sounds like the teacher from clueless...the guy. he repeats himself about twenty times so if u don't catch it the first time you will the third or fourth..and if not there is thursday's class. He has a hot TA.he spells easy words for u if u can't spell.

everyone says he's easy but they're probably psychology majors. Only 2 tests so you need to do well on both. Tests are confusing so you really need to study your notes! No assignments but you need to study!

Easy A. 2 tests and one paper. Just memorize the models and what goes under what model for the tests.

Super easy. If you memorize a few pages of note even thought you can not understand materials, you will easily get an A.

Don't worry the 1st day! He tries to scare the class ito believing that Testing & Measurement will be all statistics in order to get slackers to drop. Its really basic stats for 2 weeks. 2 tests & a 14 page paper. A funny and intelligent guy.

This class is boring, more like an intro to psy class. Only 2 tests and they were confusing. He likes to talk about himself a lot and is easily side-tracked from the lecture.

DON'T BUY THE BOOK! You don't need it. The class is pretty easy. All you need to do is go to 6 class periods (the 3 test days and the 3 review periods before the tests). Memorize the powerpoints and you will get an A.

One of the Best teachers i've had. Class is based on 3 tests that are straight from his power point. Don't buy the book! all u gotta do is memorize the lecture notes and ur set. But YES easy class, i even slept most of the time and still pulled off a B in the class.

Easy class, I wish I had taken better advantage of it! The book isn't required, but it helped me. The tests are straightforward, he doesn't try to trick you, and there are plenty of people around who are willing to help. There are 3 tests, incl. the final, and 5 hours of outside participation in experiments.

This class is great! Saccuzzo is funny, helpful, and very interesting! I enjoyed being in his class and never fell asleep once. I didn't even study for the tests and aced eached one. He also gave us extra credit quizzes which boosted my grade even more!

Tests are straight forward and directly from the powerpoints, and all his quizes are extra credit. I also thought he was cute for an older man.

Great teacher-- he's funny and practical in lecture. the book isn't necessary, but the study guide for the book has 5qs on the test each time, so it helps to know those. Review notes often and your amount of studying time for the class will be much less... tests are fair and easy if you keep up. He's really helpful and kind, so ask questions!

I didn't buy the book or study guide and I got an A+ in the class, he did give extra credit quizzes and the tests were easy if you looked over your notes and came to class. he's very smart, take this class you wont regret it! oh and there is the additional 5 hours outside experiments but thats for every psych 101 class anyway

I got an A. You don't need the book or study guide book. Test are based on lectures. To get lab hours is easy. Do it in the beginning and get it over with. Go to class everyday. His class is interesting, a few times I felt like sleeping, but hardly ever. GOOD class for GE.

I love this class. It is a long class he always lets you out early. He gives you a study guide. The only thing to watch out for is he keeps saying that his test are easy and everyone gets A's in his class. It is true but you still have to study for the exam. There are only 3 tests I got a c on the first test and got an A in the class.

He doesn't make you buy a book and his class was great. Just print out the online notes and take them to class so that he can explain them. I would definately take him again anytime.

I don't know what the person below is talking about. What's wrong with having to study and actually know the material? And besides, how often do you come across a prof who tells you what and how he's going to word test questions. Study the powerpoint and you'll be golden. Easiest A I had all 4 years.

This class is pretty easy. I probably showed up 4 or 5 times out of the whole semester and still got a good grade. Just study the powerpoint, make a flash card for each theory/model and you'll do fine.

If you had him for 101, its pretty much a repeat but easier. Everything that's on the exam is from the powerpoint slides so memorization is a must. Its all about categorizing and knowing which person/concepts go with which models. Easy A with little effort.

i like the way he teaches, he seems really passionate about everything he talks about. interesting teacher with interesting stories to relate to his lectures. i just didnt like that the tests were based on memorization cause with so many theorists it can get confusing. bonus, no book to read, just memorize his powerpoint

Class is an easy A. Tests are easy and straight from the powerpoint slides. He makes you write a one page paper on one of the lectures. Lectures are long and boring, but he never makes you stay the full three hours (usually like an hour and a half).

This was his grading scale for fall 06 "based on a 165pts. A=146 or better with the paper B=132 or better with the paper C=113 or better with the paper D=99 or better with the paper F=Below 99" Dr. Saccuzzo is a smart guy but his TA Britney acted like she was the actual professor! attend test reviews because he gives you test answers.

this class was super easy just go to class and copy down lecture slides, missing lecture makes it a little difficult to grasp someconcepts nad he gives away questions when attendance low. test are exactly as lecture slide, like matching.

Pretty chill class. He's a nice guy and lets you out at least an hour and a half early. Tests can be a little tricky but overall they are pretty easy. I would recommend this class but say it's hard to get an A. You'll most likely get a B grade.

Oh my God... He scared me at first since he was very strict and the grading scale was harsh, but he is a psychologist (I believe he was conditioning us to be good with fear). As long as you abide by his rules and show respect, he'll ease up. The test were easy as long as you can associate things with one another since there are a lot of matching.

Grading system sucks. First exam is on the syllbus in the second meeting. He posted all the notes online, but you still need to attend each to understand the meaning. All exams are based on his lectures and slides. Exams are sketchy, but not that hard if you know your stuff.

Dennis Saccuzzo is approachable and helpful, and there are always TA's to assist as well. The tests are directly from the guides, you just have to study them!

Don't let his grading scale scare you. 95% is an A, but he gives lots of really easy extra credit. His gives most, if not all, of the test questions and answers during the optional review sessions. Always ends class early, and posts his notes online. I am concerned for you if you DON'T get an A or a B.

I am an A student/bio major so my opinion may differ from others but this class is cake. He tests on framework. Go to class and take notes on examples and defininitions tests are knowing what terms/concepts go with what person and model may be hard b/c only 3 tests, no curve, no chance to redeem a bad score. dont buy book.

Likes to put some trick questions on tests, so read carefully. 1st test given on 2nd class meeting on syllabus and 1st day notes. I added late didn't have notes, got a low C on 1st test, got B's on the next two. Overall a good class/professor

Considering the fact that he didn't require you to buy a book or that he he let our three hour long class out at least an hour every time... he's a good teacher. Only three test based on basically terms and facts instead of actual concepts. As long as you are good at memorizing, you'll do fine. Go to the first class!

Our 3 hour class was only 1.5 hous or less every time. Very easy if you memorize the notes on blackboard. No need to buy the book. Grades are based off of 3 exams only. Very, very easy.

He really enjoys what he does and his lectures are well thought out and delivered well. Watch out for test two there is a lot of information that MUST be memorized or you'll do crappy. Overall an easy class if you go to lectures(only about an hour and a half) and study a fair amount.

This literally was the easiest college class I've ever taken and I was going to community college where more was expected. I took some upper division sociology at UCSD and when I got in this class I couldn't believe it I thought it was a joke. There is a bit of trippin' with your head but in a Zen, Depak Chopra way! Sit back relax and enjoy!

He never kept us over an hour and it's a 2hr. 40 min. section. Don't have to buy the textbook because he teaches everything you need to know in lectures. Extremely easy A. Don't bother taking it if you aren't going to the first class because there's an exam the second week of class.

I'm not sure why everybody seems to think that the class was easy. The first test had a class average of 70%, and accounts for almost half your grade. If you bombed the first test, good luck to you, since there is only one more test left to bring up your grade...

Prof. Saccuzzo is a great professor. He is EXTREMELY lenient on grading and makes sure his classes have at least half A's and B's on the test (friendly curves). Very intelligent guy, I look forward to attending this class. Lets class out early all the time

The class is easy and you learn a lot too. He is really interesting to listen to. I can't imagine someone doing bad in this class.

If you attend class he goes over every thing you will see on the test. Easier than high school in my book. And I learned something!! Extremely helpful and very knowledgeble on the subject.

This professor is great! His lectures were enjoyable and useful to everyday life.I got a lot out of this class! The test are based on the notes so its best to attend class!

I got over a 100% in this class with all the extra credit he provides on his exams. Just go to lecture, study the ppt slides, and you are guaranteed to get an A. He explains the material crystal clear, you do not need to get the book (there are like 3 questions from the book per class which you can make up with extra credit).

I've taken this professor's Bar class and passed on the first time. The books were extremely helpful and the schemas even helped with my exams in law school. Whomever said those who take his class have to re-take the Bar obviously hasn't seen the statistics. Sounds like someone is bitter and just didn't study enough. This is a wonderful professor!

TAKE SACUZZO! the class is really easy. everyone pretty much gets an A. he lets you leave an hour early and he's straightforward on his tests. the entire class is pretty much just common sense. if u took 101 you'll ace this class

Very nice guy. Three tests all basically from your notes. You HAVE to attend lecture. His lectures are quiet boring but thats what he bases his tests off of, so try and pay attention. He posts his own powerpoints online so you can write notes on those since they dont give much detail. He is willing to work with you for your grade. GREAT TEACHER!

EASY CLASS. HAVE TO STUDY FOR THE TESTS but once you study for a few hours you will get an A. extra credit given too.

Not as easy as some have mentioned, but not difficult either. A fun useful class with a great lecturer you don't have to go but you should-i'm sorry it is over :(. Do the readings as well as attend and you should leave with a clear understanding of the major theories. X-tra credit paper is only worth 3 points

Best professor ever, bar none. Lectures were very entertaining and informative. PPT slides are all on Blackboard. Textbook was useless. All test content were from lectures & PPT. The key to getting a good grade on the exams is MEMORIZATION. Extra credit paper def helped. Overall a joy and pleasure of a class + professor!

Good professor. Highly recommend to take a class with him. Very interesting class. Class in based on 3 tests. Just study the lecture and powerpoints and skim the book and you'll get an A.

If you want some useful tools to help you for life outside of and during school then take this class!! Very interesting man :)

I LOVE U DR. SACUZZO!! IM EVEN STARTING TO DO RESEARCH WITH HIM, I GOT TWO As IN HIS CLASS. PSYCH 350 VERY INTERESTING CLASS AND HE TELLS YOU WHATS GOING TO BE ON THE TEST AND I GOT LIKE A 92% AND HE DIDNT GAVE ME AN A MINUS LIKE OTHER PROFESSORS.

He's great!! seriously awesome and knows so much about what he is teaching. This course is all test based (4 tests). He give study guides that tells you what on the test. Best advice: have the PPT slides printed out and take notes on what he is actually saying! this is what will be on the test! also read the book!

This was a good class! Very interesting! Dr. Saccuzzo tells you mostly whats going to be on the tests. Attendance is highly recommended!.. A lot of what he says in class is on the test. Make sure to read the chapters too b/c he takes a lot of questions from the book as well. Powerpoint based.. 4 tests; 2 @100pts, 2 @50pts, 3 extra cred pts.

He is a great professor and probably a great clinician! He is very knowledgable in the field of psychology. He responds to emails very quickly and really appreciates when students care about their progress in the course. Abnormal Psy was very interesting and if you want to go on to get your masters, this is a very great course to take! Read book!

I had him for Abnormal Psychology. Even if your not a psych major this class was really interesting. If you go to class and take notes you'll do well on the tests, especially since you gives you the questions during lecture! His study guides tell you exactly what is on the test and he is always available if you need help. Great teacher!

Great class! Saccuzzo is one of the smartest people I have ever taken a class with. I took a 2hr40min class with him, but he made it interesting. Attendance is not mandatory, but the tests are based on the lectures. You grade is based on tests, no homework or projects in the class. I recommend getting the book for the class.
