This guy is a goofball! He is very into math, so he ebjoys teaching and has a lot of energy. He is funny, and interesting. I never knew midnight math could be so cool. I would take him again. I only wish he was teaching 95 next semester.

I took this class during the summer, and it went by pretty fast!!! One of the easiest math classes i have ever taken :) the great thing about him is that he gives you practice test before every test you take. The practice test are very helpful since there almost identical to the test you take. Easy A :)

Wow what a great teacher. Great teacher to take if you struggle in math. He explains everything a few different ways until you understand. Has practice tests before the exams. Good sense of humor and overall a very enjoyable class.

Defiantly the BEST math professor i have EVER had in my college experience!! i took him for math 096 during the summer and he was so helpful i took him again in the fall for math 126. He explains things well and gives your practice tests before every test which are pretty much identical :) no one should have a problem passing his classes :)

Best Math teacher I've ever had. I really wish I could've gotten him for 127. He explains things so well. And really wants you to do well. Gives sample exams for every test. Practice the sample exam and you'll do great, the real test is usually almost identical.

He takes very thorough and helpful notes in class and encourages class participation. For every test he gives us a worksheet with practice problems that are similar to what will be on the test, and then he gives us the answers to the practice problems. There are never any quizzes, and test content is never a surprise.

great teacher. makes sure you understand what is going on. Textbook is only needed to do homework. He explains everything so you never have to read a chapter. Quizzes are every 3 weeks and he gives you a practice test with a variation of all the problems on the quiz a week before. pay attention and take notes and you'll be fine. :)

AWESOME TEACHER, not the most interesting class though. His study guides help SO much since they are nearly identical to the test. He tends to over-explain certain things, and he can make something that you already knew quite confusing. I slept quite a number of classes and still ended up with an A! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND

I wish that he would teach every Math class. I would change my major to Mathematics. He is one of the best teacher I ever had. He is such a wonderful person. He knows his stuff. But he has way too much fluff in his teaching. And what I mean by that is like how he likes to add so much fluff to his lectures, even to a simple problem. It makes the solution confusing and very boring.

At first I thought his class was confusing. He would always go around in circles in his lectures. He does make you remember stuff that you wouldn't think pertains to the lecture, but it does help you. Homework is a MUST and so is attendance. His class does get easier and he gets less confusing. He's a great guy and cares about everyone's success.

he explains concepts in a new way, a better way that's easy to understand and apply, he averages attendance homework and quizzes all together so if you fail a quiz theres still hope.

You will not find another instructor like this. He is the most crystal clear instructor I've ever taken at CSN. Calculus can be a difficult subject, but with this professor, it's nearly impossible to fail this class. Everyone makes mistakes. He doesn't make many mistakes as everyone says he does. With that, he's one of the best instructors. Period.

This professor is very nice and very helpful. He is not in anyway boring, and he is always willing to answer questions. His ONLY "bad thing" is he over explains things to the point where something you may have understood becomes Chinese. However, he is more than happy to clarify any and all confusion.

One of the easiest math classes I've ever taken. Homework is optional, and I haven't even opened my textbook all semester. He lets you use notes and a sample test (WHICH HE PUTS ALL THE ANSWERS ON) on tests. This class is stupid easy!

I took this class in spring 2015. The instructor is so clear during his lectures that even if math is not your favorite subject, he's going to make you love it. He takes time to cover material that you should have studied before. Uses website to solve math problems (extra credit). Goes the xtra mile 2 ensure all students are on "same page"

Math 96 is actually the hardest math in the 90's-level math, since it's a pretty req for math124. But this professor made it SUPER EASY! I LOVE HIS MATH CLASS. Very organized, provides sample exams, do homework!!! You'll get an easy-A! Show up to class! Do all these simple things, you'll pass! He's so helpful & nice! Always ask for help, he'll help

Class was relatively easy as long as you pay attention and go to class course concepts are really easy to understand. Also logic explains logic behind formulas if asked and kind of guides you to understanding.

Denny is a passionate, knowledgeable teacher. I got to know him by stopping at his office before class. He inspired me because of his enthusiasm. His dedication and his earnest interest in teaching math was infectious. I would definitely take his class again. Had I done the work and studied a little, it would have been a easy A. I earned a B.

professor denny is the best math teacher in my life, only every third Wednesday of the month has easy test, you can open books and notes. easy A!! if you want to pass your math class easily, highly recommend!

He is wonderful. 4 exams and 1 final. He gives you a practice exam 1 week before and goes over it the class before your exam. All tests are open book. He is easy to understand and explains everything really well. I wish he taught higher level math classes as well so I could continue taking his classes.

Very nice and likable guy. You can use notes/practice exams on test. Gives "Homework" but doesn't grade them. Homework is there for you to study. You don't have to do it but if you don't, you won't pass. All math requires studying anyways. But he makes everything easy to understand and breaks everything down. Best math professor at CSN. 10/10

Very easy class. I did not have to take one note in the class. Mostly because I already knew everything. But if someone didn't understand a concept, he would stop and explain it a couple of different ways. I was taught differently on a lot of the concepts that he didn't cover. But still a very nice professor. Easy homework

He is an amazing and understanding teacher. I could have easily got an A in this class. And the only reason I didn't was because of my own person problems. I highly recommend him as your Math teacher.

He always gives great explanations on how to break down the math if you're not following. Don't hesitate to ask questions in class, he's always willing to provide help. Summer class may not be for everyone as it is fast paced. Therefore don't skip class because there's always something new.

Burzynski is one of the best math teachers I have ever had at CSN. He made the work easy to understand and didn't have any surprises in his class. There are 5 tests but they are very similar to his sample exams. He is very accessible outside of class and wants you to pass. Definitely will take again for advanced math classes!

He's got teaching math down to a science. He doesn't require you to buy the book (but it's helpful because tests are open book), he gives you hints & short cuts to solve problems easier, he makes dumb jokes to lighten the mood, and he tries not to make it too hard to pass. I only rated it 3-star difficulty because it's still high-level math.

If you took college prep math in high school, this class is basically the same thing. This class is an easy A if you show up and take a few notes for his total of 5 exams.

Took this class expecting it to be super hard, but turned out to be a super easy class! As long as you show up to class, turn in the tech problems (which he gives a practice example for each one) and take notes (he lets you use both notes and study guides for exams) then there is no reason why you shouldn't get a good grade in this class.

He is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. He is very clear in his lectures, and answers any questions you have. The exams are short, and easy with his sample exams and open notes. His tech problems were probably the only difficult part- and they are not difficult at all. He is great, and I highly recommend him!

Very friendly and happy to answer questions. Lectures can be boring because of the material but he makes a real effort to prepare students for the exams. If you can do his practice exams then you likely will do well on the actual exam.

Hes such a nice professor. The type that will not test you if he thinks youre not ready . 3/5 tests where open notes . Doesnt make you memorize formulas . As long as you show up and pay attention youre guaranteed an A .

I LOVE him! I took him for both 124 & 132 and would take him again if needed. In 132 he was a little unorganized so be prepared for that, but hes a great caring teacher that really wants you to understand. Tests are open notes, but know that if you try to turn something in late or get credit where it isn't due, he will not budge. Go to class!

Denny is really great at explaining the content, he is pretty entertaining in a math/nerdy way. Hw tech prob's are required. Great Professor if you have a opportunity to take his course dont think twice actually teachs and cares for his students. I had him for math 132 finite math made a boring class interesting if you actually show up and study the class is a breeze not too much stress also lets you use notes on test.

I have struggled with math since elementary school. I frequently make arithmetic errors, resulting in the wrong final answer despite understanding the fundamental concepts. Professor understands this and grades very fairly.

Mr. Burzynski is a great professor and truly cares about his students. He is the nicest professor I've ever met. Tests are easy and homework is 10% of the grade, and he listens to your questions and helps you.

You are graded on 4 exams, 1 final, and HW is worth 10% of your final grade. He'll answer every question you throw at him. He has the patience for those who are clueless when it comes to Math (ME) For the exams, you're allowed to come in early to take them. He's very caring and will truly help you understand the material. 2 new chapters every week.

I took his online class for Math 132 and didn't need to speak with him ever. You are taught on my math lab and you take 3 of the 4 tests on that while the other one is proctored. As long as you save all the homework it is an easy A on the tests.

If you struggle with math, TAKE THIS TEACHER!! He explains things so well and he just doesn't go over the lesson. He actually does the problems over and over again until you understand. Probably the best math teacher I've ever had. He is super easy on the grading; he gives you credit if you just try on the homework and the tests are super easy.

Professor Burzynski is THE BEST math professor i've had by far in my schooling years! He is so understanding when you have questions or any trouble. About 4 exams and 1 final exam, open note/study guide very similar to the test itself! You do need a special calculator though. Super nice guy, couldn't ask for a better math professor. Cannot say enough good things, take this class! Breaks everything down so you have a real, thorough understanding. Never makes you feel silly for asking a question. Super funny! Makes step-by-step videos for practice tests, purposely chooses to use a cheap textbook, and has open note tests. Actually enjoyed math for once! So much respect for him.

Answers all of the questions you have at any moment and is very patient. Gives you all the information and help you will need to pass the class with a good grade.

He's a little monotone and can be a bit disorganized, but overall he is a great prof! Explains even the most difficult topics like arithmetic and makes it all easy to grasp and understand. Lets you use calculators and all study materials on the exams. Tech problems are meant to help boost your grade. I recommend taking him for ANY math class!

I had this professor for math 95, 96, and 132 hes super easy and actually helps you understand the materials! I never went to class for the first two math class and still pass with an A. He always post the practice exam before each test and the test is basically the same. I had to actually go to class for 132 but he let us use notes for those test

I took this course online and it was fairly easy. We did all our homework/quizzes on Mylab Math. Just keep up with the homework and youll do good.

Professor Burzynski was a great teacher for MATH 132. I took two teachers before him who were not as clear or as helpful as he was. The YouTube page of him working out math problems that were similar to the exam were the most helpful. You really dont need the book as long as you watch the videos. I wish I took this professor the first time around!

Profesor Burzynski was a wonderful profesor! All of the lessons were on his youtube channel, and it was as if you were in actual class. If you just watch the youtube vidoes, the textbook isn't neccessary. You get up to two tries on the homework, and quizzes! He gets back to you really quickly through email as well. Easy class if you do the work!!

First-ever online math class that I was able to pass and like it at the same time. Professor Burzynski uploads videos to YouTube to help with the material. The textbook is optional (recommended.) 100% would take it again!

Grade is just based on 5 test grades. He takes the average for those 5 tests and replaces your lowest grade. This is the only math class I need so I just paid this only serves to take the quizzes fro me. But he is really nice, sent me an email after I got 100% on the first quiz to tell me a good job.

Took his Math 96 online during summer 2020, and he is a great professor! Instead of getting the textbook, he provides his youtube videos which helped me a lot! I was able to understand and get my work done every day. As long you are committed to getting your work done, you won't have a problem.

TAKE HIM! He is so great, not only does a grade of 75 a B in his class, but he also rounds up! Unlimited attempts on homework and the quizzes also have 2 attempts. Has live conferences if you have questions, but also has a youtube channel where he explains everything. Read the textbook, watch the videos and you will pass. I wish he taught 126.

Professor Burzynski was amazing! I took his math 96 class during the Fall 2020 semester. He was very helpful and gave good lectures. The amount of work given is very reasonable. Overall, wonderful class, and I highly recommend him to other students.

Grt prof. Online. Doesn't just shoot you some videos and then go camping (or whatever these other online teachers do all semester). You get real online classroom time (not required if you don't need it) with one-on-one Q&A at the end. He records class so you can watch later and provides YouTube channel help too. Hard class but he makes it easier.

Professor Burzynski made a difficult topic easy to learn, not only did he use a homework platform that allowed you to actually retain the information he made him self available 2 times a week through bigbluebuttom (zoom) and answered emails in a timely fashion. I couldn't recommend him any more!

Grades calculated by homework (unlimited attempts per question) and the final exam (three attempts per question). Lectures are SUPER helpful but not mandatory to go to. Prof Burzynski is always ready to help when you need him and great at teaching. I would reccommend this class to anyone/everyone needing to take MATH124!

Lots of homework but theres a lot of time to get it done. The homework itself makes up a huge portion of your grade along with a final exam. As long as you do the work the class is simple and his grading isn't too tough.

Its a very easy class!!! 21 quizzes in total, for each section of the online textbook, two try's each quiz until the final quiz which Is one try. If you don't get his lectures you can search it up on google and take notes there. He gave reminders for each test and made the process easy. The easiest math class I've had so far!! good luck.

Just make sure you do your work and you'll pass. I took Math124E second easiest classes I've taken in my life he's the best.

(took math176, wasnt an option) calculus is just a hard in general, but the professor really does try to make the material easy to understand. through the website he uses, it gives videos for individual math problems.

Each unit has a lot of HW, but you'll have weeks, if not a whole month, to complete them. HW has unlimited attempts, and exams have 3 attempts per question. There are practice quizzes/exams before each unit exam, which are identical to the question type that will be used on the actual exam. There are also Tech Assignments that use an online calc.

I took Mr. Burzynski's class in Fall 2024, although I just got around to rating him. I cannot recommend him enough. He is so caring and wants to you to pass. He goes over the homework, does examples with you, and prepares you well for the tests. I don't think I would've been successful in the class if it wasn't for him. He also wrote the textbook!

I encourage everyone who is DRC student to take math 124 with this professor he is awesome amazing hard worker professor he does homework and in class homework sheet he grade everything for your test so please show all your work because he is awesome teacher I mean if it wasn't for him I wouldn't pass his class he loves to chat before class.

Great prof, I am terrible at math and thought I could never pass it but he made the class very simple, I used the sample exams to study for the real exams and that helped the most, since they were very similar.
