TERRIBLE. he goes too slow through the material. he had to rush in so much stuff the last week before the final. the final was impossible. i barely escaped with a C. the class started with about 40 people and only 10 people took the final.

knows his stuff, but can't teach it at all.

he is a horrible teacher, the tests are very hard and have nothing to do with what u learned in class. there is no hw so the only way to raise ur grade is through tests which not many people pass. i took this in fall 04 and i wish i had dropped.

His tests are so hard nobody passes them. He keeps us way past the time the class is suppost to end. I am getting a D and I'm working my but off. I wished I dropped. He's the worst teacher.

nobody understands what he is teaching. He makes everything hard even the easy topics. Avoid him at all costs.

Horrid. First he will spend days showing all the wrong ways to do something, then barely cover the right way to do it. I spent most of my studiying un-learning the wrong ways. He holds the class 10-15 minutes over every day. Take any other teacher, you will learn much more.

He is not just crazy. He is nuts! I got an A in his class, but I hate his teaching. I study my ass off to meet his standards.

He is not a good teacher.He uses signs like bippy,blirp,and stupid signs.He confuses the heck out of u. He is smart but expects everybody to know what he is talking about before he evn teaches it. His tests are not evn close to what he teaches in his class. And he bores the sht out of his students. Best Advice dont take him.

Incredibly hard,I studied every night just to get a decent grade but still ended up having to drop his class at the last moment.His test are EXTREMELY hard.Also his anal graphing method will****you up the kazoo,e.g.if the graph is correct but the line goes is just a hair away from the point,he will mark you off half credit.HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Do not take his class unless you have a precise understanding of Calculus - His "recommended" homework is a smoke screen to the test you are about to take - His lectures cover some material, but your expected to know the next logical step to a problem on the test. Tutors will help, but they will tell you to drop - What a terrible teacher.

This "hippie" needs to go back to school and learn how to teach. His notes and his lectures are worthless, he should be terminated immediatley.

OH MY GOD! worst teacher that has ever taught. He explains things way too wierd "BLIRP TIMES BIPPY". What is that!? i shouldve listend to my friends. Dont take this guy, hes horrible.

The worst teacher ever! I tryed to take him for summer but he is way too confusing. Only take him if you are really good at math and desperate. He goes way too fast!

Worst teacher ever. Lectured on chapters of new material the last day before finals. Left NO room for questions. The math lab was the only thing that helped me get through the class. Don't take this teacher. He will drive you crazy.

Guys, I kid you not, I tried SO hard in this class. I studied my butt off and I couldn't even pass the class. He's mean, he makes up crap and he has no idea what the word "teach" means. Don't take him. Please listen people: DON'T TAKE HIM!

DO NOT take this class, unless you are really good at math. He doesn't teach, he just lectures, and at a very quick pace. I tried to take the summer class, and after getting a bad grade on the first exam, he dropped me without even asking me...thanks a lot. Now, I'm going to be one math class behind for transferring on time...WTF!!!

Dont take him unless you plan on majoring in Math and already have a strong foundation in Algebra and I mean STRONG FOUNDATION! I thought I knew alot of Algebra, but no matter how hard I tried to succeed in his class...I couldn't. I showed up to class every day. I did the homework, asked him for advice ,got tutoring and still got a D!

DONT EVER TAKE THIS GUY! he is seriously the worst teacher ever. his lectures are sooo boring that its nearly impossible to listen to. he acts like he's talking to himself with all of his insane made-up words/symbols and what not. he doesnt make the subect interesting at all!instead, he makes it like 34724 times harder! save urselves frm this class

hes dumb. seriously. you would ask him a question and be totally serious, and he'd counter your question with one of his own. hes one of the worst teachers ever.

STAY AWAY! All he does is review examples that are already solved in the book, his tests are 10 questions, he marks off for anything he feels like, is very rude, doesnt care about his students, just about getting through material. There was a math professor from another country in our class who dropped cuz this man is so ridiculous. Just stay away!

Please Do not take him!!! He is the worst prfessor Ive ever had. He doesn't folow the schedulle. He skipd 2 sections bcause we didn't have time to cover them. the final was 80% of the new material and those 2 chapters that he didn't cover on class. It was relly unfair. This guy's method of "teaching" is absolutely ridiculous. You have to be a math buff to understand anything he tries to explain. His grading is insane. Even if your answer is right, he WILL take points off if your method of getting the answer isn't put together how he wants it. Please, do yourself a favor and DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!

WORST TEACHER EVER! If you remember the material from H.S & stuff your good , but his teaching method is horrible. People walk out of his class , because of how horrible he is! worst professor ever ,the way he teachers is very confusing and not helpful at all. He does not care about students, just wants to go through the material...i can safely say he is the worst professor i ever had.

You basically have to teach yourself in his class, he is all over the place. You never bring your textbook to class. He deducts points for not using his personal taste in methods. If you miss any class you're done. Even if you sit in the front his markers are always running out of color and it's like his lessons are invisible.

He teaches, but not very well because he expects you to know everything off the bat. Grade is based on 4 tests. Really hard and not an interesting or motivating class

His method of teaching can be summerised as follows: 1. discouraging 2. humiliating 3. you will learn less than 2% in class . ( YOU HAVE TO PRACTICALLY TEACH YOUR SELF EVERYTHING) 4. Over complicates problems. making it very easy to hate the class and the subject altogether. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR . DO NOT TAKE HIM . I DEEPLY REGRET THIS CLASS

Sure knows what he's doing but absolutely does not know how to teach it. Overcomplicates problems. You basically have to teach yourself everything all over again. Do not take his class unless you're willing to spend numerous hours studying, though I spent every hour possible studying and still only got a C. By far the worst I've ever been taught.

I took the summer of this class, and it was the worst decision I ever made. He went on and on about unnecessary things, and was never clear about what he was teaching. You might as well teach yourself this class. I never missed a day of class and still barely passed. He is very rude too, he picks on you and is not helpful.

If it was possible to give a 0 I would. Really hard to understand, speaks to students as if they're stupid, not helpful, nit picks at every little detail. Spends 30mins on one problem and the class will still be confused. Makes you do all of the problems the longest and most confusing way possible. Waste time on problems that wont be on the test.

Teacher knows the subject extremely well but, cannot TEACH! I missed one class meeting and each class meeting i would be so lost! I would go home and youtube EVERYTHING. Grade is based on tests only and he nitpicks!! Math has always been my strong subject, got A's in acctg 1,2 and stats. I do not recommend him.

Worst professor ever, really though garder,and very confusing lectures. he will take one hour to explain one example and somehow will still manage to not teach anything. whatever you do do not take him, try PACE classes theyre much easier

DO NOT take any math class with this professor this is the worst professor I've ever had. His grading scale makes you think your'e for sure going to get an A but it's lenient because it's so hard. He goes super fast and he never asks if anyone has questions and takes too long to explain one problem so it's easy to lose focus.

Prof New makes everything more difficult than it needs to be. Calculus is already hard enough so he shouldn't make it any harder with his confusing lectures. Do not take him if you haven't had math in a few years.

His lectures are very complicated and confusing. He does not have hand outs and you just need to take notes. He grades so hard and tests very heavy. I dont recommend him at all .
