he is nice, just sit in the front and attend to his class everyday, also answer his question during the class you will be "B" or above. but you have to write journal by everyday for your extra cridet. if you really want to prove your eng level, he will be the one you should take.

personality wise he's cool but to strict especially when it comes to writting.He makes you feel stupid in front of the class.He's to much of a perfectionist.He smells good with his wipes but his class is to hard.

i had him for two classes. and i thought he was really kool. he is very willing to help you out. if you ask him questions and speak your mind in class he'll give you a good grade.he is also helpful when he writes recommendations.

This guy is a jerk. He thinks he is so awesome (coincided), he wrote the books that are required for the class. He makes everything hard. And he expects perfection. A really good essay to another teacher won't even get you a c in his class. What a downer.

take any english class with him. i already finished the first and taking the second. if you like the subject, you'll like him. he does require a lot of reading and writing on a daily basis.

Just remember that if you are at this level of English, you should not expect Professors to give you easy prompts. if you follow along and show up to clas, the prompts can be somewhat easy, and you do have to do some research on the side. Which is what you should be doing anyways!! great professor.. =]

I was a student in his class during the 90's. Tremendous instructor! He does talk about USC but that's because his life wasn't easy when he attended. When I was failing his 101 class, he took time out to make a 'contract' that stated I would pass 101 and any other classes from there on out. He's one of the few professors that I remember.

He's actually a really cool teacher despite the negative comments everyone gives him. Sometimes it gets a little bit boring because apparently he really loves Hamlet which is all good. His essays are really broad, so have something in mind.

Genuinely cares for his students. Attempts to teach us about life. Very understanding of individual situations. We had 4 papers during Spring 2010 and a final on Hamlet & Death of Ivan. Goes over all the stories assigned so the essays' substances are essentially provided in class. Rewrite allowed & easy grader. Take him, you won't regret it.

I enjoyed professor sanchez's class so much! In fact, I boldly state that he is the best professor in english I have ever had!! His teaching style is relaxed and he makes the students feel comfortable. He isn't like others who make life tough and confuse the students. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone!!!

Dennis Sanchez is a very interesting individual, and as such, makes for an interesting course. Took him for Shakespeare and fell in love with the literature all over again. His analysis on the topic is nothing short of brilliant, and he genuinely cares for the subject. He is a great person outside of the classroom, and I highly respect his opinion.

I don't know about other students but I loved his class. My writing has improved so much. At first didn't like outlining but after I got used to it. It was easier to write essays. He is very energetic and will let you slid if you show interest.

He is a good teacher! Very motivating and inspirational. He is very strict on attendance as well as essays but he shows similarity as to how they have at the higher university. If you want a good teacher where you will you will be successful in writing he is the one to get I highly recommend to take him! Join his club for extra credit as well.
