Professor Oliver is great! He cares about the material and wants his students to care about it too. Very lecture-heavy, but funny. It was a five-week course, so the weekly readings were very extensive. I imagine they would be spaced out better over Fall or Spring. If you're willing to put in the effort by reading and studying, you'll do well.

This professor was great at lecturing even though there was a lot of that, he made everything enjoyable and wanted a lot of participation.

He's a hard working professor who's hilarious but at the same time knows how to get his work done.

He's good at lectures and doesn't drone on and on without letting people ask questions. He answers people's questions well and expects participation from the class. He doesn't take late grades but if you get your work done on time then the class is easy and he's not too harsh on grading.

I want students to know that he will help you with whatever they need. He will lecture but he does it very well. If you participate you will pass the class.

This class is the first college class I've taken so far because of Dual Credit, but for him being my first professor I'd say this is one of my favorite classes I've taken. He has lectures every class and has multiple opportunities for credit. He talks a lot which means he explains well, he's communicative with the class and works with all students.

Such an amazing teacher!! His class is very lecture heavy and he is very passionate in his lectures. He is also super engaging during his lectures and uses lots of anecdotes do help us remember important information. He prepares us very well for all of our exams, so there never is any confusion.

Professor Oliver's main teaching style is lecture and that involves him discussing a slide and providing detail about it. He is very good at keeping your attention because he provides real life examples about certain topics and that helps to relate it to something outside of facts that we may not know about and can convey material easy due to this.

This prefessor, overall is a really chill guy, when it comes to its lectures, he uses a power point with bullet points, but he goes in depth with each point, making it easy to take notes, he also gives ous quesstions we disscuss on canvas. The cool part about that is that the questions are answered in class and in the textbook. I reccomend 10/10

Took him for a 5 week summer course. Most hilarious and chill professor ever, class talked and joked with him a lot. Very easy class, he'll help you out plenty throughout the course. Lots of reading required, set time aside for the textbook. Weekly multiple choice exams which were short and easy, allows notes on the exams as well. 5/5

Denzel is an AWESOME proffessor. He is definetly one of, if not the best professor I've had. He cares a lot about what he does and he makes class very interesting and interactive. I took him for a winter mester and wish I had more time with this guy. For the wintermester, we did have to read a ton but that might just be because of the winternester.

I would recommend this prof to everyone. His lectures are fun to listen to and you'll actually learn a lot. I did a winter course and it was much faster, but Prof Oliver didn't make the work super difficult. Exams are self-explanatory as long as you do the review (do the review!).
