR EMAIL HIM !!! He is a COOL DUDE. LOL

Relaxed, Easy going, Hilarious. As long as you pay attention or read the notes (which he already has made up)and do light studying you'll do great. He's definitely got experience doing this and has flexible policies. I wish he taught every class. My favorite by far.

good teacher, i was bored most of the time but his stories are interesting and funny. i passed his class with an A. all you to do is make sure you take notes, his test are exactly from his notes, it's impossible to fail his class unless your just not paying attention.

his stories were great and memorable. very intuitive and has a genuine sense of wanting to teach. Class was smooth, no complaints. overall I would definitely take one of the courses he would teach again!

Mr.Maltais is a great teacher. He makes psychology enjoyable. This quarter none of his tests were from his notes, everything was from the book. The class was still rather easy considering we were able to take open book/note tests. If you do a light study and read the book you are sure to pass his class with a B or better. I highly recommend him!

I was a little nervous at first going into the class. Once I got my book & flipped through I thought an instant F. Turns our we didnt even use the book. He prints out you notes for you. Be sure to READ them. Gives extra credit. His stories were entertaining. I ended up with a 92.

This professor is the BEST professor I have ever had!! I have always liked psychology but taking it with Mr. Maltais made it so much more enjoyable. He's a great teacher & wants all his students to succeed & does everything he can so you can. I never once opened my book since I recorded the lectures & took notes on top of his printed out notes.

I just started this class, but I can tell you this - this instructor knows what he is doing and obviously cares a lot about his students! He is fun!

If I had the chance I would take all my Psych classes with him.

He works with the students and is very fun. I enjoyed going to class and the book is useless.

Professor Maltais is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His lectures are hilarious. Not a day goes by .. in which a student does not laugh several times. This class is *only* considered easy if you pay attention. If you do not, you will likely struggle.

Best teacher i have ever had

This guy is one of the best teachers at this school. I took him in the spring of 12 and I loved his class. The only reason I didnt get an A was because I didnt study for the first quizzes. He does not require the book and there are some questions on his tests that can only be answered right if you attended class.

He was great i wish i could have him for every class. he was funny too. Loved him!

Awesome professor!Attendace used for extra creidt points.Feels less like a class &more like a conversation. Very knowledgable about the subject. Detailed notes are provided. Test are written by him, so you'll need to be present to anserw "special" questions. If he finishes up with all he has planned for the day, he lets you out early!Sweet & funny!

Prof. Maltais was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He made class enjoyable and he was very knowledgeable. He didn't teach from the book, but from personal experiences, and you need to attend to get a good grade. He's quite a character and very funny. I would gladly take another Psychology class if he was the teacher. Recommended!

Professor Maltais is an old untraditional professor with his own mindset and opinions about everything. I respect how he treats his student and that he doesn't judge any question anyone may ask. He does talk A LOT but it all ends up tying together in a weird sense. All you have to do is listen in his class and read over the material and you'll pass

Mr. dennis is by far the best teacher I've ever had. He definitely knows what he's talking about. If you show up to class, follow along with the notes he tells you to print out off angel and study before the tests you will get an EASY A. He also gives extra credit. And is very fun to be around. Highly recommend!

If you show up, go over the material he provides you with, and study, then you will pass. I loved his lectures. He is truly the best teacher! I absolutely loved his teaching method. I wish he taught Psyc 2.

Dr. Maltais is hands down the best professor!. He genuinely wants the student to "get it." It's not about just showing up to class. He has a way of bringing the classroom together in discussion which makes it easy to learn. It's professors like Mr. Maltais that make a difference. I too wish he were teaching abnormal psychology.

Prof. Maltais is the funniest and most amazing teacher I've ever had. I chose him based on his high rating on this website, and I'm so glad I did. He only teaches one class a semester so if you get lucky enough to get in it, you get to experience a hilarious professor who manages to teach you a ton through his crazy and entertaining life stories

This guy is awesome! By far, one of the best teachers I've had in a long time. He was very clear about what needed to be done. He provides many, um... "stories" in class, which are super-funny, and are helpful with remembering concepts. To ace the class: Print out and study the notes, attend as many classes as possible, and don't buy the book.

This professor is DOUBLE AWESOME!! He is by far one of the BEST professors I've had!! He was very helpful, extremely interactive, responded to every one of my needs and questions, clear, concise, and just the most phenomenal teacher ever!! This was my very first online class, and I felt like I was in a face to face class with him the entire time!

Hey makes his lectures interesting and like he tells us, he loves his students. He offers extra credit if you need it. He tells stories to make you able to understand the material and it's hilarious. I would deff take him again. You have to read to take the online tests. Final is NOT cumulative. He's a really great guy.

Hands down the best instructor I have ever come across. It gets no better . Not only does he teach he makes sure you understand before continuing on. Even in the seriousness of his lectures you are going to laugh. I absolutely loved being one of the lucky students to take his course. I wish I could have him for every course I ever have to take!

Professor Maltais has been my favorite professor so far. He's such an interesting person, and knows how to carry that into his lectures. He loves student interaction, and cares a lot about how his students do in his class. He is by far the funniest professor I have ever had. As long as you work hard he's pretty lenient with grading.

Professor Maltais was amazing! He tells lots of stories to better explain the topics we're discussing in class. He is always making funny remarks & is just an overall great guy! He is very respected, and honestly, as long as you do the work you will do great.

I've been stuck with not the best professors at this school. Mr. Maltais is the best professor I've ever had in my life. If you review the notes he has and follow along with his lectures in class it's pretty easy to remember. Requires a little studying at least for me. His personally rocks too he's just great you'll be lucky to have him.

Definitely an easy class. Online does require you to do a lot of the work yourself, but he gives out study guides for every test. Top professor, and the course was very clear. Expect to spend about 12 hours a week on this course though.

I would have rated Easy A, but his course does require some work on the student's part. But his course is clearly outlined, so as long as you do what is requested, Easy A!

Probably one of the easiest classes I've ever taken in my life. I did the online class, and almost all of the work was on Launchpad, and very rarely would you not get full credit for that work. Tests were easy as long as you study and do the study guide he hands out, and the assignments/discussion questions were straightforward.

Great to take online. Maltais is very clear on expectations, is quick to communicate back to the students, and enjoys what he does. I thought he listens if you're having any difficulties, he makes himself available and would highly recommend him even if you're used to the Alpharetta campus.

I took Professor Maltais's on-line class. Even though the class was on-line, he was very responsive to questions and gave great feedback. He really made the on-line class feel tangible. I enjoyed the assignments that allowed us to write about a particular subject. Those assignments helped me really understand the subject matter.

Great guy

Professor Maltais changed my life. He was extremely caring and kind. He made psychology a class I looked forward to. It was more of a life experience than a class for me. He gives options for grade (bases it off of online work or lectures) and that makes it easy for anyone to pass while actually understadning. He's always answers your questions!

I had Mr. Maltais for psychology 1101 online. He was always responsive to emails. It was very clear what was expected in order to do well in the class. There were no papers to write. There were about 8 assignments throughout the class (some of them discussion board assignments). The exams were very straight forward. I would take him again.

Hes so so funny, always making out of pocket statements. Hes entertaining, thats for sure. Doesnt grade harshly, very fair. Good feedback. I definitely recommend checking out Mr. Maltais course.
